| 'Alam Nashraĥ Laka Şadraka | 094.001 Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- | أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ |
| Wa Wađa`nā `Anka Wizraka | 094.002 And removed from thee thy burden | وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ |
| Al-Ladhī 'Anqađa Žahraka | 094.003 The which did gall thy back?- | الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ |
| Wa Rafa`nā Laka Dhikraka | 094.004 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? | وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ |
| Fa'inna Ma`a Al-`Usri Yusrāan | 094.005 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: | فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرا ً |
| 'Inna Ma`a Al-`Usri Yusrāan | 094.006 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. | إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرا ً |
| Fa'idhā Faraghta Fānşab | 094.007 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, | فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ |
| Wa 'Ilá Rabbika Fārghab | 094.008 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. | وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ |
