84) Sūrat Al-'Inshiqāq | Printed format | 84) سُورَة الإنشِقَاق |
| 'Idhā As-Samā'u Anshaqqat | 084.001 When the sky is rent asunder, | إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انشَقَّتْ |
| Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat | 084.002 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so);- | وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-'Arđu Muddat | 084.003 And when the earth is flattened out, | وَإِذَا الأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ |
| Wa 'Alqat Mā Fīhā Wa Takhallat | 084.004 And casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty, | وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ |
| Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat | 084.005 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord,- and it must needs (do so);- (then will come Home the full reality). | وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu 'Innaka Kādiĥun 'Ilá Rabbika Kadĥāan Famulāqīhi | 084.006 O thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him. | يَاأَيُّهَا الإِنسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِح ٌ إِلَى رَبِّكَ كَدْحا ً فَمُلاَقِيهِ |
| Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi | 084.007 Then he who is given his Record in his right hand, | فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَه ُُ بِيَمِينِهِ |
| Fasawfa Yuĥāsabu Ĥisābāan Yasīrāan | 084.008 Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, | فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابا ً يَسِيرا ً |
| Wa Yanqalibu 'Ilá 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan | 084.009 And he will turn to his people, rejoicing! | وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِه ِِ مَسْرُورا ً |
| Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Warā'a Žahrihi | 084.010 But he who is given his Record behind his back,- | وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَه ُُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ |
| Fasawfa Yad`ū Thubūrāan | 084.011 Soon will he cry for perdition, | فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورا ً |
| Wa Yaşlá Sa`īrāan | 084.012 And he will enter a Blazing Fire. | وَيَصْلَى سَعِيرا ً |
| 'Innahu Kāna Fī 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan | 084.013 Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing! | إِنَّه ُُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِه ِِ مَسْرُورا ً |
| 'Innahu Žanna 'An Lan Yaĥūra | 084.014 Truly, did he think that he would not have to return (to Us)! | إِنَّه ُُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ |
| Balá 'Inna Rabbahu Kāna Bihi Başīrāan | 084.015 Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him! | بَلَى إِنَّ رَبَّه ُُ كَانَ بِه ِِ بَصِيرا ً |
| Falā 'Uqsimu Bish-Shafaqi | 084.016 So I do call to witness the ruddy glow of Sunset; | فَلاَ أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ |
| Wa Al-Layli Wa Mā Wasaqa | 084.017 The Night and its Homing; | وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ |
| Wa Al-Qamari 'Idhā Attasaqa | 084.018 And the Moon in her fullness: | وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ |
| Latarkabunna Ţabaqāan `An Ţabaqin | 084.019 Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage. | لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقاً عَنْ طَبَق ٍ |
| Famā Lahum Lā Yu'uminūna | 084.020 What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- | فَمَا لَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Quri'a `Alayhimu Al-Qur'ānu Lā Yasjudūna | 084.021 And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate, | وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لاَ يَسْجُدُونَ |
| Bali Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yukadhdhibūna | 084.022 But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). | بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yū`ūna | 084.023 But God has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts) | وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ |
| Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin | 084.024 So announce to them a Penalty Grievous, | فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيم ٍ |
| 'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin | 084.025 Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. | إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُون ٍ |
