Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Attaqū Rabbakum ۚ 'Inna Zalzalata As-Sā`ati Shay'un `Ažīmun (Al-Ĥaj: 1). 022.001 O mankind! fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible! ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌‍رَبَّكُمْ ‌إِنّ‌َ ۚ ‌زَلْزَلَةَ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةِ شَ‍‍يْءٌ‌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Yawma Tarawnahā Tadh/halu Kullu Murđi`atin `Ammā 'Arđa`at Wa Tađa`u Kullu Dhāti Ĥamlin Ĥamlahā Wa Tará An-Nāsa Sukārá Wa Mā Hum Bisukārá Wa Lakinna `Adhāba Allāhi Shadīdun (Al-Ĥaj: 2). 022.002 The Day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of God. يَ‍‍وْمَ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌وْنَهَا‌ تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِ‍‍عَةٍ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا أَ‌رْضَ‍‍عَتْ ‌وَتَ‍‍ضَ‍‍عُ كُلُّ ‌ذ‍َ‍‌اتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ سُكَا‌‍رَ‌ى وَمَا‌ هُمْ بِسُكَا‌‍رَ‌ى وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ شَدِيدٌ
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yujādilu Fī Al-Lahi Bighayri `Ilmin Wa Yattabi`u Kulla Shayţānin Marīdin (Al-Ĥaj: 3). 022.003 And yet among men there are such as dispute about God, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion! وَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُجَا‌دِلُ فِي ‌اللَّهِ بِ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ عِلْمٍ ‌وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْ‍‍طَ‍انٍ مَ‍‍رِيدٍ
Kutiba `Alayhi 'Annahu Man Tawallāhu Fa'annahu Yuđilluhu Wa Yahdīhi 'Ilá `Adhābi As-Sa`īri (Al-Ĥaj: 4). 022.004 About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship, him will he lead astray, and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire. كُتِبَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَوَلاَّهُ فَأَنَّ‍‍هُ يُ‍‍‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّهُ ‌وَيَهْد‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌إِلَى‌ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌ال‍‍سَّعِي‍‍رِ
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'In KuntumRaybin Mina Al-Ba`thi Fa'innā Khalaqnākum Min Turābin Thumma Min Nuţfatin Thumma Min `Alaqatin Thumma Min Muđghatin Mukhallaqatin Wa Ghayri Mukhallaqatin Linubayyina Lakum ۚ Wa Nuqirru Al-'Arĥāmi Mā Nashā'u 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musamman Thumma Nukhrijukum Ţiflāan Thumma Litablughū 'Ashuddakum ۖ Wa Minkum Man Yutawaffá Wa Minkum Man Yuraddu 'Ilá 'Ardhali Al-`Umuri Likaylā Ya`lama Min Ba`di `Ilmin Shay'āan ۚ Wa Tará Al-'Arđa Hāmidatan Fa'idhā 'Anzalnā `Alayhā Al-Mā'a Ahtazzat Wa Rabat Wa 'Anbatat Min Kulli Zawjin Bahījin (Al-Ĥaj: 5). 022.005 O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ فِي ‌‍‍‍رَيْ‍‍بٍ مِنَ ‌الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّ‍‍ا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍رَ‍‌ابٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نُ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍فَةٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍ةٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مُ‍‍ضْ‍‍غَ‍‍ةٍ مُ‍‍خَ‍‍لَّ‍‍قَ‍‍ةٍ ‌وَغَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ مُ‍‍خَ‍‍لَّ‍‍قَ‍‍ةٍ لِنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَنُ‍‍قِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍ُ‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْح‍‍َامِ مَا‌ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ إِلَ‍‍ى أَجَلٍ مُسَ‍‍مّ‍‍ىً ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ نُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجُكُمْ طِ‍‍فْلاً ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لِتَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ‍‍غُ‍‍وا ‌أَشُدَّكُمْ ۖ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُتَوَفَّى وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍رَ‌دُّ إِلَ‍‍ى أَ‌رْ‌ذَلِ ‌الْعُمُ‍‍رِ لِكَيْلاَ‌ يَعْلَمَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ عِلْمٍ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۚ ‌وَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ عَلَيْهَا‌ ‌الْم‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌اهْتَزَّتْ ‌وَ‌‍رَبَتْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍بَتَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ ‌زَ‌وْجٍ بَهِيجٍ
Dhālika Bi'anna Allāha Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Wa 'Annahu Yuĥyī Al-Mawtá Wa 'Annahu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 6). 022.006 This is so, because God is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things. ذَلِكَ بِأَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ هُوَ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ ‌وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ يُحْيِي ‌الْمَوْتَى وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
Wa 'Anna As-Sā`ata 'ĀtiyatunRayba Fīhā Wa 'Anna Allāha Yab`athu Man Al-Qubūri (Al-Ĥaj: 7). 022.007 And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that God will raise up all who are in the graves. وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةَ ‌آتِيَة ٌ لاَ ‍‍‍رَيْ‍‍بَ فِيهَا وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَثُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍بُو‌رِ
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yujādilu Fī Al-Lahi Bighayri `Ilmin Wa Lā Hudan Wa Lā Kitābin Munīrin (Al-Ĥaj: 8). 022.008 Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about God, without Knowledge, without Guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,- وَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُجَا‌دِلُ فِي ‌اللَّهِ بِ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ عِلْمٍ ‌وَلاَ‌ هُ‍‍د‌ىً ‌وَلاَ‌ كِت‍‍َابٍ مُنِي‍‍ر‍‍ٍ‍
Thāniya `Iţfihi Liyuđilla `An Sabīli Allāhi ۖ Lahu Fī Ad-DunKhizyun ۖ Wa Nudhīquhu Yawma Al-Qiyāmati `Adhāba Al-Ĥarīqi (Al-Ĥaj: 9). 022.009 (Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of God: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire). ثَانِيَ عِ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍فِهِ لِيُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لَّ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ لَهُ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ خِ‍‍زْيٌ ۖ ‌وَنُذِي‍‍قُ‍‍هُ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌الْحَ‍‍رِي‍‍قِ
Dhālika Bimā Qaddamat Yadāka Wa 'Anna Allāha Laysa Bižallāmin Lil`abīdi (Al-Ĥaj: 10). 022.010 (It will be said): "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth, for verily God is not unjust to His servants. ذَلِكَ بِمَا‌ قَ‍‍دَّمَتْ يَد‍َ‍‌اكَ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ بِ‍‍ظَ‍‍لاَّمٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Ya`budu Allāha `Alá Ĥarfin ۖ Fa'in 'Aşābahu Khayrun Aţma'anna Bihi ۖ Wa 'In 'Aşābat/hu Fitnatun Anqalaba `Alá Wajhihi Khasira Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirata Dhālika ۚ Huwa Al-Khusrānu Al-Mubīnu (Al-Ĥaj: 11). 022.011 There are among men some who serve God, as it were, on the verge: if good befalls them, they are, therewith, well content; but if a trial comes to them, they turn on their faces: they lose both this world and the Hereafter: that is loss for all to see! وَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَعْبُدُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ حَرْفٍ ۖ فَإِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‍‍صَ‍‍ابَهُ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ ‌ا‍طْ‍‍‍‍مَأَنّ‌َ بِهِ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‍صَ‍‍ابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ ‌ان‍‍قَ‍‍لَبَ عَلَى وَجْ‍‍هِهِ خَ‍‍سِ‍‍رَ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةَ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ هُوَ ‌الْ‍‍خُ‍‍سْ‍رَ‍‌انُ ‌الْمُبِينُ
Yad`ū Min Dūni Allāhi Mā Lā Yađurruhu Wa Mā Lā Yanfa`uhu ۚ Dhālika Huwa Ađ-Đalālu Al-Ba`īdu (Al-Ĥaj: 12). 022.012 They call on such deities, besides God, as can neither hurt nor profit them: that is straying far indeed (from the Way)! يَ‍‍دْعُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّهُ ‌وَمَا‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فَعُهُ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ هُوَ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍لاَلُ ‌الْبَعِيدُ
Yad`ū Laman Đarruhu 'Aqrabu Min Naf`ihi ۚ Labi'sa Al-Mawlá Wa Labi'sa Al-`Ashīru (Al-Ĥaj: 13). 022.013 (Perhaps) they call on one whose hurt is nearer than his profit: evil, indeed, is the patron, and evil the companion (or help)! يَ‍‍دْعُوا لَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ضَ‍‍رُّهُ ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَبُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْعِهِ ۚ لَبِئْسَ ‌الْمَوْلَى وَلَبِئْسَ ‌الْعَشِيرُ
'Inna Allāha Yudkhilu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru ۚ 'Inna Allāha Yaf`alu Mā Yurīdu (Al-Ĥaj: 14). 022.014 Verily God will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for God carries out all that He plans. إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍لُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَفْعَلُ مَا‌ يُ‍‍رِيدُ
Man Kāna Yažunnu 'An Lan Yanşurahu Allāhu Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Falyamdud Bisababin 'Ilá As-Samā'i Thumma Liyaqţa` Falyanžur Hal Yudh/hibanna Kayduhu Mā Yaghīžu (Al-Ĥaj: 15). 022.015 If any think that God will not help him (His Apostle) in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off: then let him see whether his plan will remove that which enrages (him)! مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ يَ‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍نُّ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍رَهُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ فَلْيَمْدُ‌دْ‌ بِسَبَبٍ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لِيَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍عْ فَلْيَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ هَلْ يُذْهِبَ‍‍نَّ كَيْدُهُ مَا‌ يَ‍‍غِ‍‍ي‍‍ظُ
Wa Kadhalika 'Anzalnāhu 'Āyātin Bayyinātin Wa 'Anna Allāha Yahdī Man Yurīdu (Al-Ĥaj: 16). 022.016 Thus have We sent down Clear Sings; and verily God doth guide whom He will! وَكَذَلِكَ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْن‍‍َاهُ ‌آي‍‍َاتٍ بَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍رِيدُ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Al-Ladhīna Hādū Wa Aş-Şābi'īna Wa An-Naşārá Wa Al-Majūsa Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Ashrakū 'Inna Allāha Yafşilu Baynahum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۚ 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Shahīdun (Al-Ĥaj: 17). 022.017 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians, Christians, Magians, and Polytheists,- God will judge between them on the Day of Judgment: for God is witness of all things. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هَا‌دُ‌وا ‌وَ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِئ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌‍رَ‌ى وَ‌الْمَج‍‍ُ‍وسَ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَشْ‍رَكُ‍‍وا ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَفْ‍‍صِ‍‍لُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ شَهِيدٌ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Yasjudu Lahu Man As-Samāwāti Wa Man Al-'Arđi Wa Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru Wa An-Nujūmu Wa Al-Jibālu Wa Ash-Shajaru Wa Ad-Dawābbu Wa Kathīrun Mina An-Nāsi ۖ Wa Kathīrun Ĥaqqa `Alayhi Al-`Adhābu ۗ Wa Man Yuhini Allāhu Famā Lahu Min Mukrimin ۚ 'Inna Allāha Yaf`alu Mā Yashā'u (Al-Ĥaj: 18). 022.018 Seest thou not that to God bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as God shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for God carries out all that He wills. أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَسْجُدُ‌ لَهُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسُ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَرُ وَ‌ال‍‍نُّ‍‍ج‍‍ُ‍ومُ ‌وَ‌الْجِب‍‍َالُ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شَّجَرُ وَ‌ال‍‍دَّ‌و‍َ‍‌ابُّ ‌وَكَث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۖ ‌وَكَث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ‌ حَ‍‍قَّ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُهِنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فَمَا‌ لَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مُكْ‍‍رِمٍ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَفْعَلُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍
Hadhāni Khaşmāni Akhtaşamū Fī Rabbihim ۖ Fa-Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Quţţi`at Lahum Thiyābun Min Nārin Yuşabbu Min Fawqi Ru'ūsihimu Al-Ĥamīmu (Al-Ĥaj: 19). 022.019 These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water. هَذ‍َ‍‌انِ خَ‍‍صْ‍‍م‍‍َانِ ‌اخْ‍‍تَ‍‍صَ‍‍مُوا فِي ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ۖ فَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا قُ‍‍طِّ‍‍عَتْ لَهُمْ ثِي‍‍َابٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ن‍‍َا‌ر‌ٍ يُ‍‍صَ‍‍بُّ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قِ ‌رُ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وسِهِمُ ‌الْحَمِيمُ
Yuşharu Bihi Mā Fī Buţūnihim Wa Al-Julūdu (Al-Ĥaj: 20). 022.020 With it will be scalded what is within their bodies, as well as (their) skins. يُ‍‍صْ‍‍هَرُ‌ بِهِ مَا‌ فِي بُ‍‍طُ‍‍ونِهِمْ ‌وَ‌الْجُلُو‌دُ
Wa Lahum Maqāmi`u Min Ĥadīdin (Al-Ĥaj: 21). 022.021 In addition there will be maces of iron (to punish) them. وَلَهُمْ مَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍امِعُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ حَدِيدٍ
Kullamā 'Adū 'An Yakhrujū Minhā Min Ghammin 'U`īdū Fīhā Wa Dhūqū `Adhāba Al-Ĥarīqi (Al-Ĥaj: 22). 022.022 Every time they wish to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), "Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!" كُلَّمَ‍‍ا أَ‌‍‍‍رَ‌ا‌دُ‌وا ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُوا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ غَ‍‍مّ‍‍ٍ ‌أُعِيدُ‌وا فِيهَا وَ‌ذُ‌وقُ‍‍وا عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌الْحَ‍‍رِي‍‍قِ
'Inna Allāha Yudkhilu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Yuĥallawna Fīhā Min 'Asāwira Min Dhahabin Wa Lu'ulu'uāan ۖ Wa Libāsuhum Fīhā Ĥarīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 23). 022.023 God will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow: they shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍لُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ يُحَلَّ‍‍وْنَ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَسَا‌وِ‌رَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَهَبٍ ‌وَلُؤْلُؤ‌اً ۖ ‌وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا‌ حَ‍‍رِيرٌ
Wa Hudū 'Ilá Aţ-Ţayyibi Mina Al-Qawli Wa Hudū 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-Ĥamīdi (Al-Ĥaj: 24). 022.024 For they have been guided (in this life) to the purest of speeches; they have been guided to the Path of Him Who is Worthy of (all) Praise. وَهُدُ‌وا ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّبِ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ ‌وَهُدُ‌وا ‌إِلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطِ ‌الْحَمِيدِ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Al-Masjidi Al-Ĥarāmi Al-Ladhī Ja`alnāhu Lilnnāsi Sawā'an Al-`Ākifu Fīhi Wa Al-Bādi ۚ Wa Man Yurid Fīhi Bi'ilĥādin Bižulmin Nudhiqhu Min `Adhābin 'Alīmin (Al-Ĥaj: 25). 022.025 As to those who have rejected (God), and would keep back (men) from the Way of God, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌وَيَ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍دّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌الْمَسْجِدِ‌ ‌الْحَ‍رَ‍‌امِ ‌الَّذِي جَعَلْن‍‍َاهُ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ سَو‍َ‌اءً ‌الْعَاكِفُ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌الْب‍‍َا‌دِ‌ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍رِ‌دْ‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ بِإِلْح‍‍َا‌د‌ٍ بِ‍‍ظُ‍‍لْمٍ نُذِ‍قْ‍‍‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٍ ‌أَلِيمٍ
Wa 'Idh Bawwa'nā Li'ibhīma Makāna Al-Bayti 'An Lā Tushrik Bī Shay'āan Wa Ţahhir Baytiya Lilţţā'ifīna Wa Al-Qā'imīna Wa Ar-Rukka`i As-Sujūdi (Al-Ĥaj: 26). 022.026 Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ بَوَّ‌أْنَا‌ لِإبْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ مَك‍‍َانَ ‌الْبَ‍‍يْ‍‍تِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ لاَ‌ تُشْ‍‍رِكْ بِي شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَطَ‍‍هِّ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ بَيْتِيَ لِل‍‍طَّ‍‍ائِف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍ائِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍رُّكَّعِ ‌ال‍‍سُّجُو‌دِ
Wa 'Adhdhin An-Nāsi Bil-Ĥajji Ya'tūka Rijālāan Wa `Alá Kulli Đāmirin Ya'tīna Min Kulli Fajjin `Amīqin (Al-Ĥaj: 27). 022.027 "And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways; وَ‌أَ‌ذِّ‌ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ بِ‌الْحَجِّ يَأْت‍‍ُ‍وكَ ‌رِجَالاً ‌وَعَلَى‌ كُلِّ ضَ‍‍امِ‍‍ر‌ٍ يَأْت‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِي‍‍قٍ
Liyash/hadū Manāfi`a Lahum Wa Yadhkurū Asma Allāhi Fī 'Ayyāmin Ma`lūmātin `Alá Mā Razaqahum Min Bahīmati Al-'An`ām ۖ Fakulū Minhā Wa 'Aţ`imū Al-Bā'isa Al-Faqīra (Al-Ĥaj: 28). 022.028 "That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of God, through the Days appointed, over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want. لِيَشْهَدُ‌وا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ ‌وَيَذْكُرُ‌وا ‌اسْمَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَيّ‍‍َامٍ مَعْلُوم‍‍َاتٍ عَلَى‌ مَا ‍‍‍رَ‌زَقَ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَهِيمَةِ ‌الأَنعَام ۖ فَكُلُوا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا وَ‌أَ‍طْ‍‍‍‍عِمُوا ‌الْب‍‍َائِسَ ‌الْفَ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍رَ
Thumma Liyaqđū Tafathahum Wa Lyūfū Nudhūrahum Wa Lya55ţawwafū Bil-Bayti Al-`Atīqi (Al-Ĥaj: 29). 022.029 "Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House." ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لِيَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍وا تَفَثَهُمْ ‌وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُ‌و‌‍رَهُمْ ‌وَلْيَ‍‍طَّ‍‍وَّفُوا بِ‌الْبَ‍‍يْ‍‍تِ ‌الْعَتِي‍‍قِ
Dhālika Wa Man Yu`ažžim Ĥurumāti Allāhi Fahuwa Khayrun Lahu `Inda Rabbihi ۗ Wa 'Uĥillat Lakumu Al-'An`ām 'Illā Mā Yutlá `Alaykum ۖjtanibū Ar-Rijsa Mina Al-'Awthāni Wa Ajtanibū Qawla Az-Zūri (Al-Ĥaj: 30). 022.030 Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of God, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,- ذَلِكَ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُعَ‍‍‍‍ظِّ‍‍مْ حُرُم‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَهُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَهُ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ ‌الأَنعَام ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ يُتْلَى‌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَاجْ‍‍تَنِبُوا ‌ال‍‍رِّجْ‍‍سَ مِنَ ‌الأَ‌وْث‍‍َانِ ‌وَ‌اجْ‍‍تَنِبُوا قَ‍‍وْلَ ‌ال‍‍زُّ‌و‌رِ
Ĥunafā'a Lillāh Ghayra Mushrikīna Bihi ۚ Wa Man Yushrik Billāhi Faka'annamā Kharra Mina As-Samā'i Fatakhţafuhu Aţ-Ţayru 'Aw Tahwī Bihi Ar-Rīĥu Fī Makānin Saĥīqin (Al-Ĥaj: 31). 022.031 Being true in faith to God, and never assigning partners to Him: if anyone assigns partners to God, is as if he had fallen from heaven and been snatched up by birds, or the wind had swooped (like a bird on its prey) and thrown him into a far-distant place. حُنَف‍‍َا‌ءَ لِلَّهِ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ مُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بِهِ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُشْ‍‍رِكْ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَكَأَنَّ‍‍مَا‌ خَ‍رَّ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ فَتَ‍‍خْ‍‍طَ‍‍فُهُ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ أَ‌وْ‌ تَهْوِي بِهِ ‌ال‍‍رّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍حُ فِي مَك‍‍َانٍ سَحِي‍‍قٍ
Dhālika Wa Man Yu`ažžim Sha`ā'ira Allāhi Fa'innahā Min Taq Al-Qulūbi (Al-Ĥaj: 32). 022.032 Such (is his state): and whoever holds in honour the symbols of God, (in the sacrifice of animals), such (honour) should come truly from piety of heart. ذَلِكَ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُعَ‍‍‍‍ظِّ‍‍مْ شَع‍‍َائِ‍‍رَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَإِنَّ‍‍هَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍وَ‌ى‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍لُوبِ
Lakum Fīhā Manāfi`u 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musamman Thumma Maĥilluhā 'Ilá Al-Bayti Al-`Atīqi (Al-Ĥaj: 33). 022.033 In them ye have benefits for a term appointed: in the end their place of sacrifice is near the Ancient House. لَكُمْ فِيهَا‌ مَنَافِعُ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَجَلٍ مُسَ‍‍مّ‍‍ىً ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ مَحِلُّهَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ ‌الْبَ‍‍يْ‍‍تِ ‌الْعَتِي‍‍‍‍قِ
Wa Likulli 'Ummatin Ja`alnā Mansakāan Liyadhkurū Asma Allāhi `Alá Mā Razaqahum Min Bahīmati Al-'An`āmi ۗ Fa'ilahukum 'Ilahun Wāĥidun Falahu 'Aslimū ۗ Wa Bashshiri Al-Mukhbitīna (Al-Ĥaj: 34). 022.034 To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice), that they might celebrate the name of God over the sustenance He gave them from animals (fit for food). But your God is One God: submit then your wills to Him (in Islam): and give thou the good news to those who humble themselves,- وَلِكُلِّ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ جَعَلْنَا‌ مَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍سَكاً لِيَذْكُرُ‌وا ‌اسْمَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَى‌ مَا ‍‍‍رَ‌زَقَ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَهِيمَةِ ‌الأَنع‍‍َامِ ۗ فَإِلَهُكُمْ ‌إِلَهٌ ‌وَ‌احِدٌ فَلَهُ ‌أَسْلِمُوا ۗ ‌وَبَشِّرِ‌ ‌الْمُ‍‍خْ‍‍بِتِينَ
Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Dhukira Allāhu Wajilat Qulūbuhum Wa Aş-Şābirīna `Alá Mā 'Aşābahum Wa Al-Muqīmī Aş-Şalāati Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna (Al-Ĥaj: 35). 022.035 To those whose hearts when God is mentioned, are filled with fear, who show patient perseverance over their afflictions, keep up regular prayer, and spend (in charity) out of what We have bestowed upon them. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ذُكِ‍‍رَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَجِلَتْ قُ‍‍لُوبُهُمْ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَلَى‌ مَ‍‍ا أَ‍صَ‍‍ابَهُمْ ‌وَ‌الْمُ‍‍قِ‍‍يمِي ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةِ ‌وَمِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَ‌زَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ يُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Al-Budna Ja`alnāhā Lakum Min Sha`ā'iri Allāhi Lakum Fīhā Khayrun ۖdhkurū Asma Allāhi `Alayhā Şawāffa ۖ Fa'idhā Wajabat Junūbuhā Fakulū Minhā Wa 'Aţ`imū Al-Qāni`a Wa Al-Mu`tarra ۚ Kadhālika Sakhkharnāhā Lakum La`allakum Tashkurūna (Al-Ĥaj: 36). 022.036 The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the symbols from God: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of God over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful. وَ‌الْبُ‍‍دْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا‌ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَع‍‍َائِرِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ ۖ فَا‌ذْكُرُ‌وا ‌اسْمَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْهَا‌ صَ‍‍و‍َ‍‌افَّ ۖ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا‌ فَكُلُوا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا وَ‌أَ‍طْ‍‍‍‍عِمُوا ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍انِعَ ‌وَ‌الْمُعْتَ‍رَّۚ كَذَلِكَ سَ‍‍خَّ‍‍رْنَاهَا‌ لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُ‌ونَ
Lan Yanāla Allāha Luĥūmuhā Wa Lā Dimā'uuhā Wa Lakin Yanāluhu At-Taqwá Minkum ۚ Kadhālika Sakhkharahā Lakum Litukabbirū Allaha `Alá Mā Hadākum ۗ Wa Bashshiri Al-Muĥsinīna (Al-Ĥaj: 37). 022.037 It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches God: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify God for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right. لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَن‍‍َالَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لُحُومُهَا وَلاَ دِم‍‍َا‌ؤُهَا وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَنَالُهُ ‌ال‍‍تَّ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍وَ‌ى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ۚ كَذَلِكَ سَ‍‍خَّ‍رَهَا‌ لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُ‌وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ هَدَ‌اكُمْ ۗ ‌وَبَشِّرِ‌ ‌الْمُحْسِنِينَ
'Inna Allāha Yudāfi`u `Ani Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū ۗ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Kulla Khawwānin Kafūrin (Al-Ĥaj: 38). 022.038 Verily God will defend (from ill) those who believe: verily, God loveth not any that is a traitor to faith, or show ingratitude. إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُدَ‌افِعُ عَنِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُ‍‍وا ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ كُلَّ خَ‍‍وّ‍َ‍‌انٍ كَفُو‌رٍ
'Udhina Lilladhīna Yuqātalūna Bi'annahum Žulimū ۚ Wa 'Inna Allāha `Alá Naşrihim Laqadīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 39). 022.039 To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, God is most powerful for their aid;- أُ‌ذِنَ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍اتَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ ظُ‍‍لِمُوا ۚ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ نَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِهِمْ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
Al-Ladhīna 'Ukhrijū Min Diyārihim Bighayri Ĥaqqin 'Illā 'An Yaqūlū Rabbunā Al-Lahu ۗ Wa Lawlā Daf`u Allāhi An-Nāsa Ba`đahum Biba`đin Lahuddimat Şawāmi`u Wa Biya`un Wa Şalawātun Wa Masājidu Yudhkaru Fīhā Asmu Allāhi Kathīan ۗ Wa Layanşuranna Allāhu Man Yanşuruhu ۗ 'Inna Allāha Laqawīyun `Azīzun (Al-Ĥaj: 40). 022.040 (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is God". Did not God check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of God is commemorated in abundant measure. God will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily God is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will). ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دِيَا‌رِهِمْ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حَ‍‍قّ‌ٍ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا ‌‍رَبُّنَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ ۗ ‌وَلَوْلاَ دَفْعُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ بَعْ‍‍ضَ‍‍هُمْ بِبَعْ‍‍ضٍ لَهُدِّمَتْ صَ‍‍وَ‌امِعُ ‌وَبِيَعٌ ‌وَ‍صَ‍‍لَو‍َ‍‌اتٌ ‌وَمَسَاجِدُ‌ يُذْكَرُ‌ فِيهَا‌ ‌اسْمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً ۗ ‌وَلَيَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍رَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍‍رُهُ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍وِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
Al-Ladhīna 'In Makkannāhum Al-'Arđi 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātawā Az-Zakāata Wa 'Amarū Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Nahawā `Ani Al-Munkari ۗ Wa Lillāh `Āqibatu Al-'Umūri (Al-Ĥaj: 41). 022.041 (They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with God rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ مَكَّ‍‍نَّ‍‍اهُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ‌أَقَ‍‍امُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَ‌آتَوْ‌ا‌ ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةَ ‌وَ‌أَمَرُ‌وا بِ‌الْمَعْر‍ُ‍‌وفِ ‌وَنَهَوْ‌ا‌ عَنِ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ‍‍رِ ۗ ‌وَلِلَّهِ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الأُمُو‌رِ
Wa 'In Yukadhdhibūka Faqad Kadhdhabat Qablahum Qawmu Nūĥin Wa `Ādun Wa Thamūdu (Al-Ĥaj: 42). 022.042 If they treat thy (mission) as false, so did the peoples before them (with their prophets),- the People of Noah, and 'Ad and Thamud; وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يُكَذِّب‍‍ُ‍وكَ فَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كَذَّبَتْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَهُمْ قَ‍‍وْمُ ن‍‍ُ‍وحٍ ‌وَع‍‍َا‌دٌ ‌وَثَمُو‌دُ
Wa Qawmu 'Ibhīma Wa Qawmu Lūţin (Al-Ĥaj: 43). 022.043 Those of Abraham and Lut; وَ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمُ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌وَقَ‍‍وْمُ لُوطٍ
Wa 'Aşĥābu Madyana ۖ Wa Kudhdhiba Mūsá Fa'amlaytu Lilkāfirīna Thumma ۖ 'Akhadhtuhum Fakayfa Kāna Nakīri (Al-Ĥaj: 44). 022.044 And the Companions of the Madyan People; and Moses was rejected (in the same way). But I granted respite to the Unbelievers, and (only) after that did I punish them: but how (terrible) was my rejection (of them)! وَ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ مَ‍‍دْيَنَ ۖ ‌وَكُذِّبَ مُوسَى‌ فَأَمْلَ‍‍يْ‍‍تُ لِلْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َانَ نَكِي‍‍رِ
Faka'ayyin Min Qaryatin 'Ahlaknāhā Wa Hiya Žālimatun Fahiya Khāwiyatun `Alá `Urūshihā Wa Bi'rin Mu`aţţalatin Wa Qaşrin Mashīdin (Al-Ĥaj: 45). 022.045 How many populations have We destroyed, which were given to wrong-doing? They tumbled down on their roofs. And how many wells are lying idle and neglected, and castles lofty and well-built? فَكَأَيِّ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌أَهْلَكْنَاهَا وَهِيَ ظَ‍‍الِمَةٌ فَهِيَ خَ‍‍ا‌وِيَةٌ عَلَى‌ عُرُ‌وشِهَا وَبِئْر‌ٍ مُعَ‍‍طَّ‍‍لَةٍ ‌وَقَ‍‍صْ‍‍ر‌ٍ مَشِيدٍ
'Afalam Yasīrū Fī Al-'Arđi Fatakūna Lahum Qulūbun Ya`qilūna Bihā 'Aw 'Ādhānun Yasma`ūna Bihā ۖ Fa'innahā Lā Ta`má Al-'Abşāru Wa Lakin Ta`má Al-Qulūbu Allatī Fī Aş-Şudūri (Al-Ĥaj: 46). 022.046 Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and minds) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts. أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُ‌وا فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ فَتَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَهُمْ قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبٌ يَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَ‍‍ا أَ‌وْ آ‌ذ‍َ‍‌انٌ يَسْمَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَا‌ ۖ فَإِنَّ‍‍هَا‌ لاَ‌ تَعْمَى‌ ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍ا‌رُ وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَعْمَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبُ ‌الَّتِي فِي ‌ال‍‍صُّ‍‍دُ‌و‌رِ
Wa Yasta`jilūnaka Bil-`Adhābi Wa Lan Yukhlifa Allāhu Wa`dahu ۚ Wa 'Inna Yawmāan `Inda Rabbika Ka'alfi Sanatin Mimmā Ta`uddūna (Al-Ĥaj: 47). 022.047 Yet they ask thee to hasten on the Punishment! But God will not fail in His Promise. Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning. وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌وَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍لِفَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَعْدَهُ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ يَوْماً‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَعُدُّ‌ونَ
Wa Ka'ayyin Min Qaryatin 'Amlaytu Lahā Wa Hiya Žālimatun Thumma 'Akhadhtuhā Wa 'Ilayya Al-Maşīru (Al-Ĥaj: 48). 022.048 And to how many populations did I give respite, which were given to wrong-doing? in the end I punished them. To me is the destination (of all). وَكَأَيِّ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌أَمْلَ‍‍يْ‍‍تُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَ‍‍الِمَةٌ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْتُهَا وَ‌إِلَيَّ ‌الْمَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
Qul Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Innamā 'Anā Lakum Nadhīrun Mubīnun (Al-Ĥaj: 49). 022.049 Say: "O men! I am (sent) to you only to give a Clear Warning: قُ‍‍لْ ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أَنَا‌ لَكُمْ نَذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ مُبِينٌ
Fa-Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum Maghfiratun Wa Rizqun Karīmun (Al-Ĥaj: 50). 022.050 "Those who believe and work righteousness, for them is forgiveness and a sustenance most generous. فَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ لَهُمْ مَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٌ ‌وَ‌رِ‌زْق‌‍ٌ‌ كَ‍‍رِيمٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Sa`awā Fī 'Āyātinā Mu`ājizīna 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi (Al-Ĥaj: 51). 022.051 "But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them,- they will be Companions of the Fire." وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ سَعَوْ‌ا‌ فِ‍‍ي ‌آيَاتِنَا‌ مُعَاجِز‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ ‌الْجَحِيمِ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Min Rasūlin Wa Lā Nabīyin 'Illā 'Idhā Tamanná 'Alqá Ash-Shayţānu Fī 'Umnīyatihi Fayansakhu Allāhu Mā Yulqī Ash-Shayţānu Thumma Yuĥkimu Allāhu 'Āyātihi ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (Al-Ĥaj: 52). 022.052 Never did We send an apostle or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but God will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and God will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for God is full of Knowledge and Wisdom: وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٍ ‌وَلاَ‌ نَبِيٍّ ‌إِلاَّ إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ تَمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ى أَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ فِ‍‍ي ‌أُمْنِيَّتِهِ فَيَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍سَ‍‍خُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَا‌ يُلْ‍‍قِ‍‍ي ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يُحْكِمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌آيَاتِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَكِيمٌ
Liyaj`ala Mā Yulqī Ash-Shayţānu Fitnatan Lilladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Marađun Wa Al-Qāsiyati Qulūbuhum ۗ Wa 'Inna Až-Žālimīna Lafī Shiqāqin Ba`īdin (Al-Ĥaj: 53). 022.053 That He may make the suggestions thrown in by Satan, but a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and who are hardened of heart: verily the wrong-doers are in a schism far (from the Truth): لِيَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَ مَا‌ يُلْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍ي ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ فِتْنَة ً‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ مَ‍رَض‍ٌ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍اسِيَةِ قُ‍‍لُوبُهُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَفِي شِ‍‍قَ‍اق‍ٍ بَعِيدٍ
Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-`Ilma 'Annahu Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Fayu'uminū Bihi Fatukhbita Lahu Qulūbuhum ۗ Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahādi Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Ilá Şiţin Mustaqīmin (Al-Ĥaj: 54). 022.054 And that those on whom knowledge has been bestowed may learn that the (Qur'an) is the Truth from thy Lord, and that they may believe therein, and their hearts may be made humbly (open) to it: for verily God is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Way. وَلِيَعْلَمَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا ‌الْعِلْمَ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكَ فَيُؤْمِنُوا بِهِ فَتُ‍‍خْ‍‍بِتَ لَهُ قُ‍‍لُوبُهُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَه‍‍َا‌دِ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطٍ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٍ
Wa Lā Yazālu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fī Miryatin Minhu Ĥattá Ta'tiyahumu As-Sā`atu Baghtatan 'Aw Ya'tiyahum `Adhābu Yawmin `Aqīmin (Al-Ĥaj: 55). 022.055 Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster. وَلاَ‌ يَز‍َ‍‌الُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا فِي مِ‍‍ر‌ْيَةٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ حَتَّى‌ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةُ بَ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍تَةً ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ يَ‍‍وْمٍ عَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٍ
Al-Mulku Yawma'idhin Lillāh Yaĥkumu Baynahum ۚ Fa-Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Fī Jannāti An-Na`īmi (Al-Ĥaj: 56). 022.056 On that Day of Dominion will be that of God: He will judge between them: so those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in Gardens of Delight. ‌الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ لِلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ فَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ فِي جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتِ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍عِيمِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Fa'ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun Muhīnun (Al-Ĥaj: 57). 022.057 And for those who reject Faith and deny our Signs, there will be a humiliating Punishment. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا‌ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ مُهِينٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Hājarū Fī Sabīli Allāhi Thumma Qutilū 'Aw Mātū Layarzuqannahumu Allāhu Rizqāan Ĥasanāan ۚ Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahuwa Khayru Ar-ziqīna (Al-Ĥaj: 58). 022.058 Those who leave their homes in the cause of God, and are then slain or die,- On them will God bestow verily a goodly Provision: Truly God is He Who bestows the best provision. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هَاجَرُ‌وا فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ قُ‍‍تِلُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مَاتُوا لَيَرْ‌زُقَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌رِ‌زْق‍‍اً‌ حَسَناً ۚ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَهُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّ‌ا‌زِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Layudkhilannahum Mudkhalāan Yarđawnahu ۗ Wa 'Inna Allāha La`alīmun Ĥalīmun (Al-Ĥaj: 59). 022.059 Verily He will admit them to a place with which they shall be well pleased: for God is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. لَيُ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍لَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ مُ‍‍دْ‍خَ‍‍لاً يَرْضَ‍‍وْنَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَعَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَلِيمٌ
Dhālika Wa Man `Āqaba Bimithli Mā `Ūqiba Bihi Thumma Bughiya `Alayhi Layanşurannahu Allāhu ۗ 'Inna Allāha La`afūwun Ghafūrun (Al-Ĥaj: 60). 022.060 That (is so). And if one has retaliated to no greater extent than the injury he received, and is again set upon inordinately, God will help him: for God is One that blots out (sins) and forgives (again and again). ذَلِكَ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَا‍‍قَ‍‍بَ بِمِثْلِ مَا‌ عُوقِ‍‍بَ بِهِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ بُ‍‍غِ‍‍يَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ لَيَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍رَنَّ‍‍هُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَعَفُوٌّ‌ غَ‍‍فُو‌رٌ
Dhālika Bi'anna Allāha Yūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Yūliju An-Nahāra Al-Layli Wa 'Anna Allāha Samī`un Başīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 61). 022.061 That is because God merges night into day, and He merges day into night, and verily it is God Who hears and sees (all things). ذَلِكَ بِأَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُولِجُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ فِي ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رِ ‌وَيُولِجُ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍‍‍رَ‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ع‌‍ٌ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرٌ
Dhālika Bi'anna Allāha Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Wa 'Anna Mā Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Huwa Al-Bāţilu Wa 'Anna Allāha Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-Kabīru (Al-Ĥaj: 62). 022.062 That is because God - He is the Reality; and those besides Him whom they invoke,- they are but vain Falsehood: verily God is He, Most High, Most Great. ذَلِكَ بِأَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ هُوَ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ مَا‌ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ هُوَ ‌الْبَاطِ‍‍لُ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ هُوَ ‌الْعَلِيُّ ‌الْكَبِيرُ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fatuşbiĥu Al-'Arđu Mukhđarratan ۗ 'Inna Allāha Laţīfun Khabīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 63). 022.063 Seest thou not that God sends down rain from the sky, and forthwith the earth becomes clothed with green? for God is He Who understands the finest mysteries, and is well-acquainted (with them). أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ م‍‍َا‌ءً فَتُ‍‍صْ‍‍بِحُ ‌الأَ‌رْضُ مُ‍‍خْ‍‍ضَ‍رَّةً ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَ‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍فٌ خَ‍‍بِيرٌ
Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahuwa Al-Ghanīyu Al-Ĥamīdu (Al-Ĥaj: 64). 022.064 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: for verily God,- He is free of all wants, Worthy of all Praise. لَهُ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَهُوَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍نِيُّ ‌الْحَمِيدُ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Sakhkhara Lakum Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Al-Fulka Tajrī Fī Al-Baĥri Bi'amrihi Wa Yumsiku As-Samā'a 'An Taqa`a `Alá Al-'Arđi 'Illā Bi'idhnihi ۗ 'Inna Allāha Bin-Nāsi Lara'ūfun Raĥīmun (Al-Ĥaj: 65). 022.065 Seest thou not that God has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for God is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man. أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ سَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ لَكُمْ مَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌الْفُلْكَ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي فِي ‌الْبَحْ‍‍رِ بِأَمْ‍‍رِهِ ‌وَيُمْسِكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءَ أَ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍قَ‍‍عَ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِهِ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ بِ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لَ‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وف ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Aĥyākum Thumma Yumītukum Thumma Yuĥyīkum ۗ 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lakafūrun (Al-Ĥaj: 66). 022.066 It is He Who gave you life, will cause you to die, and will again give you life: Truly man is a most ungrateful creature! وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي ‌أَحْيَاكُمْ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يُحْيِيكُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ لَكَفُو‌رٌ
Likulli 'Ummatin Ja`alnā Mansakāan Hum Nāsikūhu ۖ Falā Yunāzi`unnaka Fī Al-'Amri ۚ Wa Ad`u 'Ilá Rabbika ۖ 'Innaka La`alá Hudan Mustaqīmin (Al-Ĥaj: 67). 022.067 To every People have We appointed rites and ceremonies which they must follow: let them not then dispute with thee on the matter, but do thou invite (them) to thy Lord: for thou art assuredly on the Right Way. لِكُلِّ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ جَعَلْنَا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‍‍سَكاً‌ هُمْ نَاسِك‍‍ُ‍وهُ ۖ فَلاَ‌ يُنَا‌زِعُ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ فِي ‌الأَمْ‍‍رِ ۚ ‌وَ‌ا‌دْعُ ‌إِلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّكَ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَعَلَى‌ هُ‍‍د‌ىً مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٍ
Wa 'In Jādalūka Faquli Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Ta`malūna (Al-Ĥaj: 68). 022.068 If they do wrangle with thee, say, "God knows best what it is ye are doing." وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ جَا‌دَل‍‍ُ‍وكَ فَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Al-Lahu Yaĥkumu Baynakum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Fīmā Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna (Al-Ĥaj: 69). 022.069 "God will judge between you on the Day of Judgment concerning the matters in which ye differ." ‌اللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ فِيمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ تَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَلِفُونَ
'Alam Ta`lam 'Anna Allāha Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samā'i Wa Al-'Arđi ۗ 'Inna Dhālika Fī Kitābin ۚ 'Inna Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Yasīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 70). 022.070 Knowest thou not that God knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Indeed it is all in a Record, and that is easy for God. أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ذَلِكَ فِي كِت‍‍َابٍ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ذَلِكَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ يَسِيرٌ
Wa Ya`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi Mā Lam Yunazzil Bihi Sulţānāan Wa Mā Laysa Lahum Bihi `Ilmun ۗ Wa Mā Lilžžālimīna Min Naşīrin (Al-Ĥaj: 71). 022.071 Yet they worship, besides God, things for which no authority has been sent down to them, and of which they have (really) no knowledge: for those that do wrong there is no helper. وَيَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍اناً ‌وَمَا‌ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لَهُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ لِل‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍ر‍‍ٍ‍
Wa 'Idhā Tutlá `Alayhim 'Āyātunā Bayyinātin Ta`rifu Fī Wujūhi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Al-Munkara ۖ Yakādūna Yasţūna Bial-Ladhīna Yatlūna `Alayhim 'Āyātinā ۗ Qul 'Afa'unabbi'ukum Bisharrin Min Dhalikumu ۗ An-Nāru Wa`adahā Al-Lahu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū ۖ Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru (Al-Ĥaj: 72). 022.072 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! God has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!" وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ تُتْلَى‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌آيَاتُنَا‌ بَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ تَعْ‍‍رِفُ فِي ‌وُج‍‍ُ‍وهِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ‍‍‍رَۖ يَكَا‌د‍ُ‍‌ونَ يَسْ‍‍طُ‍‍ونَ بِ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتْل‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌آيَاتِنَا‌ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِشَرّ‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَلِكُمُ ۗ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رُ وَعَدَهَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ۖ ‌وَبِئْسَ ‌الْمَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Đuriba Mathalun Fāstami`ū Lahu ۚ 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūni Allāhi Lan Yakhluqū Dhubābāan Wa Lawi Ajtama`ū Lahu ۖ Wa 'In Yaslubhumu Adh-Dhubābu Shay'āan Lā Yastanqidhūhu Minhu ۚ Đa`ufa Aţ-Ţālibu Wa Al-Maţlūbu (Al-Ĥaj: 73). 022.073 O men! Here is a parable set forth! listen to it! Those on whom, besides God, ye call, cannot create (even) a fly, if they all met together for the purpose! and if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. Feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition! ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ضُ‍‍رِبَ مَثَلٌ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌ذُبَاباً ‌وَلَوِ‌ ‌اجْ‍‍تَمَعُوا لَهُ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَسْلُ‍‍بْ‍‍هُمُ ‌ال‍‍ذُّب‍‍َابُ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً لاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‌‍ن‍‍قِ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ۚ ضَ‍‍عُفَ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍الِبُ ‌وَ‌الْمَ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍لُوبُ
Qadarū Allaha Ĥaqqa Qadrihi ۗ 'Inna Allāha Laqawīyun `Azīzun (Al-Ĥaj: 74). 022.074 No just estimate have they made of God: for God is He Who is strong and able to Carry out His Will. مَا‌ قَ‍‍دَ‌رُ‌وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ حَ‍‍قَّ قَ‍‍دْ‌رِهِ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍وِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
Al-Lahu Yaşţafī Mina Al-Malā'ikati Rusulāan Wa Mina An-Nāsi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Samī`un Başīrun (Al-Ĥaj: 75). 022.075 God chooses messengers from angels and from men for God is He Who hears and sees (all things). ‌اللَّهُ يَ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍طَ‍‍فِي مِنَ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةِ ‌رُسُلاً ‌وَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ع‌‍ٌ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرٌ
Ya`lamu Mā Bayna 'Ayd99him Wa Mā Khalfahum ۗ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Turja`u Al-'Umūru (Al-Ĥaj: 76). 022.076 He knows what is before them and what is behind them: and to God go back all questions (for decision). يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ ‌وَمَا‌ خَ‍‍لْفَهُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ تُرْجَعُ ‌الأُمُو‌رُ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Arka`ū Wa Asjudū Wa A`budū Rabbakum Wa Af`alū Al-Khayra La`allakum Tufliĥūna (Al-Ĥaj: 77). 022.077 O ye who believe! bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper. ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌ا‌رْكَعُوا ‌وَ‌اسْجُدُ‌وا ‌وَ‌اعْبُدُ‌وا ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكُمْ ‌وَ‌افْعَلُوا ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Jāhidū Fī Al-Lahi Ĥaqqa Jihādihi ۚ Huwa Ajtabākum Wa Mā Ja`ala `Alaykum Ad-Dīni Min Ĥarajin ۚ Millata 'Abīkum 'Ibhīma ۚ Huwa Sammākumu Al-Muslimyna Min Qablu Wa Fī Hādhā Liyakūna Ar-Rasūlu Shahīdāan `Alaykum Wa Takūnū Shuhadā'a `Alá ۚ An-Nāsi Fa'aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa A`taşimū Billāhi Huwa ۖ Mawlākum Fani`ma Al-Mawlá Wa Ni`ma An-Naşīru (Al-Ĥaj: 78). 022.078 And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Apostle may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to God! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! وَجَاهِدُ‌وا فِي ‌اللَّهِ حَ‍‍‍‍قَّ جِهَا‌دِهِ ۚ هُوَ ‌اجْ‍‍تَبَاكُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ حَ‍رَجٍ ۚ مِلَّةَ ‌أَبِيكُمْ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ۚ هُوَ‌ سَ‍‍مَّ‍‍اكُمُ ‌الْمُسْلِمينَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ‌وَفِي هَذَ‌ا‌ لِيَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولُ شَهِيد‌اً‌ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَتَكُونُوا شُهَد‍َ‌اءَ‌ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۚ فَأَقِ‍‍يمُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَ‌آتُوا ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةَ ‌وَ‌اعْتَ‍‍صِ‍‍مُوا بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ هُوَ‌ مَوْلاَكُمْ ۖ فَنِعْمَ ‌الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
