| THIS CHAPTER of six sections contains 118 late Meccan verses, all in fact except for the very last one. it was revealed after Prophets 21 and before Worship 32 and The Inevitable 56. It takes its name from the first sentence in the chapter (NOTE that Chapter 40 has an alternate title, The Believer, with the same noun used in the singular). The mood here is somewhat poetic with its initial vision of creation and man's reproduction; then it relates God's transcendent care in providing for mankind and the Universe. Noah's mission is mentioned next (II), followed by a description of the final reward in an inspiring scene (IV). | Qad 'Aflaĥa Al-Mu'uminūna | 023-001* Believers will succeed! | قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Al-Ladhīna Hum Fī Şalātihim Khāshi`ūna | 023-002* [This means] those who are reverent in their prayer, | الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلاَتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum `Ani Al-Laghwi Mu`riđūna | 023-003* who refrain from idle talk, | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Lilzzakāati Fā`ilūna | 023-004* who are active in [promoting] public welfare | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Lifurūjihim Ĥāfižūna | 023-005* and who guard their private parts | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ |
| 'Illā `Alá 'Azwājihim 'W Mā Malakat 'Aymānuhum Fa'innahum Ghayru Malūmīna | 023-006* except with their spouses and whomever their right hands may control, since then they are free from blame. | إِلاَّ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ |
| Famani Abtaghá Warā'a Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-`Ādūna | 023-007* Those who hanker after anything beyond that are going too far! | فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Li'mānātihim Wa `Ahdihim Rā`ūna | 023-008* And those who preserve their trusts and their pledge, | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum `Alá Şalawātihim Yuĥāfižūna | 023-009* and who attend to their prayers, | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ |
| 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Wārithūna | 023-010* will be the heirs | أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ |
| Al-Ladhīna Yarithūna Al-Firdawsa Hum Fīhā Khālidūna | 023-011* who shall inherit Paradise to live there for ever. Creation and Reproduction | الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ |
| Wa Laqad Khalaqnā Al-'Insāna Min Sulālatin Min Ţīnin | 023-012* We created man from an extract of clay; | وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ مِنْ سُلاَلَةٍ مِنْ طِين ٍ |
| Thumma Ja`alnāhu Nuţfatan Fī Qarārin Makīnin | 023-013* then We placed him as a drop of semen in a secure resting-place. | ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاه ُ نُطْفَة ً فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِين ٍ |
| Thumma Khalaqnā An-Nuţfata `Alaqatan Fakhalaqnā Al-`Alaqata Muđghatan Fakhalaqnā Al-Muđghata `Ižāmāan Fakasawnā Al-`Ižāma Laĥmāan Thumma 'Ansha'nāhu Khalqāan 'Ākhara ۚ Fatabāraka Al-Lahu 'Aĥsanu Al-Khāliqīna | 023-014* Then We turned the semen into a clot; next We turned the clot into tissue; and then We turned the tissue into bones and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We reproduced him as a fresh creation. Blessed be God, the Best of Creators! | ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَة ً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَة ً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَاما ً فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْما ً ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاه ُ خَلْقا ً آخَرَ ۚ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ |
| Thumma 'Innakum Ba`da Dhālika Lamayyitūna | 023-015* Then later on you shall die. | ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ |
| Thumma 'Innakum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Tub`athūna | 023-016* Next you will be raised up again on Resurrection Day. God's Care | ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ |
| Wa Laqad Khalaqnā Fawqakum Sab`a Ţarā'iqa Wa Mā Kunnā `Ani Al-Khalqi Ghāfilīna | 023-017* We have created seven orbits above you; We have not been heedless about creation. | وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ |
| Wa 'Anzalnā Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Biqadarin Fa'askannāhu Fī Al-'Arđi ۖ Wa 'Innā `Alá Dhahābin Bihi Laqādirūna | 023-018* We send down water from the sky in due measure, and let it trickle into the earth. We are even Able to make it disappear. | وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاه ُ فِي الأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَى ذَهَاب ٍ بِه ِِ لَقَادِرُونَ |
| Fa'ansha'nā Lakum Bihi Jannātin Min Nakhīlin Wa 'A`nābin Lakum Fīhā Fawākihu Kathīratun Wa Minhā Ta'kulūna | 023-019* We have produced date groves and vineyards on it for you; from which you have much fruit to eat, | فَأَنشَأْنَا لَكُمْ بِه ِِ جَنَّاتٍ مِنْ نَخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَاب ٍ لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَوَاكِه ُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ |
| Wa Shajaratan Takhruju Min Ţūri Saynā'a Tanbutu Bid-Duhni Wa Şibghin Lil'ākilīna | 023-020* as well as a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and seasoning for those who [want to] eat. | وَشَجَرَة ً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ طُورِ سَيْنَاءَ تَنْبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغ ٍ لِلآكِلِينَ |
| Wa 'Inna Lakum Fī Al-'An`āmi La`ibratan ۖ Nusqīkum Mimmā Fī Buţūnihā Wa Lakum Fīhā Manāfi`u Kathīratun Wa Minhā Ta'kulūna | 023-021* You have [still another] lesson in livestock: We let you drink what is in their bellies, and you have many [other] uses in them; some of them you eat, | وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الأَنعَامِ لَعِبْرَة ً ۖ نُسقِيكُمْ مِمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ |
| Wa `Alayhā Wa `Alá Al-Fulki Tuĥmalūna | 023-022* while on them and on shipboard are you transported. Noah (II) | وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ |
| Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan 'Ilá Qawmihi Faqāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Al-Laha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu ۖ 'Afalā Tattaqūna | 023-023* We sent Noah to his folk, and he said: "My people, worship God; you have no other deity except Him. Will you not do your duty?" | وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحا ً إِلَى قَوْمِه ِِ فَقَالَ يَاقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَه ٍٍ غَيْرُهُ~ُ أَفَلاَ ۖ تَتَّقُونَ |
| Faqāla Al-Mala'u Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Qawmihi Mā Hādhā 'Illā Basharun Mithlukum Yurīdu 'An Yatafađđala `Alaykum Wa Law Shā'a Al-Lahu La'anzala Malā'ikatan Mā Sami`nā Bihadhā Fī 'Ābā'inā Al-'Awwalīna | 023-024* The elders among his folk who disbelieved said: "This is only a human being like yourselves who wants to attain some superiority over you. If God had wished, He would have sent down angels [instead]. We never heard about this from our early forefathers. | فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِه ِِ مَا هَذَا إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلاَئِكَة ً مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الأَوَّلِينَ |
| 'In Huwa 'Illā Rajulun Bihi Jinnatun Fatarabbaşū Bihi Ĥattá Ĥīnin | 023-025* He is only a man possessed by some sprite, so try to catch him off guard for a moment." | إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ رَجُل ٌ بِه ِِ جِنَّة ٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا بِه ِِ حَتَّى حِين ٍ |
| Qāla Rabbi Anşurnī Bimā Kadhdhabūni | 023-026* He said; "My Lord, support me in view of how they have rejected me!" | قَالَ رَبِّ انصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ |
| Fa'awĥaynā 'Ilayhi 'Ani Aşna`i Al-Fulka Bi'a`yuninā Wa Waĥyinā Fa'idhā Jā'a 'Amrunā Wa Fāra At-Tannūru ۙ Fāsluk Fīhā Min Kullin Zawjayni Athnayni Wa 'Ahlaka 'Illā Man Sabaqa `Alayhi Al-Qawlu Minhum ۖ Wa Lā Tukhāţibnī Fī Al-Ladhīna Žalamū ۖ 'Innahum Mughraqūna | 023-027* So We inspired him: "Build the ship under Our eyes and through Our inspiration. When Our command comes and the reservoir bursts open, send two out of every species on board as well as your own family, except for any of them against whom the Sentence has already been pronounced. Do not lecture Me about those who have done wrong: they will be drowned. | فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ ۙ فَاسْلُكْ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلاَّ مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَلاَ تُخَاطِبْنِي فِي الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ مُغْرَقُونَ |
| Fa'idhā Astawayta 'Anta Wa Man Ma`aka `Alá Al-Fulki Faquli Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Al-Ladhī Najjānā Mina Al-Qawmi Až-Žālimīna | 023-028* When you and anyone else who is with you have boarded the ship, then SAY: "Praise be to God, Who has saved us from such wicked folk!" | فَإِذَا اسْتَوَيْتَ أَنْتَ وَمَنْ مَعَكَ عَلَى الْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي نَجَّانَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Wa Qul Rabbi 'Anzilnī Munzalāan Mubārakāan Wa 'Anta Khayru Al-Munzilīna | 023-029* And (also) SAY: "My Lord, land me through a blessed landing; You are the best Harbormaster!" Unnamed Messengers | وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنْزَلا ً مُبَارَكا ً وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ |
| 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Wa 'In Kunnā Lamubtalīna | 023-030* In that there were signs: We are always Testing (people). ( | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ وَإِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ |
| Thumma 'Ansha'nā Min Ba`dihim Qarnāan 'Ākharīna | 023-031* Then We produced a generation of others after them; | ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنا ً آخَرِينَ |
| Fa'arsalnā Fīhim Rasūlāan Minhum 'Ani A`budū Al-Laha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu ۖ 'Afalā Tattaqūna | 023-032* We sent a messenger around from among themselves: "Serve God; you have no other deity except Him! Will you not do your duty?") (III) | فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولا ً مِنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَه ٍٍ غَيْرُهُ~ُ ۖ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ |
| Wa Qāla Al-Mala'u Min Qawmihi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Biliqā'i Al-'Ākhirati Wa 'Atrafnāhum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Mā Hādhā 'Illā Basharun Mithlukum Ya'kulu Mimmā Ta'kulūna Minhu Wa Yashrabu Mimmā Tashrabūna | 023-033* The elders among his people who disbelieved and denied there would be any meeting in the Hereafter, even though We had granted them every luxury during worldly life, said: "This is only a human being like yourselves; he eats what you eat, and drinks what you drink. | وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ الآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَذَا إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ |
| Wa La'in 'Aţa`tum Basharāan Mithlakum 'Innakum 'Idhāan Lakhāsirūna | 023-034* If you obey a human being just like yourselves, you will then turn out to be losers. | وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُمْ بَشَرا ً مِثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذا ً لَخَاسِرُونَ |
| 'Aya`idukum 'Annakum 'Idhā Mittum Wa Kuntum Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'Annakum Mukhrajūna | 023-035* Does he promise you that when you die and have become dust and bones, that you will be brought forth again? | أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاما ً أَنَّكُمْ مُخْرَجُونَ |
| Hayhāta Hayhāta Limā Tū`adūna | 023-036* Away, off with whatever you are threatened with! | هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوعَدُونَ |
| 'In Hiya 'Illā Ĥayātunā Ad-Dunyā Namūtu Wa Naĥyā Wa Mā Naĥnu Bimab`ūthīna | 023-037* There exists only our present life; we die even as we live, and shall not be raised up again. | إِنْ هِيَ إِلاَّ حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ |
| 'In Huwa 'Illā Rajulun Aftará `Alá Al-Lahi Kadhibāan Wa Mā Naĥnu Lahu Bimu'uminīna | 023-038* He is only a man who has invented some lie about God, and we do not believe in him." | إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ رَجُل ٌ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبا ً وَمَا نَحْنُ لَه ُ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Qāla Rabbi Anşurnī Bimā Kadhdhabūni | 023-039* He said: "My Lord, support me because they have rejected me!" | قَالَ رَبِّ انصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ |
| Qāla `Ammā Qalīlin Layuşbiĥunna Nādimīna | 023-040* He said: "Some morning soon they will feel regretful." | قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيل ٍ لَيُصْبِحُنَّ نَادِمِينَ |
| Fa'akhadhat/humu Aş-Şayĥatu Bil-Ĥaqqi Faja`alnāhum Ghuthā'an ۚ Fabu`dāan Lilqawmi Až-Žālimīna | 023-041* The Blast really caught them and We turned them into rubbish. Away with such wicked folk | فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ غُثَاء ً ۚ فَبُعْدا ً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Thumma 'Ansha'nā Min Ba`dihim Qurūnāan 'Ākharīna | 023-042* Then We raised up other generations after them. | ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قُرُونا ً آخَرِينَ |
| Mā Tasbiqu Min 'Ummatin 'Ajalahā Wa Mā Yasta'khirūna | 023-043* No nation may anticipate its deadline nor will they ever postpone it. | مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ |
| Thumma 'Arsalnā Rusulanā Tatrā ۖ Kulla Mā Jā'a 'Ummatan Rasūluhā Kadhdhabūhu ۚ Fa'atba`nā Ba`đahum Ba`đāan Wa Ja`alnāhum 'Aĥādītha ۚ Fabu`dāan Liqawmin Lā Yu'uminūna | 023-044* Then We sent Our messengers one after another. Each time its messenger came to some nation, they rejected him, so We followed some of them up with others and turned them into conversation pieces. Away with any folk who will not believe! Moses and Aaron | ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَا ۖ كُلَّ مَا جَاءَ أُمَّة ً رَسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوه ُ ۚ فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ بَعْضا ً وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ ۚ فَبُعْدا ً لِقَوْمٍ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Thumma 'Arsalnā Mūsá Wa 'Akhāhu Hārūna Bi'āyātinā Wa Sulţānin Mubīnin | 023-045* Next We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and clear authority | ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَى وَأَخَاه ُ هَارُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَسُلْطَانٍ مُبِين ٍ |
| 'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi Fāstakbarū Wa Kānū Qawmāan `Ālīna | 023-046* to Pharaoh and his courtiers, and they acted too proudly and were such haughty folk. | إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِه ِِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْما ً عَالِينَ |
| Faqālū 'Anu'uminu Libasharayni Mithlinā Wa Qawmuhumā Lanā `Ābidūna | 023-047* So they said: "Are we to believe in two human beings like ourselves while their people are slaving for us?" | فَقَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لِبَشَرَيْنِ مِثْلِنَا وَقَوْمُهُمَا لَنَا عَابِدُونَ |
| Fakadhdhabūhumā Fakānū Mina Al-Muhlakīna | 023-048* They rejected them both, and so eventually were wiped out. | فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُوا مِنَ الْمُهْلَكِينَ |
| Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Al-Kitāba La`allahum Yahtadūna | 023-049* Yet We had given Moses the Book so that they might be guided. Jesus and Mary | وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ |
| Wa Ja`alnā Abna Maryama Wa 'Ummahu 'Āyatan Wa 'Āwaynāhumā 'Ilá Rabwatin Dhāti Qarārin Wa Ma`īnin | 023-050* We set up the son of Mary and his mother as a sign, and sheltered them both on a hilltop where there was both lodging and a spring. (IV) | وَجَعَلْنَا ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ آيَة ً وَآوَيْنَاهُمَا إِلَى رَبْوَة ٍ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍ وَمَعِين ٍ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Ar-Rusulu Kulū Mina Aţ-Ţayyibāti Wa A`malū Şāliĥāan ۖ 'Innī Bimā Ta`malūna `Alīmun | 023-051* 0 messengers, eat wholesome things and act honorably; I am Aware of anything you do. | يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحا ً ۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ |
| Wa 'Inna Hadhihi 'Ummatukum 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Wa 'Anā Rabbukum Fa Attaqūni | 023-052* This nation of yours [forms] one community while I am your Lord, so heed me! | وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّة ً وَاحِدَة ً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاتَّقُونِ |
| Fataqaţţa`ū 'Amrahum Baynahum Zuburāan ۖ Kullu Ĥizbin Bimā Ladayhim Fariĥūna | 023-053* Yet they carve up their business into cartels among themselves, each faction happy with whatever lies before them. | فَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ زُبُرا ً ۖ كُلُّ حِزْب ٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ |
| Fadharhum Fī Ghamratihim Ĥattá Ĥīnin | 023-054* Leave them in their excitement for a while. | فَذَرْهُمْ فِي غَمْرَتِهِمْ حَتَّى حِين ٍ |
| 'Ayaĥsabūna 'Annamā Numidduhum Bihi Min Mālin Wa Banīna | 023-055* Do they reckon that We have only afforded them wealth and children because of it? | أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُمْ بِه ِِ مِنْ مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ |
| Nusāri`u Lahum Fī Al-Khayrāti ۚ Bal Lā Yash`urūna | 023-056* We hurry good things up for them, yet they do not even notice it! | نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ ۚ بَل لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ |
| 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Hum Min Khashyati Rabbihim Mushfiqūna | 023-057* Those who feel anxious out of awe for their Lord, | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Bi'āyāti Rabbihim Yu'uminūna | 023-058* and those who believe in their Lord's signs, | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Birabbihim Lā Yushrikūna | 023-059* and those who do not associate anything with their Lord, | وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ لاَ يُشْرِكُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna Yu'utūna Mā 'Ātaw Wa Qulūbuhum Wa Jilatun 'Annahum 'Ilá Rabbihim Rāji`ūna | 023-060* and those who give away anything they may give while their hearts feel wary lest they should return to their Lord | وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ رَاجِعُونَ |
| 'Ūlā'ika Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Khayrāti Wa Hum Lahā Sābiqūna | 023-061* [all] those compete in doing good deeds and they will soon attain them. | أُوْلَائِكَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ |
| Wa Lā Nukallifu Nafsāan 'Illā Wus`ahā ۖ Wa Ladaynā Kitābun Yanţiqu Bil-Ĥaqqi ۚ Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūn | 023-062* We only assign a soul something it can cope with. Before Us lies a Book which speaks up for Truth; they will not be dealt with unjustly. | وَلاَ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسا ً إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَلَدَيْنَا كِتَابٌ يَنطِقُ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُون |
| Bal Qulūbuhum Fī Ghamratin Min Hādhā Wa Lahum 'A`mālun Min Dūni Dhālika Hum Lahā `Āmilūna | 023-063* Instead their hearts are full of excitement because of this. They have other deeds besides those which they are committing, | بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ مِنْ هَذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَالٌ مِنْ دُونِ ذَلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ |
| Ĥattá 'Idhā 'Akhadhnā Mutrafīhim Bil-`Adhābi 'Idhā Hum Yaj'arūna | 023-064* so that whenever We seize their high-livers with torment, just imagine how they bellow! | حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذْنَا مُتْرَفِيهِمْ بِالْعَذَابِ إِذَا هُمْ يَجْأَرُونَ |
| Lā Taj'arū Al-Yawma ۖ 'Innakum Minnā Lā Tunşarūna | 023-065* "Do not roar [so loud] today; you will not be supported by Us. | لاَ تَجْأَرُوا الْيَوْمَ ۖ إِنَّكُمْ مِنَّا لاَ تُنصَرُونَ |
| Qad Kānat 'Āyātī Tutlá `Alaykum Fakuntum `Alá 'A`qābikum Tankişūna | 023-066* My signs have already been recited to you while you proudly turned on your heels | قَدْ كَانَتْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ تَنكِصُونَ |
| Mustakbirīna Bihi Sāmirāan Tahjurūna | 023-067* away from it, sitting up nights to chatter on and on about it." | مُسْتَكْبِرِينَ بِه ِِ سَامِرا ً تَهْجُرُونَ |
| 'Afalam Yaddabbarū Al-Qawla 'Am Jā'ahum Mā Lam Ya'ti 'Ābā'ahumu Al-'Awwalīna | 023-068* Have they not reflected on the Sentence, whether something that never reached their earliest forefathers may not have come to them? | أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَاءَهُمْ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِ آبَاءَهُمُ الأَوَّلِينَ |
| 'Am Lam Ya`rifū Rasūlahum Fahum Lahu Munkirūna | 023-069* Or do they not recognize their Messenger and are disgusted with him? | أَمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوا رَسُولَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَه ُ مُنكِرُونَ |
| 'Am Yaqūlūna Bihi Jinnatun ۚ Bal Jā'ahum Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Aktharuhum Lilĥaqqi Kārihūna | 023-070* Or do they say: "Some [mad] sprite possesses him!"? Rather he has brought them the Truth, while most of them hate the Truth. | أَمْ يَقُولُونَ بِه ِِ جِنَّةٌ ۚ بَلْ جَاءَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ |
| Wa Lawi Attaba`a Al-Ĥaqqu 'Ahwā'ahum Lafasadati As-Samāwātu Wa Al-'Arđu Wa Man Fīhinna ۚ Bal 'Ataynāhum Bidhikrihim Fahum `An Dhikrihim Mu`riđūna | 023-071* If Truth had followed their whims, Heaven and Earth would have collapsed in chaos, along with anyone who is in them. Rather We have brought them their Reminder, yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. | وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ ۚ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُمْ بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِمْ مُعْرِضُونَ |
| 'Am Tas'aluhum Kharjāan Fakharāju Rabbika Khayrun ۖ Wa Huwa Khayru Ar-Rāziqīna | 023-072* Or are you asking them [to make] some outlay'? Your Lord's tribute is best, for He is the Best Provider! | أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ خَرْجا ً فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ |
| Wa 'Innaka Latad`ūhum 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin | 023-073* You are calling them to [follow] a Straight Road | وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ |
| Wa 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bil-'Ākhirati `Ani Aş-Şirāţi Lanākibūna | 023-074* while those who do not believe in the Hereafter go swerving off the Road. | وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنَاكِبُونَ |
| Wa Law Raĥimnāhum Wa Kashafnā Mā Bihim Min Đurrin Lalajjū Fī Ţughyānihim Ya`mahūna | 023-075* Even if We showed them mercy and removed any trouble that worries them, they would still blindly persist in their arrogance. | وَلَوْ رَحِمْنَاهُمْ وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِمْ مِنْ ضُرٍّ لَلَجُّوا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ |
| Wa Laqad 'Akhadhnāhum Bil-`Adhābi Famā Astakānū Lirabbihim Wa Mā Yatađarra`ūna | 023-076* We had already seized them with torment yet they did not surrender to their Lord nor beseech [Him] | وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ |
| Ĥattá 'Idhā Fataĥnā `Alayhim Bābāan Dhā `Adhābin Shadīdin 'Idhā Hum Fīhi Mublisūna | 023-077* until just as We opened up a gate for them leading to severe torment, why they were dumbfounded by it! God's Presence (v) | حَتَّى إِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَابا ً ذَا عَذَاب ٍ شَدِيد ٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيه ِِ مُبْلِسُونَ |
| Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Ansha'a Lakumu As-Sam`a Wa Al-'Abşāra Wa Al-'Af'idata ۚ Qalīlāan Mā Tashkurūna | 023-078* He is the One Who has furnished you with hearing, eyesight and vital organs; yet how seldom are you grateful! | وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالأَبْصَارَ وَالأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلا ً مَا تَشْكُرُونَ |
| Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Dhara'akum Fī Al-'Arđi Wa 'Ilayhi Tuĥsharūna | 023-079* He is the One Who has scattered you over the earth, and to him shall you be summoned. | وَهُوَ الَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ |
| Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu Wa Lahu Akhtilāfu Al-Layli Wa An-Nahāri ۚ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna | 023-080* He is the One Who gives life and brings death; He controls the alternation between night and daylight. Will you not reason? | وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلاَفُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ۚ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ |
| Bal Qālū Mithla Mā Qāla Al-'Awwalūna | 023-081* Instead they say the same thing as the first men said; | بَلْ قَالُوا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ الأَوَّلُونَ |
| Qālū 'A'idhā Mitnā Wa Kunnā Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'A'innā Lamab`ūthūna | 023-082* they say: "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised UP again?" | قَالُوا أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاما ً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ |
| Laqad Wu`idnā Naĥnu Wa 'Ābā'uunā Hādhā Min Qablu 'In Hādhā 'Illā 'Asāţīru Al-'Awwalīna | 023-083* This was promised us and our forefathers long ago. These a only legends (made up] by primitive people!" | لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا هَذَا مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنْ هَذَا إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الأَوَّلِينَ |
| Qul Limani Al-'Arđu Wa Man Fīhā 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna | 023-084* SAY: "Who owns the earth and anyone on it, if you know [anything]?" | قُلْ لِمَنِ الأَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيهَا إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Sayaqūlūna Lillahi ۚ Qul 'Afalā Tadhakkarūna | 023-085* They will say : "It is God's." SAY: "Will you not bear it in mind?" | سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ أَفَلاَ تَذَكَّرُونَ |
| Qul Man Rabbu As-Samāwāti As-Sab`i Wa Rabbu Al-`Arshi Al-`Ažīmi | 023-086* SAY: "Who is Lord of the Seven Heavens and Lord of the splendid Throne?" | قُلْ مَنْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ |
| Sayaqūlūna Lillahi ۚ Qul 'Afalā Tattaqūna | 023-087* They will say: "They are God's." SAY: "Will you do not your duty [by Him]?" | سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ |
| Qul Man Biyadihi Malakūtu Kulli Shay'in Wa Huwa Yujīru Wa Lā Yujāru `Alayhi 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūn | 023-088* SAY: "In Whose hand lies sovereignty over everything? He protects, while against Him there is no protection, if you but realized it." | قُلْ مَنْ بِيَدِه ِِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلاَ يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُون |
| Sayaqūlūna Lillahi ۚ Qul Fa'annā Tusĥarūna | 023-089* They will say: "It is in God's." SAY: "How is it you act so bewildered?"' | سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ فَأَنَّا تُسْحَرُونَ |
| Bal 'Ataynāhum Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Innahum Lakādhibūna | 023-090* Rather We have brought them the Truth while they deny it | بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ |
| Mā Attakhadha Al-Lahu Min Waladin Wa Mā Kāna Ma`ahu Min 'Ilahin ۚ 'Idhāan Ladhahaba Kullu 'Ilahin Bimā Khalaqa Wa La`alā Ba`đuhum `Alá Ba`đin ۚ Subĥāna Al-Lahi `Ammā Yaşifūna | 023-091* God has not adopted any son, nor is there any [other] deity alongside Him, otherwise each god would carry off whatever it has created, and some of them would gain the upper hand over others. Glory be to God beyond what they describe! | مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِنْ وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَه ُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ~ٍ ۚ إِذا ً لَذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَه ٍٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ |
| `Ālimi Al-Ghaybi Wa Ash-Shahādati Fata`ālá `Ammā Yushrikūna | 023-092* Knower of the Unseen and the Visible: Exalted is He over anything they may associate [with Him)? (VI) | عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |
| Qul Rabbi 'Immā Turiyannī Mā Yū`adūna | 023-093* SAY: "My Lord, will you show me what they are threatened with? | قُلْ رَبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّي مَا يُوعَدُونَ |
| Rabbi Falā Taj`alnī Fī Al-Qawmi Až-Žālimīna | 023-094* My Lord, do not place me among such wrongdoing folk!" | رَبِّ فَلاَ تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Wa 'Innā `Alá 'An Nuriyaka Mā Na`iduhum Laqādirūna | 023-095* We are Able indeed to show you whatever We are threatening them with | وَإِنَّا عَلَى أَنْ نُرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَادِرُونَ |
| Adfa` Bi-Atī Hiya 'Aĥsanu As-Sayyi'ata ۚ Naĥnu 'A`lamu Bimā Yaşifūna | 023-096* Repay evil with something that is finer; We are quite Aware of anything they describe. | ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ ۚ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ |
| Wa Qul Rabbi 'A`ūdhu Bika Min Hamazāti Ash-Shayāţīni | 023-097* SAY: "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the devils promptings. | وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ |
| Wa 'A`ūdhu Bika Rabbi 'An Yaĥđurūni | 023-098* I seek refuge with you, my Lord, lest they accompany me, | وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ |
| Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'a 'Aĥadahumu Al-Mawtu Qāla Rabbi Arji`ūni | 023-099* since whenever death comes to any one of them, he says: "My Lord, send me back | حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ |
| La`allī 'A`malu Şāliĥāan Fīmā Taraktu ۚ Kallā ۚ 'Innahā Kalimatun Huwa Qā'iluhā ۖ Wa Min Warā'ihim Barzakhun 'Ilá Yawmi Yub`athūna | 023-100* so I may act honorably with anything I may have left behind"' The Last Trumpet Indeed not! It is merely a remark he is making. Beyond them there lies a barrier till the day when they will be raised up again. | لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحا ً فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ ۚ كَلاَّ ۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا ۖ وَمِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ |
| Fa'idhā Nufikha Fī Aş-Şūri Falā 'Ansāba Baynahum Yawma'idhin Wa Lā Yatasā'alūna | 023-101* Once the Trumpet is blown, no ties of kinship will exist between them on that day, nor may they question one another. | فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَلاَ أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلاَ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ |
| Faman Thaqulat Mawāzīnuhu Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna | 023-102* Those whose scales are heavy will be prosperous; | فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُه ُ فَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |
| Wa Man Khaffat Mawāzīnuhu Fa'ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Khasirū 'Anfusahum Fī Jahannama Khālidūna | 023-103* while those whose scales are light will be the ones who have lost their souls; they will remain in Hell. | وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُه ُ فَأُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ |
| Talfaĥu Wujūhahumu An-Nāru Wa Hum Fīhā Kāliĥūna | 023-104* The fire will scorch their faces while they will glower away in it. | تَلْفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَالِحُونَ |
| 'Alam Takun 'Āyātī Tutlá `Alaykum Fakuntum Bihā Tukadhdhibūna | 023-105* "Were My signs not recited to you as you (all) were rejecting them?" | أَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Qālū Rabbanā Ghalabat `Alaynā Shiqwatunā Wa Kunnā Qawmāan Đāllīna | 023-106* They will say: "Our Lord, our misery has overwhelmed us and we were errant folk. | قَالُوا رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْما ً ضَالِّينَ |
| Rabbanā 'Akhrijnā Minhā Fa'in `Udnā Fa'innā Žālimūna | 023-107* Our Lord, get us out of here! If we ever should return [to disobedience], then we would indeed be wrongdoers." | رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ |
| Qāla Akhsa'ū Fīhā Wa Lā Tukallimūni | 023-108* He will say: "Sink down into it, and never speak to Me! | قَالَ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا وَلاَ تُكَلِّمُونِ |
| 'Innahu Kāna Farīqun Min `Ibādī Yaqūlūna Rabbanā 'Āmannā Fāghfir Lanā Wa Arĥamnā Wa 'Anta Khayru Ar-Rāĥimīna | 023-109* A group of My servants used to say: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the Best One to show mercy!' | إِنَّه ُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ |
| Fāttakhadhtumūhum Sikhrīyāan Ĥattá 'Ansawkum Dhikrī Wa Kuntum Minhum Tađĥakūna | 023-110* You took them for a laughingstock until they made you forget to remember Me since you had been laughing so hard at them. | فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيّا ً حَتَّى أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُمْ مِنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ |
| 'Innī Jazaytuhumu Al-Yawma Bimā Şabarū 'Annahum Humu Al-Fā'izūna | 023-111* I have rewarded them today for how patient they have been; they are triumphant." Life is not Frivolous | إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ |
| Qāla Kam Labithtum Fī Al-'Arđi `Adada Sinīna | 023-112* He will say [further]: "How many years did you stay on earth?" | قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ |
| Qālū Labithnā Yawmāan 'Aw Ba`đa Yawmin Fās'ali Al-`Āddīna | 023-113* They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask the timekeepers." | قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْما ً أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْم ٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ |
| Qāla 'In Labithtum 'Illā Qalīlāan ۖ Law 'Annakum Kuntum Ta`lamūna | 023-114* He will say: "You only lasted a little while, if you only realized it. | قَالَ إِنْ لَبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلا ً ۖ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| 'Afaĥasibtum 'Annamā Khalaqnākum `Abathāan Wa 'Annakum 'Ilaynā Lā Turja`ūna | 023-115* Did you reckon We have created you just for fun and that you would never be returned to Us?" | أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثا ً وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لاَ تُرْجَعُونَ |
| Fata`ālá Al-Lahu Al-Maliku Al-Ĥaqqu ۖ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Rabbu Al-`Arshi Al-Karīmi | 023-116* Exalted is God, the true King! There is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne! | فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۖ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ |
| Wa Man Yad`u Ma`a Al-Lahi 'Ilahāan 'Ākhara Lā Burhāna Lahu Bihi Fa'innamā Ĥisābuhu `Inda Rabbihi ۚ 'Innahu Lā Yufliĥu Al-Kāfirūna | 023-117* Anyone who appeals to any other deity along with God (Himself), has no proof for it. His reckoning rests only with his Lord. Disbelievers will not succeed. | وَمَنْ يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَها ً آخَرَ لاَ بُرْهَانَ لَه ُ بِه ِِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُه ُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ |
| Wa Qul Rabbi Aghfir Wa Arĥam Wa 'Anta Khayru Ar-Rāĥimīna | 023-118* SAY: "My Lord, forgive and show mercy! You are the Best One to show mercy!" | وَقُلْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ |
