Qul 'Ū ĥiya 'Ilayya 'Ann ahu A stama`a Nafarun Mina A l-Jinn i Faqālū 'Inn ā Sami`nā Qur'ā nāan `Ajabāan
072-001. Say: It has been revealed to me that a party of the jinn listened, and they said: Surely we have heard a wonderful Quran,
Yahdī 'Ilá A r-Rush di Fa'ā mann ā Bihi Wa Lan Nush r ika Birabbinā 'Aĥadāan
072-002. Guiding to the right way, so we believe in it, and we will not set up any one with our Lord:
Wa 'Ann ahu Ta`ālá Jaddu Rabbinā Mā A ttakh adh a Şāĥibatan Wa Lā Waladāan
072-003. And that He-- exalted be the majesty of our Lord-- has not taken a consort, nor a son:
Wa 'Ann ahu Kā na Yaqū lu Safīhunā `Alá A ll ā hi Sh aţaţāan
072-004. And that the foolish amongst us used to forge extravagant things against Allah:
Wa 'Ann ā Žanann ā 'An Lan Taqū la A l-'In su Wa A l-Jinn u `Alá A ll ā hi Kadh ibāan
072-005. And that we thought that men and jinn did not utter a lie against Allah:
Wa 'Ann ahu Kā na R ijā lun Mina A l-'In si Ya`ūdh ū na Bir ijā lin Mina A l-Jinn i Fazādūhum Rahaqāan
072-006. And that persons from among men used to seek refuge with persons from among jinn, so they increased them in wrongdoing:
Wa 'Ann ahum Žann ū Kamā Žanan tum 'An Lan Yab `ath a A ll ā hu 'Aĥadāan
072-007. And that they thought as you think, that Allah would not raise anyone:
Wa 'Ann ā Lamasnā A s-Samā 'a Fawajad nāhā Muli'at Ĥarasāan Sh adīdāan Wa Sh uhubāan
072-008. And that we sought to reach heaven, but we found it filled with strong guards and flaming stars.
Wa 'Ann ā Kunn ā Naq `udu Minhā Maqā`ida Lilssam `i Faman Yastami`i A l-'Ā na Yajid Lahu Sh ihābāan Raşadāan
072-009. And that we used to sit in some of the sitting-places thereof to steal a hearing, but he who would (try to) listen now would find a flame lying in wait for him:
Wa 'Ann ā Lā Nad r ī 'Ash arrun 'Ur ī da Biman Fī A l-'Arđi 'Am 'Arā da Bihim Rabbuhum Rash adāan
072-010. And that we know not whether evil is meant for those who are on earth or whether their Lord means to bring them good:
Wa 'Ann ā Minn ā A ş-Şāliĥū na Wa Minn ā Dū na Dh ālika Kunn ā Ţarā 'iqa Qidadāan
072-011. And that some of us are good and others of us are below that: we are sects following different ways:
Wa 'Ann ā Žanann ā 'An Lan Nu`jiza A ll ā ha Fī A l-'Arđi Wa Lan Nu`jizahu Harabāan
072-012. And that we know that we cannot escape Allah in the earth, nor can we escape Him by flight:
Wa 'Ann ā Lamm ā Sami`nā A l-Hudá 'Ā mann ā Bihi Faman Yu'umin Birabbihi Falā Yakh ā fu Bakh sāan Wa Lā Rahaqāan
072-013. And that when we heard the guidance, we believed in it; so whoever believes in his Lord, he should neither fear loss nor being overtaken (by disgrace):
Wa 'Ann ā Minn ā A l-Muslimū na Wa Minn ā A l-Qāsiţū na Faman 'Aslama Fa'ū lā 'ika Taĥarraw Rash adāan
072-014. And that some of us are those who submit, and some of us are the deviators; so whoever submits, these aim at the right way:
Wa 'Amm ā A l-Qāsiţū na Fakānū Lijahann ama Ĥaţabāan
072-015. And as to the deviators, they are fuel of hell:
Wa 'Allawi A staqāmū `Alá A ţ -Ţar īqati L'asqaynāhum Mā 'an Gh adaqāan
072-016. And that if they should keep to the (right) way, We would certainly give them to drink of abundant water,
Linaftinahum Fī hi Wa Man Yu`r iđ `An Dh ikr i Rabbihi Yasluk/hu `Adh ābāan Şa`adāan
072-017. So that We might try them with respect to it; and whoever turns aside from the reminder of his Lord, He will make him enter into an afflicting chastisement:
Wa 'Ann a A l-Masājida Lill ā hi Falā Tad `ū Ma`a A ll ā hi 'Aĥadāan
072-018. And that the mosques are Allah's, therefore call not upon any one with Allah:
Wa 'Ann ahu Lamm ā Qā ma `Ab du A ll ā hi Yad `ū hu Kādū Yakūnū na `Alayhi Libadāan
072-019. And that when the servant of Allah stood up calling upon Him, they wellnigh crowded him (to death).
Qul 'Inn amā 'Ad `ū Rabbī Wa Lā 'Ush r iku Bihi 'Aĥadāan
072-020. Say: I only call upon my Lord, and I do not associate any one with Him.
Qul 'Inn ī Lā 'Am liku Lakum Đarrāan Wa Lā Rash adāan
072-021. Say: I do not control for you evil or good.
Qul 'Inn ī Lan Yujīranī Mina A ll ā hi 'Aĥadun Wa Lan 'Ajida Min Dūnihi Multaĥadāan
072-022. Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge:

072-023. (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time.

Ĥattá 'Idh ā Ra'aw Mā Yū`adū na Fasaya`lamū na Man 'Ađ`afu Nāşirāan Wa 'Aqallu `Adadāan
072-024. Until when they see what they are threatened with, then shall they know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number.
Qul 'In 'Ad r ī 'Aqar ī bun Mā Tū`adū na 'Am Yaj `alu Lahu Rabbī 'Amadāan
072-025. Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term:

072-026. The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any,

072-027. Except to him whom He chooses as an apostle; for surely He makes a guard to march before him and after him,
