Kitābun 'Unzila 'Ilayka Falā YakunŞadrika Ĥarajun Minhu Litundhira Bihi Wa Dhikrá Lilmu'uminīna 007-002. A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it-- that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers. كِت‍‍َ‍ابٌ ‌أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ فَلاَ‌ يَكُ‍‌‍نْ فِي صَ‍‍دْ‌رِكَ حَ‍رَجٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ لِتُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌ر‍َ‍‌ بِ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌ذِكْ‍رَ‌ى‌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Attabi`ū Mā 'Unzila 'Ilaykum Min Rabbikum Wa Lā Tattabi`ū Min Dūnihi~ 'Awliyā'a ۗ Qalīlāan Mā Tadhakkarūna 007-003. Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow guardians besides Him, how little do you mind. اتَّبِعُو‌ا‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَيْكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَتَّبِعُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ۗ قَ‍‍لِيلا‌ ً‌ مَا‌ تَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Wa Kam Min Qaryatin 'Ahlaknāhā Fajā'ahā Ba'sunā Bayātāan 'Aw Hum Qā'ilūna 007-004. And how many a town that We destroyed, so Our punishment came to it by night or while they slept at midday. وَكَمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌أَهْلَكْنَاهَا‌ فَج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهَا‌ بَأْسُنَا‌ بَيَاتاً‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ هُمْ قَ‍‍ائِلُونَ
Famā Kāna Da`wāhum 'Idh Jā'ahum Ba'sunā 'Illā 'An Qālū 'Innā Kunnā Žālimīna 007-005. Yet their cry, when Our punishment came to them, was nothing but that they said: Surely we were unjust. فَمَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ ‌دَعْوَ‌اهُمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ بَأْسُنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍الِمِينَ
Falanas'alanna Al-Ladhīna 'Ursila 'Ilayhim Wa Lanas'alanna Al-Mursalīna 007-006. Most certainly then We will question those to whom (the apostles) were sent, and most certainly We will also question the apostles; فَلَنَسْأَلَ‍‍نَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أُ‌رْسِلَ ‌إِلَيْهِمْ ‌وَلَنَسْأَلَ‍‍نَّ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Falanaquşşanna `Alayhim Bi`ilmin ۖ Wa Mā Kunnā Ghā'ibīna 007-007. Then most certainly We will relate to them with knowledge, and We were not absent. فَلَنَ‍‍قُ‍‍صَّ‍‍نَّ عَلَيْهِمْ بِعِلْمٍۖ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ غَ‍‍ائِبِينَ
Wa Al-Waznu Yawma'idhin Al-Ĥaqqu ۚ Faman Thaqulat Mawāzīnuhu Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna 007-008. And the measuring out on that day will be just; then as for him whose measure (of good deeds) is heavy, those are they who shall be successful; وَ‌الْوَ‌زْنُ يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ۚ فَمَ‍‌‍نْ ثَ‍‍قُ‍‍لَتْ مَوَ‌ا‌زِينُ‍‍هُ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Man Khaffat Mawāzīnuhu Fa'ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Khasirū 'Anfusahum Bimā Kānū Bi'āyātinā Yažlimūna 007-009. And as for him whose measure (of good deeds) is light those are they who have made their souls suffer loss because they disbelieved in Our communications. وَمَ‍‌‍نْ خَ‍‍فَّتْ مَوَ‌ا‌زِينُ‍‍هُ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ خَ‍‍سِرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ بِمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمُونَ
Wa Laqad Makkannākum Al-'Arđi Wa Ja`alnā Lakum Fīhā Ma`āyisha ۗ Qalīlāan Mā Tashkurūna 007-010. And certainly We have established you in the earth and made in it means of livelihood for you; little it is that you give thanks. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ مَكَّ‍‍نَّ‍‍اكُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ لَكُمْ فِيهَا‌ مَعَايِشَ ۗ قَ‍‍لِيلا‌ ً‌ مَا‌ تَشْكُرُ‌ونَ
Wa Laqad Khalaqnākum Thumma Şawwarnākum Thumma Qulnā Lilmalā'ikati Asjudū Li'dama Fasajadū 'Illā 'Iblīsa Lam Yakun Mina As-Sājidīna 007-011. And certainly We created you, then We fashioned you, then We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam. So they did obeisance except Iblis; he was not of those who did obeisance. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍نَاكُمْ ثُ‍‍مَّ صَ‍‍وَّ‌رْنَاكُمْ ثُ‍‍مَّ قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ ‌اسْجُدُ‌و‌ا‌ لِأ‌دَمَ فَسَجَدُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌إِبْ‍‍ل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍سَ لَمْ يَكُ‍‌‍نْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّاجِدِينَ
Qāla Mā Mana`aka 'Allā Tasjuda 'Idh 'Amartuka ۖ Qāla 'Anā Khayrun Minhu Khalaqtanī Min Nārin Wa Khalaqtahu Min Ţīnin 007-012. He said: What hindered you so that you did not make obeisance when I commanded you? He said: I am better than he: Thou hast created me of fire, while him Thou didst create of dust. قَ‍‍الَ مَا‌ مَنَعَكَ ‌أَلاَّ‌ تَسْجُدَ‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌أَمَرْتُكَ ۖ قَ‍‍الَ ‌أَنَا‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍تَنِي مِ‍‌‍نْ ن‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‌ٍ‌ ‌وَ‍خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍تَ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍نْ طِ‍‍ينٍ
Qāla Fāhbiţ Minhā Famā Yakūnu Laka 'An Tatakabbara Fīhā Fākhruj 'Innaka Mina Aş-Şāghirīna 007-013. He said: Then get forth from this (state), for it does not befit you to behave proudly therein. Go forth, therefore, surely you are of the abject ones. قَ‍‍الَ فَاهْبِ‍‍ط‍ْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ فَمَا‌ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لَكَ ‌أَ‌نْ تَتَكَبَّ‍رَ‌ فِيهَا‌ فَاخْ‍‍رُجْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍اغِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla 'Anžirnī 'Ilá Yawmi Yub`athūna 007-014. He said: Respite me until the day when they are raised up. قَ‍‍الَ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍ظِ‍‍رْنِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَى‌ يَ‍‍وْمِ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍عَثُونَ
Qāla 'Innaka Mina Al-Munžarīna 007-015. He said: Surely you are of the respited ones. قَ‍‍الَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظَ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Fabimā 'Aghwaytanī La'aq`udanna Lahum Şirāţaka Al-Mustaqīma 007-016. He said: As Thou hast caused me to remain disappointed I will certainly lie in wait for them in Thy straight path. قَ‍‍الَ فَبِمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍‍وَيْتَنِي لَأَ‍قْ‍‍عُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِ‍رَ‌اطَ‍‍كَ ‌الْمُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمَ
Thumma La'ātiyannahum Min Bayni 'Aydīhim Wa Min Khalfihim Wa `An 'Aymānihim Wa `An Shamā'ilihim ۖ Wa Lā Tajidu 'Aktharahum Shākirīna 007-017. Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and Thou shalt not find most of them thankful. ثُ‍‍مَّ لَآتِيَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ خَ‍‍لْفِهِمْ ‌وَعَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَيْمَانِهِمْ ‌وَعَ‍‌‍نْ شَم‍‍َ‍ائِلِهِمْ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَجِدُ‌ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَهُمْ شَاكِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Akhruj Minhā Madh'ūmāan Madĥūan ۖ Laman Tabi`aka Minhum La'amla'anna Jahannama Minkum 'Ajma`īna 007-018. He said: Get out of this (state), despised, driven away; whoever of them will follow you, I will certainly fill hell with you all. قَ‍‍الَ ‌اخْ‍‍رُجْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مَذْ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وما‌ ً‌ مَ‍‍دْحُو‌ر‌ا‌ ًۖ لَمَ‍‌‍نْ تَبِعَكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Wa Yā'ādamu Askun 'Anta Wa Zawjuka Al-Jannata Fakulā Min Ĥaythu Shi'tumā Wa Lā Taqrabā Hadhihi Ash-Shajarata Fatakūnā Mina Až-Žālimīna 007-019. And (We said): O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the garden; so eat from where you desire, but do not go near this tree, for then you will be of the unjust. وَيَا‌آ‌دَمُ ‌اسْكُ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌وَ‌زَ‌وْجُكَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةَ فَكُلاَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ حَ‍‍يْ‍‍ثُ شِئْتُمَا‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍رَبَا‌ هَذِهِ ‌ال‍‍شَّجَ‍رَةَ فَتَكُونَا‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Fawaswasa Lahumā Ash-Shayţānu Liyubdiya Lahumā Mā Wūriya `Anhumā Min Saw'ātihimā Wa Qāla Mā Nahākumā Rabbukumā `An Hadhihi Ash-Shajarati 'Illā 'An Takūnā Malakayni 'Aw Takūnā Mina Al-Khālidīna 007-020. But the Shaitan made an evil suggestion to them that he might make manifest to them what had been hidden from them of their evil inclinations, and he said: Your Lord has not forbidden you this tree except that you may not both become two angels or that you may (not) become of the immortals. فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انُ لِيُ‍‍بْ‍‍دِيَ لَهُمَا‌ مَا‌ ‌وُ‌و‌رِيَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ سَوْ‌آتِهِمَا‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ مَا‌ نَهَاكُمَا‌ ‌‍رَبُّكُمَا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ هَذِهِ ‌ال‍‍شَّجَ‍رَةِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تَكُونَا‌ مَلَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَكُونَا‌ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍الِدِينَ
Wa Qāsamahumā 'Innī Lakumā Lamina An-Nāşīna 007-021. And he swore to them both: Most surely I am a sincere adviser to you. وَ‍قَ‍‍اسَمَهُمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكُمَا‌ لَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍اصِ‍‍حِينَ
Fadallāhumā Bighurūrin ۚ Falammā Dhāqā Ash-Shajarata Badat Lahumā Saw'ātuhumā Wa Ţafiqā Yakhşifāni `Alayhimā Min Waraqi Al-Jannati ۖ Wa Nādāhumā Rabbuhumā 'Alam 'Anhakumā `An Tilkumā Ash-Shajarati Wa 'Aqul Lakumā 'Inna Ash-Shayţāna Lakumā `Adūwun Mubīnun 007-022. Then he caused them to fall by deceit; so when they tasted of the tree, their evil inclinations became manifest to them, and they both began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden; and their Lord called out to them: Did I not forbid you both from that tree and say to you that the Shaitan is your open enemy? فَدَلاَّهُمَا‌ بِ‍‍غُ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌و‌ر‌‌ٍۚ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ذَ‌اقَ‍‍ا‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّجَ‍رَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا‌ سَوْ‌آتُهُمَا‌ ‌وَ‍طَ‍‍فِ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍صِ‍‍ف‍‍َ‍انِ عَلَيْهِمَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌وَ‌‍رَقِ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ۖ ‌وَنَا‌دَ‌اهُمَا‌ ‌‍رَبُّهُمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَلَمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍هَكُمَا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ تِلْكُمَا‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّجَ‍رَةِ ‌وَ‌أَ‍قُ‍‍لْ لَكُمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِنَّ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انَ لَكُمَا‌ عَدُ‌وّ‌ٌ‌ مُبِينٌ
Qālā Rabbanā Žalamnā 'Anfusanā Wa 'In Lam Taghfir Lanā Wa Tarĥamnā Lanakūnanna Mina Al-Khāsirīna 007-023. They said: Our Lord! We have been unjust to ourselves, and if Thou forgive us not, and have (not) mercy on us, we shall certainly be of the losers. قَ‍‍الاَ‌ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ ظَ‍‍لَمْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَنَا‌ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ لَمْ تَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رْ‌ لَنَا‌ ‌وَتَرْحَمْنَا‌ لَنَكُونَ‍‍نَّ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Ahbiţū Ba`đukum Liba`đin `Adūwun ۖ Wa Lakum Al-'Arđi Mustaqarrun Wa Matā`un 'Ilá Ĥīnin 007-024. He said: Get forth, some of you, the enemies of others, and there is for you in the earth an abode and a provision for a time. قَ‍‍الَ ‌اهْبِ‍‍طُ‍‍و‌ا‌ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍كُمْ لِبَعْ‍‍ضٍ عَدُ‌وّ‌ٌۖ ‌وَلَكُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ مُسْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍رّ‌ٌ‌ ‌وَمَت‍‍َ‍اع‌‍ٌ‌ ‌إِلَى‌ حِينٍ
Qāla Fīhā Taĥyawna Wa Fīhā Tamūtūna Wa Minhā Tukhrajūna 007-025. He (also) said: Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die, and from it shall you be raised. قَ‍‍الَ فِيهَا‌ تَحْيَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَفِيهَا‌ تَمُوت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ تُ‍‍خْ‍رَجُونَ
Yā Banī 'Ādama Qad 'Anzalnā `Alaykum Libāsāan Yuwārī Saw''ātikum Wa Rīshāan ۖ Wa Libāsu At-TaqDhālika Khayrun ۚ Dhālika Min 'Āyā Ti Allāhi La`allahum Yadhdhakkarūna 007-026. O children of Adam! We have indeed sent down to you clothing to cover your shame, and (clothing) for beauty and clothing that guards (against evil), that is the best. This is of the communications of Allah that they may be mindful. يَابَنِ‍‍ي ‌آ‌دَمَ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسا‌ ً‌ يُوَ‌ا‌رِي سَ‍‍وْ‌ء‌آتِكُمْ ‌وَ‌رِيشا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلِب‍‍َ‍اسُ ۖ ‌ال‍‍تَّ‍‍قْ‍‍وَ‌ى‌ ‌ذَلِكَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌‌ٌ‌ ‌ذَلِكَ ۚ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌آي‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُ‌ونَ
Yā Banī 'Ādama Lā Yaftinannakumu Ash-Shayţānu Kamā 'Akhraja 'Abawaykum Mina Al-Jannati Yanzi`u `Anhumā Libāsahumā Liyuriyahumā Saw''ātihimā ۗ 'Innahu Yakum Huwa Wa Qabīluhu Min Ĥaythu Lā Tarawnahum ۗ 'Innā Ja`alnā Ash-Shayā Ţīna 'Awliyā 'A Lilladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna 007-027. O children of Adam! let not the Shaitan cause you to fall into affliction as he expelled your parents from the garden, pulling off from them both their clothing that he might show them their evil inclinations, he surely sees you, he as well as his host, from whence you cannot see them; surely We have made the Shaitans to be the guardians of those who do not believe. يَابَنِ‍‍ي ‌آ‌دَمَ لاَ‌ يَفْتِنَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كُمُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انُ كَمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‍خْ‍رَجَ ‌أَبَوَيْكُمْ مِنَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍زِعُ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَا‌ لِبَاسَهُمَا‌ لِيُ‍‍رِيَهُمَا‌ سَ‍‍وْ‌ء‌آتِهِمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ۗ يَ‍رَ‌اكُمْ هُوَ‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍بِيلُ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍نْ حَ‍‍يْ‍‍ثُ لاَ‌ تَ‍رَ‌وْنَهُمْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ ۗ جَعَلْنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّيَاطِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Fa`alū Fāĥishatan Qālū Wajadnā `Alayhā 'Ābā'anā Wa Allāhu 'Amaranā Bihā ۗ Qul 'Inna Allāha Lā Ya'muru Bil-Faĥshā'i ۖ 'Ataqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Mā Lā Ta`lamūna 007-028. And when they commit an indecency they say: We found our fathers doing this, and Allah has enjoined it on us. Say: Surely Allah does not enjoin indecency; do you say against Allah what you do not know? وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ فَعَلُو‌ا‌ فَاحِشَة‌ ًقَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَا‌ عَلَيْهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَنَا‌ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌أَمَ‍رَنَا‌ بِهَا‌ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يَأْمُرُ‌ بِ‍الْفَحْش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءِ‌ ۖ ‌أَتَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
Qul 'Amara Rabbī Bil-Qisţi ۖ Wa 'Aqīmū Wujūhakum `Inda Kulli Masjidin Wa Ad`ūhu Mukhlişīna Lahu Ad-Dīna ۚ Kamā Bada'akum Ta`ūdūna 007-029. Say: My Lord has enjoined justice, and set upright your faces at every time of prayer and call on Him, being sincere to Him in obedience; as He brought you forth in the beginning, so shall you also return. قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَمَ‍رَ‌ ‌‍رَبِّي بِ‍الْ‍‍قِ‍‍سْ‍‍طِ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‍قِ‍‍يمُو‌ا‌ ‌وُجُوهَكُمْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ كُلِّ مَسْجِد‌ٍ‌ ‌وَ‌ا‌دْع‍‍ُ‍وهُ مُ‍‍خْ‍‍لِ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ لَهُ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ۚ كَمَا‌ بَدَ‌أَكُمْ تَعُو‌دُ‌ونَ
Farīqāan Hadá Wa Farīqāan Ĥaqqa `Alayhimu Ađ-Đalālatu ۗ 'Innahumu Attakhadhū Ash-Shayāţīna 'Awliyā'a Min Dūni Allāhi Wa Yaĥsabūna 'Annahum Muhtadūna 007-030. A part has He guided aright and (as for another) part, error is justly their due, surely they took the Shaitans for guardians beside Allah, and they think that they are followers of the right فَ‍‍رِي‍‍ق‍‍اً‌ هَدَ‌ى‌ ‌وَفَ‍‍رِي‍‍ق‍‍اً‌ حَ‍‍قَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍لاَلَةُ ۗ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمُ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌و‌ا‌ال‍‍شَّيَاطِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ مُهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Yā Banī 'Ādama Khudhū Zīnatakum `Inda Kulli Masjidin Wa Kulū Wa Ashrabū Wa Lā Tusrifū ۚ 'Innahu Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Musrifīna 007-031. O children of Adam! attend to your embellishments at every time of prayer, and eat and drink and be not extravagant; surely He does not love the extravagant. يَابَنِ‍‍ي ‌آ‌دَمَ خُ‍‍ذُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌زِينَتَكُمْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ كُلِّ مَسْجِد‌ٍ‌ ‌وَكُلُو‌ا‌ ‌وَ‌اشْ‍رَبُو‌ا‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُسْ‍‍رِفُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ۚ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُسْ‍‍رِفِينَ
Qul Man Ĥarrama Zīnata Allāhi Allatī 'Akhraja Li`ibādihi Wa Aţ-Ţayyibāti Mina Ar-Rizqi ۚ Qul Hiya Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-DunKhālişatan Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ Kadhālika Nufaşşilu Al-'Āyāti Liqawmin Ya`lamūna 007-032. Say: Who has prohibited the embellishment of Allah which He has brought forth for His servants and the good provisions? Say: These are for the believers in the life of this world, purely (theirs) on the resurrection day; thus do We make the communications clear for a people who know. قُ‍‍لْ مَ‍‌‍نْ حَ‍رَّمَ ‌زِينَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خْ‍رَجَ لِعِبَا‌دِهِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍َ‍اتِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍رِّ‌زْ‍قِ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ هِيَ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُو‌ا‌ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َ‍اةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ خَ‍‍الِ‍‍صَ‍‍ة ً‌ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ۗ كَذَلِكَ نُفَ‍‍صِّ‍‍لُ ‌الآي‍‍َ‍اتِ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Qul 'Innamā Ĥarrama Rabbiya Al-Fawāĥisha Mā Žahara Minhā Wa Mā Baţana Wa Al-'Ithma Wa Al-Baghya Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa 'An Tushrikū Billāhi Mā Lam Yunazzil Bihi Sulţānāan Wa 'An Taqūlū `Alá Allāhi Mā Lā Ta`lamūna 007-033. Say: My Lord has only prohibited indecencies, those of them that are apparent as well as those that are concealed, and sin and rebellion without justice, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down any authority, and that you say against Allah what you do not know. قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ حَ‍رَّمَ ‌‍رَبِّيَ ‌الْفَوَ‌احِشَ مَا‌ ظَ‍‍هَ‍رَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ‌وَمَا‌ بَ‍‍طَ‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الإِثْمَ ‌وَ‌الْبَ‍‍غْ‍‍يَ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ تُشْ‍‍رِكُو‌ا‌ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِ‍‍هِ سُلْ‍‍طَ‍‍انا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُو‌ا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Likulli 'Ummatin 'Ajalun ۖ Fa'idhā Jā'a 'Ajaluhum Lā Yasta'khirūna Sā`atan ۖ Wa Lā Yastaqdimūna 007-034. And for every nation there is a doom, so when their doom is come they shall not remain behind the least while, nor shall they go before. وَلِكُلِّ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ ‌أَجَل‌‍ٌۖ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌أَجَلُهُمْ لاَ‌ يَسْتَأْ‍خِ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ سَاعَة ًۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍قْ‍‍دِمُونَ
Yā Banī 'Ādama 'Immā Ya'tiyannakum Rusulun Minkum Yaquşşūna `Alaykum 'Āyā ۙ Tī Famani Attaqá Wa 'Aşlaĥa Falā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna 007-035. O children of Adam! if there come to you apostles from among you relating to you My communications, then whoever shall guard (against evil) and act aright-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve. يَابَنِ‍‍ي ‌آ‌دَمَ ‌إِمَّ‍‍ا‌ يَأْتِيَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌رُسُلٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍صُّ‍‍ونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌آيَاتِي فَمَنِ ۙ ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍لَحَ فَلاَ‌ خَ‍‍وْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Wa Astakbarū `Anhā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri ۖ Hum Fīhā Khālidūna 007-036. And (as for) those who reject Our communications and turn away from them haughtily-- these are the inmates of the fire they shall abide in it. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌و‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Faman 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan 'Aw Kadhdhaba Bi'āyātihi~ ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Yanāluhum Naşībuhum Mina Al-Kitābi ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'at/hum Rusulunā Yatawaffawnahum Qālū 'Ayna Mā Kuntum Tad`ūna Min Dūni Allāhi ۖ Qālū Đallū `Annā Wa Shahidū `Alá 'Anfusihim 'Annahum Kānū Kāfirīna 007-037. Who is then more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or rejects His communications? (As for) those, their portion of the Book shall reach them, until when Our messengers come to them causing them to die, they shall say: Where is that which you used to call upon besides Allah? They would say: They are gone away from us; and they shall bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers فَمَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‍ظْ‍‍لَمُ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍نِ ‌افْتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كَذِباً‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ ۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ يَنَالُهُمْ نَ‍‍صِ‍‍يبُهُمْ مِنَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابِ ۖ حَتَّ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْهُمْ ‌رُسُلُنَا‌ يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَيْ‍‍نَ مَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ قَ‍‍الُو‌اضَ‍‍لُّو‌ا‌ عَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌وَشَهِدُ‌و‌ا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِهِمْ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُو‌ا‌ كَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Adkhulū Fī 'Umamin Qad Khalat Min Qablikum Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi Fī An-Nāri ۖ Kullamā Dakhalat 'Ummatun La`anat 'Ukhtahā ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā Addārakū Fīhā Jamī`āan Qālat 'Ukhhum Li'wlāhum Rabbanā Hā'uulā' 'Ađallūnā Fa'ātihim `Adhābāan Đi`fāan Mina An-Nāri ۖ Qāla Likullin Đi`fun Wa Lakin Lā Ta`lamūna 007-038. He will say: Enter into fire among the nations that have passed away before you from among jinn and men; whenever a nation shall enter, it shall curse its sister, until when they have all come up with one another into it; the last of them shall say with regard to the foremost of them: Our Lord! these led us astray therefore give them a double chastisement of the fire. He will say: Every one shall have double but you do not know. قَ‍‍الَ ‌ا‌دْ‍‍خُ‍‍لُو‌ا‌ فِ‍‍ي ‌أُمَم‌‍ٍقَ‍‍دْ‌ خَ‍‍لَتْ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكُمْ مِنَ ‌الْجِ‍‍نِّ ‌وَ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍سِ فِي ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ۖ كُلَّمَا‌ ‌دَ‍خَ‍‍لَتْ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ة ٌ‌ لَعَنَتْ ‌أُ‍خْ‍‍تَهَا‌ ۖ حَتَّ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌ا‌دَّ‌ا‌‍رَكُو‌ا‌ فِيهَا‌ جَمِيعا‌‌ ًقَ‍‍الَتْ ‌أُ‍خْ‍رَ‌اهُمْ لِأ‌ولاَهُمْ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ ه‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ ‌أَ‍ضَ‍‍لُّونَا‌ فَآتِهِمْ عَذَ‌ابا‌‌ ًضِ‍‍عْفا‌ ً‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ۖ قَ‍‍الَ لِكُلّ‌‍ٍضِ‍‍عْفٌ‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍نْ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Qālat 'Ūlāhum Li'khhum Famā Kāna Lakum `Alaynā Min Fađlin Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Taksibūna 007-039. And the foremost of them will say to the last of them: So you have no preference over us; therefore taste the chastisement for what you earned. وَ‍قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌ولاَهُمْ لِأخْ‍رَ‌اهُمْ فَمَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍ل‌‍ٍ‌ فَذُ‌وقُ‍‍و‌ا‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ بِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Wa Astakbarū `Anhā Lā Tufattaĥu Lahum 'Abwābu As-Samā'i Wa Lā Yadkhulūna Al-Jannata Ĥattá Yalija Al-Jamalu Fī Sammi Al-Khiyāţi ۚ Wa Kadhalika Naj Al-Mujrimīna 007-040. Surely (as for) those who reject Our communications and turn away from them haughtily, the doors of heaven shall not be opened for them, nor shall they enter the garden until the camel pass through the eye of the needle; and thus do We reward the guilty. إِنَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌و‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ لاَ‌ تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ ‌أَبْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌ابُ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءِ‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍دْ‍‍خُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةَ حَتَّى‌ يَلِجَ ‌الْجَمَلُ فِي سَ‍‍مِّ ‌الْ‍‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍َ‍اطِ ۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمِينَ
Lahum Min Jahannama Mihādun Wa Min Fawqihim Ghawāshin ۚ Wa Kadhalika Naj Až-Žālimīna 007-041. They shall have a bed of hell-fire and from above them coverings (of it); and thus do We reward the unjust. لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ مِه‍‍َ‍ا‌د‌ٌ‌ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ فَوْ‍قِ‍‍هِمْ غَ‍‍و‍َ‍‌اشٍۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lā Nukallifu Nafsāan 'Illā Wus`ahā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jannati ۖ Hum Fīhā Khālidūna 007-042. And (as for) those who believe and do good We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability-- they are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُو‌ا‌ ‌وَعَمِلُو‌ا‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َ‍اتِ لاَ‌ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌وُسْعَهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابُ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Wa Naza`nā Mā Fī Şudūrihim Min Ghillin Tajrī Min Taĥtihimu Al-'Anhāru ۖ Wa Qālū Al-Ĥamdu Lillāh Al-Ladhī Hadānā Lihadhā Wa Mā Kunnā Linahtadiya Lawlā 'An Hadānā Al-Lahu ۖ Laqad Jā'at Rusulu Rabbinā Bil-Ĥaqqi ۖ Wa Nūdū 'An Tilkumu Al-Jannatu 'Ūrithtumūhā Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna 007-043. And We will remove whatever of ill-feeling is in their breasts; the rivers shall flow beneath them and they shall say: All praise is due to Allah Who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been that Allah had guided us; certainly the apostles of our Lord brought the truth; and it shall be cried out to them that this is the garden of which you are made heirs for what you did. وَنَزَعْنَا‌ مَا‌ فِي صُ‍‍دُ‌و‌رِهِمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ غِ‍‍لّ‌‍ٍ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍نْ تَحْتِهِمُ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َ‍ا‌رُ‌ ۖ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌الْحَمْدُ‌ لِلَّهِ ‌الَّذِي هَدَ‌انَا‌ لِهَذَ‌ا‌ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ هَدَ‌انَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ ۖ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْ ‌رُسُلُ ‌‍رَبِّنَا‌ بِ‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ ۖ ‌وَنُو‌دُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تِلْكُمُ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةُ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌و‌رِثْتُمُوهَا‌ بِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Nādá 'Aşĥābu Al-Jannati 'Aşĥāba An-Nāri 'An Qad Wajadnā Mā Wa`adanā Rabbunā Ĥaqqāan Fahal Wajadtum Mā Wa`ada Rabbukum Ĥaqqāan ۖ Qālū Na`am ۚ Fa'adhdhana Mu'uadhdhinun Baynahum 'An La`natu Allāhi `Alá Až-Žālimīna 007-044. And the dwellers of the garden will call out to the inmates of the fire: Surely we have found what our Lord promised us to be true; have you too found what your Lord promised to be true? They will say: Yes. Then a crier will cry out among them that the curse of Allah is on the unjust. وَنَا‌دَ‌ى‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابُ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌أَ‌نْ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَا‌ مَا‌ ‌وَعَدَنَا‌ ‌‍رَبُّنَا‌ حَ‍‍قّ‍‍ا‌‌ ً‌ فَهَلْ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْتُمْ مَا‌ ‌وَعَدَ‌ ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ حَ‍‍قّ‍‍ا‌‌ ًۖ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ نَعَمْ ۚ فَأَ‌ذَّنَ مُؤَ‌ذِّن‌‍ٌ‌ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ لَعْنَةُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Al-Ladhīna Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Yabghūnahā `Iwajāan Wa Hum Bil-'Ākhirati Kāfirūna 007-045. Who hinder (people) from Allah's way and seek to make it crooked, and they are disbelievers in the hereafter. الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍صُ‍‍دّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍‌‍نْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍ونَهَا‌ عِوَجا‌ ً‌ ‌وَهُمْ بِ‍الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ كَافِرُ‌ونَ
Wa Baynahumā Ĥijābun ۚ Wa `Alá Al-'A`rāfi Rijālun Ya`rifūna Kullāan Bisīmāhum ۚ Wa Nādaw 'Aşĥāba Al-Jannati 'An Salāmun `Alaykum ۚ Lam Yadkhulūhā Wa Hum Yaţma`ūna 007-046. And between the two there shall be a veil, and on the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks, and they shall call out to the dwellers of the garden: Peace be on you; they shall not have yet entered it, though they hope. وَبَيْنَهُمَا‌ حِج‍‍َ‍ابٌۚ ‌وَعَلَى‌ ‌الأَعرَ‍‌افِ ‌رِج‍‍َ‍الٌ‌ يَعْ‍‍رِف‍‍ُ‍ونَ كُلاّ‌ ً‌ بِسِيمَاهُمْ ۚ ‌وَنَا‌دَ‌وْ‌ا‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ‌أَ‌نْ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ لَمْ يَ‍‍دْ‍‍خُ‍‍لُوهَا‌ ‌وَهُمْ يَ‍‍طْ‍‍مَعُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Şurifat 'Abşāruhum Tilqā'a 'Aşĥābi An-Nāri Qālū Rabbanā Lā Taj`alnā Ma`a Al-Qawmi Až-Žālimīna 007-047. And when their eyes shall be turned towards the inmates of the fire, they shall say: Our Lord! place us not with the unjust وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ صُ‍‍رِفَتْ ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رُهُمْ تِلْ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلْنَا‌ مَعَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Nādá 'Aşĥābu Al-'A`rāfi Rijālāan Ya`rifūnahum Bisīmāhum Qālū Mā 'Aghná `Ankum Jam`ukum Wa Mā Kuntum Tastakbirūna 007-048. And the dwellers of the most elevated places shall ca!l out to men whom they will recognize by their marks saying: Of no avail were to you your amassings and your behaving haughtily: وَنَا‌دَ‌ى‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابُ ‌الأَعرَ‍‌افِ ‌رِجَالا‌ ً‌ يَعْ‍‍رِفُونَهُمْ بِسِيمَاهُمْ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍‍نَى‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُ‌ونَ
'Ahā'uulā' Al-Ladhīna 'Aqsamtum Lā Yanāluhumu Allāhu Biraĥmatin ۚ Adkhulū Al-Jannata Lā Khawfun `Alaykum Wa Lā 'Antum Taĥzanūna 007-049. Are these they about whom you swore that Allah will not bestow mercy on them? Enter the garden; you shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve. أَه‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍سَمْتُمْ لاَ‌ يَنَالُهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِ‍رَحْمَة‌‍ٍۚ ‌ا‌دْ‍‍خُ‍‍لُو‌ا‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةَ لاَ‌ خَ‍‍وْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
Wa Nādá 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri 'Aşĥāba Al-Jannati 'An 'Afīđū `Alaynā Mina Al-Mā'i 'Aw Mimmā Razaqakumu Allāhu ۚ Qālū 'Inna Allāha Ĥarramahumā `Alá Al-Kāfirīna 007-050. And the inmates of the fire shall call out to the dwellers of the garden, saying: Pour on us some water or of that which Allah has given you. They shall say: Surely Allah has prohibited them both to the unbelievers. وَنَا‌دَ‌ى‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍ابَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أَفِي‍‍ضُ‍‍و‌ا‌ عَلَيْنَا‌ مِنَ ‌الْم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءِ‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌‍رَ‌زَ‍قَ‍‍كُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۚ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ حَ‍رَّمَهُمَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Dīnahum Lahwan Wa La`ibāan Wa Gharrat/humu Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunۚ Fālyawma Nansāhum Kamā Nasū Liqā'a Yawmihimdhā Wa Mā Kānū Bi'āyātinā Yajĥadūna 007-051. Who take their religion for an idle sport and a play and this life's world deceives them; so today We forsake them, as they neglected the meeting of this day of theirs and as they denied Our communications. الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌دِينَهُمْ لَهْو‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلَعِبا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‍‍غَ‍رَّتْهُمُ ‌الْحَي‍‍َ‍اةُ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۚ فَالْيَ‍‍وْمَ نَ‍‌‍ن‍‍سَاهُمْ كَمَا‌ نَسُو‌ا‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ءَ‌ يَوْمِهِمْ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌وَمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍حَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Laqad Ji'nāhum Bikitābin Faşşalnāhu `Alá `Ilmin Hudan Wa Raĥmatan Liqawmin Yu'uminūna 007-052. And certainly We have brought them a Book which We have made clear with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْنَاهُمْ بِكِت‍‍َ‍اب‌‍ٍ‌ فَ‍‍صَّ‍‍لْن‍‍َ‍اهُ عَلَى‌ عِلْمٍ هُ‍‍د‌ى‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَة ً‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Hal Yanžurūna 'Illā Ta'wīlahu ۚ Yawma Ya'tī Ta'wīluhu Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Nasūhu Min Qablu Qad Jā'at Rusulu Rabbinā Bil-Ĥaqqi Fahal Lanā Min Shufa`ā'a Fayashfa`ū Lanā 'Aw Nuraddu Fana`mala Ghayra Al-Ladhī Kunnā Na`malu ۚ Qad Khasirū 'Anfusahum Wa Đalla `Anhum Mā Kānū Yaftarūna 007-053. Do they wait for aught but its final sequel? On the day when its final sequel comes about, those who neglected it before will say: Indeed the apostles of our Lord brought the truth; are there for us then any intercessors so that they should intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back so that we should do (deeds) other than those which we did? Indeed they have lost their souls and that which they forged has gone away from them. هَلْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظُ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ تَأْ‌وِيلَ‍‍هُ ۚ يَ‍‍وْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْ‌وِيلُ‍‍هُ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ نَس‍‍ُ‍وهُ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْ ‌رُسُلُ ‌‍رَبِّنَا‌ بِ‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ فَهَلْ لَنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ شُفَع‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ فَيَشْفَعُو‌ا‌ لَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ نُ‍رَ‌دُّ‌ فَنَعْمَلَ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌الَّذِي كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ نَعْمَلُ ۚ قَ‍‍دْ‌ خَ‍‍سِرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ ‌وَ‍ضَ‍‍لَّ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَفْتَرُ‌ونَ
'Inna Rabbakumu Allāhu Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Fī Sittati 'Ayyāmin Thumma Astawá `Alá Al-`Arshi Yughshī Al-Layla An-Nahāra Yaţlubuhu Ĥathīthāan Wa Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Wa An-Nujūma Musakhkharātin Bi'amrihi~ ۗ 'Alā Lahu Al-Khalqu Wa Al-'Amru ۗ Tabāraka Allāhu Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna 007-054. Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time, and He is firm in power; He throws the veil of night over the day, which it pursues incessantly; and (He created) the sun and the moon and the stars, made subservient by His command; surely His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. إِنَّ ‌‍رَبَّكُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضَ فِي سِتَّةِ ‌أَيّ‍‍َ‍ام‌‍ٍ‌ ثُ‍‍مَّ ‌اسْتَوَ‌ى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَرْشِ يُ‍‍غْ‍‍شِي ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َ‍ا‌‍رَ‌ يَ‍‍طْ‍‍لُبُ‍‍هُ حَثِيثا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَ‍رَ‌ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نُّ‍‍ج‍‍ُ‍ومَ مُسَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‍‌ات ٍ‌ بِأَمْ‍‍رِهِ ۗ ‌أَلاَ‌ لَهُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قُ ‌وَ‌الأَمْرُ‌ ۗ تَبَا‌‍رَكَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌‍رَبُّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
AdRabbakum Tađarru`āan Wa Khufyatan ۚ 'Innahu Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Mu`tadīna 007-055. Call on your Lord humbly and secretly; surely He does not love those who exceed the limits. ‍ا‌دْعُو‌ا‌ ‌‍رَبَّكُمْ تَ‍‍ضَ‍‍رُّعا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‍خُ‍‍فْيَة‌ ًۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُعْتَدِينَ
Wa Lā Tufsidū Fī Al-'Arđi Ba`da 'Işlāĥihā Wa Ad`ūhu Khawfāan Wa Ţama`āan ۚ 'Inna Raĥmata Allāhi Qarībun Mina Al-Muĥsinīna 007-056. And do not make mischief in the earth after its reformation, and call on Him fearing and hoping; surely the mercy of Allah is nigh to those who do good (to others). وَلاَ‌ تُفْسِدُ‌و‌ا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ بَعْدَ‌ ‌إِصْ‍‍لاَحِهَا‌ ‌وَ‌ا‌دْع‍‍ُ‍وهُ خَ‍‍وْفا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‍طَ‍‍مَعا‌‌ ًۚ ‌إِنَّ ‌‍رَحْمَتَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ قَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍بٌ‌ مِنَ ‌الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Yursilu Ar-Riyāĥa Bushan Bayna Yaday Raĥmatihi ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā 'Aqallat Saĥābāan Thiqālāan Suqnāhu Libaladin Mayyitin Fa'anzalnā Bihi Al-Mā'a Fa'akhrajnā Bihi Min Kulli Ath-Thamarāti ۚ Kadhālika Nukhriju Al-Mawtá La`allakum Tadhakkarūna 007-057. And He it is Who sends forth the winds bearing good news before His mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, We drive it to a dead land, then We send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall We bring forth the dead that you may be mindful. وَهُوَ‌ ‌الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ ‌ال‍‍رِّي‍‍َ‍احَ بُشْر‌ا‌ ً‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ يَدَيْ ‌‍رَحْمَتِ‍‍هِ ۖ حَتَّ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌أَ‍قَ‍‍لَّتْ سَحَابا‌‌ ً‌ ثِ‍‍قَ‍‍الا‌‌ ً‌ سُ‍‍قْ‍‍ن‍‍َ‍اهُ لِبَلَد‌ٍ‌ مَيِّت‌‍ٍ‌ فَأَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ بِهِ ‌الْم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ فَأَ‍خْ‍رَجْ‍‍نَا‌ بِ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍نْ كُلِّ ‌ال‍‍ثَّمَ‍رَ‍‌اتِ ۚ كَذَلِكَ نُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجُ ‌الْمَوْتَى‌ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Wa Al-Baladu Aţ-Ţayyibu Yakhruju Nabātuhu Bi'idhni Rabbihi ۖ Wa Al-Ladhī Khabutha Lā Yakhruju 'Illā Nakidāan ۚ Kadhālika Nuşarrifu Al-'Āyāti Liqawmin Yashkurūna 007-058. And as for the good land, its vegetation springs forth (abundantly) by the permission of its Lord, and (as for) that which is inferior (its herbage) comes forth but scantily; thus do We repeat the communications for a people who give thanks. وَ‌الْبَلَدُ‌ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّبُ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ نَبَاتُ‍‍هُ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍بُثَ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ نَكِد‌ا‌‌ ًۚ كَذَلِكَ نُ‍‍صَ‍‍رِّفُ ‌الآي‍‍َ‍اتِ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يَشْكُرُ‌ونَ
Laqad 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan 'Ilá Qawmihi Faqāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu~ 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin 007-059. Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. لَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ نُوحا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِلَى‌ قَ‍‍وْمِ‍‍هِ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ ‌اعْبُدُ‌و‌ا‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مَا‌ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٍ غَ‍‍يْرُهُ~ُ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍افُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ يَ‍‍وْمٍ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
Qāla Al-Mala'u Min Qawmihi~ 'Innā Lanarāka Fī Đalālin Mubīnin 007-060. The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error. قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَنَ‍رَ‍‌اكَ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ‌ مُبِينٍ
Qāla Yā Qawmi Laysa Bī Đalālatun Wa Lakinnī Rasūlun Min Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna 007-061. He said: O my people! there is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ بِي ضَ‍‍لاَلَةٌ‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Uballighukum Risālāti Rabbī Wa 'Anşaĥu Lakum Wa 'A`lamu Mina Allāhi Mā Lā Ta`lamūna 007-062. I deliver to you the messages of my Lord, and I offer you good advice and I know from Allah what you do not know. أُبَلِّ‍‍غُ‍‍كُمْ ‌رِسَالاَتِ ‌‍رَبِّي ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍صَ‍‍حُ لَكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَعْلَمُ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
'Awa`ajibtum 'An Jā'akum Dhikrun Min Rabbikum `Alá Rajulin Minkum Liyundhirakum Wa Litattaqū Wa La`allakum Turĥamūna 007-063. What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might guard (against evil) and so that mercy may be shown to you? أَ‌وَعَجِ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَكُمْ ‌ذِكْر‌ٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ عَلَى‌ ‌‍رَجُلٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ لِيُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌‍رَكُمْ ‌وَلِتَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Fakadhdhabūhu Fa'anjaynāhu Wa Al-Ladhīna Ma`ahu Fī Al-Fulki Wa 'Aghraq Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā ۚ 'Innahum Kānū Qawmāan `Amīna 007-064. But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people. فَكَذَّب‍‍ُ‍وهُ فَأَ‌ن‍‍جَيْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مَعَ‍‍هُ فِي ‌الْفُلْكِ ‌وَ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍نَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍اۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُو‌اقَ‍‍وْماً‌ عَمِينَ
Wa 'Ilá `Ādin 'Akhāhum Hūdāan ۗ Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu~ ۚ 'Afalā Tattaqūna 007-065. And to Ad (We sent) their brother Hud. He said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; will you not then guard (against evil)? وَ‌إِلَى‌ ع‍‍َ‍ا‌دٍ‌ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍اهُمْ هُو‌د‌ا‌‌ ًۗ قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ ‌اعْبُدُ‌و‌ا‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مَا‌ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٍ غَ‍‍يْرُهُ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ ۚ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Qāla Al-Mala'u Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Qawmihi~ 'Innā Lanarāka Fī Safāhatin Wa 'Innā Lanažunnuka Mina Al-Kādhibīna 007-066. The chiefs of those who disbelieved from among his people said: Most surely we see you in folly, and most surely we think you to be of the liars. قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌و‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَنَ‍رَ‍‌اكَ فِي سَفَاهَةٍ‌ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَنَ‍‍ظُ‍‍نُّ‍‍كَ مِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبِينَ
Qāla Yā Qawmi Laysa Bī Safāhatun Wa Lakinnī Rasūlun Min Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna 007-067. He said: O my people! there is no folly in me, but I am an apostle of the Lord of the worlds. قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ بِي سَفَاهَةٌ‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Uballighukum Risālāti Rabbī Wa 'Anā Lakumşiĥun 'Amīnun 007-068. I deliver to you the messages of my Lord and I am a faithful adviser to you: أُبَلِّ‍‍غُ‍‍كُمْ ‌رِسَالاَتِ ‌‍رَبِّي ‌وَ‌أَنَا‌ لَكُمْ نَاصِ‍‍حٌ ‌أَمِينٌ
'Awa`ajibtum 'An Jā'akum Dhikrun Min Rabbikum `Alá Rajulin Minkum Liyundhirakum ۚ Wa Adhkurū 'Idh Ja`alakum Khulafā'a Min Ba`di Qawmi Nūĥin Wa Zādakum Al-Khalqi Basţatan ۖdhkurū 'Ālā'a Allāhi La`allakum Tufliĥūna 007-069. What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you that he might warn you? And remember when He made you successors after Nuh's people and increased you in excellence in respect of make; therefore remember the benefits of Allah, that you may be successful. أَ‌وَعَجِ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَكُمْ ‌ذِكْر‌ٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ عَلَى‌ ‌‍رَجُلٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ لِيُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌‍رَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ جَعَلَكُمْ خُ‍‍لَف‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِ‌ قَ‍‍وْمِ ن‍‍ُ‍وحٍ‌ ‌وَ‌زَ‌ا‌دَكُمْ فِي ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قِ بَسْ‍‍طَ‍‍ة‌ ًۖ فَا‌ذْكُرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌آلاَ‌ءَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Qālū 'Aji'tanā Lina`buda Allāha Waĥdahu Wa Nadhara Mā Kāna Ya`budu 'Ābā'uunā ۖ Fa'tinā Bimā Ta`idunā 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna 007-070. They said: Have you come to us that we may serve Allah alone and give up what our fathers used to serve? Then bring to us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful ones. قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَجِئْتَنَا‌ لِنَعْبُدَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَحْدَهُ ‌وَنَذَ‌‍رَ‌ مَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ يَعْبُدُ‌ ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُنَا‌ ۖ فَأْتِنَا‌ بِمَا‌ تَعِدُنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِقِ‍‍ينَ
Qāla Qad Waqa`a `Alaykum Min Rabbikum Rijsun Wa Ghađabun ۖ 'Atujādilūnanī Fī 'Asmā'in Sammaytumūhā 'Antum Wa 'Ābā'uukum Mā Nazzala Allāhu Bihā Min Sulţānin ۚntažirū 'Innī Ma`akum Mina Al-Muntažirīna 007-071. He said: Indeed uncleanness and wrath from your Lord have lighted upon you; what! do you dispute with me about names which you and your fathers have given? Allah has not sent any authority for them; wait then, I too with you will be of those who wait. قَ‍‍الَ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍عَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ‌رِجْ‍‍سٌ‌ ‌وَ‍‍غَ‍‍ضَ‍‍بٌ ۖ ‌أَتُجَا‌دِلُونَنِي فِ‍‍ي ‌أَسْم‍‍َ‍ا‌ء‌‌ٍ‌ سَ‍‍مَّ‍‍يْتُمُوهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌وَ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُكُمْ مَا‌ نَزَّلَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ سُلْ‍‍طَ‍‍ان‌‍ٍۚ فَا‌ن‍‍تَ‍‍ظِ‍‍رُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي مَعَكُمْ مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ‍‍ظِ‍‍رِينَ
Fa'anjaynāhu Wa Al-Ladhīna Ma`ahu Biraĥmatin Minnā Wa Qaţa`nā Dābira Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā ۖ Wa Mā Kānū Mu'uminīna 007-072. So We delivered him and those with him by mercy from Us, and We cut off the last of those who rejected Our communications and were not believers. فَأَ‌ن‍‍جَيْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مَعَ‍‍هُ بِ‍رَحْمَةٍ‌ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍طَ‍‍عْنَا‌ ‌دَ‌ابِ‍‍ر‍َ‍‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Ilá Thamūda 'Akhāhum Şāliĥāan ۗ Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu ۖ Qad Jā'atkum Bayyinatun Min Rabbikum ۖ Hadhihiqatu Allāhi Lakum 'Āyatan ۖ Fadharūhā Ta'kul Fī 'Arđi Allāhi ۖ Wa Lā Tamassūhā Bisū'in Faya'khudhakum `Adhābun 'Alīmun 007-073. And to Samood (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: 0 my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; clear proof indeed has come to you from your Lord; this is (as) Allah's she-camel for you-- a sign, therefore leave her alone to pasture on Allah's earth, and do not touch her with any harm, otherwise painful chastisement will overtake you. وَ‌إِلَى‌ ثَم‍‍ُ‍و‌دَ‌ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍اهُمْ صَ‍‍الِحا‌‌ ًۗ قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ ‌اعْبُدُ‌و‌ا‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مَا‌ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٍ غَ‍‍يْرُهُ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ۖ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ هَذِهِ ۖ نَاقَ‍‍ةُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَكُمْ ‌آيَة‌ ً‌ فَذَ‌رُ‌وهَا‌ ۖ تَأْكُلْ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلاَ‌ ۖ تَمَسُّوهَا‌ بِس‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌‌ٍ‌ فَيَأْ‍خُ‍‍ذَكُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَلِيمٌ
Wa Adhkurū 'Idh Ja`alakum Khulafā'a Min Ba`di `Ādin Wa Bawwa'akum Al-'Arđi Tattakhidhūna Min Suhūlihā Quşūan Wa Tanĥitūna Al-Jibāla Buyūtāan ۖdhkurū 'Ālā'a Allāhi Wa Lā Ta`thaw Fī Al-'Arđi Mufsidīna 007-074. And remember when He made you successors after Ad and settled you in the land-- you make mansions on its plains and hew out houses in the mountains-- remember therefore Allah's benefits and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief. وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ جَعَلَكُمْ خُ‍‍لَف‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِ‌ ع‍‍َ‍ا‌د‌ٍ‌ ‌وَبَوَّ‌أَكُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ تَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ سُهُولِهَا‌ قُ‍‍صُ‍‍و‌ر‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍حِت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْجِب‍‍َ‍الَ بُيُوتا‌‌ ًۖ فَا‌ذْكُرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌آلاَ‌ءَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَعْثَوْ‌ا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
Qāla Al-Mala'u Al-Ladhīna Astakbarū Min Qawmihi Lilladhīna Astuđ`ifū Liman 'Āmana Minhum 'Ata`lamūna 'Anna Şāliĥāan Mursalun Min Rabbihi ۚ Qālū 'Innā Bimā 'Ursila Bihi Mu'uminūna 007-075. The chief of those who behaved proudly among his people said to those who were considered weak, to those who believed from among them: Do you know that Salih is sent by his Lord? They said: Surely we are believers in what he has been sent with قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌و‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ‍‍هِ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتُ‍‍ضْ‍‍عِفُو‌ا‌ لِمَ‍‌‍نْ ‌آمَنَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌أَتَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنَّ صَ‍‍الِحا‌ ً‌ مُرْسَلٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍هِ ۚ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ بِمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أُ‌رْسِلَ بِ‍‍هِ مُؤْمِنُونَ
Qāla Al-Ladhīna Astakbarū 'Innā Bial-Ladhī 'Āmantum Bihi Kāfirūna 007-076. Those who were haughty said: Surely we are deniers of what you believe in. قَ‍‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍الَّذِي ‌آمَ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ بِ‍‍هِ كَافِرُ‌ونَ
Fa`aqarū An-Nāqata Wa `Ataw `An 'Amri Rabbihim Wa Qālū Yā Şāliĥu A'tinā Bimā Ta`idunā 'In Kunta Mina Al-Mursalīna 007-077. So they slew the she-camel and revolted against their Lord's commandment, and they said: O Salih! bring us what you threatened us with, if you are one of the apostles. فَعَ‍قَ‍‍رُ‌و‌ا‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍اقَ‍‍ةَ ‌وَعَتَوْ‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ يَاصَ‍‍الِحُ ‌ائْتِنَا‌ بِمَا‌ تَعِدُنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Fa'akhadhat/humu Ar-Rajfatu Fa'aşbaĥū Fī Dārihimthimīna 007-078. Then the earthquake overtook them, so they became motionless bodies in their abode. فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذَتْهُمُ ‌ال‍رَّجْ‍‍فَةُ فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحُو‌ا‌ فِي ‌دَ‌ا‌رِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
Fatawallá `Anhum Wa Qāla Yā Qawmi Laqad 'Ablaghtukum Risālata Rabbī Wa Naşaĥtu Lakum Wa Lakin Lā Tuĥibbūna An-Nāşīna 007-079. Then he turned away from them and said: O my people I did certainly deliver to you the message of my Lord, and I gave you good advice, but you do not love those who give good advice. فَتَوَلَّى‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَبْ‍‍لَ‍‍غْ‍‍تُكُمْ ‌رِسَالَةَ ‌‍رَبِّي ‌وَنَ‍‍صَ‍‍حْتُ لَكُمْ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍نْ لاَ‌ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍اصِ‍‍حِينَ
Wa Lūţāan 'Idh Qāla Liqawmihi~ 'Ata'tūna Al-Fāĥishata Mā Sabaqakum Bihā Min 'Aĥadin Mina Al-`Ālamīna 007-080. And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people: What! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you? وَلُوط‍‍ا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الَ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌أَتَأْت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا‌ سَبَ‍‍قَ‍‍كُمْ بِهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَحَد‌ٍ‌ مِنَ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Innakum Lata'tūna Ar-Rijāla Shahwatan Min Dūni An-Nisā' ۚ Bal 'Antum Qawmun Musrifūna 007-081. Most surely you come to males in lust besides females; nay you are an extravagant people. إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ لَتَأْت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍رِّج‍‍َ‍الَ شَهْوَة ً‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌ال‍‍نِس‍‍َ‍ا‌ء‌ ۚ بَلْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ قَ‍‍وْمٌ‌ مُسْ‍‍رِفُونَ
Wa Mā Kāna Jawāba Qawmihi~ 'Illā 'An Qālū 'Akhrijūhum Min Qaryatikum ۖ 'Innahum 'Unāsun Yataţahharūn 007-082. And the answer of his people was no other than that they said: Turn them out of your town, surely they are a people who seek to purify (themselves). وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ جَو‍َ‍‌ابَ قَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍رِجُوهُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍رْيَتِكُمْ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ ‌أُن‍‍َ‍اسٌ‌ يَتَ‍‍طَ‍‍هَّرُ‌ون
Fa'anjaynāhu Wa 'Ahlahu~ 'Illā Amra'atahu Kānat Mina Al-Ghābirīna 007-083. So We delivered him and his followers, except his wife; she was of those who remained behind. فَأَ‌ن‍‍جَيْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌وَ‌أَهْلَهُ~ُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌امْ‍رَ‌أَتَ‍‍هُ كَانَتْ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍ابِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Amţarnā `Alayhim Maţaan ۖnžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mujrimīna 007-084. And We rained upon them a rain; consider then what was the end of the guilty. وَ‌أَمْ‍‍طَ‍‍رْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ مَ‍‍طَ‍‍ر‌ا‌‌ ًۖ فَا‌ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َ‍انَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمِينَ
Wa 'Ilá Madyana 'Akhāhum Shu`aybāan ۗ Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu ۖ Qad Jā'atkum Bayyinatun Min Rabbikum ۖ Fa'awfū Al-Kayla Wa Al-Mīzāna Wa Lā Tabkhasū An-Nāsa 'Ashyā 'Ahum Wa Lā Tufsidū Fī Al-'Arđi Ba`da ۚ 'Işlāĥihā Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna 007-085. And to Madyan (We sent) their brother Shu'aib. He said: 0 my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; clear proof indeed has come to you from your Lord, therefore give full measure and weight and do not diminish to men their things, and do not make mischief in the land after its reform; this is better for you if you are believers: وَ‌إِلَى‌ مَ‍‍دْيَنَ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍اهُمْ شُعَيْبا‌‌ ًۗ قَ‍‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ ‌اعْبُدُ‌و‌ا‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مَا‌ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٍ غَ‍‍يْرُهُ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ۖ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ فَأَ‌وْفُو‌اۖ ‌الْكَ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌الْمِيز‍َ‍‌انَ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍سُو‌ا‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسَ ‌أَشْي‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُفْسِدُ‌و‌ا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ بَعْدَ‌ ‌إِصْ‍‍لاَحِهَا‌ ‌ذَلِكُمْ ۚ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ لَكُمْ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Lā Taq`udū Bikulli Şirāţin Tū`idūna Wa Taşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Man 'Āmana Bihi Wa Tabghūnahā `Iwajāan ۚ Wa Adhkurū 'Idh Kuntum Qalīlāan Fakaththarakum ۖ Wa Anžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mufsidīna 007-086. And do not lie in wait in every path, threatening and turning away from Allah's way him who believes in Him and seeking to make it crooked; and remember when you were few then He multiplied you, and consider what was the end of the mischief-makers. وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍عُدُ‌و‌ا‌ بِكُلِّ صِ‍رَ‍‌اط‌‍‌‍ٍ‌ تُوعِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَتَ‍‍صُ‍‍دّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍‌‍نْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَ‍‌‍نْ ‌آمَنَ بِ‍‍هِ ‌وَتَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍ونَهَا‌ عِوَجا‌ ًۚ ‌وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ قَ‍‍لِيلا‌‌ ً‌ فَكَثَّ‍رَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌ان‍‍ظُ‍‍رُ‌و‌ا‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َ‍انَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa 'In Kāna Ţā'ifatun Minkum 'Āmanū Bial-Ladhī 'Ursiltu Bihi Wa Ţā'ifatun Lam Yu'uminū Fāşbirū Ĥattá Yaĥkuma Allāhu Baynanā ۚ Wa Huwa Khayru Al-Ĥākimīna 007-087. And if there is a party of you who believe in that with which am sent, and another party who do not believe, then wait patiently until Allah judges between us; and He is the best of the Judges. وَ‌إِ‌نْ ك‍‍َ‍انَ طَ‍‍ائِفَةٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌آمَنُو‌ا‌ بِ‍الَّذِي ‌أُ‌رْسِلْتُ بِ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‍طَ‍‍ائِفَة ٌ‌ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُو‌ا‌ فَاصْ‍‍بِرُ‌و‌ا‌ حَتَّى‌ يَحْكُمَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بَيْنَنَا‌ ۚ ‌وَهُوَ‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْحَاكِمِينَ
Qāla Al-Mala'u Al-Ladhīna Astakbarū Min Qawmihi Lanukhrijannaka Yā Shu`aybu Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Ma`aka Min Qaryatinā 'Aw Lata`ūdunna Fī Millatinā ۚ Qāla 'Awalaw Kunnā Kārihīna 007-088. The chiefs, those who were proud from among his people said: We will most certainly turn you out, O Shu'aib, and (also; those who believe with you, from our town, or you shall come back to our faith. He said: What! though we dislike (it)? قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌و‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ‍‍هِ لَنُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ يَا‌ شُعَ‍‍يْ‍‍بُ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُو‌ا‌ مَعَكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍رْيَتِنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ لَتَعُو‌دُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا‌ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ ‌أَ‌وَلَوْ‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ كَا‌رِهِينَ
Qadi Aftaraynā `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan 'In `Udnā Fī Millatikum Ba`da 'Idh Najjānā Al-Lahu Minhā ۚ Wa Mā Yakūnu Lanā 'An Na`ūda Fīhā 'Illā 'An Yashā'a Allāhu Rabbunā ۚ Wasi`a Rabbunā Kulla Shay'in `Ilmāan ۚ `Alá Allāhi Tawakkalnā ۚ Rabbanā Aftaĥ Baynanā Wa Bayna Qawminā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Anta Khayru Al-Fātiĥīna 007-089. Indeed we shall have forged a lie against Allah If we go back to your religion after Allah has delivered us from It, and it befits us not that we should go back to it, except if Allah our Lord please: Our Lord comprehends all things :n His knowledge; in Allah do we trust: Our Lord! decide between us and our people with truth; and Thou art the best of deciders. قَ‍‍دِ‌ ‌افْتَ‍رَيْنَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كَذِبا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِ‌نْ عُ‍‍دْنَا‌ فِي مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَجَّانَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ نَع‍‍ُ‍و‌دَ‌ فِيهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌‍رَبُّنَا‌ ۚ ‌وَسِعَ ‌‍رَبُّنَا‌ كُلَّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ عِلْماً‌ ۚ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ تَوَكَّلْنَا‌ ۚ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ ‌افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا‌ ‌وَبَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ قَ‍‍وْمِنَا‌ بِ‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْفَاتِحِينَ
Wa Qāla Al-Mala'u Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Qawmihi La'ini Attaba`tum Shu`aybāan 'Innakum 'Idhāan Lakhāsirūna 007-090. And the chiefs of those who disbelieved from among his people said: If you follow Shu'aib, you shall then most surely be losers وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌و‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ‍‍هِ لَئِنِ ‌اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌إِ‌ذ‌ا‌ ً‌ لَ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِرُ‌ونَ
Fa'akhadhat/humu Ar-Rajfatu Fa'aşbaĥū Fī Dārihimthimīna 007-091. Then the earthquake overtook them, so they became motionless bodies in their abode. فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذَتْهُمُ ‌ال‍رَّجْ‍‍فَةُ فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحُو‌ا‌ فِي ‌دَ‌ا‌رِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Shu`aybāan Ka'an Lam Yaghnaw Fīhā ۚ Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Shu`aybāan Kānū Humu Al-Khāsirīna 007-092. Those who called Shu'aib a liar were as though they had never dwelt therein; those who called Shu'aib a liar, they were the losers. الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ شُعَيْبا‌‌ ً‌ كَأَ‌نْ لَمْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍نَوْ‌ا‌ فِيهَا‌ ۚ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ شُعَيْبا‌‌ ً‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ هُمُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِ‍‍رِينَ
Fatawallá `Anhum Wa Qāla Yā Qawmi Laqad 'Ablaghtukum Risālāti Rabbī Wa Naşaĥtu Lakum ۖ Fakayfa 'Āsá `Alá Qawmin Kāfirīna 007-093. So he turned away from them and said: O my people! certainly I delivered to you the messages of my Lord and I gave you good advice; how shall I then be sorry for an unbelieving people? فَتَوَلَّى‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ يَا‌ قَ‍‍وْمِ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَبْ‍‍لَ‍‍غْ‍‍تُكُمْ ‌رِسَالاَتِ ‌‍رَبِّي ‌وَنَ‍‍صَ‍‍حْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ‌آسَى‌ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍وْم‌‍ٍ‌ كَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Fī Qaryatin Min Nabīyin 'Illā 'Akhadhnā 'Ahlahā Bil-Ba'sā'i Wa Ađ-Đarrā'i La`allahum Yađđarra`ūna 007-094. And We did not send a prophet in a town but We overtook its people with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves. وَمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ فِي قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ نَبِيّ‌‍ٍ‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَهْلَهَا‌ بِ‍الْبَأْس‍‍َ‍ا‌ءِ‌ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍رّ‍َ‍‌ا‌ءِ‌ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَ‍‍ضَّ‍رَّعُونَ
Thumma Baddalnā Makāna As-Sayyi'ati Al-Ĥasanata Ĥattá `Afaw Wa Qālū Qad Massa 'Ābā'anā Ađ-Đarrā'u Wa As-Sarrā'u Fa'akhadhnāhum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna 007-095. Then We gave them good in the place of evil until they became many and said: Distress and happiness did indeed befall our fathers. Then We took them by surprise while they did not perceive. ثُ‍‍مَّ بَدَّلْنَا‌ مَك‍‍َ‍انَ ‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئَةِ ‌الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّى‌ عَفَو‌ا‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الُو‌اقَ‍‍دْ‌ مَسَّ ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍رّ‍َ‍‌ا‌ءُ‌ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّرّ‍َ‍‌ا‌ءُ‌ فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذْنَاهُمْ بَ‍‍غْ‍‍تَة ً‌ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُرُ‌ونَ
Wa Law 'Anna 'Ahla Al-Qurá 'Āmanū Wa Attaqaw Lafataĥnā `Alayhim Barakātin Mina As-Samā'i Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Lakin Kadhdhabū Fa'akhadhnāhum Bimā Kānū Yaksibūna 007-096. And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so We overtook them for what they had earned. وَلَوْ‌ ‌أَنَّ ‌أَهْلَ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌آمَنُو‌ا‌ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ لَفَتَحْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ بَ‍رَك‍‍َ‍اتٍ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءِ‌ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍نْ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذْنَاهُمْ بِمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَكْسِبُونَ
'Afa'amina 'Ahlu Al-Qurá 'An Ya'tiyahum Ba'sunā Bayātāan Wa Hum Nā'imūna 007-097. What! do the people of the towns then feel secure from Our punishment coming to them by night while they sleep? أَفَأَمِنَ ‌أَهْلُ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا‌ بَيَاتا‌ ً‌ ‌وَهُمْ ن‍‍َ‍ائِمُونَ
'Awa 'Amina 'Ahlu Al-Qurá 'An Ya'tiyahum Ba'sunā Đuĥan Wa Hum Yal`abūna 007-098. What! do the people of the towns feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they play? أَ‌وَ‌ ‌أَمِنَ ‌أَهْلُ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا‌ ضُ‍‍حى‌ ً‌ ‌وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
'Afa'aminū Makra Allāhi ۚ Falā Ya'manu Makra Allāhi 'Illā Al-Qawmu Al-Khāsirūna 007-099. What! do they then feel secure from Allah's plan? But none feels secure from Allah's plan except the people who shall perish. أَفَأَمِنُو‌ا‌ مَكْ‍رَ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ فَلاَ‌ يَأْمَنُ مَكْ‍رَ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِرُ‌ونَ
'Awalam Yahdi Lilladhīna Yarithūna Al-'Arđa Min Ba`di 'Ahlihā 'An Law Nashā'u 'Aşabnāhum Bidhunūbihim ۚ Wa Naţba`u `Alá Qulūbihim Fahum Lā Yasma`ūna 007-100. Is it not clear to those who inherit the earth after its (former) residents that if We please We would afflict them on account of their faults and set a seal on their hearts so they would not hear. أَ‌وَلَمْ يَهْدِ‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍رِث‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضَ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِ‌ ‌أَهْلِهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ لَوْ‌ نَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ‌أَ‍صَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۚ ‌وَنَ‍‍طْ‍‍بَعُ عَلَى‌ قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَسْمَعُونَ
Tilka Al-Qurá Naquşşu `Alayka Min 'Anbā'ihā ۚ Wa Laqad Jā'at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Famā Kānū Liyu'uminū Bimā Kadhdhabū Min Qablu ۚ Kadhālika Yaţba`u Allāhu `Alá Qulūbi Al-Kāfirīna 007-101. These towns-- We relate to you some of their stories, and certainly their apostles came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they rejected at first; thus does Allah set a seal over the hearts of the unbelievers تِلْكَ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى‌ نَ‍‍قُ‍‍صُّ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍ب‍‍َ‍ائِهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْهُمْ ‌رُسُلُهُمْ بِ‍الْبَيِّن‍‍َ‍اتِ فَمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ لِيُؤْمِنُو‌ا‌ بِمَا‌ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ۚ كَذَلِكَ يَ‍‍طْ‍‍بَعُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَلَى‌ قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبِ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Mā Wajadnā Li'ktharihim Min `Ahdin ۖ Wa 'In Wajadnā 'Aktharahum Lafāsiqīna 007-102. And We did not find in most of them any (faithfulness to) covenant, and We found most of them to be certainly transgressors. وَمَا‌ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَا‌ لِأكْثَ‍‍رِهِمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ عَهْد‌ٍۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَهُمْ لَفَاسِ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Thumma Ba`athnā Min Ba`dihim Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi Fažalamū Bihā ۖnžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mufsidīna 007-103. Then we raised after them Musa with Our communications to Firon and his chiefs, but they disbelieved in them; consider then what was the end of the mischief makers. ثُ‍‍مَّ بَعَثْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهِمْ مُوسَى‌ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَمَلَئِ‍‍هِ فَ‍‍ظَ‍‍لَمُو‌ا‌ بِهَا‌ ۖ فَا‌ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َ‍انَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Qāla Mūsá Yā Fir`awnu 'Innī Rasūlun Min Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna 007-104. And Musa said: O Firon! surely I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds: وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ مُوسَى‌ يَا‌ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنُ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Ĥaqīqun `Alá 'An Lā 'Aqūla `Alá Allāhi 'Illā Al-Ĥaqqa ۚ Qad Ji'tukum Bibayyinatin Min Rabbikum Fa'arsil Ma`ī Banī 'Isrā'īla 007-105. (I am) worthy of not saying anything about Allah except the truth: I have come to you indeed with clear proof from your Lord, therefore send with me the children of Israel حَ‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍قٌ عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ لاَ‌ ‌أَ‍قُ‍‍ولَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ۚ قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْتُكُمْ بِبَيِّنَةٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ فَأَ‌رْسِلْ مَعِي بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Qāla 'In Kunta Ji'ta Bi'āyatin Fa'ti Bihā 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna 007-106. He said: If you have come with a sign, then bring it, if you are of the truthful ones. قَ‍‍الَ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ جِئْتَ بِآيَة‌‍ٍ‌ فَأْتِ بِهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِقِ‍‍ينَ
Fa'alqá `Aşāhu Fa'idhā Hiya Thu`bānun Mubīnun 007-107. So he threw his rod, then lo! it was a clear serpent. فَأَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ عَ‍‍صَ‍‍اهُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ ثُعْب‍‍َ‍انٌ‌ مُبِينٌ
Wa Naza`a Yadahu Fa'idhā Hiya Bayđā'u Lilnnāžirīna 007-108. And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white to the beholders. وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ بَيْ‍‍ضَ‍‍ا‌ءُ‌ لِل‍‍نَّ‍‍اظِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Al-Mala'u Min Qawmi Fir`awna 'Inna Hādhā Lasāĥirun `Alīmun 007-109. The chiefs of Firon's people said: most surely this is an enchanter possessed of knowledge: قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌إِنَّ هَذَ‌ا‌ لَسَاحِرٌ‌ عَلِيمٌ
Yurīdu 'An Yukhrijakum Min 'Arđikum ۖ Famādhā Ta'murūna 007-110. He intends to turn you out of your land. What counsel do you then give? يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‌رْ‍ضِ‍‍كُمْ ۖ فَمَا‌ذَ‌ا‌ تَأْمُرُ‌ونَ
Qālū 'Arjihi Wa 'Akhāhu Wa 'Arsil Fī Al-Madā'ini Ĥāshirīna 007-111. They said: Put him off and his brother, and send collectors into the cities: قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‌رْجِ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍اهُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌رْسِلْ فِي ‌الْمَد‍َ‍‌ائِنِ حَاشِ‍‍رِينَ
Ya'tūka Bikulli Sāĥirin `Alīmin 007-112. That they may bring to you every enchanter possessed of knowledge. يَأْت‍‍ُ‍وكَ بِكُلِّ سَاحِ‍‍ر‍ٍ‍‌ عَلِيمٍ
Wa Jā'a As-Saĥaratu Fir`awna Qālū 'Inna Lanā La'ajan 'In Kunnā Naĥnu Al-Ghālibīna 007-113. And the enchanters came to Firon (and) said: We must surely have a reward if we are the prevailing ones. وَج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّحَ‍رَةُ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ لَنَا‌ لَأَجْ‍‍ر‌ا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ نَحْنُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍الِبِينَ
Qāla Na`am Wa 'Innakum Lamina Al-Muqarrabīna 007-114. He said: Yes, and you shall certainly be of those who are near (to me). قَ‍‍الَ نَعَمْ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ لَمِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍قَ‍رَّبِينَ
Qālū Yā Mūsá 'Immā 'An Tulqiya Wa 'Immā 'An Nakūna Naĥnu Al-Mulqīna 007-115. They said: O Musa! will you cast, or shall we be the first to cast? قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ يَا‌ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تُلْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَ ‌وَ‌إِمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ نَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ نَحْنُ ‌الْمُلْ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Qāla 'Alqū ۖ Falammā 'Alqaw Saĥarū 'A`yuna An-Nāsi Wa Astarhabūhum Wa Jā'ū Bisiĥrin `Ažīmin 007-116. He said: Cast. So when they cast, they deceived the people's eyes and frightened them, and they produced a mighty enchantment. قَ‍‍الَ ‌أَلْ‍‍قُ‍‍و‌اۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ سَحَرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌أَعْيُنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسِ ‌وَ‌اسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ ‌وَج‍‍َ‍ا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ بِسِحْرٍ‌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'An 'Alqi `Aşāka ۖ Fa'idhā Hiya Talqafu Mā Ya'fikūna 007-117. And We revealed to Musa, saying: Cast your rod; then lo! it devoured the lies they told. وَ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أَلْ‍‍قِ عَ‍‍صَ‍‍اكَ ۖ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ تَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍فُ مَا‌ يَأْفِكُونَ
Fawaqa`a Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Baţala Mā Kānū Ya`malūna 007-118. So the truth was established, and what they did became null. فَوَ‍قَ‍‍عَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ‌وَبَ‍‍طَ‍‍لَ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
Faghulibū Hunālika Wa Anqalabū Şāghirīna 007-119. Thus they were vanquished there, and they went back abased. فَ‍‍غُ‍‍لِبُو‌ا‌ هُنَالِكَ ‌وَ‌ان‍‍قَ‍‍لَبُو‌اصَ‍‍اغِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Ulqiya As-Saĥaratu Sājidīna 007-120. And the enchanters were thrown down, prostrating (themselves). وَ‌أُلْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَ ‌ال‍‍سَّحَ‍رَةُ سَاجِدِينَ
Qālū 'Āmannā Birabbi Al-`Ālamīna 007-121. They said: We believe in the Lord of the worlds, قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Rabbi Mūsá Wa Hārūna 007-122. The Lord of Musa and Haroun. رَبِّ مُوسَى‌ ‌وَهَا‌رُ‌ونَ
Qāla Fir`awnu 'Āmantum Bihi Qabla 'An 'Ādhana Lakum ۖ 'Inna Hādhā Lamakrun Makartumūhu Fī Al-Madīnati Litukhrijū Minhā 'Ahlahā ۖ Fasawfa Ta`lamūna 007-123. Firon said: Do you believe in Him before I have given you permission? Surely this is a plot which you have secretly devised in this city, that you may turn out of it its people, but you shall know: قَ‍‍الَ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنُ ‌آمَ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ بِ‍‍هِ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌آ‌ذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ ‌إِنَّ هَذَ‌ا‌ لَمَكْر‌ٌ‌ مَكَرْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ فِي ‌الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَهْلَهَا‌ ۖ فَسَ‍‍وْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
La'uqaţţi`anna 'Aydiyakum Wa 'Arjulakum Min Khilāfin Thumma La'uşallibannakum 'Ajma`īna 007-124. 1 will certainly cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, then will I crucify you all together. لَأُ‍قَ‍‍طِّ‍‍عَ‍‍نَّ ‌أَيْدِيَكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌رْجُلَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ خِ‍‍لاَف‌‍ٍ‌ ثُ‍‍مَّ لَأُ‍صَ‍‍لِّبَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Qālū 'Innā 'Ilá Rabbinā Munqalibūna 007-125. They said: Surely to our Lord shall we go back: قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌‍رَبِّنَا‌ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍قَ‍‍لِبُونَ
Wa Mā Tanqimu Minnā 'Illā 'An 'Āmannā Bi'āyāti Rabbinā Lammā Jā'atnā ۚ Rabbanā 'Afrigh `Alaynā Şaban Wa Tawaffanā Muslimīna 007-126. And you do not take revenge on us except because we have believed in the communications of our Lord when they came to us! Our Lord: Pour out upon us patience and cause us to die in submission. وَمَا‌ تَ‍‌‍ن‍‍قِ‍‍مُ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِآي‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌‍رَبِّنَا‌ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْنَا‌ ۚ ‌‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَفْ‍‍رِ‍‍غْ عَلَيْنَا‌ صَ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَتَوَفَّنَا‌ مُسْلِمِينَ
Wa Qāla Al-Mala'u Min Qawmi Fir`awna 'Atadharu Mūsá Wa Qawmahu Liyufsidū Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Yadharaka Wa 'Ālihataka ۚ Qāla Sanuqattilu 'Abnā'ahum Wa Nastaĥyī Nisā'ahum Wa 'Innā Fawqahum Qāhirūna 007-127. And the chiefs of Firon's people said: Do you leave Musa and his people to make mischief in the land and to forsake you and your gods? He said: We will slay their sons and spare their women, and surely we are masters over them. وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌أَتَذَ‌رُ‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍وْمَ‍‍هُ لِيُفْسِدُ‌و‌ا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَيَذَ‌‍رَكَ ‌وَ‌آلِهَتَكَ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ سَنُ‍‍قَ‍‍تِّلُ ‌أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ ‌وَنَسْتَحْيِي نِس‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ فَوْ‍قَ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍‍اهِرُ‌ونَ
Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Asta`īnū Billāhi Wa Aşbirū ۖ 'Inna Al-'Arđa Lillāh Yūrithuhā Man Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi ۖ Wa Al-`Āqibatu Lilmuttaqīna 007-128. Musa said to his people: Ask help from Allah and be patient; surely the land is Allah's; He causes such of His servants to inherit it as He pleases, and the end is for those who guard (against evil). قَ‍‍الَ مُوسَى‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌اسْتَعِينُو‌ا‌ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌اصْ‍‍بِرُ‌و‌اۖ ‌إِنَّ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضَ لِلَّهِ يُو‌رِثُهَا‌ مَ‍‌‍نْ يَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ عِبَا‌دِهِ ۖ ‌وَ‌الْعَاقِ‍‍بَةُ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Qālūdhīnā Min Qabli 'An Ta'tiyanā Wa Min Ba`di Mā Ji'tanā ۚ Qāla `Asá Rabbukum 'An Yuhlika `Adūwakum Wa Yastakhlifakum Al-'Arđi Fayanžura Kayfa Ta`malūna 007-129. They said: We have been persecuted before you came to us and since you have come to us. He said: It may be that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you rulers in the land, then He will see how you act. قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌و‌ذِينَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَ‌نْ تَأْتِيَنَا‌ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِ‌ مَا‌ جِئْتَنَا‌ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ عَسَى‌ ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ يُهْلِكَ عَدُ‌وَّكُمْ ‌وَيَسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍لِفَكُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ فَيَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظُ‍رَ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Laqad 'Akhadhnā 'Āla Fir`awna Bis-Sinīna Wa Naqşin Mina Ath-Thamarāti La`allahum Yadhdhakkarūna 007-130. And certainly We overtook Firon's people with droughts and diminution of fruits that they may be mindful. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌آلَ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ بِ‍ال‍‍سِّن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَنَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍صٍ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ثَّمَ‍رَ‍‌اتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُ‌ونَ
Fa'idhā Jā'at/humu Al-Ĥasanatu Qālū Lanā Hadhihi ۖ Wa 'In Tuşibhum Sayyi'atun Yaţţayyarū Bimūsá Wa Man Ma`ahu~ ۗ 'Alā 'Innamā Ţā'iruhum `Inda Allāhi Wa Lakinna 'Aktharahum Lā Ya`lamūna 007-131. But when good befell them they said: This is due to us; and when evil afflicted them, they attributed it to the ill-luck of Musa and those with him; surely their evil fortune is only from Allah but most of them do not know. فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْهُمُ ‌الْحَسَنَةُ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ لَنَا‌ هَذِهِ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ تُ‍‍صِ‍‍بْ‍‍هُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ‌ يَ‍‍طَّ‍‍يَّرُ‌و‌ا‌ بِمُوسَى‌ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ مَعَهُ~ُ ۗ ‌أَلاَ‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ طَ‍‍ائِرُهُمْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Qālū Mahmā Ta'tinā Bihi Min 'Āyatin Litasĥaranā Bihā Famā Naĥnu Laka Bimu'uminīna 007-132. And they said: Whatever sign you may bring to us to charm us with it-- we will not believe in you. وَ‍قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ مَهْمَا‌ تَأْتِنَا‌ بِ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌آيَة‍ٍ‌ لِتَسْحَ‍رَنَا‌ بِهَا‌ فَمَا‌ نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
Fa'arsalnā `Alayhimu Aţ-Ţūfāna Wa Al-Jarāda Wa Al-Qummala Wa Ađ-Đafādi`a Wa Ad-Dama 'Āyātin Mufaşşalātin Fāstakbarū Wa Kānū Qawmāan Mujrimīna 007-133. Therefore We sent upon them widespread death, and the locusts and the lice and the frog and the blood, clear signs; but they behaved haughtily and they were a guilty people. فَأَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌ال‍‍طُّ‍‍وف‍‍َ‍انَ ‌وَ‌الْجَ‍رَ‍‌ا‌دَ‌ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍مَّ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍فَا‌دِعَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍دَّمَ ‌آي‍‍َ‍اتٍ‌ مُفَ‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَت‌‍ٍ‌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌وَكَانُو‌اقَ‍‍وْما‌ ً‌ مُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمِينَ
Wa Lammā Waqa`a `Alayhimu Ar-Rijzu Qālū Yā Mūsá Ad`u Lanā Rabbaka Bimā `Ahida `Indaka ۖ La'in Kashafta `Annā Ar-Rijza Lanu'uminanna Laka Wa Lanursilanna Ma`aka Banī 'Isrā'īla 007-134. And when the plague fell upon them, they said: O Musa! pray for us to your Lord as He has promised with you, if you remove the plague from us, we will certainly believe in you and we will certainly send away with you the children of Israel. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍عَ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌ال‍‍رِّجْ‍‍زُ‌ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ يَا‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌ا‌دْعُ لَنَا‌ ‌‍رَبَّكَ بِمَا‌ عَهِدَ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَكَ ۖ لَئِ‍‌‍نْ كَشَفْتَ عَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ال‍‍رِّجْ‍‍زَ‌ لَنُؤْمِنَ‍‍نَّ لَكَ ‌وَلَنُرْسِلَ‍‍نَّ مَعَكَ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Falammā Kashafnā `Anhumu Ar-Rijza 'Ilá 'Ajalin Hum Bālighūhu 'Idhā Hum Yankuthūna 007-135. But when We removed the plague from them till a term which they should attain lo! they broke (the promise). فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ كَشَفْنَا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمُ ‌ال‍‍رِّجْ‍‍زَ‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَجَلٍ هُمْ بَالِ‍‍غُ‍‍وهُ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كُثُونَ
ntaqamnā Minhum Fa'aghraqnāhum Al-Yammi Bi'annahum Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Wa Kānū `Anhā Ghāfilīna 007-136. Therefore We inflicted retribution on them and drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and were heedless of them. فَا‌ن‍‍تَ‍‍قَ‍‍مْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ فَأَ‍‍غْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍نَاهُمْ فِي ‌الْيَ‍‍مِّ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَكَانُو‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ غَ‍‍افِلِينَ
Wa 'Awrath Al-Qawma Al-Ladhīna Kānū Yustađ`afūna Mashāriqa Al-'Arđi Wa Maghāribahā Allatī Bāraknā Fīhā ۖ Wa Tammat Kalimatu Rabbika Al-Ĥusná `Alá Banī 'Isrā'īla Bimā Şabarū ۖ Wa Dammarnā Mā Kāna Yaşna`u Fir`awnu Wa Qawmuhu Wa Mā Kānū Ya`rishūna 007-137. And We made the people who were deemed weak to mhent the eastern lands and the western ones which We had blessed; and the good word of your Lord was fulfilled in the children of Israel because they bore up (sufferings) patiently; and We utterly destroyed what Firon and his people had wrought and what they built. وَ‌أَ‌وْ‌‍رَثْنَا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَانُو‌ا‌ يُسْتَ‍‍ضْ‍‍عَف‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَشَا‌رِ‍‍قَ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَمَ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌رِبَهَا‌ ‌الَّتِي بَا‌‍رَكْنَا‌ فِيهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَتَ‍‍مَّ‍‍تْ كَلِمَةُ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ‌الْحُسْنَى‌ عَلَى‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ بِمَا‌ صَ‍‍بَرُ‌و‌اۖ ‌وَ‌دَمَّ‍‍رْنَا‌ مَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ يَ‍‍صْ‍‍نَعُ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنُ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍وْمُ‍‍هُ ‌وَمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَعْ‍‍رِشُونَ
Wa Jāwaznā Bibanī 'Isrā'īla Al-Baĥra Fa'ataw `Alá Qawmin Ya`kufūna `Alá 'Aşnāmin Lahum ۚ Qālū Yā Mūsá Aj`al Lanā 'Ilahāan Kamā Lahum 'Ālihatun ۚ Qāla 'Innakum Qawmun Tajhalūna 007-138. And We made the children of Israel to pass the sea; then they came upon a people who kept to the worship of their idols They said: O Musa! make for us a god as they have (their) gods He said: Surely you are a people acting ignorantly: وَجَا‌وَ‌زْنَا‌ بِبَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌الْبَحْ‍رَ‌ فَأَتَوْ‌ا‌ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يَعْكُف‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ن‍‍َ‍ام‍ٍ‌ لَهُمْ ۚ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ يَامُوسَى‌ ‌اجْ‍‍عَ‍‍ل لَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَها‌‌ ً‌ كَمَا‌ لَهُمْ ‌آلِهَة‌‍ٌقَ‍‍الَ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ قَ‍‍وْم‌‍ٌ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍هَلُونَ
'Inna Hā'uulā' Mutabbarun Mā Hum Fīhi Wa Bāţilun Mā Kānū Ya`malūna 007-139. (As to) these, surely that about which they are shall be brought to naught and that which they do is vain. إِنَّ ه‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ مُتَبَّر‌ٌ‌ مَا‌ هُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَبَاطِ‍‍لٌ‌ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
Qāla 'Aghayra Allāhi 'Abghīkum 'Ilahāan Wa Huwa Fađđalakum `Alá Al-`Ālamīna 007-140. He said: What! shall I seek for you a god other than Allah while He has made you excel (all) created things? قَ‍‍الَ ‌أَ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍غِ‍‍يكُمْ ‌إِلَها‌ ً‌ ‌وَهُوَ‌ فَ‍‍ضَّ‍‍لَكُمْ عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa 'Idh 'Anjaynākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi ۖ Yuqattilūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum ۚ Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun 007-141. And when We delivered you from Firon's people who subJected you to severe torment, killing your sons and sparing your women, and in this there was a great trial from your Lord. وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍جَيْنَاكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌آلِ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءَ‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ۖ يُ‍‍قَ‍‍تِّل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَكُمْ ‌وَيَسْتَحْي‍‍ُ‍ونَ نِس‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَفِي ‌ذَلِكُمْ بَلاَ‌ء‌ٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Wa Wā`adnā Mūsá Thalāthīna Laylatan Wa 'Atmamnāhā Bi`ashrin Fatamma Mīqātu Rabbihi~ 'Arba`īna Laylatan ۚ Wa Qāla Mūsá Li'khīhi Hārūna Akhlufnī Fī Qawmī Wa 'Aşliĥ Wa Lā Tattabi` Sabīla Al-Mufsidīna 007-142. And We appointed with Musa a time of thirty nights and completed them with ten (more), so the appointed time of his Lord was complete forty nights, and Musa said to his brother Haroun: Take my place among my people, and act well and do not follow the way of the mischief-makers. وَ‌وَ‌اعَ‍‍دْنَا‌ مُوسَى‌ ثَلاَث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَيْلَة ً‌ ‌وَ‌أَتْمَمْنَاهَا‌ بِعَشْر‌‌ٍ‌ فَتَ‍‍مَّ مِي‍‍قَ‍‍اتُ ‌‍رَبِّهِ ‌أَ‌رْبَع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَيْلَة ًۚ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ مُوسَى‌ لِأخِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ هَا‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌اخْ‍‍لُفْنِي فِي قَ‍‍وْمِي ‌وَ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍لِحْ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَتَّبِعْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Lammā Jā'a Mūsá Limīqātinā Wa Kallamahu Rabbuhu Qāla Rabbi 'Arinī 'Anžur 'Ilayka ۚ Qāla Lan Tanī Wa Lakini Anžur 'Ilá Al-Jabali Fa'ini Astaqarra Makānahu Fasawfa Taۚ Falammā Tajallá Rabbuhu Liljabali Ja`alahu Dakkāan Wa Kharra Mūsá Şa`iqāan ۚ Falammā 'Afāqa Qāla Subĥānaka Tubtu 'Ilayka Wa 'Anā 'Awwalu Al-Mu'uminīna 007-143. And when Musa came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said: My Lord! show me (Thyself), so that I may look upon Thee. He said: You cannot (bear to) see Me but look at the mountain, if it remains firm in its place, then will you see Me; but when his Lord manifested His glory to the mountain He made it crumble and Musa fell down in a swoon; then when he recovered, he said: Glory be to Thee, I turn to Thee, and I am the first of the believers. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مُوسَى‌ لِمِي‍‍قَ‍‍اتِنَا‌ ‌وَكَلَّمَ‍‍هُ ‌‍رَبُّ‍‍هُ قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌أَ‌رِنِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ لَ‍‌‍نْ تَ‍رَ‌انِي ‌وَلَكِنِ ‌ان‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ ‌اسْتَ‍‍قَ‍رَّ‌ مَكَانَ‍‍هُ فَسَ‍‍وْفَ تَ‍رَ‌انِي ۚ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَجَلَّى‌ ‌‍رَبُّ‍‍هُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَ‍‍هُ ‌دَكّا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‍خَ‍رَّ‌ مُوسَى‌ صَ‍‍عِ‍‍ق‍‍ا‌‌ ًۚ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَف‍‍َ‍اقَ قَ‍‍الَ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَكَ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍تُ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌وَ‌أَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌وَّلُ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Qāla Yā Mūsá 'Innī Aşţafaytuka `Alá An-Nāsi Birisālātī Wa Bikalāmī Fakhudh Mā 'Ātaytuka Wa Kun Mina Ash-Shākirīna 007-144. He said: O Musa! surely I have chosen you above the people with My messages and with My words, therefore take hold of what I give to you and be of the grateful ones. قَ‍‍الَ يَامُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌اصْ‍‍طَ‍‍فَيْتُكَ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسِ بِ‍‍رِسَالاَتِي ‌وَبِكَلاَمِي فَ‍‍خُ‍‍ذْ‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌آتَيْتُكَ ‌وَكُ‍‌‍نْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاكِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Katabnā Lahu Fī Al-'Alwāĥi Min Kulli Shay'in Maw`ižatan Wa Tafşīlāan Likulli Shay'in Fakhudh/hā Biqūwatin Wa 'Mur Qawmaka Ya'khudhū Bi'aĥsanihā ۚ Sa'urīkum Dāra Al-Fāsiqīna 007-145. And We ordained for him in the tablets admonition of every kind and clear explanation of all things; so take hold of them with firmness and enjoin your people to take hold of what is best thereof; I will show you the abode of the transgressors. وَكَتَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَ‍‍هُ فِي ‌الأَلْو‍َ‍‌احِ مِ‍‌‍نْ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ‌ مَوْعِ‍‍ظَ‍‍ة ً‌ ‌وَتَفْ‍‍صِ‍‍يلا‌ ً‌ لِكُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ‌ فَ‍‍خُ‍‍ذْهَا‌ بِ‍‍قُ‍‍وَّةٍ‌ ‌وَ‌أْمُرْ‌ قَ‍‍وْمَكَ يَأْ‍خُ‍‍ذُ‌و‌ا‌ بِأَحْسَنِهَا‌ ۚ سَأُ‌رِيكُمْ ‌د‍َ‍‌ا‌‍رَ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Sa'aşrifu `An 'Āyātiya Al-Ladhīna Yatakabbarūna Fī Al-'Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa 'In Yaraw Kulla 'Āyatin Lā Yu'uminū Bihā Wa 'In Yaraw Sabīla Ar-Rushdi Lā Yattakhidhūhu Sabīlāan Wa 'In Yaraw Sabīla Al-Ghayyi Yattakhidhūhu Sabīlāan ۚ Dhālika Bi'annahum Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Wa Kānū `Anhā Ghāfilīna 007-146. 1 will turn away from My communications those who are unjustly proud in the earth; and if they see every sign they will not believe m It; and if they see the way of rectitude they do not take It for a way, and if they see the way of error. they take it for a way; this is because they rejected Our communications and were heedless of them. سَأَ‍صْ‍‍رِفُ عَ‍‌‍نْ ‌آيَاتِيَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتَكَبَّر‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ يَ‍رَ‌وْ‌ا‌ كُلَّ ‌آيَة‍ٍ‌ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِنُو‌ا‌ بِهَا‌ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ يَ‍رَ‌وْ‌ا‌ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌ال‍‍رُّشْدِ‌ لاَ‌ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ سَبِيلا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ يَ‍رَ‌وْ‌ا‌ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌ال‍‍غَ‍‍يِّ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ سَبِيلا‌‌ ًۚ ‌ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَكَانُو‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ غَ‍‍افِلِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Wa Liqā'i Al-'Ākhirati Ĥabiţat 'A`māluhum ۚ Hal Yujzawna 'Illā Mā Kānū Ya`malūna 007-147. And (as to) those who reject Our communications and the meeting of the hereafter, their deeds are null. Shall they be rewarded except for what they have done? وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَلِ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ءِ‌ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ حَبِ‍‍طَ‍‍تْ ‌أَعْمَالُهُمْ ۚ هَلْ يُ‍‍جْ‍‍زَ‌وْنَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Attakhadha Qawmu Mūsá Min Ba`dihi Min Ĥulīyihim `Ijlāan Jasadāan Lahu Khuwārun ۚ 'Alam Yaraw 'Annahu Lā Yukallimuhum Wa Lā Yahdīhim Sabīlāan ۘ Attakhadhūhu Wa Kānū Žālimīna 007-148. And Musa's people made of their ornaments a calf after him, a (mere) body, which gave a mooing sound. What! could they not see that it did not speak to them nor guide them m the way? They took it (for worship) and they were unjust. وَ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ قَ‍‍وْمُ مُوسَى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهِ مِ‍‌‍نْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِ‍‍جْ‍‍لا‌‌ ً‌ جَسَد‌ا‌ ً‌ لَ‍‍هُ خُ‍‍و‍َ‍‌ا‌رٌ‌ ۚ ‌أَلَمْ يَ‍رَ‌وْ‌ا‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ يُكَلِّمُهُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَهْدِيهِمْ سَبِيلا‌‌ ًۘ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌وَكَانُو‌اظَ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Lammā Suqiţa Fī 'Aydīhim Wa Ra'aw 'Annahum Qad Đallū Qālū La'in Lam YarĥamRabbunā Wa Yaghfir Lanā Lanakūnanna Mina Al-Khāsirīna 007-149. And when they repented and saw that they had gone astray, they said: If our Lord show not mercy to us and forgive us we shall certainly be of the losers. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ سُ‍‍قِ‍‍طَ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَ‌أَ‌وْ‌ا‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ضَ‍‍لُّو‌اقَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ لَئِ‍‌‍نْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْنَا‌ ‌‍رَبُّنَا‌ ‌وَيَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رْ‌ لَنَا‌ لَنَكُونَ‍‍نَّ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Lammā Raja`a Mūsá 'Ilá Qawmihi Ghađbāna 'Asifāan Qāla Bi'samā Khalaftumūnī Min Ba`dī ۖ 'A`ajiltum 'Amra Rabbikum ۖ Wa 'Alqá Al-'Alwāĥa Wa 'Akhadha Bira'si 'Akhīhi Yajurruhu~ 'Ilayhi ۚ Qāla Abna 'Umma 'Inna Al-Qawma Astađ`afūnī Wa Kādū Yaqtulūnanī Falā Tushmit Biya Al-'A`dā'a Wa Lā Taj`alnī Ma`a Al-Qawmi Až-Žālimīna 007-150. And when Musa returned to his people, wrathful (and) in violent grief, he said: Evil is it that you have done after me; did you turn away from the bidding of your Lord? And he threw down the tablets and seized his brother by the head, dragging him towards him. He said: Son of my mother! surely the people reckoned me weak and had well-nigh slain me, therefore make not the enemies to rejoice over me and count me not among the unjust people. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌‍رَجَعَ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِلَى‌ قَ‍‍وْمِ‍‍هِ غَ‍‍ضْ‍‍ب‍‍َ‍انَ ‌أَسِفا‌‌ ًقَ‍‍الَ بِئْسَمَا‌ خَ‍‍لَفْتُمُونِي مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِي ۖ ‌أَعَجِلْتُمْ ‌أَمْ‍رَ‌ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ ‌الأَلْو‍َ‍‌احَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ بِ‍رَ‌أْسِ ‌أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ يَجُرُّهُ~ُ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ ‌ابْ‍‍نَ ‌أُمّ‍َ ‌إِنَّ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ ‌اسْتَ‍‍ضْ‍‍عَفُونِي ‌وَكَا‌دُ‌و‌ا‌ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍تُلُونَنِي فَلاَ‌ تُشْمِتْ بِيَ ‌الأَعْد‍َ‍‌ا‌ءَ‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلْنِي مَعَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Qāla Rabbi Aghfir Lī Wa Li'akhī Wa 'Adkhilnā Fī Raĥmatika ۖ Wa 'Anta 'Arĥamu Ar-ĥimīna 007-151. He said: My Lord! forgive me and my brother and cause us to enter into Thy mercy, and Thou art the most Merciful of the merciful ones. قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌اغْ‍‍فِ‍‍رْ‌ لِي ‌وَلِأَ‍خِ‍‍ي ‌وَ‌أَ‌دْ‍‍خِ‍‍لْنَا‌ فِي ‌‍رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌أَ‌رْحَمُ ‌ال‍رَّ‌احِمِينَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Al-`Ijla Sayanāluhum Ghađabun Min Rabbihim Wa Dhillatun Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۚ Wa Kadhalika Naj Al-Muftarīna 007-152. (As for) those who took the calf (for a god), surely wrath from their Lord and disgrace in this world's life shall overtake them, and thus do We recompense the devisers of lies. إِنَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌و‌ا‌الْعِ‍‍جْ‍‍لَ سَيَنَالُهُمْ غَ‍‍ضَ‍‍بٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَ‌ذِلَّة‌‍ٌ‌ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َ‍اةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌الْمُفْتَ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna `Amilū As-Sayyi'āti Thumma Tābū Min Ba`dihā Wa 'Āmanū 'Inna Rabbaka Min Ba`dihā Laghafūrun Raĥīmun 007-153. And (as to) those who do evil deeds, then repent after that and believe, your Lord after that is most surely Forgiving, Merciful. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَمِلُو‌ا‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئ‍‍َ‍اتِ ثُ‍‍مَّ تَابُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهَا‌ ‌وَ‌آمَنُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ ‌‍رَبَّكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهَا‌ لَ‍‍غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ‌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Wa Lammā Sakata `An Mūsá Al-Ghađabu 'Akhadha Al-'Alwāĥa ۖ Wa Fī Nuskhatihā Hudan Wa Raĥmatun Lilladhīna Hum Lirabbihim Yarhabūna 007-154. And when Musa's anger calmed down he took up the tablets, and in the writing thereof was guidance and mercy for those who fear for the sake of their Lord. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ سَكَتَ عَ‍‌‍نْ مُوسَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍ضَ‍‍بُ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ ‌الأَلْو‍َ‍‌احَ ۖ ‌وَفِي نُسْ‍‍خَ‍‍تِهَا‌ هُ‍‍د‌ى‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَة ٌ‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هُمْ لِ‍رَبِّهِمْ يَرْهَبُونَ
Wa Akhtāra Mūsá Qawmahu Sab`īna Rajulāan Limīqātinā ۖ Falammā 'Akhadhat/humu Ar-Rajfatu Qāla Rabbi Law Shi'ta 'Ahlaktahum Min Qablu Wa 'Īyāya ۖ 'Atuhlikunā Bimā Fa`ala As-Sufahā'u Minnā ۖ 'In Hiya 'Illā Fitnatuka Tuđillu Bihā Man Tashā'u Wa Tahdī Man Tashā'u ۖ 'Anta Walīyunā Fāghfir Lanā Wa Arĥamۖ Wa 'Anta Khayru Al-Ghāfirīna 007-155. And Musa chose out of his people seventy men for Our appointment; so when the earthquake overtook them, he said: My Lord! if Thou hadst pleased, Thou hadst destroyed them before and myself (too); wilt Thou destroy us for what the fools among us have done? It is naught but Thy trial, Thou makest err with it whom Thou pleasest and guidest whom Thou pleasest: Thou art our Guardian, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the forgivers. وَ‌اخْ‍‍ت‍‍َ‍ا‌‍رَ‌ مُوسَى‌ قَ‍‍وْمَ‍‍هُ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍ع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌‍رَجُلا‌ ً‌ لِمِي‍‍قَ‍‍اتِنَا‌ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذَتْهُمُ ‌ال‍رَّجْ‍‍فَةُ قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ لَوْ‌ شِئْتَ ‌أَهْلَكْتَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ‌وَ‌إِيّ‍‍َ‍ايَ ۖ ‌أَتُهْلِكُنَا‌ بِمَا‌ فَعَلَ ‌ال‍‍سُّفَه‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍اۖ ‌إِ‌نْ هِيَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ فِتْنَتُكَ تُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّ بِهَا‌ مَ‍‌‍نْ تَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ‌وَتَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍نْ تَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ۖ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌وَلِيُّنَا‌ فَاغْ‍‍فِ‍‍رْ‌ لَنَا‌ ‌وَ‌ا‌رْحَمْنَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍افِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Aktub Lanā Fī Hadhihi Ad-Dunyā Ĥasanatan Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati 'Innā Hudnā 'Ilayka ۚ Qāla `Adhābī 'Uşību Bihi Man 'Ashā'u ۖ Wa Raĥmatī Wasi`at Kulla Shay'in ۚ Fasa'aktubuhā Lilladhīna Yattaqūna Wa Yu'utūna Az-Zakāata Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Bi'āyātinā Yu'uminūna 007-156. And ordain for us good in this world's life and m the hereafter, for surely we turn to Thee. He said: (As for) My chastisement, I will afflict with it whom I please, and My mercy encompasses all things; so I will ordain it (specially) for those who guard (against evil) and pay the poor-rate, and those who believe in Our communications. وَ‌اكْتُ‍‍بْ لَنَا‌ فِي هَذِهِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ حَسَنَة ً‌ ‌وَفِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ هُ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ عَذَ‌ابِ‍‍ي ‌أُ‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍بُ بِ‍‍هِ مَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتِي ‌وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍۚ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ‌وَيُؤْت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َ‍اةَ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هُمْ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Yattabi`ūna Ar-Rasūla An-Nabīya Al-'Ummīya Al-Ladhī Yajidūnahu Maktūbāan `Indahum At-Tawati Wa Al-'Injīli Ya'muruhum Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhāhum `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Yuĥillu Lahumu Aţ-Ţayyibāti Wa Yuĥarrimu `Alayhimu Al-Khabā'itha Wa Yađa`u `Anhum 'Işrahum Wa Al-'Aghlāla Allatī Kānat `Alayhim ۚ Fa-Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bihi Wa `Azzarūhu Wa Naşarūhu Wa Attaba`ū An-Nūra Al-Ladhī 'Unzila Ma`ahu~ ۙ 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna 007-157. Those who follow the Apostle-Prophet, the Ummi, whom they find written down with them in the Taurat and the Injeel (who) enjoins them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from them their burden and the shackles which were upon them; so (as for) those who believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful. الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيَّ ‌الأُمِّ‍‍يَّ ‌الَّذِي يَجِدُ‌ونَ‍‍هُ مَكْتُوباً‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُمْ فِي ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌رَ‍‌اةِ ‌وَ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍ج‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ يَأْمُرُهُمْ بِ‍الْمَعْر‍ُ‍‌وفِ ‌وَيَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَاهُمْ عَنِ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍كَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍ب‍‍َ‍ائِثَ ‌وَيَ‍‍ضَ‍‍عُ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌إِصْ‍رَهُمْ ‌وَ‌الأَ‍‍غْ‍‍لاَلَ ‌الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُو‌ا‌ بِ‍‍هِ ‌وَعَزَّ‌ر‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌وَنَ‍‍صَ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌وَ‌اتَّبَعُو‌ا‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍ُ‍و‌‍رَ‌الَّذِي ‌أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ مَعَهُ~ُ ۙ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Qul Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Innī Rasūlu Allāhi 'Ilaykum Jamī`āan Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu ۖ Fa'āminū Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi An-Nabīyi Al-'Ummīyi Al-Ladhī Yu'uminu Billāhi Wa Kalimātihi Wa Attabi`ūhu La`allakum Tahtadūna 007-158. Say: O people! surely I am the Apostle of Allah to you all, of Him Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth there is no god but He; He brings to life and causes to die therefore believe in Allah and His apostle, the Ummi Prophet who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him so that you may walk in the right way. قُ‍‍لْ ي‍‍َ‍ا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسُ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعا‌‌ ً‌الَّذِي لَ‍‍هُ مُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ لاَ‌ ۖ ‌إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ‌ يُحْيِي ‌وَيُم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍تُ فَآمِنُو‌اۖ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيِّ ‌الأُمِّ‍‍يِّ ‌الَّذِي يُؤْمِنُ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَكَلِمَاتِ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌اتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍وهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Min Qawmi Mūsá 'Ummatun Yahdūna Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Bihi Ya`dilūna 007-159. And of Musa's people was a party who guided (people) with the truth, and thereby did they do justice. وَمِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٌ‌ يَهْد‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَبِ‍‍هِ يَعْدِلُونَ
Wa Qaţţa`nāhumu Athnatay `Ashrata 'Asbāţāan 'Umamāan ۚ Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'Idh Astasqāhu Qawmuhu~ 'Ani Ađrib Bi`aşāka Al-Ĥajara ۖnbajasat Minhu Athnatā `Ashrata `Aynāan ۖ Qad `Alima Kullu 'Unāsin Mashrabahum ۚ Wa Žallalnā `Alayhimu Al-Ghamāma Wa 'Anzalnā `Alayhimu Al-Manna Wa As-Salwá ۖ Kulū Min Ţayyibāti Mā Razaqnākum ۚ Wa Mā Žalamūnā Wa Lakin Kānū 'Anfusahum Yažlimūna 007-160. And We divided them into twelve tribes, as nations; and We revealed to Musa when his people asked him for water: Strike the rock with your staff, so outnowed from it twelve springs; each tribe knew its drinking place; and We made the clouds to give shade over them and We sent to them manna and quails: Eat of the good things We have given you. And they did not do Us any harm, but they did injustice to their own souls. وَ‍قَ‍طَّ‍‍عْنَاهُمُ ‌اثْنَتَيْ عَشْ‍رَةَ ‌أَسْبَاط‍‍اً‌ ‌أُمَما‌ ًۚ ‌وَ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌اسْتَسْ‍‍قَ‍‍اهُ قَ‍‍وْمُهُ~ُ ‌أَنِ ‌اضْ‍‍رِب بِعَ‍‍صَ‍‍اكَ ‌الْحَجَ‍رَۖ فَا‌نْ‍‍بَجَسَتْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌اثْنَتَا‌ عَشْ‍رَةَ عَيْنا‌‌ ًۖ قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَلِمَ كُلُّ ‌أُن‍‍َ‍اسٍ‌ مَشْ‍رَبَهُمْ ۚ ‌وَ‍ظَ‍‍لَّلْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍م‍‍َ‍امَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْمَ‍‍نَّ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّلْوَ‌ى‌ ۖ كُلُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ طَ‍‍يِّب‍‍َ‍اتِ مَا‌ ‌‍رَ‌زَ‍قْ‍‍نَاكُمْ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ ظَ‍‍لَمُونَا‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍نْ كَانُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمُونَ
Wa 'Idh Qīla Lahumu Askunū Hadhihi Al-Qaryata Wa Kulū Minhā Ĥaythu Shi'tum Wa Qūlū Ĥiţţatun Wa Adkhulū Al-Bāba Sujjadāan Naghfir Lakum Khaţī'ātikum ۚ Sanazīdu Al-Muĥsinīna 007-161. And when it was said to them: Reside in this town and eat from it wherever you wish, and say, Put down from us our heavy burdens: and enter the gate making obeisance, We will forgive you your wrongs: We will give more to those who do good (to others). وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَهُمُ ‌اسْكُنُو‌ا‌ هَذِهِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْيَةَ ‌وَكُلُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ حَ‍‍يْ‍‍ثُ شِئْتُمْ ‌وَ‍قُ‍‍ولُو‌ا‌ حِ‍‍طَّ‍‍ةٌ‌ ‌وَ‌ا‌دْ‍‍خُ‍‍لُو‌ا‌الْب‍‍َ‍ابَ سُجَّد‌ا‌ ً‌ نَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رْ‌ لَكُمْ خَ‍‍ط‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ئ‍‍َ‍‍اتِكُمْ ۚ سَنَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Fabaddala Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Minhum Qawlāan Ghayra Al-Ladhī Qīla Lahum Fa'arsalnā `Alayhim Rijzāan Mina As-Samā'i Bimā Kānū Yažlimūna 007-162. But those who were unjust among them changed it for a saying other than that which had been spoken to them; so We sent upon them a pestilence from heaven because they were unjust. فَبَدَّلَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُو‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍‍وْلاً‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌الَّذِي قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَهُمْ فَأَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌رِجْ‍‍ز‌ا‌ ً‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءِ‌ بِمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمُونَ
Wa As'alhum `Ani Al-Qaryati Allatī Kānat Ĥāđirata Al-Baĥri 'Idh Ya`dūna Fī As-Sabti 'Idh Ta'tīhim Ĥītānuhum Yawma Sabtihim Shurra`āan Wa Yawma Lā Yasbitūna ۙ Lā Ta'tīhim ۚ Kadhālika Nablūhum Bimā Kānū Yafsuqūna 007-163. And ask them about the town which stood by the sea; when they exceeded the limits of the Sabbath, when their fish came to them on the day of their Sabbath, appearing on the surface of the water, and on the day on which they did not keep the Sabbath they did not come to them; thus did We try them because they transgressed. وَ‌اسْأَلْهُمْ عَنِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْيَةِ ‌الَّتِي كَانَتْ حَاضِ‍رَةَ ‌الْبَحْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ يَعْد‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّ‍‍بْ‍‍تِ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ تَأْتِيهِمْ حِيتَانُهُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍تِهِمْ شُ‍رَّعا‌ ً‌ ‌وَيَ‍‍وْمَ لاَ‌ يَسْبِت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۙ لاَ‌ تَأْتِيهِمْ ۚ كَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُوهُمْ بِمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَفْسُ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa 'Idh Qālat 'Ummatun Minhum Lima Ta`ižūna Qawmāan ۙ Al-Lahu Muhlikuhum 'Aw Mu`adhdhibuhum `Adhābāan Shadīdāan ۖ Qālū Ma`dhiratan 'Ilá Rabbikum Wa La`allahum Yattaqūna 007-164. And when a party of them said: Why do you admonish a with a severe chastisement? They said: To be free from blame before your Lord, and that haply they may guard (against evil). وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لِمَ تَعِ‍‍ظُ‍‍ونَ قَ‍‍وْما‌‌ ًۙ ‌اللَّهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَ‌ابا‌‌ ً‌ شَدِيد‌ا‌‌ ًۖ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ مَعْذِ‌‍رَة‌ ً‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ‌وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Falammā Nasū Mā Dhukkirū Bihi~ 'Anjaynā Al-Ladhīna Yanhawna `Ani As-Sū'i Wa 'Akhadh Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Bi`adhābin Ba'īsin Bimā Kānū Yafsuqūna 007-165. So when they neglected what they had been reminded of, We delivered those who forbade evil and We overtook those who were unjust with an evil chastisement because they transgressed. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ نَسُو‌ا‌ مَا‌ ‌ذُكِّرُ‌و‌ا‌ بِهِ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍جَيْنَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَ‍‍وْنَ عَنِ ‌ال‍‍سّ‍‍ُ‍و‌ءِ‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْنَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُو‌ا‌ بِعَذ‍َ‍‌اب ٍ‌ بَئ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍س ٍ‌ بِمَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَفْسُ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Falammā `Ataw `An Mā Nuhū `Anhu Qulnā Lahum Kūnū Qiradatan Khāsi'īna 007-166. Therefore when they revoltingly persisted in what they had been forbidden, We said to them: Be (as) apes, despised and hated. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ عَتَوْ‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ مَا‌ نُهُو‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ لَهُمْ كُونُو‌اقِ‍رَ‌دَةً خَ‍‍اسِئ‍‍ِ‍‍ينَ
Wa 'Idh Ta'adhdhana Rabbuka Layab`athanna `Alayhim 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Man Yasūmuhum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi ۗ 'Inna Rabbaka Lasarī`u Al-`Iqābi ۖ Wa 'Innahu Laghafūrun Raĥīmun 007-167. And when your Lord announced that He would certainly send against them to the day of resurrection those who would subject them to severe torment; most surely your Lord is quick to requite (evil) and most surely He is Forgiving, Merciful. وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ تَأَ‌ذَّنَ ‌‍رَبُّكَ لَيَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَثَ‍‍نَّ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌إِلَى‌ يَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ مَ‍‌‍نْ يَسُومُهُمْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءَ‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ۗ ‌إِنَّ ‌‍رَبَّكَ لَسَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْعِ‍‍قَ‍‍ابِ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَ‍‍غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ‌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Wa Qaţţa`nāhum Al-'Arđi 'Umamāan ۖ Minhumu Aş-Şāliĥūna Wa Minhum Dūna Dhālika ۖ Wa Balawnāhum Bil-Ĥasanāti Wa As-Sayyi'āti La`allahum Yarji`ūna 007-168. And We cut them up on the earth into parties, (some) of them being righteous and (others) of them falling short of that, and We tried them with blessings and misfortunes that they might turn. وَ‍قَ‍طَّ‍‍عْنَاهُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌أُمَما‌ ًۖ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمُ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌ذَلِكَ ۖ ‌وَبَلَوْنَاهُمْ بِ‍الْحَسَن‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئ‍‍َ‍اتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Fakhalafa Min Ba`dihim Khalfun Wa Rithū Al-Kitāba Ya'khudhūna `Arađa Hādhā Al-'Adná Wa Yaqūlūna Sayughfaru Lanā Wa 'In Ya'tihim `Arađun Mithluhu Ya'khudhūhu ۚ 'Alam Yu'ukhadh `Alayhimthāqu Al-Kitābi 'An Lā Yaqūlū `Alá Allāhi 'Illā Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Darasū Mā Fīhi ۗ Wa Ad-Dāru Al-'Ākhiratu Khayrun Lilladhīna Yattaqūna ۗ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna 007-169. Then there came after them an evil posterity who inherited the Book, taking only the frail good of this low life and saying: It will be forgiven us. And if the like good came to them, they would take it (too). Was not a promise taken from them in the Book that they would not speak anything about Allah but the truth, and they have read what is in it; and the abode of the hereafter is better for those who guard (against evil). Do you not then understand? فَ‍خَ‍‍لَفَ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَ‍‍لْفٌ‌ ‌وَ‌رِثُو‌ا‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابَ يَأْ‍خُ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍رَضَ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الأَ‌دْنَى‌ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ سَيُ‍‍غْ‍‍فَرُ‌ لَنَا‌ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ يَأْتِهِمْ عَ‍رَضٌ‌ مِثْلُ‍‍هُ يَأْ‍خُ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ ۚ ‌أَلَمْ يُؤْ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْ‌ عَلَيْهِمْ مِيث‍‍َ‍اقُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابِ ‌أَ‌نْ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُو‌ا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ‌وَ‌دَ‌‍رَسُو‌ا‌ مَا‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍دّ‍َ‍‌ا‌رُ‌ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةُ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ۗ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yumassikūna Bil-Kitābi Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata 'Innā Lā Nuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Muşliĥīna 007-170. And (as for) those who hold fast by the Book and keep up prayer, surely We do not waste the reward of the right doers. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُمَسِّك‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابِ ‌وَ‌أَ‍قَ‍‍امُو‌ا‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لاَ‌ نُ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍عُ ‌أَجْ‍‍‍رَ‌الْمُ‍‍صْ‍‍لِحِينَ
Wa 'Idh Nataq Al-Jabala Fawqahum Ka'annahu Žullatun Wa Žannū 'Annahuqi`un Bihim Khudhū Mā 'Ātaynākum Biqūwatin Wa Adhkurū Mā Fīhi La`allakum Tattaqūna 007-171. And when We shook the mountain over them as if it were a covering overhead, and they thought that it was going to fall down upon them: Take hold of what We have given you with firmness, and be mindful of what is in it, so that you may guard (against evil). وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَتَ‍‍قْ‍‍نَا‌ ‌الْجَبَلَ فَوْ‍قَ‍‍هُمْ كَأَنَّ‍‍هُ ظُ‍‍لَّةٌ‌ ‌وَ‍ظَ‍‍نُّ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَ‌اقِ‍‍ع‌‍ٌ‌ بِهِمْ خُ‍‍ذُ‌و‌ا‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِ‍‍قُ‍‍وَّةٍ‌ ‌وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرُ‌و‌ا‌ مَا‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa 'Idh 'Akhadha Rabbuka Min Banī 'Ādama Min Žuhūrihim Dhurrīyatahum Wa 'Ash/hadahum `Alá 'Anfusihim 'Alastu Birabbikum ۖ Qālū Balá ۛ Shahidnā ۛ 'An Taqūlū Yawma Al-Qiyāmati 'Innā Kunnā `An Hādhā Ghāfilīna 007-172. And when your Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their backs, their descendants, and made them bear witness against their own souls: Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes! we bear witness. Lest you should say on the day of resurrection: Surely we were heedless of this. وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ ‌‍رَبُّكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌آ‌دَمَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ظُ‍‍هُو‌رِهِمْ ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّتَهُمْ ‌وَ‌أَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ ‌أَلَسْتُ بِ‍رَبِّكُمْ ۖ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ بَلَى‌ ۛ شَهِ‍‍دْنَ‍‍اۛ ‌أَ‌نْ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُو‌ا‌ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ هَذَ‌ا‌ غَ‍‍افِلِينَ
'Aw Taqūlū 'Innamā 'Ashraka 'Ābā'uunā Min Qablu Wa Kunnā Dhurrīyatan Min Ba`dihim ۖ 'Afatuhlikunā Bimā Fa`ala Al-Mubţilūna 007-173. Or you should say: Only our fathers associated others (with Allah) before, and we were an offspring after them: Wilt Thou then destroy us for what the vain doers did? أَ‌وْ‌ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَشْ‍رَكَ ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّة ً‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ ‌أَفَتُهْلِكُنَا‌ بِمَا‌ فَعَلَ ‌الْمُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍لُونَ
Wa Kadhalika Nufaşşilu Al-'Āyāti Wa La`allahum Yarji`ūna 007-174. And thus do We make clear the communications, and that haply they might return. وَكَذَلِكَ نُفَ‍‍صِّ‍‍لُ ‌الآي‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa Atlu `Alayhim Naba'a Al-Ladhī 'Ātaynāhu 'Āyātinā Fānsalakha Minhā Fa'atba`ahu Ash-Shayţānu Fakāna Mina Al-Ghāwīna 007-175. And recite to them the narrative of him to whom We give Our communications, but he withdraws himself from them, so the Shaitan overtakes him, so he is of those who go astray. وَ‌اتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ‌ ‌الَّذِي ‌آتَيْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌آيَاتِنَا‌ فَا‌ن‍‍سَلَ‍‍خَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ فَأَتْبَعَهُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انُ فَك‍‍َ‍انَ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌وِينَ
Wa Law Shi'nā Larafa`nāhu Bihā Wa Lakinnahu~ 'Akhlada 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Wa Attaba`a Hawāhu ۚ Famathaluhu Kamathali Al-Kalbi 'In Taĥmil `Alayhi Yalhath 'Aw Tatruk/hu Yalhath ۚ Dhālika Mathalu Al-Qawmi Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā ۚqşuşi Al-Qaşaşa La`allahum Yatafakkarūna 007-176. And if We had pleased, We would certainly have exalted him thereby; but he clung to the earth and followed his low desire, so his parable is as the parable of the dog; if you attack him he lolls out his tongue; and if you leave him alone he lolls out his tongue; this is the parable of the people who reject Our communications; therefore relate the narrative that they may reflect. وَلَوْ‌ شِئْنَا‌ لَ‍رَفَعْن‍‍َ‍اهُ بِهَا‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُ~ُ ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍لَدَ‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَ‌اتَّبَعَ هَو‍َ‍‌اهُ ۚ فَمَثَلُ‍‍هُ كَمَثَلِ ‌الْكَلْبِ ‌إِ‌نْ تَحْمِلْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ يَلْهَثْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَتْرُكْهُ يَلْهَثْ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ مَثَلُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ۚ فَا‍قْ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍صِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍صَ‍‍صَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Sā'a Mathalāan Al-Qawmu Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Wa 'Anfusahum Kānū Yažlimūna 007-177. Evil is the likeness of the people who reject Our communications and are unjust to their own souls. س‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مَثَلا‌‌ ً‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمُونَ
Man Yahdi Allāhu Fahuwa Al-Muhtadī ۖ Wa Man Yuđlil Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna 007-178. Whomsoever Allah guides, he is the one who follows the right way; and whomsoever He causes to err, these are the losers. مَ‍‌‍نْ يَهْدِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فَهُوَ‌ ‌الْمُهْتَدِي ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ يُ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِلْ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِرُ‌ونَ
Wa Laqad Dhara'nā Lijahannama Kathīrāan Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi ۖ Lahum Qulūbun Lā Yafqahūna Bihā Wa Lahum 'A`yunun Lā Yubşirūna Bihā Wa Lahumdhānun Lā Yasma`ūna Bihā ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Kāl'an`āmi Bal Hum 'Ađallu ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Ghāfilūna 007-179. And certainly We have created for hell many of the jinn and the men; they have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear; they are as cattle, nay, they are in worse errors; these are the heedless ones. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌ذَ‌‍رَ‌أْنَا‌ لِجَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ كَثِي‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ مِنَ ‌الْجِ‍‍نِّ ‌وَ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍سِ ۖ لَهُمْ قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وب ٌ‌ لاَ‌ يَفْ‍‍قَ‍‍ه‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَا‌ ‌وَلَهُمْ ‌أَعْيُن ٌ‌ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِهَا‌ ‌وَلَهُمْ ‌آ‌ذ‍َ‍‌ان ٌ‌ لاَ‌ يَسْمَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَ‍‍اۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ كَالأَنع‍‍َ‍امِ بَلْ هُمْ ‌أَ‍ضَ‍‍لُّ ۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍افِلُونَ
Wa Lillāh Al-'Asmā'u Al-Ĥusná Fād`ūhu Bihā ۖ Wa Dharū Al-Ladhīna Yulĥidūna Fī 'Asmā'ihi ۚ Sayujzawna Mā Kānū Ya`malūna 007-180. And Allah's are the best names, therefore call on Him thereby, and leave alone those who violate the sanctity of His names; they shall be recompensed for what they did. وَلِلَّهِ ‌الأَسْم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ‌الْحُسْنَى‌ فَا‌دْع‍‍ُ‍وهُ بِهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌ذَ‌رُ‌و‌ا‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُلْحِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَسْم‍‍َ‍ائِ‍‍هِ ۚ سَيُ‍‍جْ‍‍زَ‌وْنَ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Mimman Khalaqnā 'Ummatun Yahdūna Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Bihi Ya`dilūna 007-181. And of those whom We have created are a people who guide with the truth and thereby they do justice. وَمِ‍‍مَّ‍‍‌‍نْ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍نَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٌ‌ يَهْد‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَبِ‍‍هِ يَعْدِلُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Sanastadrijuhum Min Ĥaythu Lā Ya`lamūna 007-182. And (as to) those who reject Our communications, We draw them near (to destruction) by degrees from whence they know not. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُو‌ا‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ سَنَسْتَ‍‍دْ‌رِجُهُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ حَ‍‍يْ‍‍ثُ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa 'Umlī Lahum ۚ 'Inna Kaydī Matīnun 007-183. And I grant them respite; surely My scheme is effective. وَ‌أُمْلِي لَهُمْ ۚ ‌إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ
'Awalam Yatafakkarū ۗ Mā Bişāĥibihim Min Jinnatin ۚ 'In Huwa 'Illā Nadhīrun Mubīnun 007-184. Do they not reflect that their companion has not unsoundness in mind; he is only a plain warner. أَ‌وَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُ‌و‌اۗ مَا‌ بِ‍‍صَ‍‍احِبِهِمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ جِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ة‌‍ٍۚ ‌إِ‌نْ هُوَ‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ نَذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ مُبِينٌ
'Awalam Yanžurū Fī Malakūti As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Khalaqa Allāhu Min Shay'in Wa 'An `Asá 'An Yakūna Qadi Aqtaraba 'Ajaluhum ۖ Fabi'ayyi Ĥadīthin Ba`dahu Yu'uminūna 007-185. Do they not consider the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever things Allah has created, and that may be their doom shall have drawn nigh; what announcement would they then believe in after this? أَ‌وَلَمْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رُ‌و‌ا‌ فِي مَلَك‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَمَا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍نْ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ عَسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ قَ‍‍دِ‌ ‌ا‍قْ‍‍تَ‍رَبَ ‌أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍ث ٍ‌ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Man Yuđlili Allāhu Falā Hādiya Lahu ۚ Wa YadharuhumŢughyānihim Ya`mahūna 007-186. Whomsoever Allah causes to err, there is no guide for him; and He leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. مَ‍‌‍نْ يُ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِلِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فَلاَ‌ هَا‌دِيَ لَ‍‍هُ ۚ ‌وَيَذَ‌رُهُمْ فِي طُ‍‍غْ‍‍يَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
Yas'alūnaka `Ani As-Sā`ati 'Ayyāna Mursāhā ۖ Qul 'Innamā `Ilmuhā `Inda Rabbī ۖ Lā Yujallīhā Liwaqtihā 'Illā Huwa ۚ Thaqulat Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Lā Ta'tīkum 'Illā Baghtatan ۗ Yas'alūnaka Ka'annaka Ĥafīyun `Anhā ۖ Qul 'Innamā `Ilmuhā `Inda Allāhi Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Ya`lamūna 007-187. They ask you about the hour, when will be its taking place? Say: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be momentous in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden. They ask you as if you were solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know. يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةِ ‌أَيّ‍‍َ‍انَ مُرْسَاهَا‌ ۖ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ عِلْمُهَا‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ ‌‍رَبِّي ۖ لاَ‌ يُجَلِّيهَا‌ لِوَ‍قْ‍‍تِهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ‌ ۚ ثَ‍‍قُ‍‍لَتْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ۚ لاَ‌ تَأْتِيكُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بَ‍‍غْ‍‍تَة ًۗ يَسْأَلُونَكَ كَأَنَّ‍‍كَ حَفِيٌّ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۖ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ عِلْمُهَا‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسِ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Qul Lā 'Amliku Linafsī Naf`āan Wa Lā Đaran 'Illā Mā Shā'a Allāhu ۚ Wa Law Kuntu 'A`lamu Al-Ghayba Lāstakthartu Mina Al-Khayri Wa Mā Massaniya As-Sū'u ۚ 'In 'Anā 'Illā Nadhīrun Wa Bashīrun Liqawmin Yu'uminūna 007-188. Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please; and had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe. قُ‍‍لْ لاَ‌ ‌أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي نَفْعا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ ضَ‍‍رّ‌ا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ ش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۚ ‌وَلَوْ‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُ ‌أَعْلَمُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بَ لاَسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌وَمَا‌ مَسَّنِيَ ‌ال‍‍سّ‍‍ُ‍و‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌إِ‌نْ ‌أَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ نَذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ ‌وَبَش‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Huwa Al-Ladhī Khalaqakum Min Nafsin Wāĥidatin Wa Ja`ala Minhā Zawjahā Liyaskuna 'Ilayhā ۖ Falammā Taghashshāhā Ĥamalat Ĥamlāan Khafīfāan Famarrat Bihi ۖ Falammā 'Athqalat Da`awā Al-Laha Rabbahumā La'in 'Ātaytanā Şāliĥāan Lanakūnanna Mina Ash-Shākirīna 007-189. He it is Who created you from a single being, and of the same (kind) did He make his mate, that he might incline to her; so when he covers her she bears a light burden, then moves about with it; but when it grows heavy, they both call upon Allah, their Lord: If Thou givest us a good one, we shall certainly be of the grateful ones. هُوَ‌ ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ نَفْسٍ‌ ‌وَ‌احِدَةٍ‌ ‌وَجَعَلَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ‌زَ‌وْجَهَا‌ لِيَسْكُنَ ‌إِلَيْهَا‌ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَ‍‍غَ‍‍شَّاهَا‌ حَمَلَتْ حَمْلاً‌ خَ‍‍فِيفا‌‌ ً‌ فَمَ‍رَّتْ بِ‍‍هِ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَثْ‍‍قَ‍‍لَتْ ‌دَعَوَ‌ا‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌‍رَبَّهُمَا‌ لَئِ‍‌‍نْ ‌آتَيْتَنَا‌ صَ‍‍الِحا‌ ً‌ لَنَكُونَ‍‍نَّ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاكِ‍‍رِينَ
Falammā 'Ātāhumā Şāliĥāan Ja`alā Lahu Shurakā'a Fīmā 'Ātāhumā ۚ Fata`ālá Allāhu `Ammā Yushrikūna 007-190. But when He gives them a good one, thcy set up with Him associates in what He has given them; but high is Allah above what they associate (with Him). فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌آتَاهُمَا‌ صَ‍‍الِحا‌‌ ً‌ جَعَلاَ‌ لَ‍‍هُ شُ‍رَك‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ فِيمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌آتَاهُمَا‌ ۚ فَتَعَالَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يُشْ‍‍رِكُونَ
'Ayushrikūna Mā Lā Yakhluqu Shay'āan Wa Hum Yukhlaqūna 007-191. What! they associate (with Him) that which does not create any thing, while they are themselves created! أَيُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَا‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئا‌ ً‌ ‌وَهُمْ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍لَ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Lā Yastaţī`ūna Lahum Naşan Wa Lā 'Anfusahum Yanşurūna 007-192. And they have no power to give them help, nor can they help themselves. وَلاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَهُمْ نَ‍‍صْ‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa 'In Tad`ūhum 'Ilá Al-Hudá Lā Yattabi`ūkum ۚ Sawā'un `Alaykum 'Ada`awtumūhum 'Am 'Antum Şāmitūna 007-193. And if you invite them to guidance, they will not follow you; it is the same to you whether you invite them or you are silent. وَ‌إِ‌نْ تَ‍‍دْعُوهُمْ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى‌ لاَ‌ يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ ۚ سَو‍َ‍‌ا‌ءٌ‌ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌أَ‌دَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ ‌أَمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍امِتُونَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūni Allāhi `Ibādun 'Amthālukum ۖd`ūhum Falyastajībū Lakum 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna 007-194. Surely those whom you call on besides Allah are in a state of subjugation like yourselves; therefore call on them, then let them answer you if you are truthful. إِنَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عِب‍‍َ‍ا‌دٌ‌ ‌أَمْثَالُكُمْ ۖ فَا‌دْعُوهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُو‌ا‌ لَكُمْ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍ا‌دِقِ‍‍ينَ
'Alahum 'Arjulun Yamshūna Bihā ۖ 'Am Lahum 'Aydin Yabţishūna Bihā ۖ 'Am Lahum 'A`yunun Yubşirūna Bihā ۖ 'Am Lahumdhānun Yasma`ūna Bihā ۗ Quli AdShurakā'akum Thumma Kīdūni Falā Tunžirūni 007-195. Have they feet with which they walk, or have they hands with which they hold, or have they eyes with which they see, or have they ears with which they hear? Say: Call your associates, then make a struggle (to prevail) against me and give me no respite. أَلَهُمْ ‌أَ‌رْجُلٌ‌ يَمْش‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَ‍‍اۖ ‌أَمْ لَهُمْ ‌أَيْ‍‍د‌ٍ‌ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍ش‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَ‍‍اۖ ‌أَمْ لَهُمْ ‌أَعْيُنٌ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِهَ‍‍اۖ ‌أَمْ لَهُمْ ‌آ‌ذ‍َ‍‌انٌ‌ يَسْمَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهَا‌ ۗ قُ‍‍لِ ‌ا‌دْعُو‌ا‌ شُ‍رَك‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَكُمْ ثُ‍‍مَّ كِيد‍ُ‍‌ونِ فَلاَ‌ تُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظِ‍‍رُ‌ونِ
'Inna Walīyiya Allāhu Al-Ladhī Nazzala Al-Kitāba ۖ Wa Huwa Yatawallá Aş-Şāliĥīna 007-196. Surely my guardian is Allah, Who revealed the Book, and He befriends the good. إِنَّ ‌وَلِيِّيَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذِي نَزَّلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابَ ۖ ‌وَهُوَ‌ يَتَوَلَّى‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūnihi Lā Yastaţī`ūna Naşrakum Wa Lā 'Anfusahum Yanşurūna 007-197. And those whom you call upon besides Him are not able to help you, nor can they help themselves. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِ‍‍هِ لاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ نَ‍‍صْ‍رَكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa 'In Tad`ūhum 'Ilá Al-Hudá Lā Yasma`ū ۖ Wa Tahum Yanžurūna 'Ilayka Wa Hum Lā Yubşirūna 007-198. And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking towards you, yet they do not see. وَ‌إِ‌نْ تَ‍‍دْعُوهُمْ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى‌ لاَ‌ يَسْمَعُو‌اۖ ‌وَتَ‍رَ‌اهُمْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظُ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Khudhi Al-`Afwa Wa 'Mur Bil-`Urfi Wa 'A`riđ `Ani Al-Jāhilīna 007-199. Take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn aside from the ignorant. خُ‍‍ذِ‌ ‌الْعَفْوَ‌ ‌وَ‌أْمُرْ‌ بِ‍الْعُرْفِ ‌وَ‌أَعْ‍‍رِ‍‍ضْ عَنِ ‌الْجَاهِلِينَ
Wa 'Immā Yanzaghannaka Mina Ash-Shayţāni Nazghun Fāsta`idh Billāhi~ ۚ 'Innahu Samī`un `Alīmun 007-200. And if a false imputation from the Shaitan afflict you, seek refuge in Allah; surely He is Hearing, Knowing. وَ‌إِمَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍زَ‍‍غَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انِ نَزْ‍غ‌‍ٌ‌ فَاسْتَعِذْ‌ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَلِيمٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Attaqaw 'Idhā Massahum Ţā'ifun Mina Ash-Shayţāni Tadhakkarū Fa'idhā Hum Mubşirūna 007-201. Surely those who guard (against evil), when a visitation from the Shaitan afflicts them they become mindful, then lo! they see. إِنَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ مَسَّهُمْ طَ‍‍ائِفٌ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انِ تَذَكَّرُ‌و‌ا‌ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ مُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Ikhwānuhum Yamuddūnahum Al-Ghayyi Thumma Lā Yuqşirūna 007-202. And their brethren increase them in error, then they cease not. وَ‌إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انُهُمْ يَمُدُّ‌ونَهُمْ فِي ‌ال‍‍غَ‍‍يِّ ثُ‍‍مَّ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Idhā Lam Ta'tihim Bi'āyatin Qālū Lawlā Ajtabaytahā ۚ Qul 'Innamā 'Attabi`u Mā Yūĥá 'Ilayya Min Rabbī ۚdhā Başā'iru Min Rabbikum Wa Hudan Wa Raĥmatun Liqawmin Yu'uminūna 007-203. And when you bring them not a revelation they say: Why do you not forge it? Say: I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord; these are clear proofs from your Lord and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ لَمْ تَأْتِهِمْ بِآيَة‌‍ٍقَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ لَوْلاَ‌ ‌اجْ‍‍تَبَيْتَهَا‌ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَتَّبِعُ مَا‌ يُوحَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِلَيَّ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّي ۚ هَذَ‌ا‌ بَ‍‍صَ‍‍ائِ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ‌وَهُ‍‍د‌ى‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَة ٌ‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Quri'a Al-Qur'ānu Fāstami`ū Lahu Wa 'Anşitū La`allakum Turĥamūna 007-204. And when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and remain silent, that mercy may be shown to you. وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ قُ‍‍رِئَ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنُ فَاسْتَمِعُو‌ا‌ لَ‍‍هُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍صِ‍‍تُو‌ا‌ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Wa Adhkur Rabbaka Fī Nafsika Tađarru`āan Wa Khīfatan Wa Dūna Al-Jahri Mina Al-Qawli Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli Wa Lā Takun Mina Al-Ghāfilīna 007-205. And remember your Lord within yourself humbly and fearing and in a voice not loud in the morning and the evening and be not of the heedless ones. وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرْ‌ ‌‍رَبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَ‍‍ضَ‍‍رُّعا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‍خِ‍‍يفَة ً‌ ‌وَ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌الْجَهْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ بِ‍الْ‍‍غُ‍‍دُ‌وِّ‌ ‌وَ‌الآ‍‍صَ‍‍الِ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَكُ‍‌‍نْ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍افِلِينَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna `Inda Rabbika Lā Yastakbirūna `An `Ibādatihi Wa Yusabbiĥūnahu Wa Lahu Yasjudūna 007-206.
