Wa Al-Mursalāti `Urfāan (Al-Mursalāt: 1).

077.001 By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another
|
وَالْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفاً |
| Fāl`āşifāti `Aşfāan (Al-Mursalāt: 2).
|
077.002 By the raging hurricanes,
|
فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفاً |
| Wa An-Nāshirāti Nashrāan (Al-Mursalāt: 3).
|
077.003 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive;
|
وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْراً |
| Fālfāriqāti Farqāan (Al-Mursalāt: 4).
|
077.004 By those who winnow with a winnowing,
|
فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقاً |
| Fālmulqiyāti Dhikrāan (Al-Mursalāt: 5).
|
077.005 By those who bring down the Reminder,
|
فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْراً |
| `Udhrāan 'Aw Nudhrāan (Al-Mursalāt: 6).
|
077.006 To excuse or to warn,
|
عُذْراً أَوْ نُذْراً |
| 'Innamā Tū`adūna Lawāqi`un (Al-Mursalāt: 7).
|
077.007 Surely that which ye are promised will befall.
|
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ |
| Fa'idhā An-Nujūmu Ţumisat (Al-Mursalāt: 8).
|
077.008 So when the stars are put out,
|
فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā As-Samā'u Furijat (Al-Mursalāt: 9).
|
077.009 And when the sky is riven asunder,
|
وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-Jibālu Nusifat (Al-Mursalāt: 10).
|
077.010 And when the mountains are blown away,
|
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Ar-Rusulu 'Uqqitat (Al-Mursalāt: 11).
|
077.011 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed -
|
وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ |
| L'ayyi Yawmin 'Ujjilat (Al-Mursalāt: 12).
|
077.012 For what day is the time appointed ?
|
لأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ |
| Liyawmi Al-Faşli (Al-Mursalāt: 13).
|
077.013 For the Day of Decision.
|
لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Al-Faşli (Al-Mursalāt: 14).
|
077.014 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! -
|
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 15).
|
077.015 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Nuhliki Al-'Awwalīna (Al-Mursalāt: 16).
|
077.016 Destroyed We not the former folk,
|
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الأَوَّلِينَ |
| Thumma Nutbi`uhumu Al-'Ākhirīna (Al-Mursalāt: 17).
|
077.017 Then caused the latter folk to follow after ?
|
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الآخِرِينَ |
| Kadhālika Naf`alu Bil-Mujrimīna (Al-Mursalāt: 18).
|
077.018 Thus deal We ever with the guilty.
|
كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 19).
|
077.019 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Nakhluqkum Min Mā'in Mahīnin (Al-Mursalāt: 20).
|
077.020 Did We not create you from a base fluid
|
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ |
| Faja`alnāhu Fī Qarārin Makīnin (Al-Mursalāt: 21).
|
077.021 Which We laid up in a safe abode
|
فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ |
| 'Ilá Qadarin Ma`lūmin (Al-Mursalāt: 22).
|
077.022 For a known term ?
|
إِلَى قَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ |
| Faqadarnā Fani`ma Al-Qādirūna (Al-Mursalāt: 23).
|
077.023 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging!
|
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 24).
|
077.024 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Naj`ali Al-'Arđa Kifātāan (Al-Mursalāt: 25).
|
077.025 Have We not made the earth a receptacle
|
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الأَرْضَ كِفَاتاً |
| 'Aĥyā'an Wa 'Amwātāan (Al-Mursalāt: 26).
|
077.026 Both for the living and the dead,
|
أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتاً |
| Wa Ja`alnā Fīhā Rawāsiya Shāmikhātin Wa 'Asqaynākum Mā'an Furātāan (Al-Mursalāt: 27).
|
077.027 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein ?
|
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاءً فُرَاتاً |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 28).
|
077.028 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Anţaliqū 'Ilá Mā Kuntum Bihi Tukadhdhibūna (Al-Mursalāt: 29).
|
077.029 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny;
|
انطَلِقُوا إِلَى مَا كُنتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Anţaliqū 'Ilá Žillin Dhī Thalāthi Shu`abin (Al-Mursalāt: 30).
|
077.030 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold,
|
انطَلِقُوا إِلَى ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلاَثِ شُعَبٍ |
| Lā Žalīlin Wa Lā Yughnī Mina Al-Lahabi (Al-Mursalāt: 31).
|
077.031 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame.
|
لاَ ظَلِيلٍ وَلاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ |
| 'Innahā Tarmī Bishararin Kālqaşri (Al-Mursalāt: 32).
|
077.032 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles,
|
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ |
| Ka'annahu Jimālatun Şufrun (Al-Mursalāt: 33).
|
077.033 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue.
|
كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَةٌ صُفْرٌ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 34).
|
077.034 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Hādhā Yawmu Lā Yanţiqūna (Al-Mursalāt: 35).
|
077.035 This is a day wherein they speak not,
|
هَذَا يَوْمُ لاَ يَنطِقُونَ |
| Wa Lā Yu'udhanu Lahum Faya`tadhirūna (Al-Mursalāt: 36).
|
077.036 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.
|
وَلاَ يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 37).
|
077.037 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Hādhā Yawmu Al-Faşli ۖ Jama`nākum Wa Al-'Awwalīna (Al-Mursalāt: 38).
|
077.038 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.
|
هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالأَوَّلِينَ |
| Fa'in Kāna Lakum Kaydun Fakīdūni (Al-Mursalāt: 39).
|
077.039 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me.
|
فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 40).
|
077.040 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Inna Al-Muttaqīna Fī Žilālin Wa `Uyūnin (Al-Mursalāt: 41).
|
077.041 Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains,
|
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلاَلٍ وَعُيُونٍ |
| Wa Fawākiha Mimmā Yashtahūna (Al-Mursalāt: 42).
|
077.042 And fruits such as they desire.
|
وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ |
| Kulū Wa Ashrabū Hanī'āan Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna (Al-Mursalāt: 43).
|
077.043 (Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did.
|
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئاً بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| 'Innā Kadhālika Najzī Al-Muĥsinīna (Al-Mursalāt: 44).
|
077.044 Thus do We reward the good.
|
إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 45).
|
077.045 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Kulū Wa Tamatta`ū Qalīlāan 'Innakum Mujrimūna (Al-Mursalāt: 46).
|
077.046 Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty.
|
كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلاً إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 47).
|
077.047 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahumu Arka`ū Lā Yarka`ūna (Al-Mursalāt: 48).
|
077.048 When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down!
|
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لاَ يَرْكَعُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna (Al-Mursalāt: 49).
|
077.049 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
|
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Fabi'ayyi Ĥadīthin Ba`dahu Yu'uminūna (Al-Mursalāt: 50).
|
077.050 In what statement, after this, will they believe ?
|
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
