'Idhā As-Samā'u Anfaţarat  | When the heaven is cleft asunder. (Al-Infitar 82:1) | إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-Kawākibu Antatharat  | And when the stars have fallen and scattered; (Al-Infitar 82:2) | وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-Biĥāru Fujjirat  | And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); (Al-Infitar 82:3) | وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-Qubūru Bu`thirat  | And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) (Al-Infitar 82:4) | وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ |
`Alimat Nafsun Mā Qaddamat Wa 'Akhkharat  | (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). (Al-Infitar 82:5) | عَلِمَتْ نَفْس ٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ |
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu Mā Gharraka Birabbika Al-Karīmi  | O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? (Al-Infitar 82:6) | يَاأَيُّهَا الإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ |
Al-Ladhī Khalaqaka Fasawwāka Fa`adalaka  | Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; (Al-Infitar 82:7) | الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ |
Fī 'Ayyi Şūratin Mā Shā'a Rakkabaka  | In whatever form He willed, He put you together. (Al-Infitar 82:8) | فِي أَيِّ صُورَة ٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ |
Kallā Bal Tukadhdhibūna Bid-Dīni  | Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). (Al-Infitar 82:9) | كَلاَّ بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ |
Wa 'Inna `Alaykum Laĥāfižīna  | But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you, (Al-Infitar 82:10) | وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ |
Kirāmāan Kātibīna  | Kirāman (honourable) Kātibīn writing down (your deeds), (Al-Infitar 82:11) | كِرَاما ً كَاتِبِينَ |
Ya`lamūna Mā Taf`alūna  | They know all that you do. (Al-Infitar 82:12) | يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ |
'Inna Al-'Abrāra Lafī Na`īmin  | Verily, the Abrār (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); (Al-Infitar 82:13) | إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيم ٍ |
Wa 'Inna Al-Fujjāra Lafī Jaĥīmin  | And verily, the Fujjār (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), (Al-Infitar 82:14) | وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيم ٍ |
Yaşlawnahā Yawma Ad-Dīni  | In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, (Al-Infitar 82:15) | يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ |
Wa Mā Hum `Anhā Bighā'ibīna  | And they (Al-Fujjār) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). (Al-Infitar 82:16) | وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ |
Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Ad-Dīni  | And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? (Al-Infitar 82:17) | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ |
Thumma Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Ad-Dīni  | Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? (Al-Infitar 82:18) | ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ |
Yawma Lā Tamliku Nafsun Linafsin Shay'āan Wa Al-'Amru Yawma'idhin Lillāhi  | (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allāh. (Al-Infitar 82:19) | يَوْمَ لاَ تَمْلِكُ نَفْس ٌ لِنَفْس ٍ شَيْئا ً وَالأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلَّهِ |
