77) Sūratālmursalāt | Printed format | 77) سُورَةَالْمُرْسَلاَت |
| Wa Al-Mursalāti `Urfāan | By the emissary winds, which are sent forth one after another.[77.1] | وَالْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفاً |
| Fāl`āşifāti `Aşfāan | By the raging hurricanes.[77.2] | فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفاً |
| Wa An-Nāshirāti Nashrāan | By the winds that lift up and scatter the clouds to their distant places,[77.3] | وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْراً |
| Fālfāriqāti Farqāan | then separate them one from another.[77.4] | فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقاً |
| Fālmulqiyāti Dhikrāan | By those who bring down the reminder,[77.5] | فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْراً |
| `Udhrāan 'Aw Nudhrāan | either to remove the excuse or to convey the warning.[77.6] | عُذْراً أَوْ نُذْراً |
| 'Innamā Tū`adūna Lawāqi`un | Surely, that which you are being promised, shall be fulfilled.[77.7] | إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ |
| Fa'idhā An-Nujūmu Ţumisat | It is going to be fulfilled when the stars will lose their light,[77.8] | فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā As-Samā'u Furijat | heaven will cleft asunder,[77.9] | وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-Jibālu Nusifat | the mountains will crumble into dust,[77.10] | وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Ar-Rusulu 'Uqqitat | and when the Rasools will be brought together at the appointed time.[77.11] | وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ |
| L'ayyi Yawmin 'Ujjilat | For what Day has all this been deferred?[77.12] | لأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ |
| Liyawmi Al-Faşli | For the Day of Judgment![77.13] | لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Al-Faşli | And what will explain to you, what the Day of Judgment is?[77.14] | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.15] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Nuhliki Al-'Awwalīna | Did We not destroy the former generations for their evil deeds?[77.16] | أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الأَوَّلِينَ |
| Thumma Nutbi`uhumu Al-'Ākhirīna | And We shall do the same to later generations who will follow them.[77.17] | ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الآخِرِينَ |
| Kadhālika Naf`alu Bil-Mujrimīna | Thus do We deal with the guilty.[77.18] | كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.19] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Nakhluqkum Min Mā'in Mahīnin | Have We not created you from an unworthy fluid,[77.20] | أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ |
| Faja`alnāhu Fī Qarārin Makīnin | which We placed in a secure resting-place (womb),[77.21] | فَجَعَلْنَاهُُفِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ |
| 'Ilá Qadarin Ma`lūmin | for an appointed term?[77.22] | إِلَى قَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ |
| Faqadarnā Fani`ma Al-Qādirūna | We have estimated its term - how excellent an estimator We are![77.23] | فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.24] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Naj`ali Al-'Arđa Kifātāan | Have We not made the earth a home for both[77.25] | أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الأَرْضَ كِفَاتاً |
| 'Aĥyā'an Wa 'Amwātāan | the living and the dead,[77.26] | أَحْيَا وَأَمْوَاتاً |
| Wa Ja`alnā Fīhā Rawāsiya Shāmikhātin Wa 'Asqaynākum Mā'an Furātāan | set on it lofty mountains, and given you sweet water to drink?[77.27] | وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاءً فُرَاتاً |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.28] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Anţaliqū 'Ilá Mā Kuntum Bihi Tukadhdhibūna | On the Day of Judgment it will be said to the disbelievers: “Walk on to hell which you used deny![77.29] | انطَلِقُوا إِلَى مَا كُنتُمْ بِهِِ تُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Anţaliqū 'Ilá Žillin Dhī Thalāthi Shu`abin | Walk on to the shadow of smoke ascending in three columns,[77.30] | انطَلِقُوا إِلَى ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلاَثِ شُعَبٍ |
| Lā Žalīlin Wa Lā Yughnī Mina Al-Lahabi | giving neither coolness nor shelter from the flames,[77.31] | لاَ ظَلِيلٍ وَلاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ |
| 'Innahā Tarmī Bishararin Kālqaşri | throwing up sparks as huge as castles,[77.32] | إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ |
| Ka'annahu Jimālatun Şufrun | as if they were yellow camels."[77.33 ] | كَأَنَّهُُجِمَالَةٌ صُفْرٌ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.34] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Hādhā Yawmu Lā Yanţiqūna | On that Day, they shall not be able to speak,[77.35] | هَذَا يَوْمُ لاَ يَنطِقُونَ |
| Wa Lā Yu'udhanu Lahum Faya`tadhirūna | nor be given permission to offer their excuses.[77.36] | وَلاَ يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.37] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Hādhā Yawmu Al-Faşli Jama`nākum Wa Al-'Awwalīna | Such will be the Day of Judgment. We shall assemble you and your past generations.[77.38] | هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالأَوَّلِينَ |
| Fa'in Kāna Lakum Kaydun Fakīdūni | Now if you have a plot, use it against Me.[77.39] | فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.40] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Inna Al-Muttaqīna Fī Žilālin Wa `Uyūnin | Surely the righteous shall dwell amidst cool shades and springs[77.41] | إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلاَلٍ وَعُيُونٍ |
| Wa Fawākiha Mimmā Yashtahūna | and shall have whatever fruits they desire.[77.42] | وَفَوَاكِهََ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ |
| Kulū Wa Ashrabū Hanī'āan Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna | We shall say to them: “Eat and drink to your heart’s content, this is the reward for your good deeds."[77.43] | كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئاً بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| 'Innā Kadhālika Najzī Al-Muĥsinyna | Thus shall We reward the righteous.[77.44] | إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنينَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.45] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Kulū Wa Tamatta`ū Qalīlāan 'Innakum Mujrimūna | Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while. Surely you are criminals.[77.46] | كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلاً إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.47] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahumu Arka`ū Lā Yarka`ūna | When they are asked to bow down before Allah, they do not bow down.[77.48] | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لاَ يَرْكَعُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | Woe on that Day to the disbelievers![77.49] | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Fabi'ayyi Ĥadīthin Ba`dahu Yu'uminūna | In what statement after this Qur’an, will they believe?[77.50] | فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُُيُؤْمِنُونَ |
