| Ĥā-Mīm | Hم M'ïm.[46.1] | حَا-مِيم |
| Tanzīlu Al-Kitābi Mina Al-Lahi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥakīmi | This Book is revealed by Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.[46.2] | تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ |
| Mā Khalaqnā As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Mā Baynahumā 'Illā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Ajalin Musammáan Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Ammā 'Undhirū Mu`riđūna | We created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them to manifest the truth and to last for an appointed term. Yet the disbelievers give no heed to Our warning.[46.3] | مَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُسَمّىً وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَمَّا أُنْذِرُوا مُعْرِضُونَ |
| Qul 'Ara'aytum Mā Tad`ūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi 'Arūnī Mādhā Khalaqū Mina Al-'Arđi 'Am Lahum Shirkun Fī As-Samāwāti Ai'tūnī Bikitābin Min Qabli Hādhā 'Aw 'Athāratin Min `Ilmin 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna | Ask them: “Have you pondered on those whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me anything that they have created in the earth, or do they have any share in the creation of the heavens? Bring me any Book revealed before this, or some remnant of divine knowledge in support of your beliefs if you are telling the truth."[46.4] | قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ اِئْتُونِي بِكِتَابٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ هَذَا أَوْ أَثَارَةٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ |
| Wa Man 'Ađallu Mimman Yad`ū Min Dūni Al-Lahi Man Lā Yastajību Lahu 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Wa Hum `An Du`ā'ihim Ghāfilūna | And who could be more astray than the one who invokes those deities besides Allah who cannot answer him till the Day of Resurrection - which, in fact, are not even aware that they are being invoked?[46.5] | وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَنْ لاَ يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ~ُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَائِهِمْ غَافِلُونَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Ĥushira An-Nāsu Kānū Lahum 'A`dā'an Wa Kānū Bi`ibādatihim Kāfirīna | And when mankind shall be assembled on the Day of Judgment, they will become enemies of those who invoked them and deny their worship altogether.[46.6] | وَإِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُوا لَهُمْ أَعْدَا وَكَانُوا بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَافِرِينَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Tutlá `Alayhim 'Āyātunā Bayyinātin Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilĥaqqi Lammā Jā'ahum Hādhā Siĥrun Mubīnun | When Our revelations are recited to them, clear as they are, and the truth comes before them, the disbelievers say: “This is plain magic.”[46.7] | وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ |
| 'Am Yaqūlūna Aftarāhu Qul 'Ini Aftaraytuhu Falā Tamlikūna Lī Mina Al-Lahi Shay'āan Huwa 'A`lamu Bimā Tufīđūna Fīhi Kafá Bihi Shahīdāan Baynī Wa Baynakum Wa Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu | Do they say that the Prophet has fabricated it himself? O Prophet, tell them: “If I have fabricated it myself, then there is nothing that you can do to protect me from the wrath of Allah. He knows fully well what you say about it. Enough is He as a witness between me and you. He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.”[46.8] | أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُُقُلْ إِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهُُفَلاَ تَمْلِكُونَ لِي مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئاً هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِِ كَفَى بِهِِ شَهِيداً بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ |
| Qul Mā Kuntu Bid`āan Mina Ar-Rusuli Wa Mā 'Adrī Mā Yuf`alu Bī Wa Lā Bikum 'In 'Attabi`u 'Illā Mā Yūĥá 'Ilayya Wa Mā 'Anā 'Illā Nadhīrun Mubīnun | O Prophet tell them: “I am no prodigy among the Rasools; nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow only what is revealed to me, and I am no more than a plain Warner."*[46.9] | قُلْ مَا كُنْتُ بِدْعاً مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَمَا أَدْرِي مَا يُفْعَلُ بِي وَلاَ بِكُمْ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا إِلاَّ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ |
| Qul 'Ara'aytum 'In Kāna Min `Indi Al-Lahi Wa Kafartum Bihi Wa Shahida Shāhidun Min Banī 'Isrā'īla `Alá Mithlihi Fa'āmana Wa Astakbartum 'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna | Further say: “Think, if this Qur’an is indeed from Allah and you reject it, when a witness (a Jew) from the Children of Israel has also testified to its similarity with earlier scriptures and has believed (accepted Islam), while you are showing arrogance, how unjust you are! Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."[46.10] | قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُمْ بِهِِ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى مِثْلِهِِ فَآمَنَ وَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Law Kāna Khayrāan Mā Sabaqūnā 'Ilayhi Wa 'Idh Lam Yahtadū Bihi Fasayaqūlūna Hādhā 'Ifkun Qadīmun | The unbelievers say about the believers: “Had there been any good to believe in the message of the Qur’an, they would not have believed in it before us (because the unbelievers were strong and wealthy whereas believers were weak and poor)." And since they reject its guidance, they say: “This is an ancient falsehood."[46.11] | وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْ كَانَ خَيْراً مَا سَبَقُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِذْ لَمْ يَهْتَدُوا بِهِِ فَسَيَقُولُونَ هَذَا إِفْكٌ قَدِيمٌ |
| Wa Min Qablihi Kitābu Mūsá 'Imāmāan Wa Raĥmatan Wa Hadhā Kitābun Muşaddiqun Lisānāan `Arabīyāan Liyundhira Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Wa Bushrá Lilmuĥsinīna | Yet before it the Book of Musa was revealed which was a guide and blessing; and this Book (Qur’an) confirms it. It is revealed in the Arabic language to forewarn the wrongdoers and to give good news to those who have adopted the righteous conduct.[46.12] | وَمِنْ قَبْلِهِِ كِتَابُ مُوسَى إِمَاماً وَرَحْمَةً وَهَذَا كِتَابٌ مُصَدِّق ٌ لِسَاناً عَرَبِيّاً لِيُنْذِرَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَبُشْرَى لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Qālū Rabbunā Al-Lahu Thumma Astaqāmū Falā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna | Indeed those who say: “Our Rabb is Allah, and then remain firm shall have nothing to fear or to regret.[46.13] | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ |
| 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jannati Khālidīna Fīhā Jazā'an Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna | They shall dwell in paradise forever as a reward for their good deeds.[46.14] | أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |
| Wa Waşşaynā Al-'Insāna Biwālidayhi 'Iĥsānāan Ĥamalat/hu 'Ummuhu Kurhāan Wa Wađa`at/hu Kurhāan Wa Ĥamluhu Wa Fişāluhu Thalāthūna Shahrāan Ĥattá 'Idhā Balagha 'Ashuddahu Wa Balagha 'Arba`īna Sanatan Qāla Rabbi 'Awzi`nī 'An 'Ashkura Ni`mataka Allatī 'An`amta `Alayya Wa `Alá Wa A-Dayya Wa 'An 'A`mala Şāliĥāan Tarđāhu Wa 'Aşliĥ Lī Fī Dhurrīyatī 'Innī Tubtu 'Ilayka Wa 'Innī Mina Al-Muslimīna | We have enjoined upon man to treat his parents with kindness. With much trouble his mother bore him, and with much pain did she give him birth. His bearing and his weaning took thirty months. When he reaches the age of full strength and becomes forty years old, he says: “My Rabb! Grant me the grace that I may thank you for the favors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good deeds that will please You, and grant me good children. Surely I turn to You in repentance and surely I am of those who are Muslims."[46.15] | وَوَصَّيْنَا الإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَاناً حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُُكُرْهاً وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهاً وَحَمْلُهُُوَفِصَالُهُُثَلاَثُونَ شَهْراً حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُُوَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحاً تَرْضَاهُُوَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ |
| 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Nataqabbalu `Anhum 'Aĥsana Mā `Amilū Wa Natajāwazu `An Sayyi'ātihim Fī 'Aşĥābi Al-Jannati Wa`da Aş-Şidqi Al-Ladhī Kānū Yū`adūna | Such are the people from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and overlook their misdeeds. They shall be among the residents of paradise: true is the promise that has been made to them in this life.[46.16] | أُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَنَتَجاوَزُ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْجَنَّةِ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ |
| Wa Al-Ladhī Qāla Liwālidayhi 'Uffin Lakumā 'Ata`idāninī 'An 'Ukhraja Wa Qad Khalati Al-Qurūnu Min Qablī Wa Humā Yastaghīthāni Al-Laha Waylaka 'Āmin 'Inna Wa`da Al-Lahi Ĥaqqun Fayaqūlu Mā Hādhā 'Illā 'Asāţīru Al-'Awwalīna | But he who rebukes his parents and says: “Uff (as if to say, do not bother me)! Do you threaten me with a resurrection, whereas many a generations have passed before me and none has come back from among them?” And they both cry for Allah’s help and say: “Woe to you! Be a good believer. Surely the promise of Allah is true." But he replies: “This is nothing but tales of the ancients."[46.17] | وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِنْ قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُالأَوَّلِينَ |
| 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Ĥaqqa `Alayhimu Al-Qawlu Fī 'Umamin Qad Khalat Min Qablihim Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi 'Innahum Kānū Khāsirīna | Such are the people against whom the verdict of torment has proved true and they will be among the prior people of the jinns and the men that have passed away before them. Indeed they will be the losers.[46.18] | أُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ |
| Wa Likullin Darajātun Mimmā `Amilū Wa Liyuwaffiyahum 'A`mālahum Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna | All will be assigned in ranks, according to their deeds, so that He may reward them fully for what they have done and they shall not be wronged.[46.19] | وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِمَّا عَمِلُوا وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ |
| Wa Yawma Yu`rađu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Alá An-Nāri 'Adh/habtum Ţayyibātikum Fī Ĥayātikumu Ad-Dunyā Wa Astamta`tum Bihā Fālyawma Tujzawna `Adhāba Al-Hūni Bimā Kuntum Tastakbirūna Fī Al-'Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Bimā Kuntum Tafsuqūna | On that Day when the disbelievers will be brought before the fire, they will be told: “You squandered away your good things in your earthly life and you enjoyed them for a while. Today you shall be recompensed with a punishment of humiliation because you behaved with arrogance for which you had no right during your life on earth and because of the transgressions you committed."[46.20] | وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَذْهَبْتُمْ طَيِّبَاتِكُمْ فِي حَيَاتِكُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهَا فَالْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَفْسُقُونَ |
| Wa Adhkur 'Akhā `Ādin 'Idh 'Andhara Qawmahu Bil-'Aĥqāfi Wa Qad Khalati An-Nudhuru Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi 'Allā Ta`budū 'Illā Al-Laha 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin | Tell them the story of ‘Ad’s brother, the Prophet Hüd, when he warned his people, the residents of Ahqمf - in fact Warners came to them before him and after him - saying: “Worship none but Allah. Surely I fear for you the torment of a mighty Day."[46.21] | وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهُُبِالأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُوا إِلاَّ اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ |
| Qālū 'Aji'tanā Lita'fikanā `An 'Ālihatinā Fa'tinā Bimā Ta`idunā 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna | They replied: “Have you come to turn us away from our gods? Bring us the torment that you threaten us with, if you are telling the truth.”[46.22] | قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ |
| Qāla 'Innamā Al-`Ilmu `Inda Al-Lahi Wa 'Uballighukum Mā 'Ursiltu Bihi Wa Lakinnī 'Arākum Qawmāan Tajhalūna | The Prophet Hüd said: “The Knowledge of when it is going to come is only with Allah. I am only conveying the Message with which I have been sent, however, I can see that you are ignorant people."[46.23] | قَالَ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُمْ مَا أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِِ وَلَكِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ قَوْماً تَجْهَلُونَ |
| Falammā Ra'awhu `Āriđāan Mustaqbila 'Awdiyatihim Qālū Hādhā `Āriđun Mumţirunā Bal Huwa Mā Asta`jaltum Bihi Rīĥun Fīhā `Adhābun 'Alīmun | Then when they saw the torment in the shape of a cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: “This cloud will bring us rain." - "Nay! It is what you were asking for, a fierce wind bringing you a woeful torment.[46.24] | فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضاً مُسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَا بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُمْ بِهِِ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |
| Tudammiru Kulla Shay'in Bi'amri Rabbihā Fa'aşbaĥū Lā Yurá 'Illā Masākinuhum Kadhālika Najzī Al-Qawma Al-Mujrimīna | It is going to destroy everything by the command of its Rabb. Consequently by the morning, there was nothing to be seen except the ruins of their dwellings. Thus did We reward those guilty people.[46.25] | تُدَمِّرُكُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا لاَ يُرَى إِلاَّ مَسَاكِنُهُمْ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ |
| Wa Laqad Makkannāhum Fīmā 'In Makkannākum Fīhi Wa Ja`alnā Lahum Sam`āan Wa 'Abşārāan Wa 'Af'idatan Famā 'Aghná `Anhum Sam`uhum Wa Lā 'Abşāruhum Wa Lā 'Af'idatuhum Min Shay'in 'Idh Kānū Yajĥadūna Bi'āyāti Al-Lahi Wa Ĥāqa Bihim Mā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn | We had established them much better than We have established you, O Qureysh of Makkah, and endowed them with the faculties of hearing, seeing, and intellect. Yet their faculties of hearing, sight and intellect availed them nothing since they denied the revelations of Allah; and they were completely hemmed in by the same thing that they used to mock at.[46.26] | وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِيمَا إِنْ مَكَّنَّاكُمْ فِيهِِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعاً وَأَبْصَاراً وَأَفْئِدَةً فَمَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلاَ أَبْصَارُهُمْ وَلاَ أَفْئِدَتُهُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِذْ كَانُوا يَجْحَدُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون |
| Wa Laqad 'Ahlaknā Mā Ĥawlakum Mina Al-Qurá Wa Şarrafnā Al-'Āyāti La`allahum Yarji`ūna | We have destroyed the towns which once flourished around you - and We repeatedly sent them Our revelations so that they may turn to the Right Way.[46.27] | وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُمْ مِنَ الْقُرَى وَصَرَّفْنَا الآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |
| Falawlā Naşarahumu Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Min Dūni Al-Lahi Qurbānāan 'Ālihatan Bal Đallū `Anhum Wa Dhalika 'Ifkuhum Wa Mā Kānū Yaftarūna | - Then Why did not those whom they worshipped besides Allah help them who they regarded as a means of attaining nearness to Him? But those deities utterly forsook them, because those were nothing but their lies and their false inventions.[46.28] | فَلَوْلاَ نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ قُرْبَاناً آلِهَةً بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْ وَذَلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ |
| Wa 'Idh Şarafnā 'Ilayka Nafarāan Mina Al-Jinni Yastami`ūna Al-Qur'āna Falammā Ĥađarūhu Qālū 'Anşitū Falammā Quđiya Wa Llaw 'Ilá Qawmihim Mundhirīna | Tell them how We brought to you a group of jinns, who when they reached the place where you were reciting and listened to the Qur’an, said to each other: “Be silent." When the recitation was over, they returned to their people as warners.[46.29] | وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَراً مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُُقَالُوا أَنْصِتُوا فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ |
| Qālū Yā Qawmanā 'Innā Sami`nā Kitābāan 'Unzila Min Ba`di Mūsá Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Yahdī 'Ilá Al-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Ilá Ţarīqin Mustaqīmin | They said “O our people! We have just listened to a Book that has been revealed after Musa which is confirming that what came before it, and it guides to the truth and to the Right Way.[46.30] | قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَاباً أُنْزِلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسَى مُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَى طَرِيقٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ |
| Yā Qawmanā 'Ajībū Dā`iya Al-Lahi Wa 'Āminū Bihi Yaghfir Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yujirkum Min `Adhābin 'Alīmin | O our people, answer the one who is calling you towards Allah and believe in him! Allah will forgive you your sins and save you from a painful punishment.[46.31] | يَا قَوْمَنَا أَجِيبُوا دَاعِيَ اللَّهِ وَآمِنُوا بِهِِ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُجِرْكُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ |
| Wa Man Lā Yujib Dā`iya Al-Lahi Falaysa Bimu`jizin Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Laysa Lahu Min Dūnihi 'Awliyā'u 'Ūlā'ika Fī Đalālin Mubīnin | He that does not answer the one who is calling towards Allah, shall neither escape in the earth, nor shall have any to protect from Him. Surely such people are in manifest error."[46.32] | وَمَنْ لاَ يُجِبْ دَاعِيَ اللَّهِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُعْجِزٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُُمِنْ دُونِهِ أَولِيَاءُ أُوْلَائِكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ مُبِينٍ |
| 'Awalam Yaraw 'Anna Al-Laha Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Lam Ya`ya Bikhalqihinna Biqādirin `Alá 'An Yuĥyiya Al-Mawtá Balá 'Innahu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun | Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and was not wearied by their creation, has the power to raise the dead to life? Why not! Surely He has the power over everything.[46.33] | أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْيَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى بَلَى إِنَّهُُعَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |
| Wa Yawma Yu`rađu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Alá An-Nāri 'Alaysa Hādhā Bil-Ĥaqqi Qālū Balá Wa Rabbinā Qāla Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Takfurūna | On the Day when the unbelievers will be brought before the fire, Allah will ask: “Is this not real?” “Yes, by our Rabb!” They will answer. “Well, then taste the punishment now,” Will He reply, "in consequence of your disbelief."[46.34] | وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ قَالُوا بَلَى وَرَبِّنَا قَالَ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ |
| Fāşbir Kamā Şabara 'Ūlū Al-`Azmi Mina Ar-Rusuli Wa Lā Tasta`jil Lahum Ka'annahum Yawma Yarawna Mā Yū`adūna Lam Yalbathū 'Illā Sā`atan Min Nahārin Balāghun Fahal Yuhlaku 'Illā Al-Qawmu Al-Fāsiqūna | Therefore, bear with them with patience, as did the Rasools endowed with firmness of purpose before you, and do not be in haste about them. On the Day when they shall see that which they are being threatened with, their life on earth will seem to them as if they had lived no more than an hour of a day. The Message of forewarning has been conveyed. Shall any be destroyed except the transgressors?[46.35] | فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُوْلُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلاَ تَسْتَعْجِلْ لَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلاَّ سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ بَلاَغٌ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلاَّ الْقَوْمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ |
