Ta‍‍n‍‍z‍‍ī‍‍lu A‍‍l-Kit‍‍ā‍‍bi Mina A‍‍l-Lahi A‍‍l-`Az‍‍ī‍‍zi A‍‍l-Ĥak‍‍ī‍‍m‍‍i The revelation of this Book (AL-Qur’an) is from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.[39.1]تَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍ز‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زِ‌ ‌الْحَك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مِ
'I‍‍nn‍‍ā 'A‍‍n‍‍zaln‍‍ā 'Ilayka A‍‍l-Kit‍‍ā‍‍ba Bil-Ĥaqqi Fā`budi A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a Mu‍‍kh‍‍lişāa‍‍n Lahu A‍‍d-D‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Certainly We have revealed to you the Book with the Truth: therefore worship Allah, offering Him your sincere obedience.[39.2]‌إِنَّ‍ا أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَ‍ا إِلَيْكَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ بِ‍الْحَقِّ فَ‍اعْبُدِ‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ مُخْلِصاً لَهُ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
'Alā Lillahi A‍‍d-D‍‍ī‍‍nu A‍‍l-‍‍Kh‍‍ālişu Wa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na A‍‍tta‍‍kh‍‍a‍‍dh‍‍ū Mi‍‍n Dūnih‍‍i 'Awliy‍‍ā‍‍'a Mā Na`buduhu‍‍m 'Illā Liyuqar‍‍r‍‍ibūn‍‍ā 'Ilá A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Zulf‍‍á 'I‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a Yaĥkumu Baynahu‍‍m Fī Mā Hu‍‍m F‍‍ī‍‍h‍‍i Ya‍‍kh‍‍talif‍‍ū‍‍na 'I‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Laha Lā Yahdī Man Huwa Kā‍‍dh‍‍ibu‍‍n Kaff‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍un Beware! Sincere true obedience is due to Allah Alone! As for those who take other guardians (worship the saints) besides Him and justify their conduct, saying: “We worship them only that they may bring us nearer to Allah.” Surely Allah will judge between them concerning all that in which they differ. Allah does not guide him who is a liar and a disbeliever.[39.3]‌أَلاَ‌ لِلَّهِ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نُ ‌الْخَالِصُ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّخَذُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ مَا‌ نَعْبُدُهُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ لِيُقَرِّبُونَ‍ا إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌زُلْفَ‍‍ى إِنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي مَا‌ هُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ‍ِ‍‌ يَخْتَلِف‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ لاَ‌ يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ‌ كَ‍ا‌ذِبٌ كَفّ‍‍َا‌رٌ
Law 'Ar‍‍ā‍‍da A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u 'A‍‍n Yatta‍‍kh‍‍i‍‍dh‍‍a Waladāa‍‍n Lāşţafá Mi‍‍mm‍‍ā Ya‍‍kh‍‍luqu Mā Ya‍‍sh‍‍ā‍‍'u Su‍‍b‍‍ĥāna‍‍hu Huwa A‍‍l-Lahu A‍‍l-Wāĥidu A‍‍l-Qahh‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍u If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen anyone He pleased out of His creation: Glory be to Him! (He is above such things.) He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible.[39.4]لَوْ أَ‌ر‍َ‌ادَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَد‌اً لاَصْطَفَى‌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍ا‌ يَخْلُقُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَهُُهُوَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌الْوَ‌احِدُ‌ ‌الْقَهّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌
Kh‍‍alaqa A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍ti Wa A‍‍l-'Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi Yukawwi‍‍r‍‍u A‍‍l-Layla `Alá A‍‍n‍‍-Nah‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍i Wa Yukawwi‍‍r‍‍u A‍‍n‍‍-Nah‍‍ā‍‍ra `Alá A‍‍l-Layli Wa Sa‍‍kh‍‍kh‍‍ara A‍‍sh‍‍-‍‍Sh‍‍a‍‍m‍‍sa Wa A‍‍l-Qamara Kullu‍‍n Ya‍‍j‍‍r‍‍ī Li'jali‍‍n Musa‍‍mm‍‍áan 'Alā Huwa A‍‍l-`Az‍‍ī‍‍zu A‍‍l-‍‍Gh‍‍aff‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍u He created the heavens and the earth to manifest the Truth. He causes the night to succeed the day and the day to overtake the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon to His law, each one following a course for an appointed term. Is He not the All-Mighty, the All-Forgiving?[39.5]خَلَقَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ بِ‍الْحَقِّ يُكَوِّ‌رُ‌ال‍‍لَّيْلَ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رِ ‌وَيُكَوِّ‌رُ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رَ‌ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّيْلِ ‌وَسَخَّرَ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌وَ‌الْقَمَرَ‌ كُلٌّ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي لِأجَلٍ مُسَ‍‍مّ‍‍ىً أَلاَ‌ هُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌الْغَفّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌
Kh‍‍alaqaku‍‍m Mi‍‍n Nafsi‍‍n Wāĥidati‍‍n Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Ja`ala Minhā Zawjahā Wa 'A‍‍n‍‍za‍‍la Laku‍‍m Mina A‍‍l-'An`ā‍‍m Th‍‍amāniyata 'Azw‍‍ā‍‍ji‍‍n Ya‍‍kh‍‍luquku‍‍m Fī Buţ‍‍ū‍‍ni 'U‍‍mm‍‍ahātiku‍‍m Kh‍‍alqāa‍‍n Mi‍n‍ Ba`di Kh‍‍alqi‍‍n Fī Žulum‍‍ā‍‍ti‍‍n Th‍‍alā‍‍th‍‍i‍‍n Dh‍‍alikumu A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Rabbuku‍‍m Lahu A‍‍l-Mulku L‍‍ā 'Il‍‍ā‍‍h‍‍a 'Illā Huwa Fa'a‍‍nn‍‍á Tuşraf‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a He created you all from a single person, then from that person He created his mate. He also created for you eight head of cattle in pairs. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers in stages, one after another, in three layers of darkness. This is Allah, your Rabb. To Him belongs the sovereignty. There is no god but Him. How can you then turn away from Him?[39.6]خَلَقَكُ‍‍مْ مِ‍‍نْ نَفْسٍ ‌وَ‌احِدَةٍ ثُ‍‍مَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَ‌وْجَهَا وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلَ لَكُ‍‍مْ مِنَ ‌الأَنعَام ثَمَانِيَةَ ‌أَ‌زْ‌و‍َ‍‌اجٍ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِي بُط‍‍ُ‍ونِ ‌أُمَّ‍‍هَاتِكُمْ خَلْقاً مِ‍‍نْ بَعْدِ‌ خَلْقٍ فِي ظُلُم‍‍َاتٍ ثَلاَثٍ ‌ذَلِكُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ‌الْمُلْكُ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ‌ فَأَنَّ‍‍ى‌ تُصْرَف‍‍ُ‍ونَ
'I‍‍n Takfurū Fa'i‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a Gh‍‍an‍‍ī‍‍yun `A‍‍n‍‍ku‍‍m Wa Lā Yarđá Li`ibādihi A‍‍l-Kufra Wa 'I‍‍n Ta‍‍sh‍‍kurū Yarđah‍‍u Laku‍‍m Wa Lā Tazi‍‍r‍‍u Wāziratu‍‍n Wizra 'U‍‍kh‍‍rá Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a 'Ilá Rabbiku‍‍m Marji`uku‍‍m Fayunabbi'uku‍‍m Bimā Ku‍‍n‍‍tu‍‍m Ta`mal‍‍ū‍‍na 'I‍‍nn‍‍ah‍‍u `Al‍‍ī‍‍mu‍n‍ Bi‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍ti A‍‍ş-Şud‍‍ū‍‍r‍‍i If you disbelieve, then you should know that Allah does not need you. He does not like ingratitude from His servants. Therefore, if you are grateful He is pleased with you. On the Day of Judgement, no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Ultimately, all of you have to return to your Rabb. Then He will tell you the truth of all that you did in this life. Surely He knows even the secrets of your hearts.[39.7]‌إِ‌نْ تَكْفُرُ‌وا فَإِنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَرْضَى‌ لِعِبَا‌دِهِ ‌الْكُفْرَ وَ‌إِ‌نْ تَشْكُرُ‌وا يَرْضَهُُلَكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَزِ‌رُ‌وَ‌ا‌زِ‌رَةٌ ‌وِ‌زْ‌رَ أُخْرَ‌ى‌ ثُ‍‍مَّ ‌إِلَى رَبِّكُ‍‍مْ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُ‍‍مْ بِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُُعَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِذ‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍صُّد‍ُ‍‌و‌رِ
‌ Wa 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā Massa A‍‍l-'I‍‍n‍‍s‍‍ā‍‍na Đurru‍‍n Da`ā Rabbah‍‍u Munībāan 'Ilayhi Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā Kh‍‍awwalah‍‍u Ni`mata‍‍n Minhu Nasiya Mā K‍‍ā‍‍na Ya‍‍d‍‍`‍‍ū 'Ilayhi Mi‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍lu Wa Ja`ala Lillahi 'A‍‍n‍‍dādāa‍‍n Liyuđilla `A‍‍n Sabīlih‍‍i Qul Tamatta` Bikuf‍‍r‍‍ika Qalīlāan 'I‍‍nn‍‍aka Min 'Aşĥ‍‍ā‍‍bi A‍‍n‍‍-N‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍i When some trouble befalls man, he cries to his Rabb and turns to Him in repentance; but no sooner does He bestow on him His favor than he forgets what he has prayed for and sets up rivals to Allah, thus misleading others from His Way. Tell such people: “Enjoy your unbelief for a little while; certainly you will be of the inmates of hellfire.”[39.8]‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ مَسَّ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ ضُرٌّ ‌دَعَا رَبَّهُُمُنِيباً ‌إِلَيْهِ ثُ‍‍مَّ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ خَوَّلَهُُنِعْمَةً مِنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ يَ‍‍دْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ‌وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍دَ‌ا‌د‌اً لِيُضِلَّ عَ‍‌‍نْ سَبِيلِهِ‍ِ‍‌ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْ‍‍رِكَ قَلِيلاً ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ مِنْ ‌أَصْح‍‍َابِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ
'A‍‍mm‍‍an Huwa Qānitun '‍‍Ā‍‍n‍‍ā‍‍'a A‍‍l-Layli Sājidāa‍‍n Wa Q‍‍ā‍‍'imāa‍‍n Yaĥ‍‍dh‍‍aru A‍‍l-'‍‍Ā‍‍kh‍‍irata Wa Yarjū Raĥmata Rabbih‍‍i Qul Hal Yastawī A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Ya`lam‍‍ū‍‍na Wa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Lā Ya`lam‍‍ū‍‍na 'I‍‍nn‍‍amā Yata‍‍dh‍‍akkaru '‍‍Ū‍‍lū A‍‍l-'Alb‍‍ā‍‍b‍‍i Can he who is obedient, pass the hours of night prostrating in worship or standing in adoration, fearing the hereafter and hoping to earn the Mercy of his Rabb, be compared to the man who does not? Are the knowledgeable and the ignorant equal? In fact, none will take heed except the people of understanding.[39.9]‌أَمَّ‍‍نْ هُوَ‌ قَانِتٌ ‌آن‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍‍لَّيْلِ سَاجِد‌اً ‌وَقَائِماً يَحْذَ‌رُ‌ ‌الآخِرَةَ ‌وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ ‌رَبِّهِ‍ِ‍‌ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يَتَذَكَّرُ أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الأَلْب‍‍َابِ
Qul Yā `Ib‍‍ā‍‍di A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na '‍‍Ā‍‍manū A‍‍ttaqū Rabbaku‍‍m Lilla‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na 'Aĥsanū Fī Ha‍‍dh‍‍ihi A‍‍d-Du‍‍n‍‍yā Ĥasanatu‍‍n Wa 'Arđu A‍‍l-Lahi Wāsi`atun 'I‍‍nn‍‍amā Yuwaffá A‍‍ş-Şābir‍‍ū‍‍na 'A‍‍j‍‍rahu‍‍m Bi‍‍gh‍‍ay‍‍r‍‍i Ĥis‍‍ā‍‍b‍‍in Say: “O My servants who have truly believed, fear your Rabb; those who will do good deeds in this world shall receive a good reward. If it has become difficult to follow the Right Way where you live, then migrate, you will find that Allah’s earth is spacious. Those who endure with patience will be rewarded without measure."[39.10]قُلْ يَاعِب‍‍َا‌دِ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌اتَّقُوا ‌رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ ‌ال‍‍دُّنْ‍‍يَا‌ حَسَنَةٌ ‌وَ‌أَ‌رْضُ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌وَ‌اسِعَةٌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يُوَفَّى‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّابِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌أَجْ‍‍رَهُ‍‍مْ بِغَيْ‍‍رِ حِس‍‍َاب‌ٍ
Qul 'I‍‍nn‍‍ī 'Umi‍‍r‍‍tu 'An 'A`buda A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a Mu‍‍kh‍‍lişāa‍‍n Lahu A‍‍d-D‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Say: “I am commanded to worship Allah and serve none but Him[39.11]قُلْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أُمِرْتُ ‌أَنْ ‌أَعْبُدَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ مُخْلِصاً لَهُ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa 'Umi‍‍r‍‍tu Li'n 'Ak‍‍ū‍‍na 'Awwala A‍‍l-Muslim‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a and I am commanded to be the first of those who submit to Allah in Islam."[39.12]‌وَ‌أُمِرْتُ لِأنْ ‌أَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌وَّلَ ‌الْمُسْلِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
Qul 'I‍‍nn‍‍ī 'A‍‍kh‍‍ā‍‍fu 'In `Aşaytu Rabbī `A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍ba Yawmin `Až‍‍ī‍‍m‍‍in Say: “Surely, I am afraid if I disobey my Rabb, the punishment of a mighty Day."[39.13]قُلْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَخ‍‍َافُ ‌إِنْ عَصَيْتُ ‌رَبِّي عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ يَوْمٍ عَظ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٍ
Quli A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a 'A`budu Mu‍‍kh‍‍lişāa‍‍n Lahu D‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍i Say: “Allah Alone I worship, and Him Alone I serve.[39.14]قُلِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ ‌أَعْبُدُ‌ مُخْلِصاً لَهُُ‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ
Fā`budū Mā Sh‍‍i'tu‍‍m Mi‍‍n Dūnih‍‍i Qul 'I‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-‍‍Kh‍‍āsi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍na A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Kh‍‍asir‍‍ū 'A‍‍n‍‍fusahu‍‍m Wa 'Ahlīhi‍‍m Yawma A‍‍l-Qiyāmati 'Alā Dh‍‍ālika Huwa A‍‍l-‍‍Kh‍‍usr‍‍ā‍‍nu A‍‍l-Mub‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍u As for yourselves, I have conveyed to you the Truth and if you do not believe, then worship what you want besides Him." Say: “The real losers are those who will lose their souls as well their families on the Day of Resurrection. Ah! That will indeed be an open Loss."[39.15]فَاعْبُدُ‌وا مَا‌ شِئْتُ‍‍مْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ‍ِ‍‌ قُلْ ‌إِنَّ ‌الْخَاسِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ خَسِرُ‌وا ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَهُمْ ‌وَ‌أَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ ‌الْقِيَامَةِ ‌أَلاَ ذَلِكَ هُوَ ‌الْخُسْر‍َ‍‌انُ ‌الْمُب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نُ
Lahu‍‍m Mi‍‍n Fawqihi‍‍m Žulalu‍‍n Mina A‍‍n‍‍-N‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍i Wa Mi‍‍n Taĥtihi‍‍m Žulalu‍‍n Dh‍‍ālika Yu‍‍kh‍‍awwifu A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Bih‍‍i `Ibādahu Yā `Ib‍‍ā‍‍di Fa A‍‍ttaq‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍i There shall be layers of fire above them and layers of fire beneath them. Such is the doom about which Allah wants His servants to have fear, and says: “O My servants, avoid My wrath."[39.16]لَهُ‍‍مْ مِ‍‌‍نْ فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ‌ذَلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ بِهِ‍ِ‍‌ عِبَا‌دَهُُيَاعِب‍‍َا‌دِ‌ فَ‍اتَّق‍‍ُ‍ونِ
Wa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na A‍‍j‍‍tanabū A‍‍ţ‍‍-Ţā‍‍gh‍‍ū‍‍ta 'A‍‍n Ya`budūhā Wa 'Anāb‍‍ū 'Ilá A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Lahumu A‍‍l-Bu‍‍sh‍‍rá Faba‍‍sh‍‍sh‍‍ir `Ib‍‍ā‍‍d‍‍i As for those who refrain from worshipping Tمghüt (Satanic forces) and turn to Allah in repentance, there is good news. So O Prophet, give good news to My servants[39.17]‌و‍َ‍‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اجْ‍‍تَنَبُوا ‌ال‍‍طَّاغ‍‍ُ‍وتَ ‌أَنْ يَعْبُدُ‌وهَا وَ‌أَنَابُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ لَهُمُ ‌الْبُشْرَ‌ى‌ فَبَشِّرْ‌ عِب‍‍َا‌دِ
Al-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Yastami`‍‍ū‍‍na A‍‍l-Qawla Fayattabi`‍‍ū‍‍na 'Aĥsanahu '‍‍Ū‍‍l‍‍ā‍‍'ika A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Hadāhumu A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Wa '‍‍Ū‍‍l‍‍ā‍‍'ika Hu‍‍m '‍‍Ū‍‍lū A‍‍l-'Alb‍‍ā‍‍b‍‍i who listen to the Word and follow the best meaning of it. Such are the ones whom Allah has guided and such are the ones who are endowed with understanding.[39.18]‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَسْتَمِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَحْسَنَهُ‍‍~ُ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلَائِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هَدَ‌اهُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلَائِكَ هُمْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الأَلْب‍‍َابِ
'Afaman Ĥaqqa `Alayhi Kalimatu A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bi 'Afa'a‍‍n‍‍ta Tu‍‍n‍‍qi‍‍dh‍‍u Ma‍‍n A‍‍n‍‍-N‍‍ā‍‍r‍‍i Is the one against whom the sentence of punishment has been decreed equal to the one who refrains from evil? Can you rescue the one who is in the fire? Of course not.[39.19]‌أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌أَفَأَ‌نْ‍‍تَ تُ‍‌‍ن‍‍قِذُ‌ مَ‍‌‍نْ فِي ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ
Lakini A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na A‍‍ttaqaw Rabbahu‍‍m Lahu‍‍m Gh‍‍urafu‍‍n Mi‍‍n Fawqihā Gh‍‍urafu‍‍n Ma‍‍b‍‍nīyatu‍‍n Ta‍‍j‍‍r‍‍ī Mi‍‍n Taĥtihā A‍‍l-'Anh‍‍ā‍‍ru Wa`da A‍‍l-Lahi Lā Yu‍‍kh‍‍lifu A‍‍l-Lahu A‍‍l-Mī`ā‍‍d As for those who truly fear their Rabb, they shall be lodged in lofty mansions, built with one story upon another, beneath which the rivers flow; this is the promise of Allah; Allah does not fail in His promise.[39.20]لَكِنِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّقَوْ‌ا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ فَوْقِهَا‌ غُرَفٌ مَ‍‍بْ‍‍نِيَّةٌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍نْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَنْه‍‍َا‌رُ وَعْدَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ لاَ‌ يُخْلِفُ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌الْمِيعَا‌د
'Ala‍‍m Tar‍‍á 'A‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a 'A‍‍n‍‍zala Mina A‍‍s-Sam‍‍ā‍‍'i M‍‍ā‍‍'a‍‍n Fasalakah‍‍u Yanāb‍‍ī‍‍`a Fī A‍‍l-'Arđi Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Yu‍‍kh‍‍r‍‍iju Bih‍‍i Zar`āa‍‍n Mu‍‍kh‍‍talifāan 'Alwānuh‍‍u Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Yah‍‍ī‍‍ju Fatar‍‍ā‍‍h‍‍u Muşfarrāa‍‍n Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Ya‍‍j‍‍`aluhu Ĥuţāmāan 'I‍‍nn‍‍a Fī Dh‍‍ālika La‍‍dh‍‍ikrá Li'wlī A‍‍l-'Alb‍‍ā‍‍b‍‍i Do you not see how Allah sends down water from the sky which penetrates the earth and comes out through springs? With it He brings forth a variety of crops with different colors, then they wither and you see them turning yellow, and then finally He crumbles them to dust. Surely, in this example, there is a lesson for the people of understanding.[39.21]‌أَلَمْ تَرَ‌ى‌ ‌أَنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ م‍‍َا‌ءً فَسَلَكَهُُيَنَاب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ثُ‍‍مَّ يُخْ‍‍رِجُ بِهِ‍ِ‍ زَ‌رْعاً مُخْتَلِفاً أَلْوَ‌انُهُُثُ‍‍مَّ يَه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍جُ فَتَر‍َ‍‌اهُُمُصْفَرّ‌اً ثُ‍‍مَّ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُهُُحُطَاماً ‌إِنَّ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَ‌ى‌ لِأ‌وْلِي ‌الأَلْب‍‍َابِ
'Afama‍‍n Sh‍‍araĥa A‍‍l-Lahu Şa‍‍d‍‍rah‍‍u Lil'isl‍‍ā‍‍mi Fahuwa `Alá N‍‍ū‍‍r‍‍i‍‍n Mi‍‍n Rabbih‍‍i Fawaylu‍‍n Lilqāsiyati Qulūbuhu‍‍m Mi‍‍n Dh‍‍ik‍‍r‍‍i A‍‍l-Lahi '‍‍Ū‍‍l‍‍ā‍‍'ika Fī Đal‍‍ā‍‍li‍‍n Mub‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍in Is the one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam and is walking in the light from his Rabb like the one who has learned no lesson and is still a non-Muslim. So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah! They are clearly in error.[39.22]‌أَفَمَ‍‌‍نْ شَرَحَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ صَ‍‍دْ‌رَهُُلِلإِسْلاَمِ فَهُوَ‌ عَلَى‌ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٍ مِ‍‍نْ ‌رَبِّهِ‍ِ‍‌ فَوَيْل ٌ لِلْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُ‍‍مْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلَائِكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ مُب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نٍ
Al-Lah‍‍u Nazzala 'Aĥsana A‍‍l-Ĥadī‍‍th‍‍i Kitābāa‍‍n Muta‍‍sh‍‍ābihāa‍‍n Ma‍‍th‍‍āniya Ta‍‍q‍‍sh‍‍a`i‍‍r‍‍ru Minhu Jul‍‍ū‍‍du A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Ya‍‍kh‍‍sh‍‍awna Rabbahu‍‍m Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Tal‍‍ī‍‍nu Julūduhu‍‍m Wa Qulūbuhu‍‍m 'Ilá Dh‍‍ik‍‍r‍‍i A‍‍l-Lahi Dh‍‍ālika Hudá A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Yahdī Bih‍‍i Ma‍‍n Ya‍‍sh‍‍ā‍‍'u Wa Ma‍‍n Yuđlili A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Famā Lah‍‍u Min H‍‍ā‍‍d‍‍in Allah has revealed the most beautiful message, a Book consistent in its verses yet repeating its teachings in different ways. Those who fear their Rabb are filled with awe when they hear it, their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides with it whom He pleases. But he whom He lets go astray shall have none to guide him.[39.23]‌ال‍‍لَّهُ نَزَّلَ ‌أَحْسَنَ ‌الْحَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍ثِ كِتَاباً مُتَشَابِهاً مَثَانِيَ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍شَعِرُّ‌ مِنْهُ جُل‍‍ُ‍و‌دُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَخْشَوْنَ ‌رَبَّهُمْ ثُ‍‍مَّ تَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نُ جُلُو‌دُهُمْ ‌وَقُلُوبُهُمْ ‌إِلَى ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌ذَلِكَ هُدَ‌ى‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ‍ِ‍‌ مَ‍‍نْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَمَ‍‍نْ يُضْلِلِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ فَمَا‌ لَهُُمِنْ ه‍‍َا‌د‌ٍ
'Afama‍‍n Yattaqī Biwa‍‍j‍‍hihi S‍‍ū‍‍'a A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bi Yawma A‍‍l-Qiyāmati Wa Q‍‍ī‍‍la Lilžžālim‍‍ī‍‍na Dh‍‍ūqū Mā Ku‍‍n‍‍tu‍‍m Taksib‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Is the one who shall face the terrors of the Day of Resurrection be like the one who shall enter paradise? To such wrongdoers it will be said: “Now taste the fruits of your labor."[39.24]‌أَفَمَ‍‍نْ يَتَّقِي بِوَجْ‍‍هِهِ‍ِ‍‌ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءَ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ يَوْمَ ‌الْقِيَامَةِ ‌وَق‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ لِلظَّالِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌ذُ‌وقُوا مَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَكْسِب‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Ka‍‍dh‍‍dh‍‍aba A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Mi‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍lihi‍‍m Fa'atāhumu A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bu Min Ĥay‍‍th‍‍u Lā Ya‍‍sh‍‍`ur‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Those who have gone before them also disbelieved, consequently, the punishment overtook them from the directions they least expected.[39.25]كَذَّبَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ فَأَتَاهُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ‌ يَشْعُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
Fa'a‍‍dh‍‍āqahumu A‍‍l-Lahu A‍‍l-‍‍Kh‍‍izya Fī A‍‍l-Ĥayāati A‍‍d-Du‍‍n‍‍yā Wa La`a‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bu A‍‍l-'‍‍Ā‍‍kh‍‍irati 'Akbaru Law Kānū Ya`lam‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a So Allah made them taste humiliation in this worldly life, and the punishment in the life to come shall be even more terrible, if they but knew it.[39.26]فَأَ‌ذَ‌اقَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌الْخِزْيَ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّنْ‍‍يَا وَلَعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ ‌الآخِرَةِ ‌أَكْبَرُ‌ لَوْ‌ كَ‍انُوا يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa Laqa‍‍d Đara‍‍b‍‍nā Lil‍‍nn‍‍ā‍‍si Fī Hā‍‍dh‍‍ā A‍‍l-Qur'‍‍ā‍‍ni Mi‍‍n Kulli Ma‍‍th‍‍ali‍‍n La`allahu‍‍m Yata‍‍dh‍‍akkar‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a We have cited for mankind every kind of parable in this Qur’an, so that they may learn a lesson.[39.27]‌وَلَقَ‍‍دْ‌ ضَرَبْ‍‍نَا‌ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ فِي هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْقُرْ‌آنِ مِ‍‌‍نْ كُلِّ مَثَل‌ٍ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
Qur'‍‍ā‍‍nāan `Arabīyāan Gh‍‍ayra Dh‍‍ī `Iwaji‍‍n La`allahu‍‍m Yattaq‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a This Qur’an is revealed in Arabic, which is free from any flaw, so that they may learn to be righteous.[39.28]قُر‌آ‌ن‍اً‌ عَرَبِيّاً‌ غَيْرَ ذِي عِوَج‌ٍ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّق‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Đaraba A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Ma‍‍th‍‍alāa‍‍n Rajulāa‍‍n F‍‍ī‍‍h‍‍i Sh‍‍urak‍‍ā‍‍'u Muta‍‍sh‍‍ākis‍‍ū‍‍na Wa Rajulāa‍‍n Salamāa‍‍n Lirajulin Hal Yastawiy‍‍ā‍‍ni Ma‍‍th‍‍alāan A‍‍l-Ĥa‍‍m‍‍du Lillahi Bal 'Ak‍‍th‍‍aruhu‍‍m Lā Ya`lam‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Allah cites you a parable - there is a slave man who is shared by many masters, each pulling this man to himself (like the man who worships other deities along with Allah), and there is another slave man who belongs entirely to one master (like the man who worships Allah Alone)- are the two alike in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know.[39.29]ضَرَبَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ مَثَلاً ‌رَجُلاً ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ‍ِ‍‌ شُرَك‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ مُتَشَاكِس‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَ‌رَجُلاً سَلَماً لِرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي‍‍َانِ مَثَلاً ‌الْحَمْدُ‌ لِلَّهِ بَلْ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ
'I‍‍nn‍‍aka Mayyitu‍‍n Wa 'I‍‍nn‍‍ahu‍‍m Mayyit‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a O Prophet, you shall die and they too shall die.[39.30]‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ مَيِّتٌ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ‍‍مْ مَيِّت‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a 'I‍‍nn‍‍aku‍‍m Yawma A‍‍l-Qiyāmati `I‍‍n‍‍da Rabbiku‍‍m Ta‍‍kh‍‍taşim‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Then on the Day of Resurrection, your disputes shall be settled in the presence of your Rabb.[39.31]ثُ‍‍مَّ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ يَوْمَ ‌الْقِيَامَةِ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِم‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Faman 'Ažlamu Mi‍‍mm‍‍a‍‍n Ka‍‍dh‍‍aba `Alá A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Wa Ka‍‍dh‍‍dh‍‍aba Biş-Şi‍‍d‍‍qi 'I‍‍dh J‍‍ā‍‍'ah‍‍u 'Alaysa Fī Jaha‍‍nn‍‍ama Ma‍‍th‍‍wáa‍‍n Lilkāfi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Who could be more wicked than the one who invents a lie against Allah and rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there not an abode in hell for such unbelievers?[39.32]فَمَنْ ‌أَظْلَمُ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍‌‍نْ كَذَبَ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌وَكَذَّبَ بِ‍ال‍‍صِّ‍‍دْقِ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ جَا‌ءَهُ‍‍~ُ ‌أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ مَثْو‌ىً لِلْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
Wa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī J‍‍ā‍‍'a Biş-Şi‍‍d‍‍qi Wa Şaddaqa Bihi '‍‍Ū‍‍l‍‍ā‍‍'ika Humu A‍‍l-Muttaq‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a And the one who comes with the truth and the one who confirms it - surely are the Godfearing.[39.33]‌و‍َ‍‌الَّذِي ج‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍ال‍‍صِّ‍‍دْقِ ‌وَصَدَّقَ بِهِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلَائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُتَّق‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Lahu‍‍m Mā Ya‍‍sh‍‍ā‍‍'‍‍ū‍‍na `I‍‍n‍‍da Rabbihi‍‍m Dh‍‍ālika Jaz‍‍ā‍‍'u A‍‍l-Muĥsin‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a They shall have from their Rabb all that they wish for. Thus shall the righteous be rewarded.[39.34]لَهُ‍‍مْ مَا‌ يَشَا‌ء‍ُ‍‌ونَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ رَبِّهِمْ ‌ذَلِكَ جَز‍َ‌اءُ‌ ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
Liyukaffi‍‍r‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u `Anhu‍‍m 'Aswa'a A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī `Amilū Wa Ya‍‍j‍‍ziyahu‍‍m 'A‍‍j‍‍rahu‍‍m Bi'aĥsani A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī Kānū Ya`mal‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Allah will do away from their account their worst deeds and reward them according to their best deeds.[39.35]لِيُكَفِّ‍‍رَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ‌أَسْوَ‌أَ ‌الَّذِي عَمِلُوا ‌وَيَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِيَهُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رَهُ‍‍مْ بِأَحْسَنِ ‌الَّذِي كَ‍انُوا يَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ
'Alaysa A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Bik‍‍ā‍‍fin `A‍‍b‍‍dah‍‍u Wa Yu‍‍kh‍‍awwifūnaka Bial-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Mi‍‍n Dūnih‍‍i Wa Ma‍‍n Yuđlili A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Famā Lah‍‍u Min H‍‍ā‍‍d‍‍in Is Allah not all-sufficient for His servants? Yet they try to frighten you with others besides Him! For such whom Allah lets go astray, there can be no guide.[39.36]‌أَلَيْسَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ بِك‍‍َافٍ عَ‍‍بْ‍‍دَهُُ‌وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِ‍الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ‍ِ‍ وَمَ‍‍نْ يُضْلِلِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ فَمَا‌ لَهُُمِنْ ه‍‍َا‌د‌ٍ
‌ Wa Ma‍‍n Yahdi A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Famā Lah‍‍u Mi‍‍n Muđillin 'Alaysa A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Bi`az‍‍ī‍‍zi‍‍n Dh‍‍ī A‍‍n‍‍tiq‍‍ā‍‍m‍‍in But the one whom Allah guides, none can lead him astray. Is not Allah All-Mighty, the Lord of retribution?[39.37]‌وَمَ‍‍نْ يَهْدِ‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ فَمَا‌ لَهُُمِ‍‍نْ مُضِلٍّ ‌أَلَيْسَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ بِعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍ز‌‌ٍ ‌ذِي ‌انْ‍‍تِق‍‍َامٍ
‌ Wa La'i‍‍n Sa'altahu‍‍m Man Kh‍‍alaqa A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍ti Wa A‍‍l-'Arđa Layaqūlu‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Qul 'Afara'aytu‍‍m Mā Ta‍‍d‍‍`‍‍ū‍‍na Mi‍‍n D‍‍ū‍‍ni A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i 'In 'Arādaniya A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Biđur‍‍r‍‍in Hal Hu‍‍nn‍‍a Kā‍‍sh‍‍if‍‍ā‍‍tu Đur‍‍r‍‍ih‍‍i 'Aw 'Arādanī Biraĥmatin Hal Hu‍‍nn‍‍a Mu‍‍m‍‍sik‍‍ā‍‍tu Raĥmatih‍‍i Qul Ĥasbiya A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u `Alayhi Yatawakkalu A‍‍l-Mutawakkil‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a If you ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth?” They will surely say: “Allah." Ask them: “Do you think then, that if Allah intends to harm me, can they (your goddesses) - whom you invoke besides Allah - save me from His harm or if He wants to bestow on me His blessings, can they withhold His blessings?” Tell them: “Allah is all-sufficient for me. On Him do the reliant rely."[39.38]‌وَلَئِ‍‌‍نْ سَأَلْتَهُ‍‍مْ مَنْ خَلَقَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ لَيَقُولُ‍‍نَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ قُلْ ‌أَفَرَ‌أَيْتُ‍‍مْ مَا‌ تَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌إِنْ ‌أَ‌رَ‌ا‌دَنِيَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ بِضُرٍّ‌ هَلْ هُ‍‍نَّ كَ‍اشِف‍‍َاتُ ضُرِّهِ ‌أَ‌وْ أَ‌رَ‌ا‌دَنِي بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُ‍‍نَّ مُمْسِك‍‍َاتُ ‌رَحْمَتِهِ‍ِ‍‌ قُلْ حَسْبِيَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ ‌الْمُتَوَكِّل‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Qul Yā Qawmi A‍‍`malū `Alá Makānatiku‍‍m 'I‍‍nn‍‍ī `Āmilu‍‍n Fasawfa Ta`lam‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Say: “O my people! If you do not believe me, then do whatever you want in your positions and so shall I. Soon you will find out[39.39]قُلْ يَاقَوْمِ ‌اعْمَلُوا عَلَى‌ مَكَانَتِكُمْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي عَامِلٌ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Ma‍‍n Ya't‍‍ī‍‍h‍‍i `A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bu‍‍n Yu‍‍kh‍‍z‍‍ī‍‍h‍‍i Wa Yaĥillu `Alayhi `A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bu‍‍n Muq‍‍ī‍‍m‍‍un as to whom shall come the disgraceful scourge and who shall get the everlasting punishment."[39.40]مَ‍‍نْ يَأْت‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ‍ِ‍‌ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ يُخْز‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ‍ِ‍ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ مُق‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ
'I‍‍nn‍‍ā 'A‍‍n‍‍zalnā `Alayka A‍‍l-Kit‍‍ā‍‍ba Lil‍‍nn‍‍ā‍‍si Bil-Ĥaqqi Famani A‍‍htadá Falinafsih‍‍i Wa Ma‍‍n Đalla Fa'i‍‍nn‍‍amā Yađillu `Alayhā Wa M‍‍ā 'A‍‍n‍‍ta `Alayhi‍‍m Biwak‍‍ī‍‍l‍‍in O Prophet, surely We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, for the instruction of Mankind. He who follows the Right Way shall follow it for his own good; and he who goes astray shall do so at his own peril. You are not set up as a guardian over them.[39.41]‌إِنَّ‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلْنَا‌ عَلَيْكَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ بِ‍الْحَقِّ فَمَنِ ‌اهْتَدَ‌ى‌ فَلِنَفْسِهِ‍ِ‍ وَمَ‍‌‍نْ ضَلَّ فَإِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَمَ‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ عَلَيْهِ‍‍مْ بِوَك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٍ
Al-Lah‍‍u Yatawaffá A‍‍l-'A‍‍n‍‍fusa Ĥ‍‍ī‍‍na Mawtihā Wa A‍‍-Atī La‍‍m Tamut Fī Manāmihā Fayu‍‍m‍‍siku A‍‍llatī Qađá `Alayhā A‍‍l-Mawta Wa Yursilu A‍‍l-'U‍‍kh‍‍r‍‍á 'Il‍‍á 'Ajali‍‍n Musa‍‍mm‍‍áan 'I‍‍nn‍‍a Fī Dh‍‍ālika La'‍‍ā‍‍y‍‍ā‍‍ti‍‍n Liqawmi‍‍n Yatafakkar‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a It is Allah Who recalls the souls of men upon their death, and of the living during their sleep. He withholds the souls of those on whom He has passed the decree of death, and restores the rest till an appointed term. Surely there are signs in this for those who think.[39.42]‌ال‍‍لَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَ ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مَوْتِهَا وَ‌الَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا‌ فَيُمْسِكُ ‌الَّتِي قَضَى‌ عَلَيْهَا‌ ‌الْمَوْتَ ‌وَيُرْسِلُ ‌الأُخْرَ‌ى إِلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَجَلٍ مُسَ‍‍مّ‍‍ىً ‌إِنَّ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآي‍‍َات‌ٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
'Ami A‍‍tta‍‍kh‍‍a‍‍dh‍‍ū Mi‍‍n D‍‍ū‍‍ni A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Sh‍‍ufa`‍‍ā‍‍'a Qul 'Awalaw Kānū Lā Ya‍‍m‍‍lik‍‍ū‍‍na Sh‍‍ay'‍‍ā‍‍a‍‍n Wa Lā Ya`qil‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Have they taken others besides Allah to intercede for them? Ask them: “How can they intercede, if they have neither control over anything nor do they understand?”[39.43]‌أَمِ ‌اتَّخَذُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ شُفَع‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ قُلْ ‌أَ‌وَلَوْ‌ كَ‍انُوا لاَ‌ يَمْلِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ شَيْئاً ‌وَلاَ‌ يَعْقِل‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Qu‍‍l Lillahi A‍‍sh‍‍-‍‍Sh‍‍afā`atu Jamī`āa‍‍n Lah‍‍u Mulku A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍ti Wa A‍‍l-'Arđi Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a 'Ilayhi Turja`‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Say: “Intercession is wholly in the hands of Allah. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Him you shall all be brought back."[39.44]قُ‍‍لْ لِلَّهِ ‌ال‍‍شَّفَاعَةُ جَمِيعاً لَهُُمُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ثُ‍‍مَّ ‌إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā Dh‍‍uki‍‍r‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Waĥdahu A‍‍sh‍‍ma'azzat Qul‍‍ū‍‍bu A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Lā Yu'umin‍‍ū‍‍na Bil-'‍‍Ā‍‍kh‍‍irati Wa 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā Dh‍‍uki‍‍r‍‍a A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Mi‍‍n Dūnih‍‍i 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā Hu‍‍m Yasta‍‍b‍‍sh‍‍ir‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a When Allah’s Oneness is mentioned, the hearts of those who deny the hereafter shrink with aversion; but when other deities than He are mentioned, they are filled with joy.[39.45]‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ذُكِ‍‍رَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌وَحْدَهُ ‌اشْمَأَ‌زَّتْ قُل‍‍ُ‍وبُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍الآخِرَةِ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ذُكِ‍‍رَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ يَسْتَ‍‍بْ‍‍شِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
Quli A‍‍l-Lahu‍‍mm‍‍a Fāţi‍‍r‍‍a A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍ti Wa A‍‍l-'Arđi `Ālima A‍‍l-‍‍Gh‍‍aybi Wa A‍‍sh‍‍-‍‍Sh‍‍ahādati 'A‍‍n‍‍ta Taĥkumu Bayna `Ibādika Fī Mā Kānū F‍‍ī‍‍h‍‍i Ya‍‍kh‍‍talif‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Say: “O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who has the knowledge of the unseen and the seen! You Alone can judge the disputes of your servants concerning those matters in which they differ."[39.46]قُلِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ‍‍مَّ فَ‍اطِ‍‍رَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ عَالِ‍‍مَ ‌الْغَيْبِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شَّهَا‌دَةِ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَا‌دِكَ فِي مَا‌ كَ‍انُوا ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ‍ِ‍‌ يَخْتَلِف‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa Law 'A‍‍nn‍‍a Lilla‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Žalamū Mā Fī A‍‍l-'Arđi Jamī`āa‍‍n Wa Mi‍‍th‍‍lah‍‍u Ma`ahu Lāftadaw Bih‍‍i Mi‍‍n S‍‍ū‍‍'i A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bi Yawma A‍‍l-Qiyāmati Wa Badā Lahu‍‍m Mina A‍‍l-Lahi Mā La‍‍m Yakūnū Yaĥtasib‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a If the wrongdoers possessed all the treasures of the earth and as much more besides it, they would gladly offer it to redeem themselves from the painful punishment on the Day of Resurrection. For there will become apparent to them from Allah what they would never have imagined.[39.47]‌وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَلَمُوا مَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ جَمِيعاً ‌وَمِثْلَهُُمَعَهُ لاَفْتَدَ‌وْ‌ا‌ بِهِ‍ِ‍‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءِ‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ يَوْمَ ‌الْقِيَامَةِ ‌وَبَدَ‌ا‌ لَهُ‍‍مْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ مَا‌ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَحْتَسِب‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa Badā Lahu‍‍m Sayyi'‍‍ā‍‍tu Mā Kasabū Wa Ĥ‍‍ā‍‍qa Bihi‍‍m Mā Kānū Bih‍‍i Yastahzi'‍‍ū‍‍n The evil result of their deeds will become manifest to them and they will be completely encircled by the very thing they used to mock at.[39.48]‌وَبَدَ‌ا‌ لَهُمْ سَيِّئ‍‍َاتُ مَا‌ كَسَبُوا ‌وَح‍‍َاقَ بِهِ‍‍مْ مَا‌ كَ‍انُوا بِهِ‍ِ‍‌ يَسْتَهْزِئ‍‍ُ‍‍و‌ن
Fa'i‍‍dh‍‍ā Massa A‍‍l-'I‍‍n‍‍s‍‍ā‍‍na Đurru‍‍n Da`ānā Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā Kh‍‍awwaln‍‍ā‍‍h‍‍u Ni`mata‍‍n Mi‍‍nn‍‍ā Q‍‍ā‍‍la 'I‍‍nn‍‍am‍‍ā '‍‍Ū‍‍tītuh‍‍u `Alá `Ilmi‍n‍ Bal Hiya Fitnatu‍‍n Wa Laki‍‍nn‍‍a 'Ak‍‍th‍‍arahu‍‍m Lā Ya`lam‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Man is such that when he is in trouble he appeals to Us; but when We bestow Our favor upon him, he says: “This has been given to me because of certain knowledge I possess." Nay! It is but a test, yet most of them do not know.[39.49]فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ مَسَّ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ ضُرٌّ ‌دَعَانَا‌ ثُ‍‍مَّ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ خَوَّلْن‍‍َاهُُنِعْمَةً مِ‍‍نَّ‍ا‌ ق‍‍َالَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍ا أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيتُهُُعَلَى‌ عِلْمٍ بَلْ هِيَ فِتْنَةٌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ ‌أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Qa‍‍d Qālahā A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Mi‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍lihi‍‍m Fam‍‍ā 'A‍‍gh‍‍n‍‍á `Anhu‍‍m Mā Kānū Yaksib‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a The same was said by those who passed before them, but they gained no benefit from what they had earned[39.50]قَ‍‍دْ‌ قَالَ‍‍هَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ فَمَ‍ا أَغْنَى‌ عَنْهُ‍‍مْ مَا‌ كَ‍انُوا يَكْسِب‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Fa'aşābahu‍‍m Sayyi'‍‍ā‍‍tu Mā Kasabū Wa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Žalamū Min H‍‍ā‍‍'uul‍‍ā‍‍' Sayuşībuhu‍‍m Sayyi'‍‍ā‍‍tu Mā Kasabū Wa Mā Hu‍‍m Bimu`jiz‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a and the evil consequences of their deeds overtook them. Very soon, the wrongdoers among these people will also be overtaken by the evil consequences of their misdeeds and they will not be able to escape.[39.51]فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئ‍‍َاتُ مَا‌ كَسَبُوا ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ هَا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ سَيُصِيبُهُمْ سَيِّئ‍‍َاتُ مَا‌ كَسَبُوا ‌وَمَا‌ هُ‍‍مْ بِمُعْجِز‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
'Awala‍‍m Ya`lam‍‍ū 'A‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a Ya‍‍b‍‍suţu A‍‍r-‍‍R‍‍izqa Lima‍‍n Ya‍‍sh‍‍ā‍‍'u Wa Ya‍‍q‍‍diru 'I‍‍nn‍‍a Fī Dh‍‍ālika La'‍‍ā‍‍y‍‍ā‍‍ti‍‍n Liqawmi‍‍n Yu'umin‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Do they not know that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He pleases and restricts it from whom He wills? Surely there are signs in this for those who believe.[39.52]‌أَ‌وَلَمْ يَعْلَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍سُطُ ‌ال‍‍رِّ‌زْقَ لِمَ‍‍نْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيَ‍‍قْ‍‍دِ‌رُ‌إِنَّ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآي‍‍َات‌ٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Qul Yā `Ibādī A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na 'Asrafū `Al‍‍á 'A‍‍n‍‍fusihi‍‍m Lā Ta‍‍q‍‍naţū Mi‍‍n Raĥmati A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i 'I‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍a Ya‍‍gh‍‍fi‍‍r‍‍u A‍‍dh‍‍-‍‍Dh‍‍un‍‍ū‍‍ba Jamī`āan 'I‍‍nn‍‍a‍‍hu Huwa A‍‍l-‍‍Gh‍‍af‍‍ū‍‍ru A‍‍r-Raĥ‍‍ī‍‍m‍‍u Allah says: “O My servants who have transgressed against their souls, do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for Allah forgives all sins. It is He Who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.[39.53]قُلْ يَاعِبَا‌دِي ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَسْرَفُوا عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِهِمْ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍نَطُوا مِ‍‍نْ ‌رَحْمَةِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌إِنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ يَغْفِ‍‍رُ‌ال‍‍ذُّن‍‍ُ‍وبَ جَمِيعاً ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُُهُوَ ‌الْغَف‍‍ُ‍و‌رُ‌ ‌ال‍‍رَّح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ
‌ Wa 'Anīb‍‍ū 'Ilá Rabbiku‍‍m Wa 'Aslimū Lah‍‍u Mi‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍li 'A‍‍n Ya'tiyakumu A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bu Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Lā Tu‍‍n‍‍şar‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Turn in repentance to your Rabb, and submit to Him before there comes to you the scourge: for then, there shall be none to help you.[39.54]‌وَ‌أَنِيبُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَسْلِمُوا لَهُُمِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَنْ يَأْتِيَكُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ ثُ‍‍مَّ لاَ‌ تُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍صَر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
‌ Wa A‍‍ttabi`‍‍ū 'Aĥsana M‍‍ā 'U‍‍n‍‍zila 'Ilayku‍‍m Mi‍‍n Rabbiku‍‍m Mi‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍li 'A‍‍n Ya'tiyakumu A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bu Ba‍‍gh‍‍tata‍‍n Wa 'A‍‍n‍‍tu‍‍m Lā Ta‍‍sh‍‍`ur‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Follow the best way that is revealed to you by your Rabb before the scourge comes to you all of a sudden while you do not perceive it.[39.55]‌و‍َ‍‌اتَّبِعُ‍‍وا ‌أَحْسَنَ مَ‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَيْكُ‍‍مْ مِ‍‍نْ ‌رَبِّكُ‍‍مْ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَنْ يَأْتِيَكُمُ ‌العَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ بَغْتَةً ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لاَ‌ تَشْعُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
'A‍‍n Taq‍‍ū‍‍la Nafsu‍‍n Yā Ĥasratā `Alá Mā Farra‍‍ţ‍‍tu Fī Ja‍n‍‍bi A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Wa 'I‍‍n Ku‍‍n‍‍tu Lamina A‍‍s-Sā‍‍kh‍‍i‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Lest someone should say: ‘Alas! I neglected my duty towards Allah and I was one of those who mocked at His revelations.'[39.56]‌أَ‌نْ تَق‍‍ُ‍ولَ نَفْسٌ يَاحَسْرَتَا‌ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ فَرَّطْ‍‍تُ فِي جَ‍‍نْ‍‍بِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌وَ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُ لَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّاخِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
'Aw Taq‍‍ū‍‍la Law 'A‍‍nn‍‍a A‍‍l-La‍‍ha Hadānī Laku‍‍n‍‍tu Mina A‍‍l-Muttaq‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Or lest he should say: 'If Allah had guided me, I would have been one of the righteous.'[39.57]‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَق‍‍ُ‍ولَ لَوْ أَنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ هَدَ‌انِي لَكُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُ مِنَ ‌الْمُتَّق‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
'Aw Taq‍‍ū‍‍la Ĥ‍‍ī‍‍na Tará A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍ba Law 'A‍‍nn‍‍a Lī Karrata‍‍n Fa'ak‍‍ū‍‍na Mina A‍‍l-Muĥsin‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Or lest he should say upon seeing the punishment: 'I wish I had another chance, I would certainly be among the righteous.'"[39.58]‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَق‍‍ُ‍ولَ ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَرَ‌ى‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةً فَأَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
Balá Qa‍‍d J‍‍ā‍‍'atka '‍‍Ā‍‍yātī Faka‍‍dh‍‍dh‍‍a‍‍b‍‍ta Bihā Wa A‍‍stakbarta Wa Ku‍‍n‍‍ta Mina A‍‍l-Kāfi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Then Allah will say to him: "My revelations did come to you; but you denied them, were arrogant and you were among the disbelievers."[39.59]بَلَى‌ قَ‍‍دْ‌ جَا‌ءَتْكَ ‌آيَاتِي فَكَذَّبْ‍‍تَ بِهَا وَ‌اسْتَكْبَرْتَ ‌وَكُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa Yawma A‍‍l-Qiyāmati Tará A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Ka‍‍dh‍‍abū `Alá A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Wujūhuhu‍‍m Muswaddatun 'Alaysa Fī Jaha‍‍nn‍‍ama Ma‍‍th‍‍wáa‍‍n Lilmutakabbi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a On the Day of Judgment you shall see that the faces of those who uttered falsehood against Allah shall be darkened. Is there not an abode in hell for such arrogant?[39.60]‌وَيَوْمَ ‌الْقِيَامَةِ تَرَ‌ى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌وُجُوهُهُ‍‍مْ مُسْوَ‌دَّةٌ ‌أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ مَثْو‌ىً لِلْمُتَكَبِّ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa Yunajjī A‍‍l-Lahu A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na A‍‍ttaqaw Bimafāzatihi‍‍m Lā Yamassuhumu A‍‍s-S‍‍ū‍‍'u Wa Lā Hu‍‍m Yaĥzan‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a On the contrary, Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation. No harm shall touch them, nor shall they ever grieve.[39.61]‌وَيُنَجِّي ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّقَو‌ا‌ بِمَفَا‌زَتِهِمْ لاَ‌ يَمَسُّهُمُ ‌ال‍‍سّ‍‍ُ‍و‌ءُ وَلاَ‌ هُمْ يَحْزَن‍‍ُ‍ونَ
Al-Lahu Kh‍‍āliqu Kulli Sh‍‍ay'i‍‍n Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Sh‍‍ay'i‍‍n Wa K‍‍ī‍‍l‍‍un Allah is the Creator of all things and of all things He is the Guardian.[39.62]‌ال‍‍لَّهُ خَال‍ِ‍قُ كُلِّ شَيْء‌ٍ ‌وَهُوَ‌ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَيْء‌ٍ ‌وَك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ
Lah‍‍u Maqāl‍‍ī‍‍du A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍ti Wa A‍‍l-'Arđi Wa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Kafarū Bi'‍‍ā‍‍y‍‍ā‍‍ti A‍‍l-Lahi '‍‍Ū‍‍l‍‍ā‍‍'ika Humu A‍‍l-‍‍Kh‍‍āsir‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. Those who deny the revelations of Allah, it is they who will be the losers.[39.63]لَهُُمَقَال‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلَائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْخَاسِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
Qul 'Afa‍‍gh‍‍ayra A‍‍l-Lah‍‍i Ta'mur‍‍ū‍‍nn‍‍ī 'A`budu 'Ayyuhā A‍‍l-Jāhil‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a O Prophet say to the mushrikïn: “O ignorant! Do you bid me to worship someone other than Allah?”[39.64]قُلْ ‌أَفَغَيْرَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ تَأْمُر‍ُ‍‌ونِّ‍‍ي ‌أَعْبُدُ أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْجَاهِل‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa Laqa‍‍d '‍‍Ū‍‍ĥiya 'Ilayka Wa 'Ilá A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Mi‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍lika La'in 'A‍‍sh‍‍rakta Layaĥbaţa‍‍nn‍‍a `Amaluka Wa Latakūna‍‍nn‍‍a Mina A‍‍l-‍‍Kh‍‍āsi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Tell them plainly because it has already been revealed to you as it was revealed to those before you that if you commit shirk, all your deeds will become fruitless and you will surely be among the losers."[39.65]‌وَلَقَ‍‍دْ أ‍ُ‍‌وحِيَ ‌إِلَيْكَ ‌وَ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ لَئِنْ ‌أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَ‍‍نَّ عَمَلُكَ ‌وَلَتَكُونَ‍‍نَّ مِنَ ‌الْخَاسِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
Bali A‍‍l-Laha Fā`bu‍‍d Wa Ku‍‍n Mina A‍‍sh‍‍-‍‍Sh‍‍āki‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a Therefore, worship Allah and be among His thankful servants.[39.66]بَلِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ فَ‍اعْبُ‍‍دْ وَكُ‍‍نْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاكِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa Mā Qadarū A‍‍l-Laha Ĥaq‍‍qa Qa‍‍d‍‍r‍‍ih‍‍i Wa A‍‍l-'Arđu Jamī`āa‍‍n Qa‍‍b‍‍đatuh‍‍u Yawma A‍‍l-Qiyāmati Wa A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍tu Ma‍‍ţ‍‍wīy‍‍ā‍‍tu‍n‍ Biyamīnih‍‍i Su‍‍b‍‍ĥānah‍‍u Wa Ta`ālá `A‍‍mm‍‍ā Yu‍‍sh‍‍r‍‍ik‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a They have not recognized the worth of Allah as His worth should be recognized. On the Day of Resurrection the whole earth shall be in His grasp and all the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. Glory be to Him! Exalted be He above what they associate with Him.[39.67]‌وَمَا‌ قَدَ‌رُ‌وا ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ حَقَّ قَ‍‍دْ‌رِهِ‍ِ‍ وَ‌الأَ‌رْضُ جَمِيعاً قَ‍‍بْ‍‍ضَتُهُُيَوْمَ ‌الْقِيَامَةِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّما‌و‍َ‍‌اتُ مَ‍‍طْ‍‍وِيّ‍‍َات‌‍ٌ بِيَمِينِهِ‍ِ‍‌ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَهُُ‌وَتَعَالَى‌ عَ‍‍مَّ‍ا‌ يُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa Nufi‍‍kh‍‍a Fī A‍‍ş-Ş‍‍ū‍‍r‍‍i Faşa`iqa Ma‍‍n A‍‍s-Samāw‍‍ā‍‍ti Wa Ma‍‍n A‍‍l-'Arđi 'Illā Ma‍‍n Sh‍‍ā‍‍'a A‍‍l-Lah‍‍u Th‍‍u‍‍mm‍‍a Nufi‍‍kh‍‍a F‍‍ī‍‍h‍‍i 'U‍‍kh‍‍rá Fa'i‍‍dh‍‍ā Hu‍‍m Qiy‍‍ā‍‍mu‍‍n Ya‍‍n‍‍žur‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a The Trumpet shall be blown, and all that is in the heavens and the earth shall swoon except those whom Allah will please to exempt. Then the Trumpet will be blown for the second time and behold! They shall all stand up, looking around.[39.68]‌وَنُفِخَ فِي ‌ال‍‍صّ‍‍ُ‍و‌رِ فَصَعِقَ مَ‍‌‍نْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَ‍‌‍نْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ثُ‍‍مَّ نُفِخَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌أُخْرَ‌ى‌ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ قِي‍‍َامٌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍ظُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ
‌ Wa 'A‍‍sh‍‍raqati A‍‍l-'Arđu Bin‍‍ū‍‍r‍‍i Rabbihā Wa Wuđi`a A‍‍l-Kit‍‍ā‍‍bu Wa J‍‍ī‍‍'a Bi‍‍n‍‍-Nabīy‍‍ī‍‍na Wa A‍‍sh‍‍-‍‍Sh‍‍uhad‍‍ā‍‍'i Wa Quđiya Baynahu‍‍m Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Hu‍‍m Lā Yužlam‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a The earth will be shining with the light of her Rabb, the Book of record will be laid open, the Prophets and other witnesses will be brought in, and justice shall be done between people with all fairness: none shall be wronged.[39.69]‌وَ‌أَشْرَقَتِ ‌الأَ‌رْضُ بِن‍‍ُ‍و‌رِ ‌رَبِّهَا وَ‌وُضِعَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابُ ‌وَج‍‍ِ‍يءَ‌ بِ‍ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شُّهَد‍َ‌اءِ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُ‍‍مْ بِ‍الْحَقِّ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يُظْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa Wuffiyat Kullu Nafsi‍‍n Mā `Amilat Wa Huwa 'A`lamu Bimā Yaf`al‍‍ū‍‍n‍‍a Every soul will be paid in full according to its deeds, for He knows fully well as to what they did.[39.70]‌وَ‌وُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا‌ عَمِلَتْ ‌وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ يَفْعَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ
‌ Wa S‍‍ī‍‍qa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na Kafar‍‍ū 'Ilá Jaha‍‍nn‍‍ama Zumarāan Ĥatt‍‍á 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā J‍‍ā‍‍'‍‍ū‍‍hā Futiĥat 'A‍‍b‍‍wābuhā Wa Q‍‍ā‍‍la Lahu‍‍m Kh‍‍azanatuh‍‍ā 'Ala‍‍m Ya'tiku‍‍m Rusulu‍‍n Mi‍‍n‍‍ku‍‍m Yatl‍‍ū‍‍na `Alayku‍‍m '‍‍Ā‍‍y‍‍ā‍‍ti Rabbiku‍‍m Wa Yu‍‍n‍‍dh‍‍irūnaku‍‍m Liq‍‍ā‍‍'a Yawmiku‍‍m Hā‍‍dh‍‍ā Qālū Balá Wa Lakin Ĥaqqat Kalimatu A‍‍l-`A‍‍dh‍‍ā‍‍bi `Alá A‍‍l-Kāfi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a After the Judgment, the Unbelievers will be driven to hell in groups. When they reach there, its gates will be opened and its keepers will say: “Did there not come to you Rasools from among yourselves, who recited to you the revelations of your Rabb and forewarned you about the meeting of this Day?” “Yes,” they will answer. But at that time the sentence of punishment would have been already announced against the unbelievers."[39.71]‌وَس‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍قَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌إِلَى‌ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ ‌زُمَر‌اً‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ جَا‌ء‍ُ‍‌وهَا‌ فُتِحَتْ ‌أَبْ‍‍وَ‌ابُهَا وَق‍‍َالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَ‍ا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ ‌رُسُلٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ يَتْل‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌آي‍‍َاتِ ‌رَبِّكُمْ ‌وَيُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍ذِ‌رُ‌ونَكُمْ لِق‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَ‌ا‌ قَالُ‍‍وا بَلَى وَلَكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ عَلَى‌ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
Q‍‍ī‍‍la A‍‍d‍‍kh‍‍ul‍‍ū 'A‍‍b‍‍w‍‍ā‍‍ba Jaha‍‍nn‍‍ama Kh‍‍ālid‍‍ī‍‍na Fīhā Fabi'sa Ma‍‍th‍‍wá A‍‍l-Mutakabbi‍‍r‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a They will be told: “Enter the gates of hell to live therein forever." Evil shall be the abode of the arrogant."[39.72]ق‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌ا‌دْخُلُ‍‍وا ‌أَبْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌ابَ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ خَال‍ِ‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَ‌ى‌ ‌الْمُتَكَبِّ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa S‍‍ī‍‍qa A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī‍‍na A‍‍ttaqaw Rabbahu‍‍m 'Ilá A‍‍l-Ja‍‍nn‍‍ati Zumarāan Ĥatt‍‍á 'I‍‍dh‍‍ā J‍‍ā‍‍'‍‍ū‍‍hā Wa Futiĥat 'A‍‍b‍‍wābuhā Wa Q‍‍ā‍‍la Lahu‍‍m Kh‍‍azanatuhā Sal‍‍ā‍‍mun `Alayku‍‍m Ţi‍‍b‍‍tu‍‍m Fā‍‍d‍‍kh‍‍ulūhā Kh‍‍ālid‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a As for those who fear their Rabb, they shall be led towards paradise in groups. When they reach there, its gates will be opened, and its keepers will say: “Peace be upon you! You have done well, now enter to live therein forever."[39.73]‌وَس‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍قَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّقَوْ‌ا رَبَّهُمْ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ‌زُمَر‌اً‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ جَا‌ء‍ُ‍‌وهَا وَفُتِحَتْ ‌أَبْ‍‍وَ‌ابُهَا وَق‍‍َالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا‌ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ طِ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ فَ‍ا‌دْخُلُوهَا‌ خَال‍ِ‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa Qālū A‍‍l-Ĥa‍‍m‍‍du Lillahi A‍‍l-La‍‍dh‍‍ī Şadaqanā Wa`dah‍‍u Wa 'Awra‍‍th‍‍anā A‍‍l-'Arđa Natabawwa'u Mina A‍‍l-Ja‍‍nn‍‍ati Ĥay‍‍th‍‍u Na‍‍sh‍‍ā‍‍'u Fani`ma 'A‍‍j‍‍ru A‍‍l-`Āmil‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a They will say: “Praise be to Allah Who has truly fulfilled His promise and has given us this land to inherit, now we can live in paradise wherever we like." How excellent will be the reward for the righteous![39.74]‌وَقَالُوا ‌الْحَمْدُ‌ لِلَّهِ ‌الَّذِي صَدَقَنَا وَعْدَهُُ‌وَ‌أَ‌وْ‌رَثَنَا‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضَ نَتَبَوَّ‌أُ‌ مِنَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ حَيْثُ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ فَنِعْمَ ‌أَجْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْعَامِل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
‌ Wa Tará A‍‍l-Mal‍‍ā‍‍'ikata Ĥ‍‍ā‍‍ff‍‍ī‍‍na Min Ĥawli A‍‍l-`Ar‍‍sh‍‍i Yusabbiĥ‍‍ū‍‍na Biĥa‍‍m‍‍di Rabbihi‍‍m Wa Quđiya Baynahu‍‍m Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Q‍‍ī‍‍la A‍‍l-Ĥa‍‍m‍‍du Lillahi Rabbi A‍‍l-`Ālam‍‍ī‍‍n‍‍a You will see the angels surrounding the Divine Throne, glorifying their Rabb with His praises. The Judgment between the people will be made with perfect justice, and it will be proclaimed: “Praise be to Allah the Rabb of the worlds!”[39.75]‌وَتَرَ‌ى‌ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةَ ح‍‍َافّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِنْ حَوْلِ ‌الْعَرْشِ يُسَبِّح‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُ‍‍مْ بِ‍الْحَقِّ ‌وَق‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌الْحَمْدُ‌ لِلَّهِ ‌رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ
