Hal 'Atá `Alá A l-'In sā ni Ĥī nun Mina A d-Dahr i Lam Yakun Sh ay'ā an Madh kūrā an (Al-'In sān : 1).
Has there come upon man a period of time when he was nothing to be mentioned?
076001
هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى ا لإِن سَا نِ حِي نٌ مِنَ ا ل دَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن ْ شَيْ ئاً مَذْكُوراً
'Inn ā Kh q A l-'In sā na Min Nuţ m sh ā jin Nab talī hi Faja`alnā hu Samī`āan Baş īrā an (Al-'In sān : 2).
We created man from a liquid mixture, to test him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

إِنَّ ا خَ لَقْ نَا ا لإِن سَا نَ مِن ْ نُطْ فَةٍ أَمْشَا جٍ نَبْ تَلِي هِ فَجَعَلْنَا هُ سَمِيعاً بَصِ ير اً
'Inn ā Hadaynā hu A s-Sabī la 'Imm ā Sh ākirā an Wa 'Imm ā Kafūrā an (Al-'In sān : 3).
We guided him to the way, be he appreciative or unappreciative.
076003
إِنَّ ا هَدَيْنَا هُ ا ل سَّبِي لَ إِمَّ ا شَاكِر اً وَإِمَّ ا كَفُوراً
'Inn ā 'A`tad nā Lilkāfir ī na Salāsilāan Wa 'Agh n Wa Sa`īrā an (Al-'In sān : 4).
We have prepared for the faithless chains, and yokes, and a Searing Fire.
076004
إِنَّ ا أَعْتَدْ نَا لِلْكَافِر ِي نَ سَلاَسِلاً وَأَغْ لاَلاً وَسَعِير اً
'Inn a A l-'Ab r ā ra Yash ra bū na Min Ka'sin Kā na Mizājuhā Kāfūrā an (Al-'In sān : 5).
But the righteous will drink from a cup whose mixture is aroma.
076005
إِنّ َ ا لأَبْ رَ ا رَ يَشْرَ بُو نَ مِن ْ كَأْسٍ كَا نَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُوراً
`Aynāan Yash ra bu Bihā `Ibā du A ll āhi Yufajjirūnahā Tafjīrā an (Al-'In sān : 6).
A spring from which the servants of God will drink, making it gush abundantly.
076006
عَيْناً يَشْرَ بُ بِهَا عِبَا دُ ا ل لَّ هِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِير اً
Yūfū na Bin -Nadh r i Wa Yakh ū na Yawmāan Kā na Sh arru hu Mustaţ īrā an (Al-'In sān : 7).
They fulfill their vows, and dread a Day whose ill is widespread.
076007
يُوفُو نَ بِا ل نَّ ذْرِ وَيَخَ افُو نَ يَوْماً كَا نَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِ ير اً
Wa Yuţ ū na A ţ -Ţ a`ā ma `Alá Ĥubbihi Miskīnāan Wa Yatīmāan Wa 'Asīrā an (Al-'In sān : 8).
And they feed, for the love of Him, the poor, and the orphan, and the captive.
076008
وَيُطْ عِمُو نَ ا ل طَّ عَا مَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِيناً وَيَتِيماً وَأَسِير اً
'Inn amā Nuţ m Liwaj hi A ll ā hi Lā Nur ī du Min kum Jazā 'an Wa Lā Sh ukūrā an (Al-'In sān : 9).
"We only feed you for the sake of God. We want from you neither compensation, nor gratitude.
076009
إِنَّ مَا نُطْ عِمُكُمْ لِوَجْ هِ ا ل لَّ هِ لاَ نُر ِي دُ مِنْ كُمْ جَزَا ءً وَلاَ شُكُوراً
'Inn ā Nakh ā fu Min Ra bbinā Yawmāan `Abūsāan Q am ţ ar īrā an (Al-'In sān : 10).
We dread from our Lord a frowning grim Day."
076010
إِنَّ ا نَخَ ا فُ مِن ْ رَ بِّنَا يَوْماً عَبُوساً قَ مْطَ رِ ير اً
Fawaq āhumu A ll āhu Sh arra Dh ālika A l-Yaw mi Wa Laq q āhum Nađra tan Wa Surūrā an (Al-'In sān : 11).
So God will protect them from the ills of that Day, and will grant them radiance and joy.
076011
فَوَقَ اهُمُ ا ل لَّ هُ شَرَّ ذَلِكَ ا لْيَوْ مِ وَلَقَّ اهُمْ نَضْ رَ ةً وَسُرُوراً
Wa Jazāhum Bimā Ş abarū Jann atan Wa Ĥar īrā an (Al-'In sān : 12).
And will reward them for their patience with a Garden and silk.
076012
وَجَزَاهُمْ بِمَا صَ بَرُوا جَنَّ ةً وَحَرِ ير اً
Muttaki'ī na Fīhā `Alá A l-'Arā 'iki ۖ Lā Yara w na Fīhā Sh am sāan Wa Lā Zam har īrā an (Al-'In sān : 13).
Reclining therein on the thrones; experiencing therein neither sun, nor frost.
076013
مُتَّكِئِي نَ فِيهَا عَلَى ا لأَرَا ئِكِ ۖ لاَ يَرَ وْ نَ فِيهَا شَمْساً وَلاَ زَمْهَرِ ير اً
Wa Dāniyatan `Alayhim Ž ilāluhā Wa Dh ullilat Q uţ ūfuhā Tadh līlāan (Al-'In sān : 14).
Its shade hovering over them, and its fruit brought low within reach.
076014
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِ لاَلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُ طُ وفُهَا تَذْلِيلاً
Wa Yuţ ā fu `Alayhim Bi'ā niyatin Min Fiđđatin Wa 'Akwā bin Kānat Q awār ī r a (Al-'In sān : 15).
Passing around them are vessels of silver, and cups of crystal.
076015
وَيُطَ ا فُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِآنِيَةٍ مِن ْ فِضَّ ةٍ وَأَكْوَا بٍ كَانَتْ قَ وَارِ يرَ
Q awār ī r a Min Fiđđatin Q addarūhā Taq rā an (Al-'In sān : 16).
Crystal of silver"”they measured them exactly.
076016
قَ وَار ِي رَ مِن ْ فِضَّ ةٍ قَ دَّرُوهَا تَقْ دِير اً
Wa Yusq aw na Fīhā Ka'sāan Kā na Mizājuhā Zan jabīlāan (Al-'In sān : 17).
They will be served therein with a cup whose flavor is Zanjabeel.
076017
وَيُسْقَ وْ نَ فِيهَا كَأْساً كَا نَ مِزَاجُهَا زَن جَبِيلاً
`Aynāan Fīhā Tusamm á Salsabīlāan (Al-'In sān : 18).
A spring therein named Salsabeel.
076018
عَيْناً فِيهَا تُسَمَّ ى سَلْسَبِيلاً
Wa Yaţ ū fu `Alayhim Wildā nun Mukh ū na 'Idh ā Ra 'aytahum Ĥasib tahum Lu'ulu'uāan Man th ūrā an (Al-'In sān : 19).
Passing among them are eternalized youths. If you see them, you would think them sprinkled pearls.
076019
وَيَطُ و فُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَا نٌ مُخَ لَّدُو نَ إِذَا رَ أَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْ تَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤاً مَن ثُوراً
Wa 'Idh ā Ra 'ay ta Th amm a Ra 'ay ta Na`īmāan Wa Mulkāan Kabīrā an (Al-'In sān : 20).
Wherever you look, you see bliss, and a vast kingdom.
076020
وَإِذَا رَ أَيْ تَ ثَمّ َ رَ أَيْ تَ نَعِيماً وَمُلْكاً كَبِير اً
`Āliyahum Th iyā bu Sun dusin Kh ru n Wa 'Istab ra q un ۖ Wa Ĥullū 'Asāwira Min Fiđđatin Wa Saq āhum Ra bbuhum Sh arā bāan Ţ ahūrā an (Al-'In sān : 21).
Upon them are garments of green silk, and satin. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. And their Lord will offer them a pure drink.
076021
عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَا بُ سُن دُسٍ خُ ضْ رٌ وَإِسْتَبْ رَ قٌ ۖ وَحُلُّو ا أَسَاوِرَ مِن ْ فِضَّ ةٍ وَسَقَ اهُمْ رَ بُّهُمْ شَرَ اباً طَ هُوراً
'Inn a Hādh ā Kā na Lakum Jazā 'an Wa Kā na Sa`yukum Mash kūrā an (Al-'In sān : 22).
"This is a reward for you. Your efforts are well appreciated."
076022
إِنّ َ هَذَا كَا نَ لَكُمْ جَزَا ءً وَكَا نَ سَعْيُكُمْ مَشْكُوراً
'Inn ā Naĥnu Nazzalnā `Alay ka A l-Q ur'ā na Tan zīlāan (Al-'In sān : 23).
It is We who sent down the Quran upon you"”a gradual revelation.
076023
إِنَّ ا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْ كَ ا لْقُ رْآنَ تَنْ زِيلاً
Fāş bir Liĥukmi Ra bbika Wa Lā Tuţ i` Minhum 'Āth imāan 'Aw Kafūrā an (Al-'In sān : 24).
So be patient for the decision of your Lord, and do not obey the sinner or the blasphemer among them.
076024
فَاصْ بِر ْ لِحُكْمِ رَ بِّكَ وَلاَ تُطِ عْ مِنْ هُمْ آثِماً أَوْ كَفُوراً
Wa A dh kur A Ra bbika Bukra tan Wa 'Aş īlāan (Al-'In sān : 25).
And mention the Name of your Lord, morning and evening.
076025
وَاذْكُرْ ا رَ بِّكَ بُكْرَ ةً وَأَصِ يلاً
Wa Mina A l-Lay li Fāsjud Lahu Wa Sabbiĥhu Laylāan Ţ awīlāan (Al-'In sān : 26).
And for part of the night, prostrate yourself to Him, and glorify Him long into the night.
076026
وَمِنَ ا ل لَّيْ لِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلاً طَ وِيلاً
'Inn a Hā 'uulā ' Yuĥibbū na A l-`Ājilata Wa Yadh arū na Warā 'ahum Yawmāan Th aq īlāan (Al-'In sān : 27).
As for these: they love the fleeting life, and leave behind a Heavy Day.
076027
إِنّ َ هَا ؤُلاَءِ يُحِبُّو نَ ا لْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُو نَ وَرَا ءَهُمْ يَوْماً ثَقِ يلاً
Naĥnu Kh q m Wa Sh adad nā 'Asra hum ۖ Wa 'Idh ā Sh i'nā Baddalnā 'Am th ālahum Tab dīlāan (Al-'In sān : 28).
We created them, and strengthened their frame; and whenever We will, We can replace them with others like them.
076028
نَحْنُ خَ لَقْ نَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْ نَا أَسْرَ هُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْ دِيلاً
'Inn a Hadh ihi Tadh kira tun ۖ Faman Sh ā 'a A kh dh a 'Ilá Ra bbihi Sabīlāan (Al-'In sān : 29).
This is a reminder; so whoever wills, let him take a path to his Lord.
076029
إِنّ َ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَ ةٌ ۖ فَمَن ْ شَا ءَ ا خَ ذَ إِلَى رَ بِّهِ سَبِيلاً
Wa Mā Tash ā 'ū na 'Illā 'An Yash ā 'a A ll āhu ۚ 'Inn a A ll āha Kā na `Alīmāan Ĥakīmāan (Al-'In sān : 30).
Yet you cannot will, unless God wills. God is Knowing and Wise.
076030
وَمَا تَشَا ءُو نَ إِلاَّ أَن ْ يَشَا ءَ ا ل لَّ هُ ۚ إِنّ َ ا للَّ هَ كَا نَ عَلِيماً حَكِيماً
Yud kh n Yash ā 'u Fī Ra ĥmatihi ۚ Wa A ž-Ž ālimī na 'A`adda Lahum `Adh ābāan 'Alīmāan (Al-'In sān : 31).
He admits into His mercy whomever He wills. But as for the wrongdoers, He has prepared for them a painful punishment.

يُدْ خِ لُ مَن ْ يَشَا ءُ فِي رَ حْمَتِهِ ۚ وَا ل ظَّ الِمِي نَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً
