| Tabbat Yadā 'Abī Lahabin Wa Tabba | 111.001 Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! | تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَب ٍ وَتَبَّ |
| Mā 'Aghná `Anhu Māluhu Wa Mā Kasaba | 111.002 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! | مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُه ُُ وَمَا كَسَبَ |
| Sayaşlá Nārāan Dhāta Lahabin | 111.003 Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! | سَيَصْلَى نَارا ً ذَاتَ لَهَب ٍ |
| Wa Amra'atuhu Ĥammālata Al-Ĥaţabi | 111.004 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- | وَامْرَأَتُه ُُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ |
| Fī Jīdihā Ĥablun Min Masadin | 111.005 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! | فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْل ٌ مِنْ مَسَد ٍ |
