| Al-Qāri`ahu | 101.001 The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: | الْقَارِعَةُ |
| Mā Al-Qāri`ahu | 101.002 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? | مَا الْقَارِعَةُ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Al-Qāri`ahu | 101.003 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ |
| Yawma Yakūnu An-Nāsu Kālfarāshi Al-Mabthūthi | 101.004 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, | يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ |
| Wa Takūnu Al-Jibālu Kāl`ihni Al-Manfūshi | 101.005 And the mountains will be like carded wool. | وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ |
| Fa'ammā Man Thaqulat Mawāzīnuhu | 101.006 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, | فَأَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ |
| Fahuwa Fī `Īshatin Rāđiyahin | 101.007 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. | فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَة ٍ رَاضِيَة ٍ |
| Wa 'Ammā Man Khaffat Mawāzīnuhu | 101.008 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- | وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ |
| Fa'ummuhu Hāwiyahun | 101.009 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. | فَأُمُّه ُُ هَاوِيَة ٌ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Hiyah | 101.010 And what will explain to thee what this is? | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ |
| Nārun Ĥāmiyahun | 101.011 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! | نَارٌ حَامِيَة ٌ |
