Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Nazzala Al-Furqāna `Alá `Abdihi Liyakūna Lil`ālamīna Nadhīan (Al-Furqān: 1). 025.001 Blessed is He who sent down the criterion to His servant, that it may be an admonition to all creatures;- تَبَا‌‍‍‍رَكَ ‌الَّذِي نَزَّلَ ‌الْفُرْقَ‍انَ عَلَى‌ عَ‍‍بْ‍‍دِهِ لِيَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِلْعَالَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ نَذِي‍‍ر‌اً
Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Lam Yattakhidh Waladāan Wa Lam Yakun Lahu Sharīkun Al-Mulki Wa Khalaqa Kulla Shay'in Faqaddarahu Taqan (Al-Furqān: 2). 025.002 He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: no son has He begotten, nor has He a partner in His dominion: it is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions. ‌الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ‌وَلَمْ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذْ وَلَد‌اً ‌وَلَمْ يَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُ شَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍كٌ فِي ‌الْمُلْكِ ‌وَ‍خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ كُلَّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دَّ‌‍رَهُ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍دِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Attakhadhū Min Dūnihi 'Ālihatan Lā Yakhluqūna Shay'āan Wa Hum Yukhlaqūna Wa Lā Yamlikūna Li'nfusihim Đaran Wa Lā Naf`āan Wa Lā Yamlikūna Mawtāan Wa Lā Ĥayāatan Wa Lā Nushūan (Al-Furqān: 3). 025.003 Yet have they taken, besides him, gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor can they control death nor life nor resurrection. وَ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌آلِهَة ً‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَهُمْ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍لَ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَمْلِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِأ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ ضَ‍‍رّ‌اً ‌وَلاَ‌ نَفْعاً ‌وَلاَ‌ يَمْلِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَوْتاً ‌وَلاَ‌ حَي‍‍َاةً ‌وَلاَ‌ نُشُو‌ر‌اً
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'In Hādhā 'Illā 'Ifkun Aftarāhu Wa 'A`ānahu `Alayhi Qawmun 'Ākharūna ۖ Faqad Jā'ū Žulmāan Wa Zūan (Al-Furqān: 4). 025.004 But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood. وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا إِلاَّ إِفْكٌ ‌افْتَ‍رَ‍‌اهُ ‌وَ‌أَعَانَهُ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ قَ‍‍وْمٌ ‌آ‍‍خَ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ۖ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ ظُ‍‍لْماً ‌وَ‌زُ‌و‌ر‌اً
Wa Qālū 'Asāţīru Al-'Awwalīna Aktatabahā Fahiya Tumlá `Alayhi Bukratan Wa 'Aşīlāan (Al-Furqān: 5). 025.005 And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening." وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَسَاطِ‍‍ي‍‍رُ‌الأَ‌وَّل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اكْتَتَبَهَا‌ فَهِيَ تُمْلَى‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ بُكْ‍رَةً ‌وَ‌أَ‍صِ‍‍يلاً
Qul 'Anzalahu Al-Ladhī Ya`lamu As-Sirra As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ 'Innahu Kāna Ghafūan Raĥīmāan (Al-Furqān: 6). 025.006 Say: "The (Qur'an) was sent down by Him who knows the mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلَهُ ‌الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍َ‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َانَ غَ‍‍فُو‌ر‌اً ‌‍رَحِيماً
Wa Qālū Māli Hādhā Ar-Rasūli Ya'kulu Aţ-Ţa`āma Wa Yamshī Fī Al-'Aswāqi ۙ Lawlā 'Unzila 'Ilayhi Malakun Fayakūna Ma`ahu Nadhīan (Al-Furqān: 7). 025.007 And they say: "What sort of an apostle is this, who eats food, and walks through the streets? Why has not an angel been sent down to him to give admonition with him? وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا م‍‍َالِ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ يَأْكُلُ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍ع‍‍َامَ ‌وَيَمْشِي فِي ‌الأَسْو‍َ‍‌اقِ ۙ لَوْلاَ أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مَلَكٌ فَيَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَعَهُ نَذِي‍‍ر‌اً
'Aw Yulqá 'Ilayhi Kanzun 'Aw Takūnu Lahu Jannatun Ya'kulu Minhā ۚ Wa Qāla Až-Žālimūna 'In Tattabi`ūna 'Illā Rajulāan Masĥūan (Al-Furqān: 8). 025.008 "Or (Why) has not a treasure been bestowed on him, or why has he (not) a garden for enjoyment?" The wicked say: "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched." أَ‌وْ‌ يُلْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ كَ‍‌‍ن‍‍زٌ أَ‌وْ‌ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لَهُ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۚ ‌وَقَ‍الَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلاَّ ‍رَجُلاً مَسْحُو‌ر‌اً
Anžur Kayfa Đarabū Laka Al-'Amthāla Fađallū Falā Yastaţī`ūna Sabīlāan (Al-Furqān: 9). 025.009 See what kinds of comparisons they make for thee! But they have gone astray, and never a way will they be able to find! ان‍‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ضَ‍رَبُوا لَكَ ‌الأَمْث‍‍َالَ فَ‍‍ضَ‍‍لُّوا فَلاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ سَبِيلاً
Tabāraka Al-Ladhī 'In Shā'a Ja`ala Laka Khayan Min Dhālika Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Wa Yaj`al Laka Quşūan (Al-Furqān: 10). 025.010 Blessed is He who, if that were His will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in). تَبَا‌‍‍‍رَكَ ‌الَّذِي ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَلِكَ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ وَيَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلْ لَكَ قُ‍‍صُ‍‍و‌ر‌اً
Bal Kadhdhabū Bis-Sā`ati ۖ Wa 'A`tadnā Liman Kadhdhaba Bis-Sā`ati Sa`īan (Al-Furqān: 11). 025.011 Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةِ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَعْتَ‍‍دْنَا‌ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَذَّبَ بِ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةِ سَعِي‍‍ر‌اً
'Idhā Ra'at/hum Min Makānin Ba`īdin Sami`ū Lahā Taghayyužāan Wa Zafīan (Al-Furqān: 12). 025.012 When it sees them from a place fAr off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. إِ‌ذَ‌ا ‍‍‍رَ‌أَتْهُ‍‍م مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَك‍‍َانٍ بَع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍د‌‌ٍ سَمِعُوا لَهَا‌ تَ‍‍غَ‍‍يُّ‍‍ظ‍‍اً ‌وَ‌زَفِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa 'Idhā 'Ulqū Minhā Makānāan Đayyiqāan Muqarranīna Da`awā Hunālika Thubūan (Al-Furqān: 13). 025.013 And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will pLead for destruction there and then! وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا أُلْ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مَكَاناً ضَ‍‍يِّ‍‍ق‍‍اً مُ‍‍قَ‍رَّن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌دَعَوْ‌ا‌ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُو‌ر‌اً
Lā Tad Al-Yawma Thubūan Wāĥidāan Wa AdThubūan Kathīan (Al-Furqān: 14). 025.014 "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft-repeated!" لاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْعُوا ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمَ ثُبُو‌ر‌اً ‌وَ‌احِد‌اً ‌وَ‌ا‌دْعُوا ثُبُو‌ر‌اً كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً
Qul 'Adhalika Khayrun 'Am Jannatu Al-Khuldi Allatī Wu`ida Al-Muttaqūna ۚ Kānat Lahum Jazā'an Wa Maşīan (Al-Furqān: 15). 025.015 Say: "Is that best, or the eternal garden, promised to the righteous? for them, that is a reward as well as a goal (of attainment). قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَ‌ذَلِكَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ أَمْ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةُ ‌الْ‍‍خُ‍‍لْدِ‌ ‌الَّتِي ‌وُعِدَ ‌الْمُتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَز‍َ‌اءً ‌وَمَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍ر‌اً
Lahum Fīhā Mā Yashā'ūna Khālidīna ۚ Kāna `Alá Rabbika Wa`dāan Mas'ūlāan (Al-Furqān: 16). 025.016 "For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord." لَهُمْ فِيهَا‌ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌ونَ خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ۚ ك‍‍َانَ عَلَى ‍رَبِّكَ ‌وَعْد‌اً مَسْئ‍‍ُ‍‍ولاً
Wa Yawma Yaĥshuruhum Wa Mā Ya`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi Fayaqūlu 'A'antum 'Ađlaltum `Ibādī Hā'uulā' 'Am Hum Đallū As-Sabīla (Al-Furqān: 17). 025.017 The day He will gather them together as well as those whom they worship besides God, He will ask: "Was it ye who let these My servants astray, or did they stray from the Path themselves?" وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ يَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَيَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌أَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‍ضْ‍‍لَلْتُمْ عِبَا‌دِي ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء أَمْ هُمْ ضَ‍‍لُّوا ‌ال‍‍سَّبِيلَ
Qālū Subĥānaka Mā Kāna Yanbaghī Lanā 'An Nattakhidha Min Dūnika Min 'Awliyā'a Wa Lakin Matta`tahum Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Nasū Adh-Dhikra Wa Kānū Qawmāanan (Al-Furqān: 18). 025.018 They will say: "Glory to Thee! not meet was it for us that we should take for protectors others besides Thee: But Thou didst bestow, on them and their fathers, good things (in life), until they forgot the Message: for they were a people (worthless and) lost." قَ‍‍الُوا سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَكَ مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍بَ‍‍غِ‍‍ي لَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ نَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَ وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَتَّعْتَهُمْ ‌وَ‌آب‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ حَتَّى‌ نَسُوا ‌ال‍‍ذِّكْ‍رَ وَكَانُوا قَ‍‍وْماً بُو‌ر‌اً
Faqad Kadhdhabūkum Bimā Taqūlūna Famā Tastaţī`ūna Şarfāan Wa Lā Naşan ۚ Wa Man Yažlim Minkum Nudhiqhu `Adhābāan Kabīan (Al-Furqān: 19). 025.019 (God will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كَذَّبُوكُمْ بِمَا‌ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ فَمَا‌ تَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ صَ‍‍رْفاً ‌وَلاَ‌ نَ‍‍صْ‍‍ر‌اً ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ نُذِ‍قْ‍‍‍‍هُ عَذَ‌اباً كَبِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Qablaka Mina Al-Mursalīna 'Illā 'Innahum Laya'kulūna Aţ-Ţa`āma Wa Yamshūna Fī Al-'Aswāqi ۗ Wa Ja`alnā Ba`đakum Liba`đin Fitnatan 'Ataşbirūna ۗ Wa Kāna Rabbuka Başīan (Al-Furqān: 20). 025.020 And the apostles whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for God is One Who sees (all things). وَم‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَكَ مِنَ ‌الْمُرْسَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِلاَّ إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ لَيَأْكُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍ع‍‍َامَ ‌وَيَمْش‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي ‌الأَسْو‍َ‍‌اقِ ۗ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ بَعْ‍‍ضَ‍‍كُمْ لِبَعْ‍‍ضٍ‌ فِتْنَةً ‌أَتَ‍‍صْ‍‍بِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ۗ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌‍رَبُّكَ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Lā Yarjūna Liqā'anā Lawlā 'Unzila `Alaynā Al-Malā'ikatu 'Aw Nará Rabbanā ۗ Laqadi Astakbarū Fī 'Anfusihim Wa `Atawā `Utūw7an Kabīan (Al-Furqān: 21). 025.021 Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَرْج‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ءَنَا‌ لَوْلاَ أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ عَلَيْنَا‌ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ نَ‍رَ‌ى ‍رَبَّنَا‌ ۗ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌وا فِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ ‌وَعَتَوْ‌ا‌ عُتُوّ‌اً كَبِي‍‍ر‌اً
Yawma Yarawna Al-Malā'ikata Lā Bushrá Yawma'idhin Lilmujrimīna Wa Yaqūlūna Ĥijan Maĥjūan (Al-Furqān: 22). 025.022 The Day they see the angels,- no joy will there be to the sinners that Day: The (angels) will say: "There is a barrier forbidden (to you) altogether!" يَ‍‍وْمَ يَ‍‍‍رَ‌وْنَ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةَ لاَ‌ بُشْ‍رَ‌ى‌ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ لِلْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ حِ‍‍جْ‍‍ر‌اً مَحْجُو‌ر‌اً
Wa Qadimnā 'Ilá Mā `Amilū Min `Amalin Faja`alnāhu Habā'an Manthūan (Al-Furqān: 23). 025.023 And We shall turn to whatever deeds they did (in this life), and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about. وَ‍‍قَ‍‍دِمْنَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ مَا‌ عَمِلُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْن‍‍َاهُ هَب‍‍َا‌ءً مَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍ثُو‌ر‌اً
'Aşĥābu Al-Jannati Yawma'idhin Khayrun Mustaqaran Wa 'Aĥsanu Maqīlāan (Al-Furqān: 24). 025.024 The Companions of the Garden will be well, that Day, in their abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. أَ‍‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ مُسْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍رّ‌اً ‌وَ‌أَحْسَنُ مَ‍‍قِ‍‍يلاً
Wa Yawma Tashaqqaqu As-Samā'u Bil-Ghamāmi Wa Nuzzila Al-Malā'ikatu Tanzīlāan (Al-Furqān: 25). 025.025 The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- وَيَ‍‍وْمَ تَشَ‍‍‍‍قَّ‍‍قُ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ بِ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍م‍‍َامِ ‌وَنُزِّلَ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تَ‍‌‍ن‍‍زِيلاً
Al-Mulku Yawma'idhin Al-Ĥaqqu Lilrraĥmani ۚ Wa Kāna Yawmāan `Alá Al-Kāfirīna `Asīan (Al-Furqān: 26). 025.026 That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (God) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the Misbelievers. ‌الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ لِ‍‍ل‍رَّحْمَنِ ۚ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ يَوْماً‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَسِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Yawma Ya`ađđu Až-Žālimu `Alá Yadayhi Yaqūlu Yā Laytanī Attakhadhtu Ma`a Ar-Rasūli Sabīlāan (Al-Furqān: 27). 025.027 The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Apostle! وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يَعَ‍‍‍‍ضُّ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمُ عَلَى‌ يَدَيْ‍‍هِ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ يَالَيْتَنِي ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْتُ مَعَ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ سَبِيلاً
Yā Waylatī Laytanī Lam 'Attakhidh Fulānāan Khalīlāan (Al-Furqān: 28). 025.028 "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! يَا‌وَيْلَتِي لَيْتَنِي لَمْ ‌أَتَّ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍ذْ‌ فُلاَناً‌ خَ‍‍لِيلاً
Laqad 'Ađallanī `Ani Adh-Dhikri Ba`da 'Idh Jā'anī ۗ Wa Kāna Ash-Shayţānu Lil'insāni Khadhūlāan (Al-Furqān: 29). 025.029 "He did lead me astray from the Message (of God) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!" Then the Apostle will say: لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‍ضَ‍‍لَّنِي عَنِ ‌ال‍‍ذِّكْ‍‍رِ بَعْدَ إِ‌ذْ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَنِي ۗ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ لِلإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانِ خَ‍‍ذُ‌ولاً
Wa Qāla Ar-Rasūlu Yā Rabbi 'Inna Qawm99 Attakhadhū Hādhā Al-Qur'āna Mahjūan (Al-Furqān: 30). 025.030 "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولُ يَا‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنّ‌َ قَ‍‍وْمِي ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنَ مَهْجُو‌ر‌اً
Wa Kadhalika Ja`alnā Likulli Nabīyin `Adūw7an Mina Al-Mujrimīna ۗ Wa Kafá Birabbika Hādīāan Wa Naşīan (Al-Furqān: 31). 025.031 Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help. وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا‌ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُ‌وّ‌اً مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ۗ ‌وَكَفَى‌ بِ‍‍‍رَبِّكَ هَا‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍اً ‌وَنَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lawlā Nuzzila `Alayhi Al-Qur'ānu Jumlatan Wāĥidatan ۚ Kadhālika Linuthabbita Bihi Fu'uādaka ۖ Wa Rattalnāhu Tartīlāan (Al-Furqān: 32). 025.032 Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لَوْلاَ‌ نُزِّلَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنُ جُمْلَةً ‌وَ‌احِدَةً ۚ كَذَلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤ‍َ‍‌ا‌دَكَ ۖ ‌وَ‌‍رَتَّلْن‍‍َاهُ تَرْتِيلاً
Wa Lā Ya'tūnaka Bimathalin 'Illā Ji'nāka Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Aĥsana Tafsīan (Al-Furqān: 33). 025.033 And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). وَلاَ‌ يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ جِئْن‍‍َاكَ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قِّ ‌وَ‌أَحْسَنَ تَفْسِي‍‍ر‌اً
Al-Ladhīna Yuĥsharūna `Alá Wujūhihim 'Ilá Jahannama 'Ūlā'ika Sharrun Makānāan Wa 'Ađallu Sabīlāan (Al-Furqān: 34). 025.034 Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces,- they will be in an evil plight, and, as to Path, most astray. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُحْشَر‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ ‌إِلَى‌ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ شَرٌّ مَكَاناً ‌وَ‌أَ‍‍ضَ‍‍لُّ سَبِيلاً
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Al-Kitāba Wa Ja`alnā Ma`ahu 'Akhāhu Hārūna Wazīan (Al-Furqān: 35). 025.035 (Before this,) We sent Moses The Book, and appointed his brother Aaron with him as minister; وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ آتَيْنَا‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ مَعَهُ ‌أَ‍خَ‍اهُ هَا‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَ‌زِي‍‍ر‌اً
Faqulnā Adh/habā 'Ilá Al-Qawmi Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Fadammarnāhum Tadan (Al-Furqān: 36). 025.036 And We command: "Go ye both, to the people who have rejected our Signs:" And those (people) We destroyed with utter destruction. فَ‍‍قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ ‌ا‌ذْهَبَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا‌ فَدَمَّ‍‍رْنَاهُمْ تَ‍‍دْمِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Qawma Nūĥin Lammā Kadhdhabū Ar-Rusula 'Aghraqnāhum Wa Ja`alnāhum Lilnnāsi 'Āyatan ۖ Wa 'A`tadnā Lilžžālimīna `Adhābāan 'Alīmāan (Al-Furqān: 37). 025.037 And the people of Noah,- when they rejected the apostles, We drowned them, and We made them as a Sign for mankind; and We have prepared for (all) wrong-doers a grievous Penalty;- وَ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ ن‍‍ُ‍وحٍ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ كَذَّبُوا ‌ال‍‍رُّسُلَ ‌أَغْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ ‌وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌آيَةً ۖ ‌وَ‌أَعْتَ‍‍دْنَا‌ لِل‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَذَ‌اباً أَلِيماً
Wa `Ādāan Wa Thamūda Wa 'Aşĥāba Ar-Rassi Wa Qurūnāan Bayna Dhālika Kathīan (Al-Furqān: 38). 025.038 As also 'Ad and Thamud, and the Companions of the Rass, and many a generation between them. وَعَا‌د‌اً ‌وَثَم‍‍ُ‍و‌دَ وَ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابَ ‌ال‍رَّسِّ ‌وَقُ‍‍رُ‌وناً بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌ذَلِكَ كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Kullāan Đarabnā Lahu Al-'Amthāla ۖ Wa Kullāan Tabbarnā Tatbīan (Al-Furqān: 39). 025.039 To each one We set forth Parables and examples; and each one We broke to utter annihilation (for their sins). وَكُلاًّ ضَ‍رَبْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ ‌الأَمْث‍‍َالَ ۖ ‌وَكُلاًّ تَبَّرْنَا‌ تَتْبِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Laqad 'Atawā `Alá Al-Qaryati Allatī 'Umţirat Maţara As-Saw'i ۚ 'Afalam Yakūnū Yarawnahā ۚ Bal Kānū Lā Yarjūna Nushūan (Al-Furqān: 40). 025.040 And the (Unbelievers) must indeed have passed by the town on which was rained a shower of evil: did they not then see it (with their own eyes)? But they fear not the Resurrection. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَتَوْ‌ا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْيَةِ ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أُمْ‍‍طِ‍رَتْ مَ‍‍طَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍سَّ‍‍وْ‌ءِ‌ ۚ ‌أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَ‍رَ‌وْنَهَا‌ ۚ بَلْ كَانُوا لاَ‌ يَرْج‍‍ُ‍ونَ نُشُو‌ر‌اً
Wa 'Idhā R'awka 'In Yattakhidhūnaka 'Illā Huzūan 'Ahadhā Al-Ladhī Ba`atha Allāhu Rasūlāan (Al-Furqān: 41). 025.041 When they see thee, they treat thee no otherwise than in mockery: "Is this the one whom God has sent as an apostle?" وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ر‌أَ‌وْكَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَتَّ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍ذُ‌ونَكَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُز‍ُ‍‌و‌اً أَهَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الَّذِي بَعَثَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌‍رَسُولاً
'In Kāda Layuđillunā `An 'Ālihatinā Lawlā 'An Şabarnā `Alayhā ۚ Wa Sawfa Ya`lamūna Ĥīna Yarawna Al-`Adhāba Man 'Ađallu Sabīlāan (Al-Furqān: 42). 025.042 "He indeed would well-nigh have misled us from our gods, had it not been that we were constant to them!" - Soon will they know, when they see the Penalty, who it is that is most misled in Path! إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َا‌دَ‌ لَيُ‍‍‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّنَا‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آلِهَتِنَا‌ لَوْلاَ أَ‌ن‌ْ صَ‍‍بَرْنَا‌ عَلَيْهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَسَ‍‍وْفَ يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍رَ‌وْنَ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‍ضَ‍‍لُّ سَبِيلاً
'Ara'ayta Mani Attakhadha 'Ilahahu Hawāhu 'Afa'anta Takūnu `Alayhi Wa Kīlāan (Al-Furqān: 43). 025.043 Seest thou such a one as taketh for his god his own passion (or impulse)? Couldst thou be a disposer of affairs for him? أَ‌‍‍‍رَ‌أَيْ‍‍تَ مَنِ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ إِلَهَهُ هَو‍َ‍‌اهُ ‌أَفَأَ‌نْ‍‍تَ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌وَكِيلاً
'Am Taĥsabu 'Anna 'Aktharahum Yasma`ūna 'Aw Ya`qilūna ۚ 'In Hum 'Illā Kāl'an`ām ۖ Bal Hum 'Ađallu Sabīlāan (Al-Furqān: 44). 025.044 Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path. أَمْ تَحْسَبُ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍‍‍رَهُمْ يَسْمَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ هُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَالأَنعَام‍ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ ‌أَ‍ضَ‍‍لُّ سَبِيلاً
'Alam Tará 'Ilá Rabbika Kayfa Madda Až-Žilla Wa Law Shā'a Laja`alahu Sākināan Thumma Ja`alnā Ash-Shamsa `Alayhi Dalīlāan (Al-Furqān: 45). 025.045 Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide; أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى إِلَى ‍رَبِّكَ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ مَدَّ ‌ال‍‍ظِّ‍‍لَّ ‌وَلَوْ‌ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِناً ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ جَعَلْنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌دَلِيلاً
Thumma Qabađnāhu 'Ilaynā Qabđāan Yasīan (Al-Furqān: 46). 025.046 Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ قَ‍‍بَ‍‍ضْ‍‍ن‍‍َاهُ ‌إِلَيْنَا‌ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍ض‍‍اً يَسِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-Layla Libāsāan Wa An-Nawma Subātāan Wa Ja`ala An-Nahāra Nushūan (Al-Furqān: 47). 025.047 And He it is Who makes the Night as a Robe for you, and Sleep as Repose, and makes the Day (as it were) a Resurrection. وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ لِبَاساً ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍وْمَ سُبَاتاً ‌وَجَعَلَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍‍‍رَ‌ نُشُو‌ر‌اً
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Arsala Ar-Riyāĥa Bushan Bayna Yaday Raĥmatihi ۚ Wa 'Anzalnā Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Ţahūan (Al-Furqān: 48). 025.048 And He it is Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy, and We send down pure water from the sky,- وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي ‌أَ‌رْسَلَ ‌ال‍‍رِّي‍‍َاحَ بُشْر‌اً بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ يَدَيْ ‌‍‍‍رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ م‍‍َا‌ءً طَ‍‍هُو‌ر‌اً
Linuĥyiya Bihi Baldatan Maytāan Wa Nusqiyahu Mimmā Khalaqnā 'An`āmāan Wa 'Anāsīya Kathīan (Al-Furqān: 49). 025.049 That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers. لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتاً ‌وَنُسْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍يَهُ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍عَاماً ‌وَ‌أَنَاسِيَّ كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Laqad Şarrafnāhu Baynahum Liyadhdhakkarū Fa'abá 'Aktharu An-Nāsi 'Illā Kufūan (Al-Furqān: 50). 025.050 And We have distributed the (water) amongst them, in order that they may celebrate (our) praises, but most men are averse (to aught) but (rank) ingratitude. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْصَ‍رَّفْن‍‍َاهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُ‌وا فَأَبَ‍‍ى أَكْثَرُ‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كُفُو‌ر‌اً
Wa Law Shi'nā Laba`athnā Fī Kulli Qaryatin Nadhīan (Al-Furqān: 51). 025.051 Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population. وَلَوْ‌ شِئْنَا‌ لَبَعَثْنَا‌ فِي كُلِّ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ نَذِي‍‍ر‌اً
Falā Tuţi`i Al-Kāfirīna Wa Jāhid/hum Bihi Jihādāan Kabīan (Al-Furqān: 52). 025.052 Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an). فَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍عِ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَجَاهِ‍‍دْهُمْ بِهِ جِهَا‌د‌اً كَبِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Maraja Al-Baĥrayni Hādhā `Adhbun Furātun Wa Hadhā Milĥun 'Ujājun Wa Ja`ala Baynahumā Barzakhāan Wa Ĥijan Maĥjūan (Al-Furqān: 53). 025.053 It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed. وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي مَ‍‍‍رَجَ ‌الْبَحْ‍رَيْ‍‍نِ هَذَ‌ا‌ عَذْبٌ فُ‍رَ‍‌اتٌ ‌وَهَذَ‌ا‌ مِلْحٌ ‌أُج‍‍َاجٌ ‌وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا‌ بَرْ‌زَ‍خ‍‍اً ‌وَحِ‍‍جْ‍‍ر‌اً مَحْجُو‌ر‌اً
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Mina Al-Mā'i Bashaan Faja`alahu Nasabāan Wa Şihan ۗ Wa Kāna Rabbuka Qadīan (Al-Furqān: 54). 025.054 It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ مِنَ ‌الْم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بَشَر‌اً فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَباً ‌وَ‍صِ‍‍هْر‌اً ۗ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌‍رَبُّكَ قَ‍‍دِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Ya`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi Mā Lā Yanfa`uhum Wa Lā Yađurruhum ۗ Wa Kāna Al-Kāfiru `Alá Rabbihi Žahīan (Al-Furqān: 55). 025.055 Yet do they worship, besides God, things that can neither profit them nor harm them: and the Misbeliever is a helper (of Evil), against his own Lord! وَيَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍فَعُهُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّهُمْ ۗ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رُعَلَى ‍رَبِّهِ ظَ‍‍هِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Mā 'Arsalnāka 'Illā Mubashshian Wa Nadhīan (Al-Furqān: 56). 025.056 But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition. وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْن‍‍َاكَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مُبَشِّ‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَنَذِي‍‍ر‌اً
Qul Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin 'Illā Man Shā'a 'An Yattakhidha 'Ilá Rabbihi Sabīlāan (Al-Furqān: 57). 025.057 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for it but this: that each one who will may take a (straight) Path to his Lord." قُ‍‍لْ مَ‍‍ا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ إِلَى ‍رَبِّهِ سَبِيلاً
Wa Tawakkal `Alá Al-Ĥayyi Al-Ladhī Lā Yamūtu Wa Sabbiĥ Biĥamdihi ۚ Wa Kafá Bihi Bidhunūbi `Ibādihi Khabīan (Al-Furqān: 58). 025.058 And put thy trust in Him Who lives and dies not; and celebrate his praise; and enough is He to be acquainted with the faults of His servants;- وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى‌ ‌الْحَيِّ ‌الَّذِي لاَ‌ يَم‍‍ُ‍وتُ ‌وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِ ۚ ‌وَكَفَى‌ بِهِ بِذُن‍‍ُ‍وبِ عِبَا‌دِهِ خَ‍‍بِي‍‍ر‌اً
Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Mā Baynahumā Fī Sittati 'Ayyāmin Thumma Astawá `Alá Al-`Arshi ۚ Ar-Raĥmānu Fās'al Bihi Khabīan (Al-Furqān: 59). 025.059 He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): God Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things). ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ ‌وَمَا‌ بَيْنَهُمَا‌ فِي سِتَّةِ ‌أَيّ‍‍َامٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌اسْتَوَ‌ى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَرْشِ ۚ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنُ فَاسْأَلْ بِهِ خَ‍‍بِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahum Asjudū Lilrraĥmani Qālū Wa Mā Ar-Raĥmānu 'Anasjudu Limā Ta'murunā Wa Zādahum Nufūan (Al-Furqān: 60). 025.060 When it is said to them, "Adore ye (God) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (God) Most Gracious? Shall we adore that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth). وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَهُمْ ‌اسْجُدُ‌وا لِ‍‍ل‍رَّحْمَنِ قَ‍‍الُوا ‌وَمَا‌ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنُ ‌أَنَسْجُدُ‌ لِمَا‌ تَأْمُرُنَا وَ‌زَ‌ا‌دَهُمْ نُفُو‌ر‌اً
Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Fī As-Samā'i Burūjāan Wa Ja`ala Fīhā Sijāan Wa Qamaan Munīan (Al-Furqān: 61). 025.061 Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; تَبَا‌‍‍‍رَكَ ‌الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بُرُ‌وجاً ‌وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا‌ سِ‍رَ‌اجاً ‌وَقَ‍‍مَر‌اً مُنِي‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra Khilfatan Liman 'Arāda 'An Yadhdhakkara 'Aw 'Arāda Shukūan (Al-Furqān: 62). 025.062 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي جَعَلَ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍‍‍رَخِ‍‍لْفَة ً‌ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌رَ‌ادَ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَذَّكَّ‍رَ أَ‌وْ أَ‌رَ‌ادَ‌ شُكُو‌ر‌اً
Wa `Ibādu Ar-Raĥmani Al-Ladhīna Yamshūna `Alá Al-'Arđi Hawnāan Wa 'Idhā Khāţabahumu Al-Jāhilūna Qālū Salāmāan (Al-Furqān: 63). 025.063 And the servants of (God) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; وَعِب‍‍َا‌دُ‌ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّحْمَنِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَمْش‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ هَوْناً ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ خَ‍‍اطَ‍‍بَهُمُ ‌الْجَاهِل‍‍ُ‍ونَ قَ‍‍الُوا سَلاَماً
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yabītūna Lirabbihim Sujjadāan Wa Qiyāmāan (Al-Furqān: 64). 025.064 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَبِيت‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِ‍‍‍رَبِّهِمْ سُجَّد‌اً ‌وَقِ‍‍يَاماً
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Rabbanā Aşrif `Annā `Adhāba Jahannama ۖ 'Inna `Adhābahā Kāna Ghaan (Al-Furqān: 65). 025.065 Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,- وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ ‌اصْ‍‍رِفْ عَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ ۖ ‌إِنّ‌َ عَذَ‌ابَهَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ غَ‍رَ‌اماً
'Innahā Sā'at Mustaqaran Wa Muqāmāan (Al-Furqān: 66). 025.066 "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; إِنَّ‍‍هَا‌ س‍‍َا‌ءَتْ مُسْتَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍رّ‌اً ‌وَمُ‍‍قَ‍‍اماً
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā 'Anfaqū Lam Yusrifū Wa Lam Yaqturū Wa Kāna Bayna Dhālika Qawāmāan (Al-Furqān: 67). 025.067 Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا أَ‌ن‍‍فَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا لَمْ يُسْ‍‍رِفُوا ‌وَلَمْ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تُرُ‌وا ‌وَك‍‍َانَ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌ذَلِكَ قَ‍‍وَ‌اماً
Wa Al-Ladhīna Lā Yad`ūna Ma`a Allāhi 'Ilahāan 'Ākhara Wa Lā Yaqtulūna An-Nafsa Allatī Ĥarrama Allāhu 'Illā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Lā Yaznūna ۚ Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Yalqa 'Athāmāan (Al-Furqān: 68). 025.068 Those who invoke not, with God, any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَعَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلَهاً ‌آ‍‍‍‍خَ‍رَ وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍فْسَ ‌الَّتِي حَ‍رَّمَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَزْن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَفْعَلْ ‌ذَلِكَ يَلْ‍‍قَ ‌أَثَاماً
Yuđā`af Lahu Al-`Adhābu Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wa Yakhlud Fīhi Muhānāan (Al-Furqān: 69). 025.069 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- يُ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَفْ لَهُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ‌وَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍دْ‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ مُهَاناً
'Illā Man Tāba Wa 'Āmana Wa `Amila `Amalāan Şāliĥāan Fa'ūlā'ika Yubaddilu Allāhu Sayyi'ātihim Ĥasanātin ۗ Wa Kāna Allāhu Ghafūan Raĥīmāan (Al-Furqān: 70). 025.070 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for God will change the evil of such persons into good, and God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, إِلاَّ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ت‍‍َابَ ‌وَ‌آمَنَ ‌وَعَمِلَ عَمَلاً صَ‍‍الِحاً فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ سَيِّئ‍‍َ‍‍اتِهِمْ حَسَن‍‍َاتٍ ۗ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ غَ‍‍فُو‌ر‌اً ‌‍رَحِيماً
Wa Man Tāba Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Fa'innahu Yatūbu 'Ilá Allāhi Matābāan (Al-Furqān: 71). 025.071 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to God with an (acceptable) conversion;- وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ت‍‍َابَ ‌وَعَمِلَ صَ‍‍الِحاً فَإِنَّ‍‍هُ يَت‍‍ُ‍وبُ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَتَاباً
Wa Al-Ladhīna Lā Yash/hadūna Az-Zūra Wa 'Idhā Marrū Bil-Laghwi Marrū Kian (Al-Furqān: 72). 025.072 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَشْهَد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌ال‍‍زّ‍ُ‍‌و‌‍‍‍رَ وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ مَرُّ‌وا بِ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍غْ‍‍وِ‌ مَرُّ‌وا كِ‍رَ‌اماً
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Dhukkirū Bi'āyāti Rabbihim Lam Yakhirrū `Alayhā Şummāan Wa `Umyānāan (Al-Furqān: 73). 025.073 Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind; وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ذُكِّرُ‌وا بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَ‍‍خِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍ُ‌وا عَلَيْهَا‌ صُ‍‍مّ‍‍اً ‌وَعُمْيَاناً
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Rabbanā Hab Lanā Min 'Azwājinā Wa Dhurrīyātinā Qurrata 'A`yunin Wa Aj`alnā Lilmuttaqīna 'Imāmāan (Al-Furqān: 74). 025.074 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ هَ‍‍ب‌ْ لَنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجِنَا وَ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّاتِنَا‌ قُ‍رَّةَ ‌أَعْيُنٍ ‌وَ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْنَا‌ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِمَاماً
'Ūlā'ika Yujzawna Al-Ghurfata Bimā Şabarū Wa Yulaqqawna Fīhā Taĥīyatan Wa Salāmāan (Al-Furqān: 75). 025.075 Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace, أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ يُ‍‍جْ‍‍زَ‌وْنَ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍رْفَةَ بِمَا‌ صَ‍‍بَرُ‌وا ‌وَيُلَ‍‍قَّ‍‍وْنَ فِيهَا‌ تَحِيَّةً ‌وَسَلاَماً
Khālidīna Fīhā ۚ Ĥasunat Mustaqaran Wa Muqāmāan (Al-Furqān: 76). 025.076 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ ۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍رّ‌اً ‌وَمُ‍‍قَ‍‍اماً
Qul Mā Ya`ba'u Bikum Rabbī Lawlā Du`ā'uukum ۖ Faqad Kadhdhabtum Fasawfa Yakūnu Lizāmāan (Al-Furqān: 77). 025.077 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" قُ‍‍لْ مَا‌ يَعْبَأُ‌ بِكُمْ ‌‍رَبِّي لَوْلاَ دُع‍‍َا‌ؤُكُمْ ۖ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كَذَّبْ‍‍تُمْ فَسَ‍‍وْفَ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لِزَ‌اماً
