'Alif-Lām-Mīm- ۚ Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi ۗ Wa Al-Ladhī 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Yu'uminūna (Ar-Ra`d: 1). 013.001 A.L.M.R. These are the signs (or verses) of the Book: that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth; but most men believe not. أَلِف-لَام-مِيم-‍‍‍رَ‌ا‌ ۚ تِلْكَ ‌آي‍‍َاتُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ۗ ‌وَ‌الَّذِي ‌أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī Rafa`a As-Samāwāti Bighayri `Amadin Tarawnahā ۖ Thumma Astawá `Alá Al-`Arshi ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara ۖ Kullun Yajrī Li'jalin Musamman ۚ Yudabbiru Al-'Amra Yufaşşilu Al-'Āyāti La`allakum Biliqā'i Rabbikumqinūna (Ar-Ra`d: 2). 013.002 God is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord. ‌اللَّهُ ‌الَّذِي ‌‍‍‍رَفَعَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ عَمَد‌‌ٍ تَ‍رَ‌وْنَهَا‌ ۖ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌اسْتَوَ‌ى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَرْشِ ۖ ‌وَسَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَ‍رَۖ كُلٌّ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي لِأجَلٍ مُسَ‍‍مّ‍‍ىً ۚ يُدَبِّ‍‍رُ‌الأَمْ‍رَ‌ يُفَ‍‍صِّ‍‍لُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ بِلِ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ءِ ‍رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِ‍‍نُونَ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Madda Al-'Arđa Wa Ja`ala Fīhā Rawāsiya Wa ۖ 'Anhāan Wa Min Kulli Ath-Thamarāti Ja`ala Fīhā Zawjayni ۖ Athnayni Yughshī Al-Layla ۚ An-Nahāra 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Liqawmin Yatafakkarūna (Ar-Ra`d: 3). 013.003 And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains standing firm and (flowing) rivers: and fruit of every kind He made in pairs, two and two: He draweth the night as a veil o'er the Day. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who consider! وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي مَدَّ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضَ ‌وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا ‍رَ‌وَ‌اسِيَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍هَا‌ر‌اً ۖ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ ‌ال‍‍ثَّمَ‍رَ‍‌اتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَ‌وْجَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌اثْنَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ۖ يُ‍‍غْ‍‍شِي ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍رَۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآي‍‍َاتٍ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Wa Fī Al-'Arđi Qiţa`un Mutajāwirātun Wa Jannātun Min 'A`nābin Wa Zar`un Wa Nakhīlun Şinwānun Wa Ghayru Şinwānin Yusqá Bimā'in Wāĥidin Wa Nufađđilu Ba`đahā `Alá Ba`đin Al-'Ukuli ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Liqawmin Ya`qilūna (Ar-Ra`d: 4). 013.004 And in the earth are tracts (diverse though) neighbouring, and gardens of vines and fields sown with corn, and palm trees - growing out of single roots or otherwise: watered with the same water, yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who understand! وَفِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ قِ‍‍طَ‍‍عٌ مُتَجَا‌وِ‌رَ‍‌اتٌ ‌وَجَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَعْن‍‍َابٍ ‌وَ‌زَ‌رْعٌ ‌وَنَ‍‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍لٌ صِ‍‍‌‍نْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌انٌ ‌وَغَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ صِ‍‍‌‍نْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌انٍ يُسْ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ بِم‍‍َا‌ء‌ٍ ‌وَ‌احِد‌ٍ ‌وَنُفَ‍‍ضِّ‍‍لُ بَعْ‍‍ضَ‍‍هَا‌ عَلَى‌ بَعْ‍‍ضٍ‌ فِي ‌الأُكُلِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآي‍‍َاتٍ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ يَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Wa 'In Ta`jab Fa`ajabun Qawluhum 'A'idhā Kunnā Tubāan 'A'innā Lafī Khalqin Jadīdin ۗ 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Al-'Aghlālu Fī 'A`nāqihim ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri ۖ Hum Fīhā Khālidūna (Ar-Ra`d: 5). 013.005 If thou dost marvel (at their want of faith), strange is their saying: "When we are (actually) dust, shall we indeed then be in a creation renewed?" They are those who deny their Lord! They are those round whose necks will be yokes (of servitude): they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)! وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَعْجَ‍‍ب‌ْ فَعَجَبٌ قَ‍‍وْلُهُمْ ‌أَئِذَ‌ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ تُ‍رَ‌اباً أَئِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَفِي خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قٍ جَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍دٍ‌ ۗ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا بِ‍رَبِّهِمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌الأَغْ‍‍لاَلُ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَعْنَاقِ‍‍هِمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Wa Yasta`jilūnaka Bis-Sayyi'ati Qabla Al-Ĥasanati Wa Qad Khalat Min Qablihimu Al-Mathulātu ۗ Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Ladhū Maghfiratin Lilnnāsi `Alá Žulmihim ۖ Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lashadīdu Al-`Iqābi (Ar-Ra`d: 6). 013.006 They ask thee to hasten on the evil in preference to the good: Yet have come to pass, before them, (many) exemplary punishments! But verily thy Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind for their wrong-doing, and verily thy Lord is (also) strict in punishment. وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِ‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئَةِ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَ ‌الْحَسَنَةِ ‌وَقَ‍‍دْخَ‍‍لَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمُ ‌الْمَثُلاَتُ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍رَبَّكَ لَذُ‌و‌ مَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٍ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ عَلَى‌ ظُ‍‍لْمِهِمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍رَبَّكَ لَشَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌الْعِ‍‍قَ‍‍ابِ
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lawlā 'Unzila `Alayhi 'Āyatun Min Rabbihi ۗ 'Innamā 'Anta Mundhirun ۖ Wa Likulli Qawmin Hādin (Ar-Ra`d: 7). 013.007 And the Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide. وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لَوْلاَ أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌آيَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّهِ ۗ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌رٌ ۖ ‌وَلِكُلِّ قَ‍‍وْمٍ هَا‌دٍ
Al-Lahu Ya`lamu Mā Taĥmilu Kullu 'Unthá Wa Mā Taghīđu Al-'Arĥāmu Wa Mā Tazdādu ۖ Wa Kullu Shay'in `Indahu Bimiqdārin (Ar-Ra`d: 8). 013.008 God doth know what every female (womb) doth bear, by how much the wombs fall short (of their time or number) or do exceed. Every single thing is before His sight, in (due) proportion. ‌اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ ‌أُ‌ن‍‍ثَى وَمَا‌ تَ‍‍‍‍غِ‍‍ي‍‍ضُ ‌الأَ‌رْح‍‍َامُ ‌وَمَا‌ تَزْ‌د‍َ‌ادُ‌ ۖ ‌وَكُلُّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ بِمِ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍دَ‌ا‌رٍ
`Ālimu Al-Ghaybi Wa Ash-Shahādati Al-Kabīru Al-Muta`ālī (Ar-Ra`d: 9). 013.009 He knoweth the unseen and that which is open: He is the Great, the Most High. عَالِمُ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شَّهَا‌دَةِ ‌الْكَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رُ‌الْمُتَعَالِي
Sawā'un Minkum Man 'Asarra Al-Qawla Wa Man Jahara Bihi Wa Man Huwa Mustakhfin Bil-Layli Wa Sāribun Bin-Nahāri (Ar-Ra`d: 10). 013.010 It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly; whether he lie hid by night or walk forth freely by day. سَو‍َ‌اءٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَسَ‍‍‍رَّ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلَ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ جَهَ‍رَ‌ بِهِ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هُوَ‌ مُسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍فٍ بِ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ‌وَسَا‌رِب‌‍ٌ بِ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍هَا‌رِ
Lahu Mu`aqqibātun Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi Yaĥfažūnahu Min 'Amri Allāhi ۗ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yughayyiru Mā Biqawmin Ĥattá Yughayyirū Mā Bi'anfusihim ۗ Wa 'Idhā 'Arāda Allāhu Biqawmin Sū'āan Falā Maradda Lahu ۚ Wa Mā Lahum Min Dūnihi Min Wa A- (Ar-Ra`d: 11). 013.011 For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of God. Verily never will God change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls). But when (once) God willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect. لَهُ مُعَ‍‍‍‍قِّ‍‍ب‍‍َاتٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ يَدَيْ‍‍هِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍لْفِهِ يَحْفَ‍‍ظُ‍‍ونَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍غَ‍‍يِّ‍‍رُمَا‌ بِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ حَتَّى‌ يُ‍‍غَ‍‍يِّرُ‌وا مَا‌ بِأَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا أَ‌رَ‌ادَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌اً فَلاَ‌ مَ‍رَ‌دَّ‌ لَهُ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَ‌الٍ
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yurīkumu Al-Barqa Khawfāan Wa Ţama`āan Wa Yunshi'u As-Saĥāba Ath-Thiqāla (Ar-Ra`d: 12). 013.012 It is He Who doth show you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope: It is He Who doth raise up the clouds, heavy with (fertilising) rain! هُوَ ‌الَّذِي يُ‍‍رِيكُمُ ‌الْبَرْ‍‍قَ خَ‍‍وْفاً ‌وَطَ‍‍مَعاً ‌وَيُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍شِئُ ‌ال‍‍سَّح‍‍َابَ ‌ال‍‍ثِّ‍‍قَ‍‍الَ
Wa Yusabbiĥu Ar-Ra`du Biĥamdihi Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Min Khīfatihi Wa Yursilu Aş-Şawā`iqa Fayuşību Bihā Man Yashā'u Wa Hum Yujādilūna Fī Al-Lahi Wa Huwa Shadīdu Al-Miĥāli (Ar-Ra`d: 13). 013.013 Nay, thunder repeateth His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith He striketh whomsoever He will..yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about God, with the strength of His power (supreme)! وَيُسَبِّحُ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّعْدُ‌ بِحَمْدِهِ ‌وَ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خِ‍‍يفَتِهِ ‌وَيُرْسِلُ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍وَ‌اعِ‍‍قَ فَيُ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍بُ بِهَا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَهُمْ يُجَا‌دِل‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي ‌اللَّهِ ‌وَهُوَ‌ شَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌الْمِحَالِ
Lahu Da`watu Al-Ĥaqqi ۖ Wa Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Lā Yastajībūna Lahum Bishay'in 'Illā Kabāsiţi Kaffayhi 'Ilá Al-Mā'i Liyablugha Fāhu Wa Mā Huwa Bibālighihi ۚ Wa Mā Du`ā'u Al-Kāfirīna 'Illā Fī Đalālin (Ar-Ra`d: 14). 013.014 For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind). لَهُ ‌دَعْوَةُ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قِّ ۖ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ لاَ‌ يَسْتَجِيب‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَهُمْ بِشَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَبَاسِ‍‍طِ كَفَّ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ لِيَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ‍‍غَ ف‍‍َاهُ ‌وَمَا‌ هُوَ‌ بِبَالِ‍‍غِ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌وَمَا دُع‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ
Wa Lillāh Yasjudu Man As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Ţaw`āan Wa Karhāan Wa Žilāluhum Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli (Ar-Ra`d: 15). 013.015 Whatever beings there are in the heavens and the earth do prostrate themselves to God (Acknowledging subjection),- with good-will or in spite of themselves: so do their shadows in the morning and evenings. وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ طَ‍‍وْعاً ‌وَكَرْهاً ‌وَظِ‍‍لاَلُهُمْ بِ‌الْ‍‍غُ‍‍دُ‌وِّ وَ‌الآ‍‍صَ‍‍الِ
Qul Man Rabbu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Quli Allāhu ۚ Qul 'Afāttakhadhtum Min Dūnihi 'Awliyā'a Lā Yamlikūna Li'nfusihim Naf`āan Wa Lā Đaran ۚ Qul Hal Yastawī Al-'A`má Wa Al-Başīru 'Am Hal Tastawī Až-Žulumātu Wa An-Nūr ۗ 'Am Ja`alū Lillāh Shurakā'a Khalaqū Kakhalqihi Fatashābaha Al-Khalqu `Alayhim ۚ Quli Allāhu Khāliqu Kulli Shay'in Wa Huwa Al-Wāĥidu Al-Qahhāru (Ar-Ra`d: 16). 013.016 Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) God." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to God partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "God is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible." قُ‍‍لْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبُّ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ قُ‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَف‍‍َاتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْتُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ لاَ‌ يَمْلِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِأ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ نَفْعاً ‌وَلاَ ضَ‍‍رّ‌اً ۚ قُ‍‍لْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي ‌الأَعْمَى وَ‌الْبَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍رُ‌أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِي ‌ال‍‍ظُّ‍‍لُم‍‍َاتُ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نُّ‍‍و‌ر‌ ۗ ‌أَمْ جَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُ‍رَك‍‍َا‌ءَ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قُ‍‍وا كَ‍‍خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قِ‍‍هِ فَتَشَابَهَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُ‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ خَ‍‍الِ‍‍قُ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ ‌وَهُوَ ‌الْوَ‌احِدُ‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍هَّا‌رُ
'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fasālat 'Awdiyatun Biqadarihā Fāĥtamala As-Saylu Zabadāan bīāan ۚ Wa Mimmā Yūqidūna `Alayhi Fī An-Nāri Abtighā'a Ĥilyatin 'Aw Matā`in Zabadun Mithluhu ۚ Kadhālika Yađribu Allāhu Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Al-Bāţila ۚ Fa'ammā Az-Zabadu Fayadh/habu Jufā'an ۖ Wa 'Ammā Mā Yanfa`u An-Nāsa Fayamkuthu Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Kadhālika Yađribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla (Ar-Ra`d: 17). 013.017 He sends down water from the skies, and the channels flow, each according to its measure: But the torrent bears away to foam that mounts up to the surface. Even so, from that (ore) which they heat in the fire, to make ornaments or utensils therewith, there is a scum likewise. Thus doth God (by parables) show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like forth cast out; while that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth God set forth parables. أَ‌ن‍‍زَلَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ م‍‍َا‌ءً فَسَالَتْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌دِيَة‌‍ٌ بِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍دَ‌رِهَا‌ فَاحْتَمَلَ ‌ال‍‍سَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لُ ‌زَبَد‌اً ‌‍رَ‌اب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍اً ۚ ‌وَمِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يُوقِ‍‍د‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فِي ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ ‌ابْ‍‍تِ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ءَ‌ حِلْيَةٍ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مَت‍‍َاعٍ ‌زَبَدٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ كَذَلِكَ يَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ‌وَ‌الْبَاطِ‍‍لَ ۚ فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ال‍‍زَّبَدُ‌ فَيَذْهَبُ جُف‍‍َا‌ءً ۖ ‌وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ مَا‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍فَعُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۚ كَذَلِكَ يَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الأَمْثَالَ
Lilladhīna Astajābū Lirabbihimu Al-Ĥusná ۚ Wa Al-Ladhīna Lam Yastajībū Lahu Law 'Anna Lahum Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Wa Mithlahu Ma`ahu Lāftadawā Bihi ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Lahum Sū'u Al-Ĥisābi Wa Ma'w7hum Jahannamu ۖ Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu (Ar-Ra`d: 18). 013.018 For those who respond to their Lord, are (all) good things. But those who respond not to Him,- Even if they had all that is in the heavens and on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom. For them will the reckoning be terrible: their abode will be Hell,- what a bed of misery! لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتَجَابُوا لِ‍‍‍رَبِّهِمُ ‌الْحُسْنَى‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُ لَوْ أَنّ‌َ لَهُمْ مَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ جَمِيعاً ‌وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لاَفْتَدَ‌وْ‌ا‌ بِهِ ۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءُ‌ ‌الْحِس‍‍َابِ ‌وَمَأْ‌وَ‌اهُمْ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مُ ۖ ‌وَبِئْسَ ‌الْمِهَا‌دُ
'Afaman Ya`lamu 'Annamā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Al-Ĥaqqu Kaman Huwa 'A`má ۚ 'Innamā Yatadhakkaru 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi (Ar-Ra`d: 19). 013.019 Is then one who doth know that that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth, like one who is blind? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition;- أَفَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَعْلَمُ ‌أَنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّكَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ كَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هُوَ أَعْمَ‍‍ىۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يَتَذَكَّرُ أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الأَلْبَابِ
Al-Ladhīna Yūfūna Bi`ahdi Allāhi Wa Lā Yanqūna Al-Mīthāqa (Ar-Ra`d: 20). 013.020 Those who fulfil the covenant of God and fail not in their plighted word; ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُوف‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِعَهْدِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ضُ‍‍ونَ ‌الْمِيثَاقَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yaşilūna Mā 'Amara Allāhu Bihi 'Anşala Wa Yakhshawna Rabbahum Wa Yakhāfūna Sū'a Al-Ĥisābi (Ar-Ra`d: 21). 013.021 Those who join together those things which God hath commanded to be joined, hold their Lord in awe, and fear the terrible reckoning; وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَ‍‍ا أَمَ‍رَ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِهِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُوصَ‍‍لَ ‌وَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍شَ‍‍وْنَ ‌‍رَبَّهُمْ ‌وَيَ‍‍خَ‍‍اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءَ ‌الْحِسَابِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Abtighā'a Wajhi Rabbihim Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Anfaqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Siran Wa `Alāniyatan Wa Yadra'ūna Bil-Ĥasanati As-Sayyi'ata 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Uq Ad-Dāri (Ar-Ra`d: 22). 013.022 Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home,- وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ صَ‍‍بَرُ‌وا ‌ابْ‍‍تِ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ءَ وَجْ‍‍هِ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَ‌أَقَ‍‍امُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فَ‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَ‌زَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ سِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍‌اً ‌وَعَلاَنِيَةً ‌وَيَ‍‍دْ‌‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌الْحَسَنَةِ ‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئَةَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ عُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَى‌ ‌ال‍‍دَّ‌ا‌رِ
Jannātu `Adnin Yadkhulūnahā Wa Man Şalaĥa Min 'Ābā'ihim Wa 'Azwājihim Wa Dhurrīyātihim ۖ Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Yadkhulūna `Alayhim Min Kulli Bābin (Ar-Ra`d: 23). 013.023 Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring: and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation): جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتُ عَ‍‍دْنٍ يَ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍لُونَهَا وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ صَ‍‍لَحَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آب‍‍َائِهِمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجِهِمْ ‌وَ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ يَ‍‍دْ‍خُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ بَابٍ
Salāmun `Alaykum Bimā Şabartum ۚ Fani`ma `Uq Ad-Dāri (Ar-Ra`d: 24). 013.024 "Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!" سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا‌ صَ‍‍بَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَى‌ ‌ال‍‍دَّ‌ا‌رِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yanqūna `Ahda Allāhi Min Ba`di Mīthāqihi Wa Yaqţa`ūna Mā 'Amara Allāhu Bihi 'Anşala Wa Yufsidūna Fī Al-'Arđi ۙ 'Ūlā'ika Lahumu Al-La`natu Wa Lahum Sū'u Ad-Dāri (Ar-Ra`d: 25). 013.025 But those who break the Covenant of God, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which God has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home! وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ضُ‍‍ونَ عَهْدَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مِيثَاقِ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍ع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَ‍‍ا أَمَ‍رَ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِهِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُوصَ‍‍لَ ‌وَيُفْسِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۙ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّعْنَةُ ‌وَلَهُمْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءُ‌ ‌ال‍‍دَّ‌ا‌رِ
Al-Lahu Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā'u Wa Yaqdiru ۚ Wa Fariĥū Bil-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Mā Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā Fī Al-'Ākhirati 'Illā Matā`un (Ar-Ra`d: 26). 013.026 God doth enlarge, or grant by (strict) measure, the sustenance (which He giveth) to whomso He pleaseth. (The wordly) rejoice in the life of this world: But the life of this world is but little comfort in the Hereafter. ‌اللَّهُ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍سُ‍‍‍‍طُ ‌ال‍‍رِّ‌زْقَ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍دِ‌رُۚ ‌وَفَ‍‍رِحُوا بِ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَمَا‌ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةُ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ فِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَتَاعٌ
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lawlā 'Unzila `Alayhi 'Āyatun Min Rabbihi ۗ Qul 'Inna Allāha Yuđillu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī 'Ilayhi Man 'Anāba (Ar-Ra`d: 27). 013.027 The Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Truly God leaveth, to stray, whom He will; But He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence,- وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لَوْلاَ أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌آيَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّهِ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيَهْدِي ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَنَابَ
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Taţma'innu Qulūbuhum Bidhikri Allāhi ۗ 'Alā Bidhikri Allāhi Taţma'innu Al-Qulūbu (Ar-Ra`d: 28). 013.028 "Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of God: for without doubt in the remembrance of God do hearts find satisfaction. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَتَ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍مَئِ‍‍نُّ قُ‍‍لُوبُهُمْ بِذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌أَلاَ‌ بِذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ تَ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍مَئِ‍‍نُّ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍لُوبُ
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Ţūbá Lahum Wa Ĥusnu Ma'ābin (Ar-Ra`d: 29). 013.029 "For those who believe and work righteousness, is (every) blessedness, and a beautiful place of (final) return." ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ طُ‍‍وبَى‌ لَهُمْ ‌وَحُسْنُ مَآبٍ
Kadhālika 'Arsalnāka Fī 'Ummatin Qad Khalat Min Qablihā 'Umamun Litatluwa `Alayhimu Al-Ladhī 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Wa Hum Yakfurūna Bir-Raĥmani ۚ Qul Huwa Rabbī Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa 'Ilayhi Matābi (Ar-Ra`d: 30). 013.030 Thus have we sent thee amongst a People before whom (long since) have (other) Peoples (gone and) passed away; in order that thou mightest rehearse unto them what We send down unto thee by inspiration; yet do they reject (Him), the Most Gracious! Say: "He is my Lord! There is no god but He! On Him is my trust, and to Him do I turn!" كَذَلِكَ ‌أَ‌رْسَلْن‍‍َاكَ فِ‍‍ي ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ قَ‍‍دْخَ‍‍لَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهَ‍‍ا أُمَم ٌ لِتَتْلُوَ‌ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الَّذِي ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌وَهُمْ يَكْفُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنِ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ هُوَ ‍رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ‌وَ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مَتَابِ
Wa Law 'Anna Qur'ānāan Suyyirat Bihi Al-Jibālu 'Aw Quţţi`at Bihi Al-'Arđu 'Aw Kullima Bihi Al-Mawtá ۗ Bal Lillāh Al-'Amru Jamī`āan ۗ 'Afalam Yay'asi Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'An Law Yashā'u Allāhu Lahadá An-Nāsa Jamī`āan ۗ Wa Lā Yazālu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Tuşībuhum Bimā Şana`ū Qāri`atun 'Aw Taĥullu Qarībāan Minrihim Ĥattá Ya'tiya Wa`du Allāhi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`āda (Ar-Ra`d: 31). 013.031 If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with God in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had God (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of God come to pass, for, verily, God will not fail in His promise. وَلَوْ أَنّ‌َ قُ‍‍رْ‌آناً سُيِّ‍رَتْ بِهِ ‌الْجِب‍‍َالُ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ قُ‍‍طِّ‍‍عَتْ بِهِ ‌الأَ‌رْضُ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ كُلِّمَ بِهِ ‌الْمَوْتَى‌ ۗ بَلْ لِلَّهِ ‌الأَمْرُ‌ جَمِيعاً‌ ۗ ‌أَفَلَمْ يَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئَسِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ لَوْ‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَهَدَ‌ى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ جَمِيعاً ۗ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَز‍َ‍‌الُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا تُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبُهُمْ بِمَا‌ صَ‍‍نَعُوا قَ‍‍ا‌رِعَةٌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَحُلُّ قَ‍‍رِيباً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دَ‌ا‌رِهِمْ حَتَّى‌ يَأْتِيَ ‌وَعْدُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍لِفُ ‌الْمِيعَا‌دَ
Wa Laqadi Astuhzi'a Birusulin Min Qablika Fa'amlaytu Lilladhīna Kafarū Thumma 'Akhadhtuhum ۖ Fakayfa Kāna `Iqābi (Ar-Ra`d: 32). 013.032 Mocked were (many) apostles before thee: but I granted respite to the unbelievers, and finally I punished them: Then how (terrible) was my requital! وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ فَأَمْلَ‍‍يْ‍‍تُ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َانَ عِ‍‍قَ‍‍ابِ
'Afaman Huwa Qā'imun `Alá Kulli Nafsin Bimā Kasabat ۗ Wa Ja`alū Lillāh Shurakā'a Qul Sammūhum ۚ 'Am Tunabbi'ūnahu Bimā Lā Ya`lamu Fī Al-'Arđi 'Am Bižāhirin Mina Al-Qawli ۗ Bal Zuyyina Lilladhīna Kafarū Makruhum Wa Şuddū `Ani As-Sabīli ۗ Wa Man Yuđlili Allāhu Famā Lahu Min Hādin (Ar-Ra`d: 33). 013.033 Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to God. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom God leaves to stray, no one can guide. أَفَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هُوَ قَ‍‍ائِمٌ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا‌ كَسَبَتْ ۗ ‌وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُ‍رَك‍‍َا‌ءَ قُ‍‍لْ سَ‍‍مُّ‍‍وهُمْ ۚ ‌أَمْ تُنَبِّئ‍‍ُ‍‍ونَهُ بِمَا‌ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌أَمْ بِ‍‍ظَ‍‍اهِ‍‍ر‌ٍ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ ۗ بَلْ ‌زُيِّنَ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا مَكْرُهُمْ ‌وَ‍صُ‍‍دُّ‌وا عَنِ ‌ال‍‍سَّب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِلِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فَمَا‌ لَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هَا‌دٍ
Lahum `Adhābun Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۖ Wa La`adhābu Al-'Ākhirati 'Ashaqqu ۖ Wa Mā Lahum Mina Allāhi Min Wāqin (Ar-Ra`d: 34). 013.034 For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter: and defender have they none against God. لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۖ ‌وَلَعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌أَشَ‍‍قُّ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ لَهُمْ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَ‌اقٍ
Mathalu Al-Jannati Allatī Wu`ida Al-Muttaqūna ۖ Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru ۖ 'Ukuluhā Dā'imun Wa Žilluhā ۚ Tilka `Uq Al-Ladhīna Attaqaw ۖ Wa `Uq Al-Kāfirīna An-Nāru (Ar-Ra`d: 35). 013.035 The parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised!- beneath it flow rivers: perpetual is the enjoyment thereof and the shade therein: such is the end of the Righteous; and the end of Unbelievers in the Fire. مَثَلُ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ‌الَّتِي ‌وُعِدَ ‌الْمُتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ۖ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ۖ ‌أُكُلُهَا د‍َ‍‌ائِمٌ ‌وَظِ‍‍لُّهَا‌ ۚ تِلْكَ عُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍و‌ا‌ ۖ ‌وَعُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَى‌ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌رُ
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Ātaynāhumu Al-Kitāba Yafraĥūna Bimā 'Unzila 'Ilayka ۖ Wa Mina Al-'Aĥzābi Man Yunkiru Ba`đahu ۚ Qul 'Innamā 'Umirtu 'An 'A`buda Allāha Wa Lā 'Ushrika Bihi ۚ 'Ilayhi 'Ad`ū Wa 'Ilayhi Ma'ābi (Ar-Ra`d: 36). 013.036 Those to whom We have given the Book rejoice at what hath been revealed unto thee: but there are among the clans those who reject a part thereof. Say: "I am commanded to worship God, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him do I call, and unto Him is my return." وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آتَيْنَاهُمُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ يَفْ‍‍‍رَح‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِمَ‍‍ا أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۖ ‌وَمِنَ ‌الأَحْز‍َ‍‌ابِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِ‍‍رُبَعْ‍‍ضَ‍‍هُ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أُمِ‍‍ر‌ْتُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَعْبُدَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَلاَ أُشْ‍‍رِكَ بِهِ ۚ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‌دْعُو وَ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مَآبِ
Wa Kadhalika 'Anzalnāhu Ĥukmāan `Aray7an ۚ Wa La'ini Attaba`ta 'Ahwā'ahum Ba`damā Jā'aka Mina Al-`Ilmi Mā Laka Mina Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Wāqin (Ar-Ra`d: 37). 013.037 Thus have We revealed it to be a judgment of authority in Arabic. Wert thou to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither protector nor defender against God. وَكَذَلِكَ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْن‍‍َاهُ حُكْماً‌ عَ‍‍‍رَبِيّاً ۚ ‌وَلَئِنِ ‌اتَّبَعْتَ ‌أَهْو‍َ‌اءَهُمْ بَعْدَمَا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَكَ مِنَ ‌الْعِلْمِ مَا‌ لَكَ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَلِيٍّ ‌وَلاَ وَ‌اقٍ
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Rusulāan Min Qablika Wa Ja`alnā Lahum 'Azwājāan Wa Dhurrīyatan ۚ Wa Mā Kāna Lirasūlin 'An Ya'tiya Bi'āyatin 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi ۗ Likulli 'Ajalin Kitābun (Ar-Ra`d: 38). 013.038 We did send apostles before thee, and appointed for them wives and children: and it was never the part of an apostle to bring a sign except as God permitted (or commanded). For each period is a Book (revealed). وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌رْسَلْنَا رُسُلاً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ لَهُمْ ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجاً ‌وَ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّةً ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لِ‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٍ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ لِكُلِّ ‌أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ
Yamĥū Allahu Mā Yashā'u Wa Yuthbitu ۖ Wa `Indahu 'Ummu Al-Kitābi (Ar-Ra`d: 39). 013.039 God doth blot out or confirm what He pleaseth: with Him is the Mother of the Book. يَمْحُوا ‌اللَّهُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ ‌وَعِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ ‌أُمُّ ‌الْكِتَابِ
Wa 'In Mā Nuriyannaka Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Na`iduhum 'Aw Natawaffayannaka Fa'innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Wa `Alaynā Al-Ĥisābu (Ar-Ra`d: 40). 013.040 Whether We shall show thee (within thy life-time) part of what we promised them or take to ourselves thy soul (before it is all accomplished),- thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account. وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ مَا‌ نُ‍‍رِيَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ بَعْ‍‍‍‍ضَ ‌الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ نَتَوَفَّيَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ فَإِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌الْبَلاَغُ ‌وَعَلَيْنَا‌ ‌الْحِسَابُ
'Awalam Yarawā 'Annā Na'tī Al-'Arđa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţfihā ۚ Wa Allāhu Yaĥkumu Lā Mu`aqqiba Liĥukmihi ۚ Wa Huwa Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi (Ar-Ra`d: 41). 013.041 See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? (Where) God commands, there is none to put back His Command: and He is swift in calling to account. أَ‌وَلَمْ يَ‍‍‍رَ‌وْ‌ا أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ نَأْتِي ‌الأَ‌رْضَ نَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍صُ‍‍هَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‍طْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌افِهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لاَ‌ مُعَ‍‍قِّ‍‍بَ لِحُكْمِهِ ۚ ‌وَهُوَ‌ سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْحِسَابِ
Wa Qad Makara Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Falillāhi Al-Makru Jamī`āan ۖ Ya`lamu Mā Taksibu Kullu Nafsin ۗ Wa Saya`lamu Al-Kuffāru Liman `Uq Ad-Dāri (Ar-Ra`d: 42). 013.042 Those before them did (also) devise plots; but in all things the master-planning is God's He knoweth the doings of every soul: and soon will the Unbelievers know who gets home in the end. وَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ مَكَ‍رَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ فَ‍‍لِلَّهِ ‌الْمَكْرُ‌ جَمِيعاً ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ۗ ‌وَسَيَعْلَمُ ‌الْكُفّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَى‌ ‌ال‍‍دَّ‌ا‌رِ
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lasta Mursalāan ۚ Qul Kafá Billāhi Shahīdāan Bayn99 Wa Baynakum Wa Man `Indahu `Ilmu Al-Kitābi (Ar-Ra`d: 43). 013.043 The Unbelievers say: "No apostle art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is God, and such as have knowledge of the Book." وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلاً ۚ قُ‍‍لْ كَفَى‌ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ شَهِيد‌اً بَيْنِي ‌وَبَيْنَكُمْ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ عِلْمُ ‌الْكِتَابِ
