Al-Lahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu ('āli `Imn: 2). 003.002 God! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. ‌اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ ‌الْحَيُّ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍يُّومُ
Nazzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Wa 'Anzala At-Tawata Wa Al-'Injīla ('āli `Imn: 3). 003.003 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong). نَزَّلَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قِّ مُ‍‍صَ‍‍دِّ‍‍ق‍‍اً لِمَا‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ يَدَيْ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلَ ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌رَ‍‌اةَ ‌وَ‌الإِ‌نْ‍‍جِيلَ
Min Qablu Hudan Lilnnāsi Wa 'Anzala Al-Furqāna ۗ 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'āyāti Allāhi Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun ۗ Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin ('āli `Imn: 4). 003.004 Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of God will suffer the severest penalty, and God is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution. مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ هُ‍‍د‌ىً لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلَ ‌الْفُرْقَ‍انَ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ شَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍دٌ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زٌ ‌ذُ‌و‌ ‌انْ‍‍تِ‍‍قَ‍‍امٍ
'Inna Allāha Lā Yakhfá `Alayhi Shay'un Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i ('āli `Imn: 5). 003.005 From God, verily nothing is hidden on earth or in the heavens. إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍فَى‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ شَ‍‍يْءٌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَلاَ‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ء‍ِ‍
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yuşawwirukum Al-'Arĥāmi Kayfa Yashā'u ۚ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu ('āli `Imn: 6). 003.006 He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. هُوَ ‌الَّذِي يُ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍وِّ‌رُكُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْح‍‍َامِ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌الْحَكِيمُ
Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Anzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Minhu 'Āyātun Muĥkamātun Hunna 'Ummu Al-Kitābi Wa 'Ukharu Mutashābihātun ۖ Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Zayghun Fayattabi`ūna Mā Tashābaha Minhu Abtighā'a Al-Fitnati Wa Abtighā'a Ta'w9lihi ۗ Wa Mā Ya`lamu Ta'w9lahu 'Illā Al-Lahu ۗ Wa Ar-sikhūna Fī Al-`Ilmi Yaqūlūna 'Āmannā Bihi Kullun Min `Indi Rabbinā ۗ Wa Mā Yadhdhakkaru 'Illā 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi ('āli `Imn: 7). 003.007 He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except God. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding. هُوَ ‌الَّذِي ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌آي‍‍َاتٌ مُحْكَم‍‍َاتٌ هُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أُمُّ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌وَ‌أُ‍‍خَ‍‍رُ‌ مُتَشَابِه‍‍َاتٌ ۖ فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ ‌زَيْ‍‍غ‌‍ٌ‌ فَيَتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَا‌ تَشَابَهَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌ابْ‍‍تِ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ءَ ‌الْفِتْنَةِ ‌وَ‌ابْ‍‍تِ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ءَ‌ تَأْ‌وِيلِهِ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ يَعْلَمُ تَأْ‌وِيلَهُ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍رَّ‌اسِ‍‍خُ‍‍ونَ فِي ‌الْعِلْمِ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِهِ كُلٌّ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ ‍رَبِّنَا‌ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الأَلْبَابِ
Rabbanā Lā Tuzigh Qulūbanā Ba`da 'Idh Hadaytanā Wa Hab Lanā Min Ladunka Raĥmatan ۚ 'Innaka 'Anta Al-Wahhābu ('āli `Imn: 8). 003.008 "Our Lord!" (they say), "Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure. ‍‍‍رَبَّنَا‌ لاَ‌ تُزِغْ قُ‍‍لُوبَنَا‌ بَعْدَ إِ‌ذْ‌ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَ‍‍ب‌ْ لَنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُ‌نْ‍‍كَ ‌‍رَحْمَةً ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbanā 'Innaka Jāmi`u An-Nāsi LiyawminRayba Fīhi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`āda ('āli `Imn: 9). 003.009 "Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind Together against a day about which there is no doubt; for God never fails in His promise." ‍‍‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍كَ جَامِعُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لِيَ‍‍وْمٍ لاَ ‍رَيْ‍‍بَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍لِفُ ‌الْمِيعَا‌دَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Hum Wa Qūdu An-Nāri ('āli `Imn: 10). 003.010 Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against God: They are themselves but fuel for the Fire. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍نِيَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌أَمْوَ‌الُهُمْ ‌وَلاَ أَ‌وْلاَ‌دُهُمْ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۖ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمْ ‌وَقُ‍‍و‌دُ‌ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌رِ
Kada'bi 'Āli Fir`awna Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۚ Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Fa'akhadhahumu Allāhu Bidhunūbihim ۗ Wa Allāhu Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi ('āli `Imn: 11). 003.011 (Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and God called them to account for their sins. For God is strict in punishment. كَدَ‌أْبِ ‌آلِ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا‌ فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ شَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌الْعِ‍‍قَ‍‍ابِ
Qul Lilladhīna Kafarū Satughlabūna Wa Tuĥsharūna 'Ilá Jahannama ۚ Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu ('āli `Imn: 12). 003.012 Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to Hell,-an evil bed indeed (to lie on)! قُ‍‍لْ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا سَتُ‍‍غْ‍‍لَب‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَتُحْشَر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌إِلَى‌ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ ۚ ‌وَبِئْسَ ‌الْمِهَا‌دُ
Qad Kāna Lakum 'Āyatun Fī Fi'atayni Altaqatā ۖ Fi'atun Tuqātilu Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa 'Ukhrá Kāfiratun Yarawnahum Mithlayhim Ra'ya Al-`Ayni ۚ Wa Allāhu Yu'uayyidu Binaşrihi Man Yashā'u ۗ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La`ibratan Li'wl99 Al-'Abşāri ('āli `Imn: 13). 003.013 "There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies that met (in combat): One was fighting in the cause of God, the other resisting God; these saw with their own eyes Twice their number. But God doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see." قَ‍‍دْ‌ ك‍‍َانَ لَكُمْ ‌آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌الْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍تَا‌ ۖ فِئَةٌ تُ‍‍قَ‍‍اتِلُ فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌أُخْ‍رَ‌ى‌ كَافِ‍رَةٌ يَ‍رَ‌وْنَهُمْ مِثْلَيْهِمْ ‌‍رَ‌أْيَ ‌الْعَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ‌ بِنَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَعِ‍‍بْ‍‍‍رَة ً‌ لِأ‌و‍‍ْ‍لِي ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِ
Zuyyina Lilnnāsi Ĥubbu Ash-Shahawāti Mina An-Nisā' Wa Al-Banīna Wa Al-Qanāţīri Al-Muqanţarati Mina Adh-Dhahabi Wa Al-Fiđđati Wa Al-Khayli Al-Musawwamati Wa Al-'An`āmi Wa Al-Ĥarthi ۗ Dhālika Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۖ Wa Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Al-Ma'ābi ('āli `Imn: 14). 003.014 Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness to God is the best of the goals (To return to). زُيِّنَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ حُبُّ ‌ال‍‍شَّهَو‍َ‍‌اتِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نِس‍‍َا‌ء وَ‌الْبَن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍نَاطِ‍‍ي‍‍رِ‌ ‌الْمُ‍‍قَ‍‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍طَ‍رَةِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ذَّهَبِ ‌وَ‌الْفِ‍‍ضَّ‍‍ةِ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ‌الْمُسَوَّمَةِ ‌وَ‌الأَنع‍‍َامِ ‌وَ‌الْحَرْثِ ۗ ‌ذَلِكَ مَت‍‍َاعُ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ حُسْنُ ‌الْمَآبِ
Qul 'A'uunabbi'ukum Bikhayrin Min Dhalikum ۚ Lilladhīna Attaqawā `Inda Rabbihim Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa 'Azwājun Muţahharatun Wa Riđwānun Mina Allāhi ۗ Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi ('āli `Imn: 15). 003.015 Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of God. For in God's sight are (all) His servants,- قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَ‌ؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّهِمْ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا وَ‌أَ‌زْ‌و‍َ‍‌اجٌ مُ‍‍طَ‍‍هَّ‍رَةٌ ‌وَ‌رِ‍ضْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌انٌ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍رٌ بِ‌الْعِبَا‌دِ
Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Rabbanā 'Innanā 'Āmannā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Qinā `Adhāba An-Nāri ('āli `Imn: 16). 003.016 (Namely), those who say: "Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire;"- ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍نَ‍‍ا آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ فَاغْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِ‍‍نَا‌ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌رِ
Aş-Şābirīna Wa Aş-Şādiqīna Wa Al-Qānitīna Wa Al-Munfiqīna Wa Al-Mustaghfirīna Bil-'Asĥāri ('āli `Imn: 17). 003.017 Those who show patience, Firmness and self-control; who are true (in word and deed); who worship devoutly; who spend (in the way of God); and who pray for forgiveness in the early hours of the morning. ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍انِت‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْمُسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بِ‌الأَسْحَا‌رِ
Shahida Allāhu 'Annahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Wa 'Ūlū Al-`Ilmi Qā'imāan Bil-Qisţi ۚ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu ('āli `Imn: 18). 003.018 There is no god but He: That is the witness of God, His angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Power, the Wise. شَهِدَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ وَ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الْعِلْمِ قَ‍‍ائِماً بِ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍سْ‍‍طِ ۚ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌الْحَكِيمُ
'Inna Ad-Dīna `Inda Allāhi Al-'Islāmu ۗ Wa Mā Akhtalafa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba 'Illā Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-`Ilmu Baghy7an Baynahum ۗ Wa Man Yakfur Bi'āyāti Allāhi Fa'inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi ('āli `Imn: 19). 003.019 The Religion before God is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of God, God is swift in calling to account. إِنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الإِسْلاَمُ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ ‌ا‍‍خْ‍‍تَلَفَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْعِلْمُ بَ‍‍غْ‍‍ياً بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَكْفُرْ‌ بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْحِسَابِ
Fa'in Ĥājjūka Faqul 'Aslamtu Wajhiya Lillahi Wa Mani Attaba`ani Wa Qul ۗ Lilladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Wa Al-'Ummīyīna 'A'aslamtum Fa'in ۚ 'Aslamū Faqadi Ahtadaw Wa 'In ۖ Tawallawā Fa'innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Wa Allāhu ۗ Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi ('āli `Imn: 20). 003.020 So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to God and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in God's sight are (all) His servants. فَإِ‌ن‌ْ ح‍‍َاجّ‍‍ُ‍وكَ فَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَسْلَمْتُ ‌وَجْ‍‍هِيَ لِلَّهِ ‌وَمَنِ ‌اتَّبَعَنِ ۗ ‌وَقُ‍‍لْ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَ‌الأُمِّ‍‍يّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‌أَسْلَمْتُمْ ۚ فَإِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَسْلَمُوا فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اهْتَدَ‌و‌ا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّوْ‌ا‌ فَإِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌الْبَلاَغُ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍رٌ بِ‌الْعِبَا‌دِ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Yaqtulūna An-Nabīyīna Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Yaqtulūna Al-Ladhīna Ya'murūna Bil-Qisţi Mina An-Nāsi Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin ('āli `Imn: 21). 003.021 As to those who deny the Signs of God and in defiance of right, slay the prophets, and slay those who teach just dealing with mankind, announce to them a grievous penalty. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَكْفُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حَ‍‍قٍّ ‌وَيَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَأْمُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍سْ‍‍طِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ فَبَشِّ‍‍ر‌ْهُمْ بِعَذ‍َ‍‌ابٍ ‌أَلِيمٍ
'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Ĥabiţat 'A`māluhum Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Minşirīna ('āli `Imn: 22). 003.022 They are those whose works will bear no fruit in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help. أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ حَبِ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍تْ ‌أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَمَا‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَاصِ‍‍رِينَ
'Alam Tara 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Naşībāan Mina Al-Kitābi Yud`awna 'Ilá Kitābi Allāhi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum Thumma Yatawallá Farīqun Minhum Wa Hum Mu`rūna ('āli `Imn: 23). 003.023 Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of God, to settle their dispute, but a party of them Turn back and decline (The arbitration). أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ إِلَى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا نَ‍‍صِ‍‍يباً مِنَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ يُ‍‍دْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌إِلَى‌ كِت‍‍َابِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَتَوَلَّى‌ فَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍قٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَهُمْ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Lan Tamassanā An-Nāru 'Illā 'Ayyāmāan Ma`dūdātin ۖ Wa Gharrahum Fī Dīnihim Mā Kānū Yaftarūna ('āli `Imn: 24). 003.024 This because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days": For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion. ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍‍الُوا لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَمَسَّنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رُ إِلاَّ أَيَّاماً مَعْدُ‌و‌د‍َ‍‌اتٍ ۖ ‌وَغَ‍رَّهُمْ فِي ‌دِينِهِمْ مَا‌ كَانُوا يَفْتَرُ‌ونَ
Fakayfa 'Idhā Jama`nāhum LiyawminRayba Fīhi Wa Wuffiyat Kullu Nafsin Mā Kasabat Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna ('āli `Imn: 25). 003.025 But how (will they fare) when we gather them together against a day about which there is no doubt, and each soul will be paid out just what it has earned, without (favour or) injustice? فَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَ‍‍وْمٍ لاَ ‍‍‍رَيْ‍‍بَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌وُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا‌ كَسَبَتْ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍ظْ‍‍لَمُونَ
Quli Allāhumma Mālika Al-Mulki Tu'utī Al-Mulka Man Tashā'u Wa Tanzi`u Al-Mulka Mimman Tashā'u Wa Tu`izzu Man Tashā'u Wa Tudhillu Man Tashā'u ۖ Biyadika Al-Khayru ۖ 'Innaka `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun ('āli `Imn: 26). 003.026 Say: "O God! Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power. قُ‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ‍‍مّ‌َ مَالِكَ ‌الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي ‌الْمُلْكَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍زِعُ ‌الْمُلْكَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَتُعِزُّ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۖ بِيَدِكَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
Tūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Tūliju An-Nahāra Al-Layli ۖ Wa Tukhriju Al-Ĥayya Mina Al-Mayyiti Wa Tukhriju Al-Mayyita Mina ۖ Al-Ĥayyi Wa Tarzuqu Man Tashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin ('āli `Imn: 27). 003.027 "Thou causest the night to gain on the day, and thou causest the day to gain on the night; Thou bringest the Living out of the dead, and Thou bringest the dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure." تُولِجُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ فِي ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رِ ‌وَتُولِجُ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍‍‍رَ‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ۖ ‌وَتُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجُ ‌الْحَيَّ مِنَ ‌الْمَيِّتِ ‌وَتُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجُ ‌الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ‌الْحَيِّ ۖ ‌وَتَرْ‌زُقُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حِسَابٍ
Lā Yattakhidhi Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Kāfirīna 'Awliyā'a Min Dūni Al-Mu'uminīna ۖ Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Falaysa Mina Allāhi Fī Shay'in 'Illā 'An Tattaqū Minhum Tuqāatan ۗ Wa Yuĥadhdhirukumu Allāhu Nafsahu ۗ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Al-Maşīru ('āli `Imn: 28). 003.028 Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from God: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But God cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to God. لاَ‌ يَتَّ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍ذِ‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَفْعَلْ ‌ذَلِكَ فَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فِي شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ تُ‍‍قَ‍اةً ۗ ‌وَيُحَذِّ‌رُكُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْمَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
Qul 'In Tukhfū Mā Fī Şudūrikum 'Aw Tubdūhu Ya`lamhu Allāhu ۗ Wa Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun ('āli `Imn: 29). 003.029 Say: "Whether ye hide what is in your hearts or reveal it, God knows it all: He knows what is in the heavens, and what is on earth. And God has power over all things. قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍خْ‍‍فُوا مَا‌ فِي صُ‍‍دُ‌و‌رِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ُ‍‌وهُ يَعْلَمْهُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۗ ‌وَيَعْلَمُ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
Yawma Tajidu Kullu Nafsin Mā `Amilat Min Khayrin Muĥđaan Wa Mā `Amilat Min Sū'in Tawaddu Law 'Anna Baynahā Wa Baynahu 'Amadāan Ba`īdāan ۗ Wa Yuĥadhdhirukumu Allāhu Nafsahu ۗ Wa Allāhu Ra'ūfun Bil-`Ibādi ('āli `Imn: 30). 003.030 "On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But God cautions you (To remember) Himself. And God is full of kindness to those that serve Him." يَ‍‍وْمَ تَجِدُ‌ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا‌ عَمِلَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٍ مُحْ‍‍ضَ‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَمَا‌ عَمِلَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌‌ٍ تَوَ‌دُّ‌ لَوْ أَنّ‌َ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ ‌أَمَد‌اً بَعِيد‌اً ۗ ‌وَيُحَذِّ‌رُكُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وف‌‍ٌ بِ‌الْعِبَا‌دِ
Qul 'In Kuntum Tuĥibbūna Allāha Fa Attabi`ūnī Yuĥbibkumu Allāhu Wa Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum ۗ Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun ('āli `Imn: 31). 003.031 Say: "If ye do love God, Follow me: God will love you and forgive you your sins: For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِ‍‍بْ‍‍كُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَيَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَكُمْ ‌ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Qul 'Aţī`ū Allaha Wa Ar-Rasūla ۖ Fa'in Tawallawā Fa'inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Kāfirīna ('āli `Imn: 32). 003.032 Say: "Obey God and His Apostle": But if they turn back, God loveth not those who reject Faith. قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ ۖ فَإِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّوْ‌ا‌ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
'Inna Allāha Aşţafá 'Ādama Wa Nūĥāan Wa 'Āla 'Ibhīma Wa 'Āla `Imn `Alá Al-`Ālamīna ('āli `Imn: 33). 003.033 God did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran above all people,- إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌ا‍‍صْ‍‍طَ‍‍فَ‍‍ى آ‌دَمَ ‌وَنُوحاً ‌وَ‌آلَ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌وَ‌آلَ عِم‍رَ‌ان عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Dhurrīyatan Ba`đuhā Min Ba`đin ۗ Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 34). 003.034 Offspring, one of the other: And God heareth and knoweth all things. ذُ‌رِّيَّةً بَعْ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍هَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْ‍‍ضٍ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَلِيمٌ
'Idh Qālati Amra'atu `Imrāna Rabbi 'Innī Nadhartu Laka Mā Fī Baţnī Muĥarraan Fataqabbal Minnī ۖ 'Innaka 'Anta As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu ('āli `Imn: 35). 003.035 Behold! a woman of 'Imran said: "O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service: So accept this of me: For Thou hearest and knowest all things." إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الَتِ ‌امْ‍رَ‌أَةُ عِمْ‍رَ‍‌انَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي نَذَ‌رْتُ لَكَ مَا‌ فِي بَ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍نِي مُحَ‍رَّ‌ر‌اً فَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍بَّلْ مِ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْعَلِيمُ
Falammā Wađa`at/hā Qālat Rabbi 'Innī Wađa`tuhā 'Unthá Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Wađa`at Wa Laysa Adh-Dhakaru Kāl'unthá ۖ Wa 'Innī Sammaytuhā Maryama Wa 'Innī 'U`īdhuhā Bika Wa Dhurrīyatahā Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi ('āli `Imn: 36). 003.036 When she was delivered, she said: "O my Lord! Behold! I am delivered of a female child!"- and God knew best what she brought forth- "And no wise is the male Like the female. I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected." فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا وَ‍‍ضَ‍‍عَتْهَا‌ قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌وَ‍ضَ‍‍عْتُهَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍ثَى وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَ‍ضَ‍‍عَتْ ‌وَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ ‌ال‍‍ذَّكَرُ‌ كَالأُ‌نْ‍‍ثَى‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي سَ‍‍مَّ‍‍يْتُهَا‌ مَرْيَمَ ‌وَ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أُعِيذُهَا‌ بِكَ ‌وَ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّتَهَا‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انِ ‌ال‍رَّجِيمِ
Fataqabbalahā Rabbuhā Biqabūlin Ĥasanin Wa 'Anbatahā Nabātāan Ĥasanāan Wa Kaffalahā Zakarīyā ۖ Kullamā Dakhala `Alayhā Zakarīyā Al-Miĥrāba Wajada `Indahā Rizqāan ۖ Qāla Yā Maryamu 'Anná Laki Hādhā ۖ Qālat Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi ۖ 'Inna Allāha Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin ('āli `Imn: 37). 003.037 Right graciously did her Lord accept her: He made her grow in purity and beauty: To the care of Zakariya was she assigned. Every time that he entered (Her) chamber to see her, He found her supplied with sustenance. He said: "O Mary! Whence (comes) this to you?" She said: "From God: for God Provides sustenance to whom He pleases without measure." فَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍بَّلَهَا ‍رَبُّهَا‌ بِ‍‍قَ‍‍ب‍‍ُ‍ولٍ حَسَنٍ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍بَتَهَا‌ نَبَاتاً‌ حَسَناً ‌وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَ‍‍رِيَّا‌ ۖ كُلَّمَا دَ‍خَ‍‍لَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَ‍‍رِيَّا‌ ‌الْمِحْ‍رَ‍‌ابَ ‌وَجَدَ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهَا‌ ‌رِ‌زْق‍‍اً ۖ قَ‍الَ يَا‌ مَرْيَمُ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ى‌ لَكِ هَذَ‌ا‌ ۖ قَ‍‍الَتْ هُوَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَرْ‌زُقُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حِسَابٍ
Hunālika Da`ā Zakarīyā Rabbahu ۖ Qāla Rabbi Hab Lī Min Ladunka Dhurrīyatan Ţayyibatan ۖ 'Innaka Samī`u Ad-Du`ā'i ('āli `Imn: 38). 003.038 There did Zakariya pray to his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant unto me from Thee a progeny that is pure: for Thou art He that heareth prayer! هُنَالِكَ ‌دَعَا زَكَ‍‍رِيَّا ‍‍‍رَبَّهُ ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ هَ‍‍ب‌ْ لِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُ‌نْ‍‍كَ ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّةً طَ‍‍يِّبَةً ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌ال‍‍دُّع‍‍َا‌ء‍ِ‍
Fanādat/hu Al-Malā'ikatu Wa Huwa Qā'imun Yuşallī Fī Al-Miĥrābi 'Anna Allāha Yubashshiruka Biyaĥyá Muşaddiqāan Bikalimatin Mina Allāhi Wa Sayyidāan Wa Ĥaşūan Wa Nabīy7an Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna ('āli `Imn: 39). 003.039 While he was standing in prayer in the chamber, the angels called unto him: "God doth give thee glad tidings of Yahya, witnessing the truth of a Word from God, and (be besides) noble, chaste, and a prophet,- of the (goodly) company of the righteous." فَنَا‌دَتْهُ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ ‌وَهُوَ قَ‍‍ائِمٌ يُ‍‍صَ‍‍لِّي فِي ‌الْمِحْ‍رَ‍‌ابِ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَى‌ مُ‍‍صَ‍‍دِّ‍‍ق‍‍اً بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَسَيِّد‌اً ‌وَحَ‍‍صُ‍‍و‌ر‌اً ‌وَنَبِيّاً مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Qāla Rabbi 'Anná Yakūnu Lī Ghulāmun Wa Qad Balaghaniya Al-Kibaru Wa Amra'atī `Āqirun ۖ Qāla Kadhālika Allāhu Yaf`alu Mā Yashā'u ('āli `Imn: 40). 003.040 He said: "O my Lord! How shall I have son, seeing I am very old, and my wife is barren?" "Thus," was the answer, "Doth God accomplish what He willeth." قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ى‌ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لِي غُ‍‍لاَمٌ ‌وَقَ‍‍دْ‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ‍‍نِيَ ‌الْكِبَرُ وَ‌امْ‍رَ‌أَتِي عَاقِ‍‍رٌ ۖ قَ‍الَ كَذَلِكَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ يَفْعَلُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍
Qāla Rabbi Aj`al Lī 'Āyatan ۖ Qāla 'Āyatuka 'Allā Tukallima An-Nāsa Thalāthata 'Ayyāmin 'Illā Ramzāan ۗ Wa Adhkur Rabbaka Kathīan Wa Sabbiĥ Bil-`Ashīyi Wa Al-'Ibkāri ('āli `Imn: 41). 003.041 He said: "O my Lord! Give me a Sign!" "Thy Sign," was the answer, "Shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signals. Then celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again, and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning." قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْ لِ‍‍ي ‌آيَةً ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌آيَتُكَ ‌أَلاَّ‌ تُكَلِّمَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ ثَلاَثَةَ ‌أَيّ‍‍َامٍ ‌إِلاَّ ‍رَمْز‌اً ۗ ‌وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرْ ‍رَبَّكَ كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَسَبِّحْ بِ‌الْعَشِيِّ ‌وَ‌الإِبْ‍‍كَا‌رِ
Wa 'Idh Qālati Al-Malā'ikatu Yā Maryamu 'Inna Allāha Aşţafāki Wa Ţahharaki Wa Aşţafāki `Alá Nisā'i Al-`Ālamīna ('āli `Imn: 42). 003.042 Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! God hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations. وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الَتِ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ يَا‌ مَرْيَمُ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌اصْ‍‍طَ‍‍ف‍‍َاكِ ‌وَطَ‍‍هَّ‍رَكِ ‌وَ‌اصْ‍‍طَ‍‍ف‍‍َاكِ عَلَى‌ نِس‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Yā Maryamu Aqnutī Lirabbiki Wa Asjudī Wa Arka`ī Ma`a Ar-ki`īna ('āli `Imn: 43). 003.043 "O Mary! worship Thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down." يَا‌ مَرْيَمُ ‌ا‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نُتِي لِ‍رَبِّكِ ‌وَ‌اسْجُدِي ‌وَ‌ا‌رْكَعِي مَعَ ‌ال‍رَّ‌اكِعِينَ
Dhālika Min 'Nbā'i Al-Ghaybi Nūĥīhi 'Ilayka ۚ Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh Yulqūna 'Aqlāmahum 'Ayyuhum Yakfulu Maryama Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh Yakhtaşimūna ('āli `Imn: 44). 003.044 This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Apostle!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point). ذَلِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أ‌نْ‍‍ب‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ نُوح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ لَدَيْهِمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ يُلْ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍لاَمَهُمْ ‌أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ لَدَيْهِمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَ‍‍صِ‍‍مُونَ
'Idh Qālati Al-Malā'ikatu Yā Maryamu 'Inna Allāha Yubashshiruki Bikalimatin Minhu Asmuhu Al-Masīĥu `Īsá Abnu Maryama Wajīhāan Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mina Al-Muqarrabīna ('āli `Imn: 45). 003.045 Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to God; إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الَتِ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ يَامَرْيَمُ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌اسْمُهُ ‌الْمَس‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍حُ عِيسَى‌ ‌ابْ‍‍نُ مَرْيَمَ ‌وَجِيهاً فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَمِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍قَ‍رَّبِينَ
Wa Yukallimu An-Nāsa Fī Al-Mahdi Wa Kahlāan Wa Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna ('āli `Imn: 46). 003.046 "He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous." وَيُكَلِّمُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ فِي ‌الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً ‌وَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Qālat Rabbi 'Anná Yakūnu Lī Waladun Wa Lam Yamsasnī Basharun ۖ Qāla Kadhāliki Allāhu Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u ۚ 'Idhā Qá 'Aman Fa'innamā Yaqūlu Lahu Kun Fayakūnu ('āli `Imn: 47). 003.047 She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is! قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ى‌ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لِي ‌وَلَدٌ ‌وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ ۖ قَ‍الَ كَذَلِكِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ قَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى أَمْر‌اً فَإِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ لَهُ كُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَيَكُونُ
Wa Yu`allimuhu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa At-Tawata Wa Al-'Injīla ('āli `Imn: 48). 003.048 "And God will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel, وَيُعَلِّمُهُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَ‌الْحِكْمَةَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌‍‍رَ‍‌اةَ ‌وَ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍جِيلَ
Wa Rasūlāan 'Ilá Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Annī Qad Ji'tukum Bi'āyatin Min Rabbikum ۖ 'Annī 'Akhluqu Lakum Mina Aţ-Ţīni Kahay'ati Aţ-Ţayri Fa'anfukhu Fīhi Fayakūnu Ţayan Bi'idhni Allāhi ۖ Wa 'Ubri'u Al-'Akmaha Wa Al-'Abraşa Wa 'Uĥyi Al-Mawtá Bi'idhni Allāhi ۖ Wa 'Unabbi'ukum Bimā Ta'kulūna Wa Mā Taddakhirūna Fī Buyūtikum ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Lakum 'In Kuntum Mu'uminyna ('āli `Imn: 49). 003.049 "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe; وَ‌‍‍‍رَسُولاً ‌إِلَى‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ۖ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ لَكُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍طِّ‍‍ي‍‍نِ كَهَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئَةِ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ فَأَ‌ن‍‍فُ‍‍خُ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ فَيَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ طَ‍‍يْر‌اً بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَ‌أُبْ‍‍رِئُ ‌الأَكْمَهَ ‌وَ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍رَصَ ‌وَ‌أُحْيِ ‌الْمَوْتَى‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَ‌أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا‌ تَأْكُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَمَا‌ تَدَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً‌ لَكُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ مُؤْمِ‍‍ن‍‍ينَ
Wa Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayya Mina At-Tawati Wa Li'uĥilla Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Ĥurrima `Alaykum ۚ Wa Ji'tukum Bi'āyatin Min Rabbikum Fa Attaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni ('āli `Imn: 50). 003.050 "'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear God, and obey me. وَمُ‍‍صَ‍‍دِّ‍‍ق‍‍اً لِمَا‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌رَ‍‌اةِ ‌وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْ‍‍ضَ ‌الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ ‌وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ فَاتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
'Inna Allāha Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu ۗdhā Şiţun Mustaqīmun ('āli `Imn: 51). 003.051 "'It is God Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.'" إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّي ‌وَ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُد‍ُ‍‌وهُ ۗ هَذَ‌ا‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اط‍ٌ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٌ
Falammā 'Aĥassa `Īsá Minhumu Al-Kufra Qāla Man 'Anşārī 'Ilá Allāhi ۖ Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Naĥnu 'Anşāru Allāhi 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Ash/had Bi'annā Muslimūna ('āli `Imn: 52). 003.052 When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) God?" Said the disciples: "We are God's helpers: We believe in God, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا أَحَسَّ عِيسَى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمُ ‌الْكُفْ‍‍‍رَقَ‍الَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِي ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌الْحَوَ‌ا‌رِيّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ نَحْنُ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍ا‌رُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌اشْهَ‍‍دْ‌ بِأَنَّ‍‍ا‌ مُسْلِمُونَ
Rabbanā 'Āmannā Bimā 'Anzalta Wa Attaba`nā Ar-Rasūla Fāktubnā Ma`a Ash-Shāhidīna ('āli `Imn: 53). 003.053 "Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Apostle; then write us down among those who bear witness." ‍‍‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِمَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلْتَ ‌وَ‌اتَّبَعْنَا‌ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ فَاكْتُ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ مَعَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاهِدِينَ
Wa Makarū Wa Makara Allāhu ۖ Wa Allāhu Khayru Al-Mākirīna ('āli `Imn: 54). 003.054 And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and God too planned, and the best of planners is God. وَمَكَرُ‌وا ‌وَمَكَ‍‍‍رَ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۖ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْمَاكِ‍‍رِينَ
'Idh Qāla Allāhu Yā `Īsá 'Innī Mutawaffīka Wa fi`uka 'Ilayya Wa Muţahhiruka Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Jā`ilu Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūka Fawqa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyā ۖ Mati Thumma 'Ilayya Marji`ukum Fa'aĥkumu Baynakum Fīmā Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna ('āli `Imn: 55). 003.055 Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ يَاعِيسَ‍‍ى إِنِّ‍‍ي مُتَوَفّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍كَ ‌وَ‌‍رَ‌افِعُكَ ‌إِلَيَّ ‌وَمُ‍‍طَ‍‍هِّرُكَ مِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌وَجَاعِلُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّبَع‍‍ُ‍وكَ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌إِلَى‌ يَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ۖ ‌إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ تَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَلِفُونَ
Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fa'u`adhdhibuhum `Adhābāan Shadīdāan Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Minşirīna ('āli `Imn: 56). 003.056 "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَ‌اباً شَدِيد‌اً فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَمَا‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَاصِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Fayuwaffīhim 'Ujūrahum ۗ Wa Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna ('āli `Imn: 57). 003.057 "As to those who believe and work righteousness, God will pay them (in full) their reward; but God loveth not those who do wrong." وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ ‌أُجُو‌‍رَهُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Dhālika Natlūhu `Alayka Mina Al-'Āyāti Wa Adh-Dhikri Al-Ĥakīmi ('āli `Imn: 58). 003.058 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." ذَلِكَ نَتْل‍‍ُ‍وهُ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ مِنَ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍ذِّكْ‍‍رِ ‌الْحَكِيمِ
'Inna Mathala `Īsá `Inda Allāhi Kamathali 'Ādama ۖ Khalaqahu Min Turābin Thumma Qāla Lahu Kun Fayakūnu ('āli `Imn: 59). 003.059 The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. إِنّ‌َ مَثَلَ عِيسَى‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كَمَثَلِ ‌آ‌دَمَ ۖ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍رَ‍‌ابٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ قَ‍الَ لَهُ كُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَيَكُونُ
Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Falā Takun Mina Al-Mumtarīna ('āli `Imn: 60). 003.060 The Truth (comes) from God alone; so be not of those who doubt. ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكَ فَلاَ‌ تَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِنَ ‌الْمُمْتَ‍‍رِينَ
Faman Ĥājjaka Fīhi Min Ba`di Mā Jā'aka Mina Al-`Ilmi Faqul Ta`ālawā Nad`u 'Abnā'anā Wa 'Abnā'akum Wa Nisā'anā Wa Nisā'akum Wa 'Anfusanā Wa 'Anfusakum Thumma Nabtahil Fanaj`al La`nata Allāhi `Alá Al-Kādhibīna ('āli `Imn: 61). 003.061 If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of God on those who lie!" فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ح‍‍َاجَّكَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَكَ مِنَ ‌الْعِلْمِ فَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍لْ تَعَالَوْ‌ا‌ نَ‍‍دْعُ ‌أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َا‌ءَنَا وَ‌أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ‌وَنِس‍‍َا‌ءَنَا وَنِس‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَنَا وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَكُمْ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ نَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَهِلْ فَنَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلْ لَعْنَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَى‌ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبِينَ
'Inna Hādhā Lahuwa Al-Qaşaşu Al-Ĥaqqu ۚ Wa Mā Min 'Ilahin 'Illā Al-Lahu ۚ Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu ('āli `Imn: 62). 003.062 This is the true account: There is no god except God; and God-He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise. إِنّ‌َ هَذَ‌ا‌ لَهُوَ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍صَ‍‍صُ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌إِلَهٍ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌الْحَكِيمُ
Fa'in Tawallawā Fa'inna Allāha `Alīmun Bil-Mufsidīna ('āli `Imn: 63). 003.063 But if they turn back, God hath full knowledge of those who do mischief. فَإِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّوْ‌ا‌ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِ‌الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Ta`ālawā 'Ilá Kalimatin Sawā'in Baynanā Wa Baynakum 'Allā Na`buda 'Illā Al-Laha Wa Lā Nushrika Bihi Shay'āan Wa Lā Yattakhidha Ba`đunā Ba`đāan 'Arbābāan Min Dūni Allāhi ۚ Fa'in Tawallawā Faqūlū Ash/hadū Bi'annā Muslimūna ('āli `Imn: 64). 003.064 Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than God." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to God's Will). قُ‍‍لْ يَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ تَعَالَوْ‌ا إِلَى‌ كَلِمَةٍ سَو‍َ‌اء‌ٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ ‌أَلاَّ‌ نَعْبُدَ إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَلاَ‌ نُشْ‍‍رِكَ بِهِ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَلاَ‌ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ‌ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍نَا‌ بَعْ‍‍ض‍‍اً أَ‌رْبَاباً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ فَإِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّوْ‌ا‌ فَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا ‌اشْهَدُ‌وا بِأَنَّ‍‍ا‌ مُسْلِمُونَ
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Tuĥājjūna Fī 'Ibhīma Wa Mā 'Unzilati At-Tawatu Wa Al-'Injīlu 'Illā Min Ba`dihi ۚ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna ('āli `Imn: 65). 003.065 Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding? يَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لِمَ تُح‍‍َاجّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِ‍‍ي ‌إِبْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَتِ ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌رَ‍‌اةُ ‌وَ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍ج‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Hā'antum Hā'uulā' Ĥājajtum Fīmā Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Falima Tuĥājjūna Fīmā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Allāhu ۚ Ya`lamu Wa 'Antum Lā Ta`lamūna ('āli `Imn: 66). 003.066 Ah! Ye are those who fell to disputing (Even) in matters of which ye had some knowledge! but why dispute ye in matters of which ye have no knowledge? It is God Who knows, and ye who know not! ه‍‍َا‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ حَاجَ‍‍جْ‍‍تُمْ فِيمَا‌ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلِمَ تُح‍‍َاجّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِيمَا‌ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
Mā Kāna 'Ibhīmu Yahūdīy7an Wa Lā Naşy7an Wa Lakin Kāna Ĥanīfāan Muslimāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna ('āli `Imn: 67). 003.067 Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to God's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with God. مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ يَهُو‌دِيّاً ‌وَلاَ‌ نَ‍‍صْ‍رَ‌انِيّاً ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ حَنِيفاً مُسْلِماً ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌الْمُشْ‍‍رِكِينَ
'Inna 'Awlá An-Nāsi Bi'ibhīma Lalladhīna Attaba`ūhu Wa Hadhā An-Nabīyu Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū ۗ Wa Allāhu Wa Līyu Al-Mu'uminīna ('āli `Imn: 68). 003.068 Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Apostle and those who believe: And God is the Protector of those who have faith. إِنّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ بِإِبْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ لَلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّبَع‍‍ُ‍وهُ ‌وَهَذَ‌ا‌ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيُّ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌وَلِيُّ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Waddat Ţā'ifatun Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Law Yuđillūnakum Wa Mā Yuđillūna 'Illā 'Anfusahum Wa Mā Yash`urūn ('āli `Imn: 69). 003.069 It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive! وَ‌دَّتْ طَ‍‍ائِفَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَهْلِ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لَوْ‌ يُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّونَكُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ يُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَهُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ يَشْعُرُ‌ون
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Takfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa 'Antum Tash/hadūna ('āli `Imn: 70). 003.070 Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of God, of which ye are (Yourselves) witnesses? يَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لِمَ تَكْفُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تَشْهَدُ‌ونَ
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Talbisūna Al-Ĥaqqa Bil-Bāţili Wa Taktumūna Al-Ĥaqqa Wa 'Antum Ta`lamūna ('āli `Imn: 71). 003.071 Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge? يَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لِمَ تَلْبِس‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قَّ بِ‌الْبَاطِ‍‍لِ ‌وَتَكْتُم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Qālat Ţā'ifatun Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi 'Āminū Bial-Ladhī 'Unzila `Alá Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wajha An-Nahāri Wa Akfurūkhirahu La`allahum Yarji`ūna ('āli `Imn: 72). 003.072 A section of the People of the Book say: "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) Turn back; وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الَتْ طَ‍‍ائِفَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَهْلِ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌آمِنُوا بِ‌الَّذِي ‌أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ عَلَى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَجْ‍‍هَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رِ ‌وَ‌اكْفُرُ‌وا ‌آ‍‍خِ‍رَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa Lā Tu'uminū 'Illā Liman Tabi`a Dīnakum Qul 'Inna Al-Hudá Hudá Allāhi 'An Yu'utá 'Aĥadun Mithla Mā 'Ūtītum 'Aw Yuĥājjūkum `Inda Rabbikum ۗ Qul 'Inna Al-Fađla Biyadi Allāhi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u ۗ Wa Allāhu Wāsi`un `Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 73). 003.073 "And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of God: (Fear ye) Lest a revelation be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of God: He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And God careth for all, and He knoweth all things." وَلاَ‌ تُؤْمِنُ‍‍وا ‌إِلاَّ‌ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَبِعَ ‌دِينَكُمْ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى‌ هُدَ‌ى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُؤْتَ‍‍ى أَحَدٌ مِثْلَ مَ‍‍ا أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيتُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يُح‍‍َاجُّوكُمْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّكُمْ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الْفَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لَ بِيَدِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ يُؤْت‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌وَ‌اسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
Yakhtaşşu Biraĥmatihi Man Yashā'u ۗ Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi ('āli `Imn: 74). 003.074 For His Mercy He specially chooseth whom He pleaseth; for God is the Lord of bounties unbounded. يَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَ‍‍صُّ بِ‍رَحْمَتِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌ذُ‌و‌ ‌الْفَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِ ‌الْعَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمِ
Wa Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Man 'In Ta'manhu Biqinţārin Yu'uaddihi 'Ilayka Wa Minhum Man 'In Ta'manhu Bidīnārin Lā Yu'uaddihi 'Ilayka 'Illā Mā Dumta `Alayhi Qā'imāan ۗ Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Laysa `Alaynā Fī Al-'Ummīyīna Sabīlun Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna ('āli `Imn: 75). 003.075 Among the People of the Book are some who, if entrusted with a hoard of gold, will (readily) pay it back; others, who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless thou constantly stoodest demanding, because, they say, "there is no call on us (to keep faith) with these ignorant (Pagans)." but they tell a lie against God, and (well) they know it. وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَهْلِ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَأْمَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ بِ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍‌‍ن‍‍طَ‍ا‌ر‌ٍ يُؤَ‌دِّهِ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَأْمَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ بِدِين‍‍َا‌ر‌ٍ لاَ‌ يُؤَ‌دِّهِ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا دُمْتَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ قَ‍‍ائِماً ۗ ‌ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍‍الُوا لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْنَا‌ فِي ‌الأُمِّ‍‍يّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْكَذِبَ ‌وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Balá Man 'Awfá Bi`ahdihi Wa Attaqá Fa'inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muttaqīna ('āli `Imn: 76). 003.076 Nay.- Those that keep their plighted faith and act aright,-verily God loves those who act aright. بَلَى‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌وْفَى‌ بِعَهْدِهِ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yashtarūna Bi`ahdi Allāhi Wa 'Aymānihim Thamanāan Qalīlāan 'Ūlā'ika Lā Khalāqa Lahum Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lā Yukallimuhumu Allāhu Wa Lā Yanžuru 'Ilayhim Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wa Lā Yuzakkīhim Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 77). 003.077 As for those who sell the faith they owe to God and their own plighted word for a small price, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter: Nor will God (Deign to) speak to them or look at them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He cleans them (of sin): They shall have a grievous penalty. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَشْتَر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِعَهْدِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌أَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَناً قَ‍‍لِيلاً أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لاَ خَ‍‍لاَقَ لَهُمْ فِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍رُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُزَكِّيهِمْ ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَلِيمٌ
Wa 'Inna Minhum Lafarīqāan Yalwūna 'Alsinatahum Bil-Kitābi Litaĥsabūhu Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Mā Huwa Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Yaqūlūna Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Mā Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna ('āli `Imn: 78). 003.078 There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from God," but it is not from God: It is they who tell a lie against God, and (well) they know it! وَ‌إِنّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لَفَ‍‍رِي‍‍‍‍ق‍‍اً يَلْو‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لِتَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍وهُ مِنَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌وَمَا‌ هُوَ‌ مِنَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ هُوَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَا‌ هُوَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْكَذِبَ ‌وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Mā Kāna Libasharin 'An Yu'utiyahu Allāhu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥukma Wa An-Nubūwata Thumma Yaqūla Lilnnāsi Kūnū `Ibādāan Lī Min Dūni Allāhi Wa Lakin Kūnū Rabbānīyīna Bimā Kuntum Tu`allimūna Al-Kitāba Wa Bimā Kuntum Tadrusūna ('āli `Imn: 79). 003.079 It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than God's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly." مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَ‌ن‌ْ يُؤْتِيَهُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَ‌الْحُكْمَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نُّ‍‍بُوَّةَ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ كُونُوا عِبَا‌د‌اً لِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُونُوا ‌‍رَبَّانِيّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تُعَلِّم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَبِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَ‍‍دْ‌رُسُونَ
Wa Lā Ya'murakum 'An Tattakhidhū Al-Malā'ikata Wa An-Nabīyīna 'Arbābāan ۗ 'Aya'murukum Bil-Kufri Ba`da 'Idh 'Antum Muslimūna ('āli `Imn: 80). 003.080 Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To God in Islam)? وَلاَ‌ يَأْمُ‍‍‍رَكُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذُ‌وا ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‌رْبَاباً‌ ۗ ‌أَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِ‌الْكُفْ‍‍رِ بَعْدَ إِ‌ذْ أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
Wa 'Idh 'Akhadha Allāhu Mīthāqa An-Nabīyīna Lamā 'Ātaytukum Min Kitābin Wa Ĥikmatin Thumma Jā'akum Rasūlun Muşaddiqun Limā Ma`akum Latu'uminunna Bihi Wa Latanşurunnahu ۚ Qāla 'A'aqrartum Wa 'Akhadhtum `Alá Dhalikum 'Işrī ۖ Qālū 'Aqrarnā ۚ Qāla Fāsh/hadū Wa 'Anā Ma`akum Mina Ash-Shāhidīna ('āli `Imn: 81). 003.081 Behold! God took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you an apostle, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." God said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." وَ‌إِ‌ذْ أَ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِيث‍‍َاقَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمَ‍‍ا آتَيْتُكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كِت‍‍َابٍ ‌وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ج‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ مُ‍‍صَ‍‍دِّ‍‍ق‍ ٌ لِمَا‌ مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُ‍‍نّ‌َ بِهِ ‌وَلَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍رُنَّ‍‍هُ ۚ قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌رْتُمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ ‌إِصْ‍‍رِي ۖ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌رْنَا‌ ۚ قَ‍الَ فَاشْهَدُ‌وا ‌وَ‌أَنَا‌ مَعَكُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاهِدِينَ
Faman Tawallá Ba`da Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna ('āli `Imn: 82). 003.082 If any turn back after this, they are perverted transgressors. فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَوَلَّى‌ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Afaghayra Dīni Allāhi Yabghūna Wa Lahu 'Aslama Man As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Ţaw`āan Wa Karhāan Wa 'Ilayhi Yurja`ūna ('āli `Imn: 83). 003.083 Do they seek for other than the Religion of God?-while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back. أَفَ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍ونَ ‌وَلَهُ ‌أَسْلَمَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ طَ‍‍وْعاً ‌وَكَرْهاً ‌وَ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ يُرْجَعُونَ
Qul 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Mā 'Unzila `Alaynā Wa Mā 'Unzila `Alá 'Ibhīma Wa 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba Wa Al-'Asbāţi Wa Mā 'Ūtiya Mūsá Wa `Īsá Wa An-Nabīyūna Min Rabbihim Lā Nufarriqu Bayna 'Aĥadin Minhum Wa Naĥnu Lahu Muslimūna ('āli `Imn: 84). 003.084 Say: "We believe in God, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)." قُ‍‍لْ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ عَلَ‍‍ى إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌وَ‌إِسْمَاع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌إِسْح‍‍َاقَ ‌وَيَعْ‍‍قُ‍‍وبَ ‌وَ‌الأَسْب‍‍َاطِ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍بِيّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ لاَ‌ نُفَرِّ‍‍قُ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌أَحَد‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
Wa Man Yabtaghi Ghayra Al-'Islāmi Dīnāan Falan Yuqbala Minhu Wa Huwa Fī Al-'Ākhirati Mina Al-Khāsirīna ('āli `Imn: 85). 003.085 If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to God), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good). وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍‍‍غِ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌الإِسْلاَمِ ‌دِيناً فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَلَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌وَهُوَ‌ فِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِ‍‍رِينَ
Kayfa Yahdī Al-Lahu Qawmāan Kafarū Ba`da 'Īmānihim Wa Shahidū 'Anna Ar-Rasūla Ĥaqqun Wa Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu ۚ Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna ('āli `Imn: 86). 003.086 How shall God Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Apostle was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but God guides not a people unjust. كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ يَهْدِي ‌اللَّهُ قَ‍‍وْماً كَفَرُ‌وا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ‌وَشَهِدُ‌وا ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ حَ‍‍قٌّ ‌وَج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْبَيِّن‍‍َاتُ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ لاَ‌ يَهْدِي ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
'Ūlā'ika Jazā'uuhum 'Anna `Alayhim La`nata Allāhi Wa Al-Malā'ikati Wa An-Nāsi 'Ajma`īna ('āli `Imn: 87). 003.087 Of such the reward is that on them (rests) the curse of God, of His angels, and of all mankind;- أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ جَز‍َ‌اؤُهُمْ ‌أَنّ‌َ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Khālidīna Fīhā Lā Yukhaffafu `Anhumu Al-`Adhābu Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna ('āli `Imn: 88). 003.088 In that will they dwell; nor will their penalty be lightened, nor respite be (their lot);- خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍خَ‍‍فَّفُ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ ‌وَلاَ‌ هُمْ يُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍ظَ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa 'Aşlaĥū Fa'inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun ('āli `Imn: 89). 003.089 Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. إِلاَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَابُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍لَحُوا فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ba`da 'Īmānihim Thumma Azdādū Kufan Lan Tuqbala Tawbatuhum Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Ađ-Đāllūna ('āli `Imn: 90). 003.090 But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith,- never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌ا‌زْ‌دَ‌ا‌دُ‌وا كُفْر‌اً لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَلَ تَوْبَتُهُمْ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍الُّونَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Mātū Wa Hum Kuffārun Falan Yuqbala Min 'Aĥadihim Mil'u Al-'Arđi Dhahabāan Wa Law Aftadá Bihi ۗ 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Wa Mā Lahum Minşirīna ('āli `Imn: 91). 003.091 As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌وَمَاتُوا ‌وَهُمْ كُفّ‍‍َا‌رٌ فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَلَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَحَدِهِمْ مِلْءُ‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌ذَهَباً ‌وَلَوْ‌ ‌افْتَدَ‌ى‌ بِهِ ۗ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ ‌وَمَا‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَاصِ‍‍رِينَ
Lan Tanālū Al-Birra Ĥattá Tunfiqū Mimmā Tuĥibbūna ۚ Wa Mā Tunfiqū Min Shay'in Fa'inna Allāha Bihi `Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 92). 003.092 By no means shall ye attain righteousness unless ye give (freely) of that which ye love; and whatever ye give, of a truth God knoweth it well. لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَنَالُوا ‌الْبِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍َ‌ حَتَّى‌ تُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ تُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ
Kullu Aţ-Ţa`āmi Kāna Ĥillāan Libanī 'Isrā'īla 'Illā Mā Ĥarrama 'Isrā'īlu `Alá Nafsihi Min Qabli 'An Tunazzala At-Tawatu ۗ Qul Fa'tū Bit-Tawati Fātlūhā 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna ('āli `Imn: 93). 003.093 All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth." كُلُّ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍طَّ‍‍ع‍‍َامِ ك‍‍َانَ حِلّاً لِبَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ حَ‍رَّمَ ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ عَلَى‌ نَفْسِهِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تُنَزَّلَ ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌رَ‍‌اةُ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ فَأْتُوا بِ‌ال‍‍تَّوْ‌رَ‍‌اةِ فَاتْلُوهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Famani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Min Ba`di Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūna ('āli `Imn: 94). 003.094 If any, after this, invent a lie and attribute it to God, they are indeed unjust wrong-doers. فَمَنِ ‌افْتَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الكَذِبَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمُونَ
Qul Şadaqa Allāhu Fa ۗ Attabi`ū Millata 'Ibhīma Ĥanīfāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna ('āli `Imn: 95). 003.095 Say: "God speaketh the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the Pagans." قُ‍‍لْ صَ‍‍دَقَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۗ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ حَنِيفاً ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌الْمُشْ‍‍رِكِينَ
'Inna 'Awwala Baytin Wuđi`a Lilnnāsi Lalladhī Bibakkata Mubārakāan Wa Hudan Lil`ālamīna ('āli `Imn: 96). 003.096 The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: إِنّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وَّلَ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍تٍ ‌وُ‍‍ضِ‍‍عَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَا‌‍رَكاً ‌وَهُ‍‍د‌ىً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Fīhi 'Āyātun Bayyinātun Maqāmu 'Ibhīma ۖ Wa Man Dakhalahu Kāna 'Āmināan ۗ Wa Lillāh `Alá An-Nāsi Ĥijju Al-Bayti Mani Astaţā`a 'Ilayhi Sabīlāan ۚ Wa Man Kafara Fa'inna Allāha Ghanīyun `Ani Al-`Ālamīna ('āli `Imn: 97). 003.097 In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, God stands not in need of any of His creatures. ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌آي‍‍َات‌‍ٌ بَيِّن‍‍َاتٌ مَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍امُ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دَ‍خَ‍‍لَهُ ك‍‍َانَ ‌آمِناً ۗ ‌وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ حِجُّ ‌الْبَ‍‍يْ‍‍تِ مَنِ ‌اسْتَ‍‍طَ‍اعَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ سَبِيلاً ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَفَ‍رَ‌ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍نِيٌّ عَنِ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Takfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Allāhu Shahīdun `Alá Mā Ta`malūna ('āli `Imn: 98). 003.098 Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of God, when God is Himself witness to all ye do?" قُ‍‍لْ يَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لِمَ تَكْفُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ شَه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍دٌ‌ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Taşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Man 'Āmana Tabghūnahā `Iwajāan Wa 'Antum Shuhadā'u ۗ Wa Mā Al-Lahu Bighāfilin `Ammā Ta`malūna ('āli `Imn: 99). 003.099 Say: "O ye People of the Book! Why obstruct ye those who believe, from the path of God, Seeking to make it crooked, while ye were yourselves witnesses (to God's Covenant)? but God is not unmindful of all that ye do." قُ‍‍لْ يَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لِمَ تَ‍‍صُ‍‍دّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آمَنَ تَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍ونَهَا‌ عِوَجاً ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ شُهَد‍َ‌اءُ‌ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍افِلٍ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tuţī`ū Farīqāan Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Yaruddūkum Ba`da 'Īmānikum Kāfirīna ('āli `Imn: 100). 003.100 O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed! يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُ‍‍وا ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍يعُوا فَ‍‍رِي‍‍ق‍‍اً مِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ يَرُ‌دُّ‌وكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Kayfa Takfurūna Wa 'Antum Tutlá `Alaykum 'Āyātu Allāhi Wa Fīkum Rasūluhu ۗ Wa Man Ya`taşim Billāhi Faqad Hudiya 'Ilá Şiţin Mustaqīmin ('āli `Imn: 101). 003.101 And how would ye deny Faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of God, and among you Lives the Apostle? Whoever holds firmly to God will be shown a way that is straight. وَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ تَكْفُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تُتْلَى‌ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌آي‍‍َاتُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَفِيكُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَسُولُهُ ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَعْتَ‍‍صِ‍‍مْ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ هُدِيَ ‌إِلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطٍ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٍ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Attaqū Allaha Ĥaqqa Tuqātihi Wa Lā Tamūtunna 'Illā Wa 'Antum Muslimūna ('āli `Imn: 102). 003.102 O ye who believe! Fear God as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ حَ‍‍قَّ تُ‍‍قَ‍‍اتِهِ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَمُوتُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِلاَّ وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
Wa A`taşimū Biĥabli Allāhi Jamī`āan Wa Lā Tafarraqū ۚ Wa Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum 'Idh Kuntum 'A`dā'an Fa'allafa Bayna Qulūbikum Fa'aşbaĥtum Bini`matihi 'Ikhwānāan Wa Kuntum `Alá Shafā Ĥufratin Mina An-Nāri Fa'anqadhakum Minhā ۗ Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'Āyātihi La`allakum Tahtadūna ('āli `Imn: 103). 003.103 And hold fast, all together, by the rope which God (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude God's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth God make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided. وَ‌اعْتَ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍مُوا بِحَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ جَمِيعاً ‌وَلاَ‌ تَفَ‍رَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ۚ ‌وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرُ‌وا نِعْمَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أَعْد‍َ‌اءً فَأَلَّفَ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ قُ‍‍لُوبِكُمْ فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ ‌إِخْ‍‍وَ‌اناً ‌وَكُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ عَلَى‌ شَفَا‌ حُفْ‍رَةٍ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ فَأَ‌نْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ذَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۗ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ‌آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Ltakun Minkum 'Ummatun Yad`ūna 'Ilá Al-Khayri Wa Ya'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna ('āli `Imn: 104). 003.104 Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. وَلْتَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٌ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ ‌وَيَأْمُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌الْمَعْر‍ُ‍‌وفِ ‌وَيَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَ‍‍وْنَ عَنِ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ‍‍رِ ۚ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Tafarraqū Wa Akhtalafū Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun ('āli `Imn: 105). 003.105 Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,- وَلاَ‌ تَكُونُوا كَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَفَ‍‍‍رَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌وَ‌اخْ‍‍تَلَفُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْبَيِّن‍‍َاتُ ۚ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Yawma Tabyađđu Wujūhun Wa Taswaddu Wujūhun ۚ Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Aswaddat Wujūhuhum 'Akafartum Ba`da 'Īmānikum Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Takfurūna ('āli `Imn: 106). 003.106 On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith." يَ‍‍وْمَ تَ‍‍بْ‍‍يَ‍‍‍‍ضُّ ‌وُج‍‍ُ‍وهٌ ‌وَتَسْوَ‌دُّ وُج‍‍ُ‍وهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْوَ‌دَّتْ ‌وُجُوهُهُمْ ‌أَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ فَذُ‌وقُ‍‍وا ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ بِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَكْفُرُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna Abyađđat Wujūhuhum Fafī Raĥmati Allāhi Hum Fīhā Khālidūna ('āli `Imn: 107). 003.107 But those whose faces will be (lit with) white,- they will be in (the light of) God's mercy: therein to dwell (for ever). وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌ابْ‍‍يَ‍‍‍‍ضَّ‍‍تْ ‌وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِي ‌‍رَحْمَةِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ هُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Tilka 'Āyātu Allāhi Natlūhā `Alayka Bil-Ĥaqqi ۗ Wa Mā Al-Lahu Yurīdu Žulmāan Lil`ālamīna ('āli `Imn: 108). 003.108 These are the Signs of God: We rehearse them to thee in Truth: And God means no injustice to any of His creatures. تِلْكَ ‌آي‍‍َاتُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ نَتْلُوهَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قِّ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ظُ‍‍لْماً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Lillāh Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Turja`u Al-'Umūru ('āli `Imn: 109). 003.109 To God belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: To Him do all questions go back (for decision). وَلِلَّهِ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ تُرْجَعُ ‌الأُمُو‌رُ
Kuntum Khayra 'Ummatin 'Ukhrijat Lilnnāsi Ta'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Tanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Tu'uminūna Billāhi ۗ Wa Law 'Āmana 'Ahlu Al-Kitābi Lakāna Khayan Lahum ۚ Minhumu Al-Mu'uminūna Wa 'Aktharuhumu Al-Fāsiqūna ('āli `Imn: 110). 003.110 Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in God. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ خَ‍‍يْ‍رَ أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ ‌أُخْ‍‍رِجَتْ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ تَأْمُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌الْمَعْر‍ُ‍‌وفِ ‌وَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَ‍‍وْنَ عَنِ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍كَ‍‍رِ ‌وَتُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَلَوْ آمَنَ ‌أَهْلُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لَك‍‍َانَ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً لَهُمْ ۚ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمُ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَ‌أَكْثَرُهُمُ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Lan Yađurrūkum 'Illā 'Adhan ۖ Wa 'In Yuqātilūkum Yuwallūkumu Al-'Adbāra Thumma Lā Yunşarūna ('āli `Imn: 111). 003.111 They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs, and no help shall they get. لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّ‌وكُمْ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ذ‌ىً ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يُ‍‍قَ‍‍اتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ ‌الأَ‌دْب‍‍َا‌‍رَ‌ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لاَ‌ يُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Đuribat `Alayhimu Adh-Dhillatu 'Ayna Mā Thuqifū 'Illā Biĥablin Mina Allāhi Wa Ĥablin Mina An-Nāsi Wa Bā'ū Bighađabin Mina Allāhi Wa Đuribat `Alayhimu Al-Maskanatu ۚ Dhālika Bi'annahum Kānū Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Yaqtulūna Al-'Anbiyā'a Bighayri Ĥaqqin ۚ Dhālika Bimā `Aşawā Wa Kānū Ya`tadūna ('āli `Imn: 112). 003.112 Shame is pitched over them (Like a tent) wherever they are found, except when under a covenant (of protection) from God and from men; they draw on themselves wrath from God, and pitched over them is (the tent of) destitution. This because they rejected the Signs of God, and slew the prophets in defiance of right; this because they rebelled and transgressed beyond bounds. ضُ‍‍رِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌ال‍‍ذِّلَّةُ ‌أَيْ‍‍نَ مَا‌ ثُ‍‍قِ‍‍فُ‍‍وا ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِحَ‍‍بْ‍‍لٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَحَ‍‍بْ‍‍لٍ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَب‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍ضَ‍‍بٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‍ضُ‍‍رِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْمَسْكَنَةُ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الأَن‍‍بِي‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حَ‍‍قّ‌ٍ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ بِمَا‌ عَ‍‍صَ‍‍وْ‌ا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُ‌ونَ
Laysū Sawā'an ۗ Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi 'Ummatun Qā'imatun Yatlūna 'Āyāti Allāhi 'Ānā'a Al-Layli Wa Hum Yasjudūna ('āli `Imn: 113). 003.113 Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of God all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration. لَيْسُوا سَو‍َ‌اءً ۗ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَهْلِ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةٌ قَ‍‍ائِمَةٌ يَتْل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌آي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌آن‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ‌وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُ‌ونَ
Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi Al-'Ākhiri Wa Ya'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Khayrāti Wa 'Ūlā'ika Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna ('āli `Imn: 114). 003.114 They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous. يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍رِ وَيَأْمُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌الْمَعْر‍ُ‍‌وفِ ‌وَيَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَ‍‍وْنَ عَنِ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ‍‍رِ ‌وَيُسَا‌رِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Mā Yaf`alū Min Khayrin Falan Yukfarūhu ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bil-Muttaqīna ('āli `Imn: 115). 003.115 Of the good that they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for God knoweth well those that do right. وَمَا‌ يَفْعَلُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٍ فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُكْفَر‍ُ‍‌وهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِ‌الْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri ۚ Hum Fīhā Khālidūna ('āli `Imn: 116). 003.116 Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against God: They will be companions of the Fire,-dwelling therein (for ever). إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍نِيَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌أَمْوَ‌الُهُمْ ‌وَلاَ أَ‌وْلاَ‌دُهُمْ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۖ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ ۚ هُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Mathalu Mā Yunfiqūna Fī Hadhihi Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Kamathali Rīĥin Fīhā Şirrun 'Aşābat Ĥartha Qawmin Žalamū 'Anfusahum Fa'ahlakat/hu ۚ Wa Mā Žalamahumu Allāhu Wa Lakin 'Anfusahum Yažlimūna ('āli `Imn: 117). 003.117 What they spend in the life of this (material) world May be likened to a wind which brings a nipping frost: It strikes and destroys the harvest of men who have wronged their own souls: it is not God that hath wronged them, but they wrong themselves. مَثَلُ مَا‌ يُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ فِي هَذِهِ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ كَمَثَلِ ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍حٍ فِيهَا‌ صِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍ٌ أَ‍صَ‍‍ابَتْ حَرْثَ قَ‍‍وْمٍ ظَ‍‍لَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ ظَ‍‍لَمَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَهُمْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattakhidhū Biţānatan Min Dūnikum Lā Ya'lūnakum Khabālāan Waddū Mā `Anittum Qad Badati Al-Baghđā'u Min 'Afwāhihim Wa Mā TukhŞudūruhum 'Akbaru ۚ Qad Bayyannā Lakumu Al-'Āyāti ۖ 'In Kuntum Ta`qilūna ('āli `Imn: 118). 003.118 O ye who believe! Take not into your intimacy those outside your ranks: They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin: Rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths: What their hearts conceal is far worse. We have made plain to you the Signs, if ye have wisdom. يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لاَ‌ تَتَّ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍ذُ‌وا بِ‍‍طَ‍‍انَةً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِكُمْ لاَ‌ يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَ‍‍بَالاً ‌وَ‌دُّ‌وا مَا‌ عَنِتُّمْ قَ‍‍دْ‌ بَدَتِ ‌الْبَ‍‍غْ‍‍ضَ‍‍ا‌ءُ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَفْوَ‌اهِهِمْ ‌وَمَا‌ تُ‍‍خْ‍‍فِي صُ‍‍دُ‌و‌رُهُمْ ‌أَكْبَرُ‌ ۚ قَ‍‍دْ‌ بَيَّ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Hā'antum 'Ūlā'i Tuĥibbūnahum Wa Lā Yuĥibbūnakum Wa Tu'uminūna Bil-Kitābi Kullihi Wa 'Idhā Laqūkum Qālū 'Āmannā Wa 'Idhā Khalawā `Ađđū `Alaykumu Al-'Anāmila Mina Al-Ghay&2i Qul ۚ Mūtū Bighayžikum 'Inna ۗ Allāha `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri ('āli `Imn: 119). 003.119 Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Perish in you rage; God knoweth well all the secrets of the heart." ه‍‍َا‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلاَ‌ءِ‌ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُحِبُّونَكُمْ ‌وَتُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ كُلِّهِ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ لَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وكُمْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ خَ‍‍لَوْ‌ا‌ عَ‍‍ضُّ‍‍وا عَلَيْكُمُ ‌الأَنَامِلَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ظِ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ مُوتُوا بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ظِ‍‍كُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِذ‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍صُّ‍‍دُ‌و‌رِ
'In Tamsaskum Ĥasanatun Tasu'uhum Wa 'In Tuşibkum Sayyi'atun Yafraĥū Bihā ۖ Wa 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Lā Yađurrukum Kayduhum Shay'āan ۗ 'Inna Allāha Bimā Ya`malūna Muĥīţun ('āli `Imn: 120). 003.120 If aught that is good befalls you, it grieves them; but if some misfortune overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if ye are constant and do right, not the least harm will their cunning do to you; for God Compasseth round about all that they do. إِ‌ن‌ْ تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍بْ‍‍كُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْ‍رَحُوا بِهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍صْ‍‍بِرُ‌وا ‌وَتَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا لاَ‌ يَ‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ بِمَا‌ يَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ مُحِي‍‍طٌ
Wa 'Idh Ghadawta Min 'Ahlika Tubawwi'u Al-Mu'uminīna Maqā`ida Lilqitāli ۗ Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 121). 003.121 Remember that morning Thou didst leave Thy household (early) to post the faithful at their stations for battle: And God heareth and knoweth all things: وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ غَ‍‍دَ‌وْتَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مَ‍‍قَ‍‍اعِدَ‌ لِلْ‍‍قِ‍‍ت‍‍َالِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَلِيمٌ
'Idh Hammat Ţā'ifatāni Minkum 'An Tafshalā Wa Allāhu Walīyuhumā ۗ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna ('āli `Imn: 122). 003.122 Remember two of your parties Meditated cowardice; but God was their protector, and in God should the faithful (Ever) put their trust. إِ‌ذْ‌ هَ‍‍مَّ‍‍تْ طَ‍‍ائِفَت‍‍َانِ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَفْشَلاَ وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌وَلِيُّهُمَا‌ ۗ ‌وَعَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ‌الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Laqad Naşarakumu Allāhu Bibadrin Wa 'Antum 'Adhillatun Fa ۖ Attaqū Allaha La`allakum Tashkurūna ('āli `Imn: 123). 003.123 God had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear God; thus May ye show your gratitude. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ نَ‍‍صَ‍رَكُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ بِبَ‍‍دْ‌ر‌ٍ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‌ذِلَّةٌ ۖ فَاتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُ‌ونَ
'Idh Taqūlu Lilmu'uminīna 'Alan Yakfiyakum 'An Yumiddakum Rabbukum Bithalāthati 'Ālāfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Munzalīna ('āli `Imn: 124). 003.124 Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that God should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down? إِ‌ذْ‌ تَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ لِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُمِدَّكُمْ ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلاَثَةِ ‌آلاَفٍ مِنَ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةِ مُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍زَلِينَ
Balá ۚ 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Wa Ya'tūkum Min Fawrihimdhā Yumdidkum Rabbukum Bikhamsati 'Ālāfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Musawwimīna ('āli `Imn: 125). 003.125 "Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught. بَلَ‍‍ىۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍بِرُ‌وا ‌وَتَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَوْ‌رِهِمْ هَذَ‌ا‌ يُمْدِ‌دْكُمْ ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ بِ‍‍خَ‍‍مْسَةِ ‌آلاَفٍ مِنَ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ
Wa Mā Ja`alahu Allāhu 'Illā Bushrá Lakum Wa Litaţma'inna Qulūbukum Bihi ۗ Wa Mā An-Naşru 'Illā Min `Indi Allāhi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥakīmi ('āli `Imn: 126). 003.126 God made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from God. The Exalted, the Wise: وَمَا‌ جَعَلَهُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بُشْ‍‍‍رَ‌ى‌ لَكُمْ ‌وَلِتَ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍مَئِ‍‍نّ‌َ قُ‍‍لُوبُكُمْ بِهِ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍رُ إِلاَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زِ‌ ‌الْحَكِيمِ
Liyaqţa`a Ţarafāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Aw Yakbitahum Fayanqalibū Khā'ibīna ('āli `Imn: 127). 003.127 That He might cut off a fringe of the Unbelievers or expose them to infamy, and they should then be turned back, frustrated of their purpose. لِيَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍عَ طَ‍رَفاً مِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لِبُوا خَ‍‍ائِبِينَ
Laysa Laka Mina Al-'Amri Shay'un 'Aw Yatūba `Alayhim 'Aw Yu`adhdhibahum Fa'innahum Žālimūna ('āli `Imn: 128). 003.128 Not for thee, (but for God), is the decision: Whether He turn in mercy to them, or punish them; for they are indeed wrong-doers. لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لَكَ مِنَ ‌الأَمْ‍‍رِ شَ‍‍يْءٌ أَ‌وْ‌ يَت‍‍ُ‍وبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّ‍‍هُمْ ظَ‍‍الِمُونَ
Wa Lillāh Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Yaghfiru Liman Yashā'u Wa Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā'u ۚ Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun ('āli `Imn: 129). 003.129 To God belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth. He forgiveth whom He pleaseth and punisheth whom He pleaseth; but God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. وَلِلَّهِ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۚ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رُلِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Ta'kulū Ar-Ribā 'Ađ`āfāan Muđā`afatan ۖ Wa Attaqū Allaha La`allakum Tufliĥūna ('āli `Imn: 130). 003.130 O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear God; that ye may (really) prosper. يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لاَ‌ تَأْكُلُوا ‌ال‍‍رِّبَ‍‍ا أَ‍‍ضْ‍‍عَافاً مُ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَفَةً ۖ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Attaqū An-Nāra Allatī 'U`iddat Lilkāfirīna ('āli `Imn: 131). 003.131 Fear the Fire, which is repaired for those who reject Faith: وَ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌‍رَ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Aţī`ū Allaha Wa Ar-Rasūla La`allakum Turĥamūna ('āli `Imn: 132). 003.132 And obey God and the Apostle; that ye may obtain mercy. وَ‌أَ‍‍طِ‍‍يعُوا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Wa Sāri`ū 'Ilá Maghfiratin Min Rabbikum Wa Jannatin `Arđuhā As-Samāwātu Wa Al-'Arđu 'U`iddat Lilmuttaqīna ('āli `Imn: 133). 003.133 Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- وَسَا‌رِعُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ مَ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ‌وَجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةٍ عَرْضُ‍‍هَا‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتُ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضُ ‌أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Al-Ladhīna Yunfiqūna Fī As-Sarrā'i Wa Ađ-Đarrā'i Wa Al-Kāžimīna Al-Ghay&2a Wa Al-`Āfīna `Ani An-Nāsi ۗ Wa Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna ('āli `Imn: 134). 003.134 Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for God loves those who do good;- ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّرّ‍َ‌اءِ وَ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍رّ‍َ‌اءِ وَ‌الْكَاظِ‍‍م‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ظَ ‌وَ‌الْعَاف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَنِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Fa`alū Fāĥishatan 'Aw Žalamū 'Anfusahum Dhakarū Allaha Fāstaghfarū Lidhunūbihim Wa Man Yaghfiru Adh-Dhunūba 'Illā Al-Lahu Wa Lam Yuşirrū `Alá Mā Fa`alū Wa Hum Ya`lamūna ('āli `Imn: 135). 003.135 And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring God to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except God?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً ‌أَ‌وْ‌ ظَ‍‍لَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَهُمْ ‌ذَكَرُ‌وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ فَاسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فَرُ‌وا لِذُنُوبِهِمْ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رُ‌ال‍‍ذُّن‍‍ُ‍وبَ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَلَمْ يُ‍‍صِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍ُ‌وا عَلَى‌ مَا‌ فَعَلُوا ‌وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
'Ūlā'ika Jazā'uuhum Maghfiratun Min Rabbihim Wa Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā ۚ Wa Ni`ma 'Ajru Al-`Āmilīna ('āli `Imn: 136). 003.136 For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)! أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ جَز‍َ‌اؤُهُمْ مَ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَجَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَنِعْمَ ‌أَجْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْعَامِلِينَ
Qad Khalat Min Qablikum Sunanun Fasīrū Fī Al-'Arđi Fānžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna ('āli `Imn: 137). 003.137 Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth. قَ‍‍دْخَ‍‍لَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكُمْ سُنَنٌ فَسِيرُ‌وا فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ فَا‌نْ‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍رُ‌وا كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َانَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
dhā Bayānun Lilnnāsi Wa Hudan Wa Maw`ižatun Lilmuttaqīna ('āli `Imn: 138). 003.138 Here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear God! هَذَ‌ا‌ بَي‍‍َان ٌ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَهُ‍‍د‌ىً ‌وَمَوْعِ‍‍‍‍ظَ‍‍ة ٌ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Lā Tahinū Wa Lā Taĥzanū Wa 'Antumu Al-'A`lawna 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna ('āli `Imn: 139). 003.139 So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. وَلاَ‌ تَهِنُوا ‌وَلاَ‌ تَحْزَنُوا ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمُ ‌الأَعْلَ‍‍وْنَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
'In Yamsaskum Qarĥun Faqad Massa Al-Qawma Qarĥun Mithluhu ۚ Wa Tilka Al-'Ayyāmu Nudāwiluhā Bayna An-Nāsi Wa Liya`lama Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Yattakhidha Minkum Shuhadā'a ۗ Wa Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna ('āli `Imn: 140). 003.140 If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that God may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And God loveth not those that do wrong. إِ‌ن‌ْ يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَ‍‍رْحٌ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ مَسَّ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ قَ‍‍رْحٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ ‌وَتِلْكَ ‌الأَيّ‍‍َامُ نُدَ‌ا‌وِلُهَا‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَلِيَعْلَمَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَيَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ شُهَد‍َ‌اءَ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Liyumaĥĥişa Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Yamĥaqa Al-Kāfirīna ('āli `Imn: 141). 003.141 God's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing Those that resist Faith. وَلِيُمَحِّ‍‍‍‍صَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَيَمْحَ‍‍قَ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
'Am Ĥasibtum 'An Tadkhulū Al-Jannata Wa Lammā Ya`lami Allāhu Al-Ladhīna Jāhadū Minkum Wa Ya`lama Aş-Şābirīna ('āli `Imn: 142). 003.142 Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without God testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? أَمْ حَسِ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍لُوا ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةَ ‌وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَعْلَمِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ جَاهَدُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَيَعْلَمَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Laqad Kuntum Tatamannawn Al-Mawta Min Qabli 'An Talqawhu Faqad Ra'aytumūhu Wa 'Antum Tanžurūna ('āli `Imn: 143). 003.143 Ye did indeed wish for death before ye met him: Now ye have seen him with your own eyes, (And ye flinch!) وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَتَمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍وْ‌ن ‌الْمَ‍‍وْتَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْهُ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْرَ‌أَيْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa Mā Muĥammadun 'Illā Rasūlun Qad Khalat Min Qablihi Ar-Rusulu ۚ 'Afa'īn Māta 'Aw Qutila Anqalabtum `Alá 'A`qābikum ۚ Wa Man Yanqalib `Alá `Aqibayhi Falan Yađurra Allāha Shay'āan ۗ Wa Sayaj Al-Lahu Ash-Shākirīna ('āli `Imn: 144). 003.144 Muhammad is no more than an apostle: many Were the apostle that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to God; but God (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude. وَمَا‌ مُحَ‍‍مَّ‍‍دٌ ‌إِلاَّ ‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ قَ‍‍دْخَ‍‍لَتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِ ‌ال‍‍رُّسُلُ ۚ ‌أَفَإِيْ‍‍ن م‍‍َاتَ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ قُ‍‍تِلَ ‌انْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لَ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ عَلَ‍‍ى أَعْ‍‍قَ‍‍ابِكُمْ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لِ‍‍ب‌ْ عَلَى‌ عَ‍‍قِ‍‍بَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ضُ‍رَّ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۗ ‌وَسَيَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌اللَّهُ ‌ال‍‍شَّاكِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Mā Kāna Linafsin 'An Tamūta 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi Kitābāan Mu'uajjalāan ۗ Wa Man Yurid Thawāba Ad-Dunyā Nu'utihi Minhā Wa Man Yurid Thawāba Al-'Ākhirati Nu'utihi Minhā ۚ Wa Sanaj Ash-Shākirīna ('āli `Imn: 145). 003.145 Nor can a soul die except by God's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude. وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لِنَفْسٍ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَم‍‍ُ‍وتَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كِتَاباً مُؤَجَّلاً ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍رِ‌دْ‌ ثَو‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ نُؤْتِهِ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍رِ‌دْ‌ ثَو‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۚ ‌وَسَنَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌ال‍‍شَّاكِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Ka'ayyin Min Nabīyin Qātala Ma`ahu Ribbīyūna Kathīrun Famā Wahanū Limā 'Aşābahum Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa Mā Đa`ufū Wa Mā Astakānū ۗ Wa Allāhu Yuĥibbu Aş-Şābirīna ('āli `Imn: 146). 003.146 How many of the prophets fought (in God's way), and with them (fought) Large bands of godly men? but they never lost heart if they met with disaster in God's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And God Loves those who are firm and steadfast. وَكَأَيِّ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَبِيٍّ قَ‍‍اتَلَ مَعَهُ ‌رِبِّيّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ كَث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَ‍‍ا أَ‍صَ‍‍ابَهُمْ فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَا‌ ضَ‍‍عُفُوا ‌وَمَا‌ ‌اسْتَكَانُوا ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Mā Kāna Qawlahum 'Illā 'An Qālū Rabbanā Aghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa 'Isfanā Fī 'Amrinā Wa Thabbit 'Aqdāmanā Wa Anşurnā `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Kāfirīna ('āli `Imn: 147). 003.147 All that they said was: "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith." وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ قَ‍‍وْلَهُمْ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ قَ‍‍الُوا ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ ‌اغْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَ‌إِسْ‍رَ‌افَنَا‌ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَمْ‍‍رِنَا وَثَبِّتْ ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍دَ‌امَنَا وَ‌انْ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍رْنَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Fa'ātāhumu Allāhu Thawāba Ad-Dunyā Wa Ĥusna Thawābi Al-'Ākhirati ۗ Wa Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna ('āli `Imn: 148). 003.148 And God gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. For God Loveth those who do good. فَآتَاهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ثَو‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَحُسْنَ ثَو‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tuţī`ū Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yaruddūkum `Alá 'A`qābikum Fatanqalibū Khāsirīna ('āli `Imn: 149). 003.149 O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss. يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُ‍‍وا ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍يعُوا ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا يَرُ‌دُّ‌وكُمْ عَلَ‍‍ى أَعْ‍‍قَ‍‍ابِكُمْ فَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لِبُوا خَ‍‍اسِ‍‍رِينَ
Bali Allāhu Mawlākum ۖ Wa Huwa Khayru An-Nāşirīna ('āli `Imn: 150). 003.150 Nay, God is your protector, and He is the best of helpers. بَلِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَوْلاَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَهُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍اصِ‍‍رِينَ
Sanulqī Fī Qulūbi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ar-Ru`ba Bimā 'Ashrakū Billāhi Mā Lam Yunazzil Bihi Sulţānāan ۖ Wa Ma'w7humu An-Nāru ۚ Wa Bi'sa Math Až-Žālimīna ('āli `Imn: 151). 003.151 Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with God, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers! سَنُلْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍ي فِي قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌ال‍‍رُّعْبَ بِمَ‍‍ا أَشْ‍رَكُوا بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْ‍‍طَ‍‍اناً ۖ ‌وَمَأْ‌وَ‌اهُمُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ۚ ‌وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَ‌ى‌ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Laqad Şadaqakumu Allāhu Wa`dahu 'Idh Taĥussūnahum Bi'idhnihi ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā Fashiltum Wa Tanāza`tum Al-'Amri Wa `Aşaytum Min Ba`di Mā 'Akum Mā Tuĥibbūna ۚ Minkum Man Yurīdu Ad-Dunyā Wa Minkum Man Yurīdu Al-'Ākhirata ۚ Thumma Şarafakum `Anhum Liyabtaliyakum ۖ Wa Laqad `Afā `Ankum ۗ Wa Allāhu Dhū Fađlin `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna ('āli `Imn: 152). 003.152 God did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For God is full of grace to those who believe. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْصَ‍‍دَقَ‍‍كُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَعْدَهُ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ تَحُسُّونَهُمْ بِإِ‌ذْنِهِ ۖ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ فَشِلْتُمْ ‌وَتَنَا‌زَعْتُمْ فِي ‌الأَمْ‍‍رِ ‌وَعَ‍‍صَ‍‍يْتُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌‍رَ‌اكُمْ مَا‌ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۚ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةَ ۚ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ صَ‍رَفَكُمْ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لِيَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَلِيَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَفَا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌ذُ‌و‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لٍ عَلَى‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
'Idh Tuş`idūna Wa Lā Talwūna `Alá 'Aĥadin Wa Ar-Rasūlu Yad`ūkum Fī 'Ukhkum Fa'athābakum Ghammāan Bighammin Likaylā Taĥzanū `Alá Mā Fātakum Wa Lā Mā 'Aşābakum ۗ Wa Allāhu Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna ('āli `Imn: 153). 003.153 Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Apostle in your rear was calling you back. There did God give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For God is well aware of all that ye do. إِ‌ذْ‌ تُ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍عِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَلْو‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَلَ‍‍ى أَحَد‌ٍ ‌وَ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولُ يَ‍‍دْعُوكُمْ فِ‍‍ي ‌أُخْ‍رَ‌اكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَ‍‍مّ‍‍اً بِ‍‍غَ‍‍مٍّ لِكَيْلاَ‌ تَحْزَنُوا عَلَى‌ مَا‌ فَاتَكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ مَ‍‍ا أَ‍صَ‍‍ابَكُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Thumma 'Anzala `Alaykum Min Ba`di Al-Ghammi 'Amanatan Nu`āsāan Yaghshá Ţā'ifatan Minkum ۖ Wa Ţā'ifatun Qad 'Ahammat/hum 'Anfusuhum Yažunnūna Billāhi Ghayra Al-Ĥaqqi Žanna Al-Jāhilīyati ۖ Yaqūlūna Hal Lanā Mina Al-'Amri Min Shay'in ۗ Qul 'Inna Al-'Amra Kullahu Lillāh ۗ Yukhfūna Fī 'Anfusihim Mā Lā Yubdūna Laka ۖ Yaqūlūna Law Kāna Lanā Mina Al-'Amri Shay'unQutilnā Hāhunā ۗ Qul Law Kuntum Fī Buyūtikum Labaraza Al-Ladhīna Kutiba `Alayhimu Al-Qatlu 'Ilá Mađāji`ihim ۖ Wa Liyabtaliya Allāhu Mā Fī Şudūrikum Wa Liyumaĥĥişa Mā Fī Qulūbikum ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri ('āli `Imn: 154). 003.154 After (the excitement) of the distress, He sent down calm on a band of you overcome with slumber, while another band was stirred to anxiety by their own feelings, Moved by wrong suspicions of God-suspicions due to ignorance. They said: "What affair is this of ours?" Say thou: "Indeed, this affair is wholly God's." They hide in their minds what they dare not reveal to thee. They say (to themselves): "If we had had anything to do with this affair, We should not have been in the slaughter here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death"; but (all this was) that God might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For God knoweth well the secrets of your hearts. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍زَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍مِّ ‌أَمَنَةً نُعَاساً يَ‍‍غْ‍‍شَى‌ طَ‍‍ائِفَةً مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ۖ ‌وَطَ‍‍ائِفَةٌ قَ‍‍دْ أَهَ‍‍مَّ‍‍تْهُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسُهُمْ يَ‍‍ظُ‍‍نّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ظَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ۖ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ هَلْ لَنَا‌ مِنَ ‌الأَمْ‍‍رِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الأَمْ‍رَ‌ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ ۗ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِهِمْ مَا‌ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ُ‍‌ونَ لَكَ ۖ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَوْ‌ ك‍‍َانَ لَنَا‌ مِنَ ‌الأَمْ‍‍رِ شَ‍‍يْءٌ مَا‌ قُ‍‍تِلْنَا‌ هَاهُنَا‌ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ لَوْ‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَ‍رَ‌زَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍تْلُ ‌إِلَى‌ مَ‍‍ضَ‍‍اجِعِهِمْ ۖ ‌وَلِيَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَلِيَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَا‌ فِي صُ‍‍دُ‌و‌رِكُمْ ‌وَلِيُمَحِّ‍‍صَ مَا‌ فِي قُ‍‍لُوبِكُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِذ‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍صُّ‍‍دُ‌و‌رِ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Tawallawā Minkum Yawma Altaqá Al-Jam`āni 'Innamā Astazallahumu Ash-Shayţānu Biba`đi Mā Kasabū ۖ Wa Laqad `Afā Al-Lahu `Anhum ۗ 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Ĥalīmun ('āli `Imn: 155). 003.155 Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts Met,-it was Satan who caused them to fail, because of some (evil) they had done. But God Has blotted out (their fault): For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَوَلَّوْ‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْتَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ ‌الْجَمْع‍‍َانِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ ‌اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ بِبَعْ‍‍ضِ مَا‌ كَسَبُوا ۖ ‌وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَفَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌رٌ‌ حَلِيمٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Kafarū Wa Qālū Li'khwānihim 'Idhā Đarabū Fī Al-'Arđi 'Aw Kānū Ghuzzan Law Kānū `Indanā Mā Mātū Wa Mā Qutilū Liyaj`ala Allāhu Dhālika ĤasratanQulūbihim ۗ Wa Allāhu Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu ۗ Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun ('āli `Imn: 156). 003.156 O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that God may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is God that gives Life and Death, and God sees well all that ye do. يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لاَ‌ تَكُونُوا كَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا لِأخْ‍‍وَ‌انِهِمْ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ضَ‍رَبُوا فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ كَانُوا غُ‍‍زّ‌ىً لَوْ‌ كَانُوا عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَنَا‌ مَا‌ مَاتُوا ‌وَمَا‌ قُ‍‍تِلُوا لِيَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌ذَلِكَ حَسْ‍رَةً فِي قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يُحْيِي ‌وَيُم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍تُ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرٌ
Wa La'in Qutiltum Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Muttum Lamaghfiratun Mina Allāhi Wa Raĥmatun Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna ('āli `Imn: 157). 003.157 And if ye are slain, or die, in the way of God, forgiveness and mercy from God are far better than all they could amass. وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قُ‍‍تِلْتُمْ فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مُتُّمْ لَمَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٌ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَةٌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍مَعُونَ
Wa La'in Muttum 'Aw Qutiltum La'ilá Allāhi Tuĥsharūna ('āli `Imn: 158). 003.158 And if ye die, or are slain, Lo! it is unto God that ye are brought together. وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مُتُّمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ قُ‍‍تِلْتُمْ لَإِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ تُحْشَرُ‌ونَ
Fabimā Raĥmatin Mina Allāhi Linta Lahum ۖ Wa Law Kunta Fažžāan Ghalīža Al-Qalbi Lānfađđū Min Ĥawlika ۖ Fā`fu `Anhum Wa Astaghfir Lahum Wa Shāwirhum Al-'Amri ۖ Fa'idhā `Azamta Fatawakkal `Alá Allāhi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Mutawakkilīna ('āli `Imn: 159). 003.159 It is part of the Mercy of God that thou dost deal gently with them Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (Their faults), and ask for (God's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment). Then, when thou hast Taken a decision put thy trust in God. For God loves those who put their trust (in Him). فَبِمَا ‍‍‍رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ لَهُمْ ۖ ‌وَلَوْ‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ فَ‍‍ظّ‍‍اً‌ غَ‍‍ل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ظَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍لْبِ لاَ‌نْ‍‍فَ‍‍ضُّ‍‍وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ حَوْلِكَ ۖ فَاعْفُ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‌اسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَهُمْ ‌وَشَا‌وِ‌رْ‍هُمْ فِي ‌الأَمْ‍‍رِ ۖ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
'In Yanşurkumu Allāhu Falā Ghāliba Lakum ۖ Wa 'In Yakhdhulkum Faman Dhā Al-Ladhī Yanşurukum Min Ba`dihi ۗ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna ('āli `Imn: 160). 003.160 If God helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you? in God, then, Let believers put their trust. إِ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍رْكُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فَلاَ غَ‍‍الِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍ذُلْكُمْ فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌الَّذِي يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍رُكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِهِ ۗ ‌وَعَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ‌الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Mā Kāna Linabīyin 'An Yaghulla ۚ Wa Man Yaghlul Ya'ti Bimā Ghalla Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۚ Thumma Tuwaffá Kullu Nafsin Mā Kasabat Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna ('āli `Imn: 161). 003.161 No prophet could (ever) be false to his trust. If any person is so false, He shall, on the Day of Judgment, restore what he misappropriated; then shall every soul receive its due,- whatever it earned,- and none shall be dealt with unjustly. وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لِنَبِيٍّ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍لَّ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍لُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا‌ غَ‍‍لَّ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ۚ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ تُوَفَّى‌ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا‌ كَسَبَتْ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍ظْ‍‍لَمُونَ
'Afamani Attaba`a Riđwāna Allāhi Kaman Bā'a Bisakhaţin Mina Allāhi Wa Ma'w7hu Jahannamu ۚ Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru ('āli `Imn: 162). 003.162 Is the man who follows the good pleasure of God Like the man who draws on himself the wrath of God, and whose abode is in Hell?- A woeful refuge! أَفَمَنِ ‌اتَّبَعَ ‌رِ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌انَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ب‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ بِسَ‍‍خَ‍‍طٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَأْ‌و‍َ‍‌اهُ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مُ ۚ ‌وَبِئْسَ ‌الْمَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
Hum Darajātun `Inda Allāhi ۗ Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ya`malūna ('āli `Imn: 163). 003.163 They are in varying gardens in the sight of God, and God sees well all that they do. هُمْ ‌دَ‌‍‍‍رَج‍‍َاتٌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
Laqad Manna Allāhu `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna 'Idh Ba`atha Fīhim Rasūlāan Min 'Anfusihim Yatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātihi Wa Yuzakkīhim Wa Yu`allimuhumu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa 'In Kānū Min Qablu Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin ('āli `Imn: 164). 003.164 God did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them an apostle from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of God, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error. لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ مَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَلَى‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ ‌‍رَسُولاً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ‌آيَاتِهِ ‌وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ‌وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَ‌الْحِكْمَةَ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كَانُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ لَفِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ مُبِينٍ
'Awalammā 'Aşābatkum Muşībatun Qad 'Aşabtum Mithlayhā Qultum 'Anná Hādhā ۖ Qul Huwa Min `Indi 'Anfusikum ۗ 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun ('āli `Imn: 165). 003.165 What! When a single disaster smites you, although ye smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, do ye say?- "Whence is this?" Say (to them): "It is from yourselves: For God hath power over all things." أَ‌وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا أَ‍‍صَ‍‍ابَتْكُمْ مُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَةٌ قَ‍‍دْ أَ‍صَ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ مِثْلَيْهَا‌ قُ‍‍لْتُمْ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ى‌ هَذَ‌ا‌ ۖ قُ‍‍لْ هُوَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِكُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
Wa Mā 'Aşābakum Yawma Altaqá Al-Jam`āni Fabi'idhni Allāhi Wa Liya`lama Al-Mu'uminīna ('āli `Imn: 166). 003.166 What ye suffered on the day the two armies Met, was with the leave of God, in order that He might test the believers,- وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‍‍صَ‍‍ابَكُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ ‌الْجَمْع‍‍َانِ فَبِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَلِيَعْلَمَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna Nāfaqū ۚ Wa Qīla Lahum Ta`ālawā Qātilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Adfa`ū ۖ Qālū Law Na`lamu Qitālāan Lāttaba`nākum ۗ Hum Lilkufri Yawma'idhin 'Aqrabu Minhum Lil'īmāni ۚ Yaqūlūna Bi'afwhihim Mā Laysa Fī Qulūbihim ۗ Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yaktumūna ('āli `Imn: 167). 003.167 And the Hypocrites also. These were told: "Come, fight in the way of God, or (at least) drive (The foe from your city)." They said: "Had we known how to fight, we should certainly have followed you." They were that day nearer to Unbelief than to Faith, saying with their lips what was not in their hearts but God hath full knowledge of all they conceal. وَلِيَعْلَمَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ نَافَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ۚ ‌وَقِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْ‌ا‌ قَ‍‍اتِلُوا فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ ‌ا‌دْفَعُوا ۖ قَ‍‍الُوا لَوْ‌ نَعْلَمُ قِ‍‍تَالاً لاَتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ ۗ هُمْ لِلْكُفْ‍‍رِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَبُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لِلإِيم‍‍َانِ ۚ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِأَفْو‌اهِهِمْ مَا‌ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ فِي قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ يَكْتُمُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Qālū Li'khwānihim Wa Qa`adū Law 'Aţā`ūnā Mā Qutilū ۗ Qul Fādra'ū `An 'Anfusikumu Al-Mawta 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna ('āli `Imn: 168). 003.168 (They are) the ones that say, (of their brethren slain), while they themselves sit (at ease): "If only they had listened to us they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert death from your own selves, if ye speak the truth." ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ قَ‍‍الُوا لِأخْ‍‍وَ‌انِهِمْ ‌وَقَ‍‍عَدُ‌وا لَوْ أَطَ‍‍اعُونَا‌ مَا‌ قُ‍‍تِلُوا ۗ قُ‍‍لْ فَا‌دْ‌‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِكُمُ ‌الْمَ‍‍وْتَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Qutilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Amwātāan ۚ Bal 'Aĥyā'un `Inda Rabbihim Yurzaqūna ('āli `Imn: 169). 003.169 Think not of those who are slain in God's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; وَلاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ قُ‍‍تِلُوا فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَمْوَ‌اتاً ۚ بَلْ ‌أَحْي‍‍َا‌ءٌ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّهِمْ يُرْ‌زَقُ‍‍ونَ
Farīna Bimā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi Wa Yastabshirūna Bial-Ladhīna Lam Yalĥaqū Bihim Min Khalfihim 'Allā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna ('āli `Imn: 170). 003.170 They rejoice in the bounty provided by God: And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve. فَ‍‍رِح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بِمَ‍‍ا آتَاهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ‌وَيَسْتَ‍‍بْ‍‍شِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمْ يَلْحَ‍‍قُ‍‍وا بِهِمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍لْفِهِمْ ‌أَلاَّ خَ‍‍وْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Yastabshirūna Bini`matin Mina Allāhi Wa Fađlin Wa 'Anna Allāha Lā Yuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Mu'uminīna ('āli `Imn: 171). 003.171 They glory in the Grace and the bounty from God, and in the fact that God suffereth not the reward of the Faithful to be lost (in the least). يَسْتَ‍‍بْ‍‍شِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَفَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لٍ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍عُ ‌أَجْ‍‍‍رَ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Al-Ladhīna Astajābū Lillāh Wa Ar-Rasūli Min Ba`di Mā 'Aşābahumu Al-Qarĥu ۚ Lilladhīna 'Aĥsanū Minhum Wa Attaqawā 'Ajrun `Ažīmun ('āli `Imn: 172). 003.172 Of those who answered the call of God and the Apostle, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward;- ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَ‍‍ا أَ‍صَ‍‍ابَهُمُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْحُ ۚ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَحْسَنُوا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا أَجْ‍‍رٌ‌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Al-Ladhīna Qāla Lahumu An-Nāsu 'Inna An-Nāsa Qad Jama`ū Lakumkhshawhum Fazādahum 'Īmānāan Wa Qālū Ĥasbunā Al-Lahu Wa Ni`ma Al-Wakīlu ('āli `Imn: 173). 003.173 Men said to them: "A great army is gathering against you": And frightened them: But it (only) increased their Faith: They said: "For us God sufficeth, and He is the best disposer of affairs." ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ قَ‍الَ لَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ قَ‍‍دْ‌ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْ‍‍شَوْهُمْ فَزَ‌ا‌دَهُمْ ‌إِيمَاناً ‌وَقَ‍‍الُوا حَسْبُنَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ ‌وَنِعْمَ ‌الْوَكِيلُ
nqalabū Bini`matin Mina Allāhi Wa Fađlin Lam Yamsas/hum Sū'un Wa Attaba`ū Riđwāna Allāhi ۗ Wa Allāhu Dhū Fađlin `Ažīmin ('āli `Imn: 174). 003.174 And they returned with Grace and bounty from God: no harm ever touched them: For they followed the good pleasure of God: And God is the Lord of bounties unbounded. فَا‌نْ‍‍‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَفَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لٍ لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءٌ ‌وَ‌اتَّبَعُوا ‌رِ‍ضْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌انَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌ذُ‌و‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لٍ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
'Innamā Dhalikumu Ash-Shayţānu Yukhawwifu 'Awliyā'ahu Falā Takhāfūhum Wa Khāfūni 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna ('āli `Imn: 175). 003.175 It is only the Evil One that suggests to you the fear of his votaries: Be ye not afraid of them, but fear Me, if ye have Faith. إِنَّ‍‍مَا ذَلِكُمُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍‍‍طَ‍انُ يُ‍‍خَ‍‍وِّفُ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَهُ فَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍خَ‍‍افُوهُمْ ‌وَ‍خَ‍‍اف‍‍ُ‍ونِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Lā Yaĥzunka Al-Ladhīna Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Kufri ۚ 'Innahum Lan Yađurrū Allaha Shay'āan ۗ Yurīdu Allāhu 'Allā Yaj`ala Lahum Ĥažžāan Al-'Ākhirati ۖ Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun ('āli `Imn: 176). 003.176 Let not those grieve thee who rush headlong into Unbelief: Not the least harm will they do to God: God's plan is that He will give them no portion in the Hereafter, but a severe punishment. وَلاَ‌ يَحْزُ‌نْ‍‍كَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُسَا‌رِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي ‌الْكُفْ‍‍رِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّ‌وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۗ يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَلاَّ‌ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَ لَهُمْ حَ‍‍ظّ‍‍اً فِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۖ ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Ashtaraw Al-Kufra Bil-'Īmāni Lan Yađurrū Allaha Shay'āan Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 177). 003.177 Those who purchase Unbelief at the price of faith,- not the least harm will they do to God, but they will have a grievous punishment. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اشْتَ‍‍‍رَ‌وُ‌ا‌ ‌الْكُفْ‍رَ‌ بِ‌الإِيم‍‍َانِ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّ‌وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَلِيمٌ
Wa Lā Yaĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Annamā Numlī Lahum Khayrun Li'anfusihim ۚ 'Innamā Numlī Lahum Liyazdādū 'Ithmāan ۚ Wa Lahum `Adhābun Muhīnun ('āli `Imn: 178). 003.178 Let not the Unbelievers think that our respite to them is good for themselves: We grant them respite that they may grow in their iniquity: But they will have a shameful punishment. وَلاَ‌ يَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌أَنَّ‍‍مَا‌ نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لِأَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِهِمْ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْ‌دَ‌ا‌دُ‌وا ‌إِثْماً ۚ ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ مُهِينٌ
Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyadhara Al-Mu'uminīna `Alá Mā 'Antum `Alayhi Ĥattá Yamīza Al-Khabītha Mina Aţ-Ţayyibi ۗ Wa Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyu55li`akum `Alá Al-Ghaybi Wa Lakinna Allāha Yajtabī Min Rusulihi Man ۖ Yashā'u Fa'āminū Billāhi ۚ Wa Rusulihi Wa 'In Tu'uminū Wa Tattaqū Falakum 'Ajrun `Ažīmun ('āli `Imn: 179). 003.179 God will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good nor will He disclose to you the secrets of the Unseen. But He chooses of His Apostles (For the purpose) whom He pleases. So believe in God. And His apostles: And if ye believe and do right, ye have a reward without measure. مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لِيَذَ‌‍‍‍رَ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَلَى‌ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ حَتَّى‌ يَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍زَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ثَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّبِ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لِيُ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍لِعَكُمْ عَلَى‌ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍تَبِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌رُسُلِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌رُسُلِهِ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُؤْمِنُوا ‌وَتَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا فَلَكُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رٌ‌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Wa Lā Yaĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Yabkhalūna Bimā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi Huwa Khayan Lahum ۖ Bal Huwa Sharrun Lahum ۖ Sayu55awwaqūna Mā Bakhilū Bihi Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ Wa Lillāh Mīthu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun ('āli `Imn: 180). 003.180 And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which God Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To God belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and God is well-acquainted with all that ye do. وَلاَ‌ يَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِمَ‍‍ا آتَاهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ هُوَ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً لَهُمْ ۖ بَلْ هُوَ‌ شَرّ‌ٌ لَهُمْ ۖ سَيُ‍‍طَ‍‍وَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ مَا‌ بَ‍‍خِ‍‍لُوا بِهِ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ۗ ‌وَلِلَّهِ مِي‍رَ‍‌اثُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ خَ‍‍بِيرٌ
Laqad Sami`a Allāhu Qawla Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Allāha Faqīrun Wa Naĥnu 'Aghniyā'u ۘ Sanaktubu Mā Qālū Wa Qatlahumu Al-'Anbiyā'a Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Naqūlu Dhūqū `Adhāba Al-Ĥarīqi ('āli `Imn: 181). 003.181 God hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, God is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire! لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ سَمِعَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ قَ‍‍وْلَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ فَ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍رٌ ‌وَنَحْنُ ‌أَغْ‍‍نِي‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا‌ قَ‍‍الُوا ‌وَقَ‍‍تْلَهُمُ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍بِي‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حَ‍‍قٍّ ‌وَنَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌ذُ‌وقُ‍‍وا عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌الْحَ‍‍رِي‍‍قِ
Dhālika Bimā Qaddamat 'Ayd99kum Wa 'Anna Allāha Laysa Bižallāmin Lil`abīdi ('āli `Imn: 182). 003.182 "This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For God never harms those who serve Him." ذَلِكَ بِمَا‌ قَ‍‍دَّمَتْ ‌أَيْدِيكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ بِ‍‍ظَ‍‍لاَّمٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ
Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Allāha `Ahida 'Ilaynā 'Allā Nu'umina Lirasūlin Ĥattá Ya'tiyanā Biqurbānin Ta'kuluhu An-Nāru ۗ Qul Qad Jā'akum Rusulun Min Qablī Bil-Bayyināti Wa Bial-Ladhī Qultum Falima Qataltumūhum 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna ('āli `Imn: 183). 003.183 They (also) said: "God took our promise not to believe in an apostle unless He showed us a sacrifice consumed by Fire (From heaven)." Say: "There came to you apostles before me, with clear Signs and even with what ye ask for: why then did ye slay them, if ye speak the truth?" ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَ‍‍ا أَلاَّ‌ نُؤْمِنَ لِ‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٍ حَتَّى‌ يَأْتِيَنَا‌ بِ‍‍قُ‍‍رْب‍‍َانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ‌رُسُلٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِي بِ‌الْبَيِّن‍‍َاتِ ‌وَبِالَّذِي قُ‍‍لْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَ‍‍تَلْتُمُوهُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Fa'in Kadhdhabūka Faqad Kudhdhiba Rusulun Min Qablika Jā'ū Bil-Bayyināti Wa Az-Zuburi Wa Al-Kitābi Al-Munīri ('āli `Imn: 184). 003.184 Then if they reject thee, so were rejected apostles before thee, who came with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. فَإِ‌ن‌ْ كَذَّب‍‍ُ‍وكَ فَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كُذِّبَ ‌رُسُلٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ ج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ بِ‌الْبَيِّن‍‍َاتِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍زُّبُ‍‍رِ ‌وَ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌الْمُنِي‍‍رِ
Kullu Nafsin Dhā'iqatu Al-Mawti ۗ Wa 'Innamā Tuwaffawna 'Ujūrakum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۖ Faman Zuĥziĥa `Ani An-Nāri Wa 'Udkhila Al-Jannata Faqad Fāza ۗ Wa Mā Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā 'Illā Matā`u Al-Ghurūri ('āli `Imn: 185). 003.185 Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception. كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ‌ذ‍َ‍‌ائِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ةُ ‌الْمَ‍‍وْتِ ۗ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ تُوَفَّ‍‍وْنَ ‌أُجُو‌‍رَكُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ۖ فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌زُحْزِحَ عَنِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رِ ‌وَ‌أُ‌دْ‍خِ‍‍لَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةَ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ف‍‍َا‌زَ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةُ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَ‍‍ا إِلاَّ‌ مَت‍‍َاعُ ‌الْ‍‍غُ‍‍رُ‌و‌رِ
Latublawunna Fī 'Amwālikum Wa 'Anfusikum Wa Latasma`unna Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Min Qablikum Wa Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ashrakū 'Adhan Kathīan ۚ Wa 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Fa'inna Dhālika Min `Azmi Al-'Umūri ('āli `Imn: 186). 003.186 Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs. لَتُ‍‍بْ‍‍لَوُنّ‌َ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَمْوَ‌الِكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسِكُمْ ‌وَلَتَسْمَعُ‍‍نّ‌َ مِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكُمْ ‌وَمِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَشْ‍رَكُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌ذ‌ىً كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً ۚ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍صْ‍‍بِرُ‌وا ‌وَتَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا فَإِنّ‌َ ‌ذَلِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَزْمِ ‌الأُمُو‌رِ
Wa 'Idh 'Akhadha Allāhu Mīthāqa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Latubayyinunnahu Lilnnāsi Wa Lā Taktumūnahu Fanabadhūhu Warā'a Žuhūrihim Wa Ashtarawā Bihi Thamanāan Qalīlāan ۖ Fabi'sa Mā Yashtarūna ('āli `Imn: 187). 003.187 And remember God took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And vile was the bargain they made! وَ‌إِ‌ذْ أَ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِيث‍‍َاقَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُوا ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ لَتُبَيِّنُ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌وَ‌ر‍َ‌اءَ ظُ‍‍هُو‌رِهِمْ ‌وَ‌اشْتَ‍رَ‌وْ‌ا‌ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَ‍‍لِيلاً ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَا‌ يَشْتَرُ‌ونَ
Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Yafraĥūna Bimā 'Ataw Wa Yuĥibbūna 'An Yuĥmadū Bimā Lam Yaf`alū Falā Taĥsabannahum Bimafāzatin Mina Al-`Adhābi ۖ Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun ('āli `Imn: 188). 003.188 Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed. لاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَفْ‍‍‍رَح‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِمَ‍‍ا أَتَو‌ا وَيُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُحْمَدُ‌وا بِمَا‌ لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا فَلاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ بِمَفَا‌زَةٍ مِنَ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ۖ ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَلِيمٌ
Wa Lillāh Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun ('āli `Imn: 189). 003.189 To God belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and God hath power over all things. وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
'Inna Fī Khalqi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Akhtilāfi Al-Layli Wa An-Nahāri La'āyātin Li'wl99 Al-'Albābi ('āli `Imn: 190). 003.190 Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,- إِنّ‌َ فِي خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قِ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌اخْ‍‍تِلاَفِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رِ لَآي‍‍َاتٍ لِأ‌ولِي ‌الأَلْبَابِ
Al-Ladhīna Yadhkurūna Allāha Qiyāmāan Wa Qu`ūdāan Wa `Alá Junūbihim Wa Yatafakkarūna Fī Khalqi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Rabbanā Mā Khalaqta Hādhā Bāţilāan Subĥānaka Faqinā `Adhāba An-Nāri ('āli `Imn: 191). 003.191 Men who celebrate the praises of God, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَذْكُر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ قِ‍‍يَاماً ‌وَقُ‍‍عُو‌د‌اً ‌وَعَلَى‌ جُنُوبِهِمْ ‌وَيَتَفَكَّر‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قِ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ مَا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تَ هَذَ‌ا‌ بَاطِ‍‍لاً سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَكَ فَ‍‍قِ‍‍نَا‌ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌رِ
Rabbanā 'Innaka Man Tudkhili An-Nāra Faqad 'Akhzaytahu ۖ Wa Mā Lilžžālimīna Min 'Anşārin ('āli `Imn: 192). 003.192 "Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers! ‍‍‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍كَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍‍دْ‍خِ‍‍لِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌‍رَ‌ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‍خْ‍‍زَيْتَهُ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ لِل‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رٍ
Rabbanā 'Innanā Sami`nā Munādīāan Yunādī Lil'īmāni 'An 'Āminū Birabbikum Fa'āmannā ۚ Rabbanā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Kaffir `Annā Sayyi'ātinā Wa Tawaffanā Ma`a Al-'Abrāri ('āli `Imn: 193). 003.193 "Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous. ‍‍‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍نَا‌ سَمِعْنَا‌ مُنَا‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍اً يُنَا‌دِي لِلإِيم‍‍َانِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌آمِنُوا بِ‍رَبِّكُمْ فَآمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ۚ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ فَاغْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ عَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ سَيِّئ‍‍َ‍‍اتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا‌ مَعَ ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍رَ‌ا‌رِ
Rabbanā Wa 'Ātinā Mā Wa`adtanā `Alá Rusulika Wa Lā Tukhzinā Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ 'Innaka Lā Tukhlifu Al-Mī`āda ('āli `Imn: 194). 003.194 "Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise." ‍‍‍رَبَّنَا وَ‌آتِنَا‌ مَا وَعَ‍‍دْتَنَا‌ عَلَى رُسُلِكَ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍خْ‍‍زِنَا‌ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ۗ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لاَ‌ تُ‍‍خْ‍‍لِفُ ‌الْمِيعَا‌دَ
Fāstajāba Lahum Rabbuhum 'Annī Lā 'Uđī`u `Amala `Āmilin Minkum Min Dhakarin 'Aw 'Unthá ۖ Ba`đukum Min Ba`đin ۖ Fa-Al-Ladhīna Hājarū Wa 'Ukhrijū Min Diyārihim Wa 'Ūdhū Fī Sabīlī Wa Qātalū Wa Qutilū La'ukaffiranna `Anhum Sayyi'ātihim Wa La'udkhilannahum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Thawābāan Min `Indi Allāhi ۗ Wa Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Ath-Thawābi ('āli `Imn: 195). 003.195 And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of God, and from His presence is the best of rewards." فَاسْتَج‍‍َابَ لَهُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَبُّهُمْ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي لاَ أُضِ‍‍ي‍‍عُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَكَرٍ أَ‌وْ أُ‌نْ‍‍ثَى‌ ۖ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْ‍‍ضٍۖ فَالَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هَاجَرُ‌وا ‌وَ‌أُخْ‍‍رِجُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دِيَا‌رِهِمْ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌و‌ذُ‌وا فِي سَبِيلِي ‌وَقَ‍‍اتَلُوا ‌وَقُ‍‍تِلُوا لَأُكَفِّ‍رَنّ‌َ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ سَيِّئ‍‍َ‍‍اتِهِمْ ‌وَلَأُ‌دْ‍خِ‍‍لَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ثَوَ‌اباً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ حُسْنُ ‌ال‍‍ثَّوَ‌ابِ
Lā Yaghurrannaka Taqallubu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fī Al-Bilādi ('āli `Imn: 196). 003.196 Let not the strutting about of the Unbelievers through the land deceive thee: لاَ‌ يَ‍‍‍‍غُ‍رَّنَّ‍‍كَ تَ‍‍قَ‍‍لُّبُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا فِي ‌الْبِلاَ‌دِ
Matā`un Qalīlun Thumma Ma'w7hum Jahannamu ۚ Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu ('āli `Imn: 197). 003.197 Little is it for enjoyment: Their ultimate abode is Hell: what an evil bed (To lie on)! مَت‍‍َاعٌ قَ‍‍ل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ مَأْ‌وَ‌اهُمْ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مُ ۚ ‌وَبِئْسَ ‌الْمِهَا‌دُ
Lakini Al-Ladhīna Attaqawā Rabbahum Lahum Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Nuzulāan Min `Indi Allāhi ۗ Wa Mā `Inda Allāhi Khayrun Lil'abrāri ('āli `Imn: 198). 003.198 On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of God; and that which is in the presence of God is the best (bliss) for the righteous. لَكِنِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا ‍رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ نُزُلاً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لِلأَبْ‍‍‍رَ‌ا‌رِ
Wa 'Inna Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Laman Yu'uminu Billāhi Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilaykum Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayhim Khāshi`īna Lillāh Lā Yashtarūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Thamanāan ۗ Qalīlāan 'Ūlā'ika Lahum 'Ajruhum `Inda ۗ Rabbihim 'Inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi ('āli `Imn: 199). 003.199 And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in God, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to God: They will not sell the Signs of God for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and God is swift in account. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَهْلِ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُؤْمِنُ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَيْكُمْ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَيْهِمْ خَ‍‍اشِع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لِلَّهِ لاَ‌ يَشْتَر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِآي‍‍َاتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ثَمَناً قَ‍‍لِيلاً‌ ۗ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رُهُمْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّهِمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْحِسَابِ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Aşbirū Wa Şābirū Wa biţū Wa Attaqū Allaha La`allakum Tufliĥūna ('āli `Imn: 200). 003.200 O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear God; that ye may prosper. يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌ا‍‍صْ‍‍بِرُ‌وا ‌وَ‍صَ‍‍ابِرُ‌وا ‌وَ‌‍رَ‌ابِ‍‍طُ‍‍وا ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
