Wa A l-`Ādiyā ti Đ ab ĥāan
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), (Al-'Adiyat 100:1)
وَالْعَادِيَا تِ ضَ بْ حاً
Fālmūr iyā ti Q ad ĥāan
Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), (Al-'Adiyat 100:2)
فَالْمُور ِيَا تِ قَ د ْحاً
Fālmugh r ā ti Ş ub ĥāan
And scouring to the raid at dawn (Al-'Adiyat 100:3)
فَالْمُغِ يرَ ا تِ صُ بْ حاً
Fa'ath arna Bihi Naq n
And raise the dust in clouds the while, (Al-'Adiyat 100:4)
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْ عاً
Fawasaţ i Jam `āan
Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); (Al-'Adiyat 100:5)
فَوَسَطْ نَ بِهِ جَمْعاً
'Inn a A l-'In sā na Lira bbihi Lakanū d un
Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; (Al-'Adiyat 100:6)
إِنّ َ ا لإِن سَا نَ لِرَ بِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ
Wa 'Inn ahu `Alá Dh ālika Lash ahī d un
And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); (Al-'Adiyat 100:7)
وَإِنَّ هُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
Wa 'Inn ahu Liĥubbi A l-Kh y r i Lash adī d un
And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. (Al-'Adiyat 100:8)
وَإِنَّ هُ لِحُبِّ ا لْخَ يْ ر ِ لَشَدِيدٌ
'Afalā Ya`lamu 'Idh ā Bu`th ir a Mā Fī A l-Q ubū r i
Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). (Al-'Adiyat 100:9)
أَفَلاَ يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِر َ مَا فِي ا لْقُ بُور ِ
Wa Ĥuş ş ila Mā Fī A ş -Ş udū r i
And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. (Al-'Adiyat 100:10)
وَحُصِّ لَ مَا فِي ا ل صُّ دُور ِ
'Inn a Ra bbahum Bihim Yawma'idh in Lakh ī r un
Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). (Al-'Adiyat 100:11)
