ratun 'Anzalnāhā Wa Farađnāhā Wa 'Anzalnā Fīhā 'Āyātin Bayyinātin La`allakum Tadhakkarūna (An-Nūr: 1). A chapter that We have revealed, and made obligatory, and revealed in it clear Verses, that you may take heed. 024001 سُو‌‍رَةٌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَاهَا وَفَ‍رَضْ‍‍نَاهَا وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ فِيهَ‍‍ا آي‍‍َاتٍ بَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Az-Zāniyatu Wa Az-Zānī Fājlidū Kulla Wāĥidin Minhumā Miā'ata ۖ Jaldatin Wa Lā Ta'khudhkum Bihimā Ra'fatun Fī Dīni Allāhi 'In Kuntum Tu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi ۖ Al-'Ākhiri Wa Lyash/had `Adhābahumā Ţā'ifatun Mina Al-Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 2). The adulteress and the adulterer"”whip each one of them a hundred lashes, and let no pity towards them overcome you regarding God's Law, if you believe in God and the Last Day. And let a group of believers witness their punishment. 024002 ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌انِيَةُ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌انِي فَاجْ‍‍لِدُ‌وا‌ كُلَّ ‌وَ‌احِد‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَا‌ مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَأْ‍خُ‍‍ذْكُمْ بِهِمَا ‍رَ‌أْفَةٌ فِي ‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍‍رِ‌ ۖ ‌وَلْيَشْهَ‍‍دْ‌ عَذَ‌ابَهُمَا‌ طَ‍‍ائِفَةٌ مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Az-Zānī Lā Yankiĥu 'Illā Zāniyatan 'Aw Mushrikatan Wa Az-Zāniyatu Lā Yankiĥuhā 'Illā Zānin 'Aw Mushrikun ۚ Wa Ĥurrima Dhālika `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 3). The adulterer shall marry none but an adulteress or an idolatress; and the adulteress shall marry none but an adulterer or an idolater. That has been prohibited for the believers. 024003 ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌انِي لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِحُ ‌إلاَّ زَ‌انِيَةً ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مُشْ‍‍رِكَةً ‌وَ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌انِيَةُ لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِحُهَ‍‍ا إِلاَّ ز‍َ‍‌انٍ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مُشْ‍‍رِكٌ ۚ ‌وَحُرِّمَ ‌ذَلِكَ عَلَى‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna Al-Muĥşanāti Thumma Lam Ya'tū Bi'arba`ati Shuhadā'a Fājlidūhum Thamānīna Jaldatan Wa Lā Taqbalū Lahum Shahādatan 'Abadāan ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna (An-Nūr: 4). Those who accuse chaste women, then cannot bring four witnesses, whip them eighty lashes, and do not ever accept their testimony. For these are the immoral. 024004 وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَرْم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْمُحْ‍‍صَ‍‍ن‍‍َاتِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لَمْ يَأْتُوا‌ بِأَ‌رْبَعَةِ شُهَد‍َ‌اءَ‌ فَاجْ‍‍لِدُ‌وهُمْ ثَمَان‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ جَلْدَةً ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍بَلُوا‌ لَهُمْ شَهَا‌دَةً ‌أَبَد‌اً ۚ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍ق‍‍ُو‍نَ
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa 'Aşlaĥū Fa'inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 5). Except for those who repent afterwards, and reform; for God is Forgiving and Merciful. 024005 إِلاَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَابُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍لَحُوا‌ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ رَح‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna 'Azwājahum Wa Lam Yakun Lahum Shuhadā'u 'Illā 'Anfusuhum Fashahādatu 'Aĥadihim 'Arba`u Shahādātin Billāhi ۙ 'Innahu Lamina Aş-Şādiqīna (An-Nūr: 6). As for those who accuse their own spouses, but have no witnesses except themselves, the testimony of one of them is equivalent to four testimonies, if he swears by God that he is truthful. 024006 وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَرْم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجَهُمْ ‌وَلَمْ يَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُمْ شُهَد‍َ‌اءُ إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‍‍فُسُهُمْ فَشَهَا‌دَةُ ‌أَحَدِهِمْ ‌أَ‌رْبَعُ شَهَا‌د‍َ‍‌اتٍ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۙ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Al-Khāmisatu 'Anna La`nata Allāhi `Alayhi 'In Kāna Mina Al-Kādhibīna (An-Nūr: 7). And the fifth time, that God's curse be upon him, if he is a liar. 024007 وَ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍امِسَةُ ‌أَنّ‌َ لَعْنَةَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِب‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Yadra'u `Anhā Al-`Adhāba 'An Tash/hada 'Arba`a Shahādātin Billāhi ۙ 'Innahu Lamina Al-Kādhibīna (An-Nūr: 8). But punishment shall be averted from her, if she swears four times by God, that he is a liar. 024008 وَيَ‍‍دْ‌‍رَ‌أُ‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَشْهَدَ أَ‌رْبَعَ شَهَا‌د‍َ‍‌اتٍ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۙ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَمِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِب‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Al-Khāmisata 'Anna Ghađaba Allāhi `Alayhā 'In Kāna Mina Aş-Şādiqīna (An-Nūr: 9). And the fifth time, that God's wrath be upon her, if he is truthful. 024009 وَ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍امِسَةَ ‌أَنّ‌َ غَ‍‍ضَ‍‍بَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Wa 'Anna Allāha Tawwābun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 10). Were it not for God's grace upon you, and His mercy, and that God is Conciliatory and Wise. 024010 وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ تَوّ‍َ‍‌ابٌ حَك‍‍ِي‍مٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Jā'ū Bil-'Ifki `Uşbatun Minkum ۚ Lā Taĥsabūhu Sharan Lakum ۖ Bal Huwa Khayrun Lakum ۚ Likulli Amri'in MinhumAktasaba Mina Al-'Ithmi ۚ Wa Al-Ladhī Tawallá Kibrahu Minhum Lahu `Adhābun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 11). Those who perpetrated the slander are a band of you. Do not consider it bad for you, but it is good for you. Each person among them bears his share in the sin. As for him who played the major role"”for him is a terrible punishment. 024011 إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ بِ‍‍الإِفْكِ عُ‍‍صْ‍‍بَةٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ۚ لاَ‌ تَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍وهُ شَرّ‌اً لَكُمْ ۖ بَلْ هُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَكُمْ ۚ لِكُلِّ ‌امْ‍‍رِئٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ ‌اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ ‌الإِثْمِ ۚ ‌وَ‌الَّذِي تَوَلَّى‌ كِ‍‍بْ‍رَهُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لَهُ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Lawlā 'Idh Sami`tumūhu Žanna Al-Mu'uminūna Wa Al-Mu'uminātu Bi'anfusihim Khayan Wa Qālū Hādhā 'Ifkun Mubīnun (An-Nūr: 12). Why, when you heard about it, the believing men and women did not think well of one another, and say, "This is an obvious lie"‌? 024012 لَوْلاَ إِ‌ذْ‌ سَمِعْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ ظَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍َاتُ بِأَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً ‌وَقَ‍‍الُوا‌ هَذَ‌ا إِفْكٌ مُب‍‍ِي‍نٌ
Lawlā Jā'ū `Alayhi Bi'arba`ati Shuhadā'a ۚ Fa'idh Lam Ya'tū Bish-Shuhadā'i Fa'ūlā'ika `Inda Allāhi Humu Al-Kādhibūna (An-Nūr: 13). Why did they not bring four witnesses to testify to it? If they fail to bring the witnesses, then in God's sight, they are liars. 024013 لَوْلاَ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ بِأَ‌رْبَعَةِ شُهَد‍َ‌اءَ ۚ فَإِ‌ذْ‌ لَمْ يَأْتُوا‌ بِ‍‍ال‍‍شُّهَد‍َ‌اءِ‌ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ هُمُ ‌الْكَا‌ذِب‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Lamassakum Fī Mā 'Afađtum Fīhi `Adhābun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 14). Were it not for God's favor upon you, and His mercy, in this world and the Hereafter, you would have suffered a great punishment for what you have ventured into. 024014 وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَ‍‍ا أَفَ‍‍ضْ‍‍تُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
'Idh Talaqqawnahu Bi'alsinatikum Wa Taqūlūna Bi'afwāhikum Mā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Taĥsabūnahu Hayyināan Wa Huwa `Inda Allāhi `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 15). When you rumored it with your tongues, and spoke with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and you considered it trivial; but according to God, it is serious. 024015 إِ‌ذْ‌ تَلَ‍‍قَّ‍‍وْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ ‌وَتَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِأَفْوَ‌اهِكُمْ مَا‌ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ‌وَتَحْسَبُونَهُ هَيِّناً ‌وَهُوَ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Lawlā 'Idh Sami`tumūhu Qultum Mā Yakūnu Lanā 'An Natakallama Bihadhā Subĥānaka Hādhā Buhtānun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 16). When you heard it, you should have said, "It is not for us to repeat this. By Your glory, this is a serious slander."‌ 024016 وَلَوْلاَ إِ‌ذْ‌ سَمِعْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ قُ‍‍لْتُمْ مَا‌ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَ‌ا‌ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَكَ هَذَ‌ا‌ بُهْت‍‍َانٌ عَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Ya`ižukumu Allāhu 'An Ta`ūdū Limithlihi 'Abadāan 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 17). God cautions you never to return to the like of it, if you are believers. 024017 يَعِ‍ظُ‍‍كُمُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَعُو‌دُ‌وا‌ لِمِثْلِهِ ‌أَبَد‌اً ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ مُؤْمِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakumu Al-'Āyāti ۚ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 18). God explains the Verses to you. God is Knowing and Wise. 024018 وَيُبَيِّنُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَك‍‍ِي‍مٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yuĥibbūna 'An Tashī`a Al-Fāĥishatu Fī Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati ۚ Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Wa 'Antum Lā Ta`lamūna (An-Nūr: 19). Those who love to see immorality spread among the believers"”for them is a painful punishment, in this life and in the Hereafter. God knows, and you do not know. 024019 إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَش‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عَ ‌الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ يَعْلَمُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لاَ‌ تَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Wa 'Anna Allāha Ra'ūfun Raĥīm (An-Nūr: 20). Were it not for God's grace upon you, and His mercy, and that God is Clement and Merciful. 024020 وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وف ٌ رَح‍‍ِي‍‍م
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattabi`ū Khuţuwāti Ash-Shayţāni ۚ Wa Man Yattabi` Khuţuwāti Ash-Shayţāni Fa'innahu Ya'muru Bil-Faĥshā'i Wa Al-Munkari ۚ Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Mā Zakā Minkum Min 'Aĥadin 'Abadāan Wa Lakinna Allāha Yuzakkī Man ۗ Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 21). O you who believe! Do not follow Satan's footsteps. Whoever follows Satan's footsteps"”he advocates obscenity and immorality. Were it not for God's grace towards you, and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever. But God purifies whomever He wills. God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 024021 ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ لاَ‌ تَتَّبِعُوا‌ خُ‍‍طُ‍‍و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انِ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَتَّبِعْ خُ‍‍طُ‍‍و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انِ فَإِنَّ‍‍هُ يَأْمُرُ‌ بِ‍‍الْفَحْش‍‍َا‌ءِ وَ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ‍‍رِ ۚ ‌وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَحَدٍ أَبَد‌اً ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُزَكِّي مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Lā Ya'tali 'Ūlū Al-Fađli Minkum Wa As-Sa`ati 'An Yu'utū 'Ūlī Al-Qurbá Wa Al-Masākīna Wa Al-Muhājirīna Fī Sabīli Allāhi ۖ Wa Lya`fū Wa Lyaşfaĥū ۗ 'Alā Tuĥibbūna 'An Yaghfira Allāhu Lakum ۗ Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 22). Those of you who have affluence and means should not refuse to give to the relatives, and the needy, and the emigrants for the sake of God. And let them pardon, and let them overlook. Do you not love for God to pardon you? God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 024022 وَلاَ‌ يَأْتَلِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا‌ ‌الْفَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّعَةِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُؤْتُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلِي ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْبَى وَ‌الْمَسَاك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْمُهَاجِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَلْيَعْفُوا‌ ‌وَلْيَ‍‍صْ‍‍فَحُ‍‍وا‌ ۗ ‌أَلاَ‌ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ رَح‍‍ِي‍مٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna Al-Muĥşanāti Al-Ghāfilāti Al-Mu'umināti Lu`inū Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 23). Those who slander honorable, innocent, believing women are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter. They will have a terrible punishment. 024023 إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَرْم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْمُحْ‍‍صَ‍‍ن‍‍َاتِ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍افِلاَتِ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍َاتِ لُعِنُوا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Yawma Tash/hadu `Alayhim 'Alsinatuhum Wa 'Aydīhim Wa 'Arjuluhum Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna (An-Nūr: 24). On the Day when their tongues, and their hands, and their feet will testify against them regarding what they used to do. 024024 يَ‍‍وْمَ تَشْهَدُ‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ ‌وَ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌رْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا‌ كَانُوا‌ يَعْمَل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Yawma'idhin Yuwaffīhimu Allāhu Dīnahumu Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Ya`lamūna 'Anna Allāha Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Al-Mubīnu (An-Nūr: 25). On that Day, God will pay them their account in full, and they will know that God is the Evident Reality. 024025 يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌دِينَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ‌وَيَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ هُوَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ‌الْمُب‍‍ِي‍نُ
Al-Khabīthātu Lilkhabīthīna Wa Al-Khabīthūna Lilkhabīthāti ۖ Wa Aţ-Ţayyibātu Lilţţayyibīna Wa Aţ-Ţayyibūna Lilţţayyibāti ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Mubarra'ūna Mimmā Yaqūlūna ۖ Lahum Maghfiratun Wa Rizqun Karīmun (An-Nūr: 26). Bad women are for bad men, and bad men are for bad women, and good women are for good men, and good men are for good women. Those are acquitted of what they say. There is forgiveness for them, and a generous provision. 024026 ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍َاتُ لِلْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِلْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍َاتِ ۖ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍َاتُ لِل‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِل‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍َاتِ ۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ مُبَ‍رَّ‌ء‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۖ لَهُمْ مَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٌ ‌وَ‌رِ‌زْق‌‍ٌ‌ كَ‍‍رِ‍ي‍مٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tadkhulū Buyūtāan Ghayra Buyūtikum Ĥattá Tasta'nisū Wa Tusallimū `Alá 'Ahlihā ۚ Dhalikum Khayrun Lakum La`allakum Tadhakkarūna (An-Nūr: 27). O you who believe! Do not enter homes other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted their occupants. That is better for you, that you may be aware. 024027 ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْ‍خُ‍‍لُوا‌ بُيُوتاً‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى‌ تَسْتَأْنِسُوا‌ ‌وَتُسَلِّمُوا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَهْلِهَا‌ ۚ ‌ذَلِكُمْ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Fa'in Lam Tajidū Fīhā 'Aĥadāan Falā Tadkhulūhā Ĥattá Yu'udhana Lakum ۖ Wa 'In Qīla Lakum Arji`ū Fārji`ū ۖ Huwa 'Azká Lakum ۚ Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 28). And if you find no one in them, do not enter them until you are given permission. And if it is said to you, "Turn back,"‌ then turn back. That is more proper for you. God is aware of what you do. 024028 فَإِ‌ن‌ْ لَمْ تَجِدُ‌وا‌ فِيهَ‍‍ا أَحَد‌اً فَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْ‍خُ‍‍لُوهَا‌ حَتَّى‌ يُؤْ‌ذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَكُمْ ‌ا‌رْجِعُوا‌ فَا‌رْجِعُوا‌ ۖ هُوَ أَ‌زْكَى‌ لَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Laysa `Alaykum Junāĥun 'An Tadkhulū Buyūtāan Ghayra Maskūnatin Fīhā Matā`un Lakum ۚ Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Tubdūna Wa Mā Taktumūna (An-Nūr: 29). There is no blame on you for entering uninhabited houses, in which are belongings of yours. God knows what you reveal and what you conceal. 024029 لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُن‍‍َاحٌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍دْ‍خُ‍‍لُوا‌ بُيُوتاً‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ مَسْكُونَةٍ فِيهَا‌ مَت‍‍َاع ٌ لَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَمَا‌ تَكْتُم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qul Lilmu'uminīna Yaghuđđū Min 'Abşārihim Wa Yaĥfažū Furūjahum ۚ Dhālika 'Azká Lahum ۗ 'Inna Allāha Khabīrun Bimā Yaşna`ūna (An-Nūr: 30). Tell the believing men to restrain their looks, and to guard their privates. That is purer for them. God is cognizant of what they do. 024030 قُ‍‍لْ لِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍غُ‍‍ضُّ‍‍وا‌ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَبْ‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِهِمْ ‌وَيَحْفَ‍‍ظُ‍‍وا‌ فُرُ‌وجَهُمْ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ ‌أَ‌زْكَى‌ لَهُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ يَ‍‍صْ‍‍نَع‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Qul Lilmu'umināti Yaghđuđna Min 'Abşārihinna Wa Yaĥfažna Furūjahunna Wa Lā Yubdīna Zīnatahunna 'Illā Mā Žahara Minhā ۖ Wa Lyađribna Bikhumurihinna `Alá Juyūbihinna ۖ Wa Lā Yubdīna Zīnatahunna 'Illā Libu`ūlatihinna 'Aw 'Ābā'ihinna 'Aw 'Ābā'i Bu`ūlatihinna 'Aw 'Abnā'ihinna 'Aw 'Abnā'i Bu`ūlatihinna 'Aw 'Ikhwānihinna 'Aw Banī 'Ikhwānihinna 'Aw Banī 'Akhawātihinna 'Aw Nisā'ihinna 'Aw Mā Malakat 'Aymānuhunna 'Awi At-Tābi`īna Ghayri 'Ūlī Al-'Irbati Mina Ar-Rijāli 'Awi Aţ-Ţifli Al-Ladhīna Lam Yažharū `Alá `Awrāti An-Nisā' ۖ Wa Lā Yađribna Bi'arjulihinna Liyu`lama Mā Yukhfīna Min Zīnatihinna ۚ Wa Tūbū 'Ilá Allāhi Jamī`āan 'Ayyuhā Al-Mu'uminūna La`allakum Tufliĥūna (An-Nūr: 31). And tell the believing women to restrain their looks, and to guard their privates, and not display their beauty except what is apparent thereof, and to draw their coverings over their breasts, and not expose their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, what their right hands possess, their male attendants who have no sexual desires, or children who are not yet aware of the nakedness of women. And they should not strike their feet to draw attention to their hidden beauty. And repent to God, all of you believers, so that you may succeed. 024031 وَ‍قُ‍‍لْ لِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍َاتِ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍ضُ‍‍ضْ‍‍نَ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَبْ‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَيَحْفَ‍‍ظْ‍‍نَ فُرُ‌وجَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌زِينَتَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ ظَ‍‍هَ‍رَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۖ ‌وَلْيَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبْ‍‍نَ بِ‍‍خُ‍‍مُ‍‍رِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ عَلَى‌ جُيُوبِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌زِينَتَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِلاَّ‌ لِبُعُولَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ آب‍‍َائِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ آب‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بُعُولَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َائِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بُعُولَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍وَ‌اتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ نِس‍‍َائِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مَا‌ مَلَكَتْ ‌أَيْمَانُهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وِ‌ ‌ال‍‍تَّابِع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلِي ‌الإِ‌ر‍‍ْ‍بَةِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍رِّج‍‍َالِ ‌أَ‌وِ‌ ‌ال‍‍طِّ‍‍فْلِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍هَرُ‌وا‌ عَلَى‌ عَوْ‌رَ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍نِس‍‍َا‌ء‌ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبْ‍‍نَ بِأَ‌رْجُلِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا‌ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌زِينَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ۚ ‌وَتُوبُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ جَمِيعاً أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِح‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa 'Ankiĥū Al-'Ayāmá Minkum Wa Aş-Şāliĥīna Min `Ibādikum Wa 'Imā'ikum ۚ 'In Yakūnū Fuqarā'a Yughnihimu Allāhu Min Fađlihi ۗ Wa Allāhu Wāsi`un `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 32). And wed the singles among you, and those who are fit among your servants and maids. If they are poor, God will enrich them from His bounty. God is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. 024032 وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍كِحُوا‌ ‌الأَيَامَى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دِكُمْ ‌وَ‌إِم‍‍َائِكُمْ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَكُونُوا‌ فُ‍‍قَ‍‍ر‍َ‌اءَ‌ يُ‍‍غْ‍‍نِهِمُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَ‌اسِعٌ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Lyasta`fifi Al-Ladhīna Lā Yajidūna Nikāĥāan Ĥattá Yughniyahumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi ۗ Wa Al-Ladhīna Yabtaghūna Al-Kitāba Mimmā Malakat 'Aymānukum Fakātibūhum 'In `Alimtum Fīhim Khayan ۖ Wa 'Ātūhum Min Māli Allāhi Al-Ladhī 'Ātākum ۚ Wa Lā Tukrihū Fatayātikum `Alá Al-Bighā'i 'In 'Aradna Taĥaşşunāan Litabtaghū `Arađa Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۚ Wa Man Yukrihhunna Fa'inna Allāha Min Ba`di 'Ikhihinna Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 33). And let those who do not find the means to marry abstain, until God enriches them from His bounty. If any of your servants wish to be freed, grant them their wish, if you recognize some good in them. And give them of God's wealth which he has given you. And do not compel your girls to prostitution, seeking the materials of this life, if they desire to remain chaste. Should anyone compel them"”after their compulsion, God is Forgiving and Merciful. 024033 وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَجِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ نِكَاحاً‌ حَتَّى‌ يُ‍‍غْ‍‍نِيَهُمُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍غُ‍‍ونَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ مَلَكَتْ ‌أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً ۖ ‌وَ‌آتُوهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ م‍‍َالِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌الَّذِي ‌آتَاكُمْ ۚ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُكْ‍‍رِهُوا‌ فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى‌ ‌الْبِ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ءِ إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌دْنَ تَحَ‍‍صُّ‍‍ناً لِتَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍غُ‍‍وا‌ عَ‍رَضَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُكْ‍‍رِهُّ‍‍نّ‌َ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ إِكْ‍رَ‌اهِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ رَح‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Laqad 'Anzalnā 'Ilaykum 'Āyātin Mubayyinātin Wa Mathalāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Khalawā Min Qablikum Wa Maw`ižatan Lilmuttaqīna (An-Nūr: 34). We have sent down to you clarifying revelations, and examples of those who passed on before you, and advice for the righteous. 024034 وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَ‍‍ا إِلَيْكُمْ ‌آي‍‍َاتٍ مُبَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَمَثَلاً مِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ خَ‍‍لَوْ‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكُمْ ‌وَمَوْعِ‍‍ظَ‍‍ة ً‌ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Al-Lahu Nūru As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Mathalu Nūrihi Kamishkāatin Fīhā Mişbāĥun ۖ Al-Mişbāĥu Fī Zujājatin ۖ Az-Zujājatu Ka'annahā Kawkabun Durrīyunqadu Min Shajaratin Mubārakatin ZaytūniatinSharqīyatin Wa Lā Gharbīyatin Yakādu Zaytuhā Yuđī'u Wa Law Lam Tamsas/hu Nārun ۚ Nūrun `Alá Nūrin ۗ Yahdī Al-Lahu Linūrihi Man Yashā'u ۚ Wa Yađribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla Lilnnāsi ۗ Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 35). God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a pillar on which is a lamp. The lamp is within a glass. The glass is like a brilliant planet, fueled by a blessed tree, an olive tree, neither eastern nor western. Its oil would almost illuminate, even if no fire has touched it. Light upon Light. God guides to His light whomever He wills. God thus cites the parables for the people. God is cognizant of everything. 024035 ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌رُ‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُو‌رِهِ كَمِشْك‍‍َاةٍ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‍صْ‍‍ب‍‍َاحٌ ۖ ‌الْمِ‍‍صْ‍‍ب‍‍َاحُ فِي ‌زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ‌ال‍‍زُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّ‍‍هَا‌ كَوْكَبٌ ‌دُ‌رِّيٌّ يُوقَ‍‍دُ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَجَ‍رَةٍ مُبَا‌‍رَكَةٍ ‌زَيْتُونِةٍ لاَ‌ شَرْقِ‍‍يَّةٍ ‌وَلاَ غَ‍‍رْبِيَّةٍ يَك‍‍َا‌دُ زَيْتُهَا‌ يُ‍‍ض‍ِ‍يءُ وَلَوْ‌ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ ن‍‍َا‌رٌ ۚ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌رٌ‌ عَلَى‌ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٍ ۗ يَهْدِي ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ لِنُو‌رِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌وَيَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌الأَمْث‍‍َالَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ بِكُلِّ شَ‍يْءٍ‌ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Fī Buyūtin 'Adhina Allāhu 'An Turfa`a Wa Yudhkara Fīhā Asmuhu Yusabbiĥu Lahu Fīhā Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli (An-Nūr: 36). In houses which God has permitted to be raised, and His name is celebrated therein. He is glorified therein, morning and evening. 024036 فِي بُي‍‍ُ‍وتٍ ‌أَ‌ذِنَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تُرْفَعَ ‌وَيُذْكَ‍رَ‌ فِيهَا‌ ‌اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا‌ بِ‍‍الْ‍‍غُ‍‍دُ‌وِّ وَ‌الآ‍‍صَ‍‍‍‍ا‍لِ
Rijālun Lā Tulhīhim Tijāratun Wa Lā Bay`un `An Dhikri Allāhi Wa 'Iqāmi Aş-Şalāati Wa 'Ītā'i Az-Zakāati ۙ Yakhāfūna Yawmāan Tataqallabu Fīhi Al-Qulūbu Wa Al-'Abşāru (An-Nūr: 37). By men who neither trading nor commerce distracts them from God's remembrance, and from performing the prayers, and from giving alms. They fear a Day when hearts and sights are overturned. 024037 ‍رِج‍‍َال ٌ لاَ‌ تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَا‌‍رَةٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍عٌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌إِ‍قَ‍امِ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةِ ‌وَ‌إِيت‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةِ ۙ يَ‍‍خَ‍‍اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ يَوْماً تَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍لَّبُ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبُ ‌وَ‌الأَبْ‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رُ
Liyajziyahumu Allāhu 'Aĥsana Mā `Amilū Wa Yazīdahum Min Fađlihi ۗ Wa Allāhu Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin (An-Nūr: 38). God will reward them according to the best of what they did, and He will increase them from His bounty. God provides for whomever He wills without reckoning. 024038 لِيَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِيَهُمُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَحْسَنَ مَا‌ عَمِلُوا‌ ‌وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ يَرْ‌زُقُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حِسَ‍‍ا‍بٍ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'A`māluhum Kasarābin Biqī`atin Yaĥsabuhu Až-Žam'ānu Mā'an Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'ahu Lam Yajid/hu Shay'āan Wa Wajada Allāha `Indahu Fawaffāhu Ĥisābahu ۗ Wa Allāhu Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi (An-Nūr: 39). As for those who disbelieve, their works are like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty assumes it is to be water. Until, when he has reached it, he finds it to be nothing, but there he finds God, Who settles his account in full. God is swift in reckoning. 024039 وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا‌ ‌أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَ‍رَ‍‌ابٍ بِ‍‍قِ‍‍يعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍مْآنُ م‍‍َا‌ءً‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُ لَمْ يَجِ‍‍دْهُ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَ‌وَجَدَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ فَوَفّ‍‍َاهُ حِسَابَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْحِسَ‍‍ا‍بِ
'Aw Kažulumātin Fī Baĥrin Lujjīyin Yaghshāhu Mawjun Min Fawqihi Mawjun Min Fawqihi Saĥābun ۚ Žulumātun Ba`đuhā Fawqa Ba`đin 'Idhā 'Akhraja Yadahu Lam Yakad Yaۗ Wa Man Lam Yaj`ali Allāhu Lahu Nūan Famā Lahu Min Nūrin (An-Nūr: 40). Or like utter darkness in a vast ocean, covered by waves, above which are waves, above which is fog. Darkness upon darkness. If he brings out his hand, he will hardly see it. He to whom God has not granted a light has no light. 024040 أَ‌وْ‌ كَ‍‍ظُ‍‍لُم‍‍َاتٍ فِي بَحْر‌ٍ لُجِّيٍّ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍ش‍‍َاهُ مَ‍‍وْجٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَوْقِ‍‍هِ مَ‍‍وْجٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَوْقِ‍‍هِ سَح‍‍َابٌ ۚ ظُ‍‍لُم‍‍َات‌‍ٌ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍هَا‌ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قَ بَعْ‍‍ضٍ إِ‌ذَ‌ا أَ‍خْ‍رَجَ يَدَهُ لَمْ يَكَ‍‍دْ‌ يَ‍رَ‌اهَا‌ ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَمْ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَهُ نُو‌ر‌اً فَمَا‌ لَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نُ‍‍و‌‍رٍ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Yusabbiĥu Lahu Man As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Aţ-Ţayru Şāffātin ۖ Kullun Qad `Alima Şalātahu Wa Tasbīĥahu ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bimā Yaf`alūna (An-Nūr: 41). Do you not realize that God is glorified by whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and even by the birds in formation? Each knows its prayer and its manner of praise. God knows well what they do. 024041 أَلَمْ تَ‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ صَ‍‍افّ‍‍َاتٍ ۖ كُلٌّ قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَلِمَ صَ‍‍لاَتَهُ ‌وَتَسْبِيحَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِمَا‌ يَفْعَل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Lillāh Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Al-Maşīru (An-Nūr: 42). To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to God is the ultimate return. 024042 وَلِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ مُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْمَ‍‍ص‍‍ِي‍رُ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Yuzjī Saĥābāan Thumma Yu'uallifu Baynahu Thumma Yaj`aluhu Rukāmāan Fatará Al-Wadqa Yakhruju Min Khilālihi Wa Yunazzilu Mina As-Samā'i Min Jibālin Fīhā Min Baradin Fayuşību Bihi Man Yashā'u Wa Yaşrifuhu `An Man Yashā'u ۖ Yakādu Sanā Barqihi Yadh/habu Bil-'Abşāri (An-Nūr: 43). Have you not seen how God propels the clouds, then brings them together, then piles them into a heap, and you see rain drops emerging from its midst? How He brings down loads of hail from the sky, striking with it whomever He wills, and diverting it from whomever He wills? The flash of its lightening almost snatches the sight away. 024043 أَلَمْ تَ‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُزْجِي سَحَاباً ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُهُ ‌رُكَاماً فَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الْوَ‌دْ‍قَ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ مِ‍‌ن‌ْ خِ‍‍لاَلِهِ ‌وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ جِب‍‍َالٍ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَ‍رَ‌د‌‌ٍ فَيُ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍بُ بِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِفُهُ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۖ يَك‍‍َا‌دُ‌ سَنَا‌ بَرْقِ‍‍هِ يَذْهَبُ بِ‍‍الأَبْ‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِ
Yuqallibu Allāhu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La`ibratan Li'wlī Al-'Abşāri (An-Nūr: 44). God alternates the night and the day. In that is a lesson for those who have insight. 024044 يُ‍قَ‍‍لِّبُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍رَۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَعِ‍‍بْ‍رَة ً‌ لِأ‌و‍‍ْ‍لِي ‌الأَبْ‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِ
Wa Allāhu Khalaqa Kulla Dābbatin Min Mā'in ۖ Faminhum Man Yamshī `Alá Baţnihi Wa Minhum Man Yamshī `Alá Rijlayni Wa Minhum Man Yamshī `Alá 'Arba`in ۚ Yakhluqu Allāhu Mā Yashā'u ۚ 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun (An-Nūr: 45). God created every living creature from water. Some of them crawl on their bellies, and some walk on two feet, and others walk on four. God creates whatever He wills. God is Capable of everything. 024045 وَ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ كُلَّ ‌د‍َ‍‌ابَّةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ م‍‍َا‌ء‌‌ٍ ۖ فَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَمْشِي عَلَى‌ بَ‍‍طْ‍‍نِهِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَمْشِي عَلَى‌ ‌رِجْ‍‍لَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَمْشِي عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌رْبَعٍ ۚ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍د‍‍ِي‍رٌ
Laqad 'Anzalnā 'Āyātin Mubayyinātin ۚ Wa Allāhu Yahdī Man Yashā'u 'Ilá Şiţin Mustaqīmin (An-Nūr: 46). We sent down enlightening revelations, and God guides whomever He wills to a straight path. 024046 لَ‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَ‍‍ا آي‍‍َاتٍ مُبَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ يَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ إِلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطٍ مُسْتَ‍‍ق‍‍ِي‍مٍ
Wa Yaqūlūna 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Bir-Rasūli Wa 'Aţa`nā Thumma Yatawallá Farīqun Minhum Min Ba`di Dhālika ۚ Wa Mā 'Ūlā'ika Bil-Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 47). And they say, "We have believed in God and the Messenger, and we obey,"‌ but some of them turn away afterwards. These are not believers. 024047 وَيَ‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَبِ‍‍ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ ‌وَ‌أَطَ‍‍عْنَا‌ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَتَوَلَّى‌ فَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍قٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ بِ‍‍الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa 'Idhā Du`ū 'Ilá Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum 'Idhā Farīqun Minhum Mu`rūna (An-Nūr: 48). And when they are called to God and His Messenger, in order to judge between them, some of them refuse. 024048 وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا دُعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ فَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍قٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ض‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa 'In Yakun Lahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Ya'tū 'Ilayhi Mudh`inīna (An-Nūr: 49). But if justice is on their side, they accept it willingly. 024049 وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ يَأْتُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مُذْعِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
'Afī Qulūbihim Marađun 'Am Artābū 'Am Yakhāfūna 'An Yaĥīfa Allāhu `Alayhim Wa ۚ Rasūluhu Bal 'Ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūn (An-Nūr: 50). Is there sickness in their hearts? Or are they suspicious? Or do they fear that God may do them injustice? Or His Messenger? In fact, they themselves are the unjust. 024050 أَفِي قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ مَ‍رَضٌ ‌أَمْ ‌ا‌رْتَابُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَمْ يَ‍‍خَ‍‍اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍فَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولُهُ ۚ بَلْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ُو‍‍ن
'Innamā Kāna Qawla Al-Mu'uminīna 'Idhā Du`ū 'Ilá Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum 'An Yaqūlū Sami`nā Wa 'Aţa`nā ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna (An-Nūr: 51). The response of the believers, when they are called to God and His Messenger in order to judge between them, is to say, "We hear and we obey."‌ These are the successful. 024051 إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ قَ‍‍وْلَ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا دُعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا‌ سَمِعْنَا وَ‌أَطَ‍‍عْنَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُفْلِح‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Man Yuţi`i Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Yakhsha Allāha Wa Yattaqhi Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fā'izūna (An-Nūr: 52). Whoever obeys God and His Messenger, and fears God, and is conscious of Him"”these are the winners. 024052 وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍طِ‍‍عِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولَهُ ‌وَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍شَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَيَتَّ‍‍ق‍‍هِ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْف‍‍َائِز‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Wa 'Aqsamū Billāhi Jahda 'Aymānihim La'in 'Amartahum Layakhrujunna ۖ Qul Lā Tuqsimū ۖ Ţā`atun Ma`rūfatun ۚ 'Inna Allāha Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna (An-Nūr: 53). And they swear by God with their solemn oaths, that if you commanded them, they would mobilize. Say, "Do not swear. Obedience will be recognized. God is experienced with what you do."‌ 024053 وَ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍سَمُوا‌ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِ‍‌نْ ‌أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۖ قُ‍‍لْ لاَ‌ تُ‍‍قْ‍‍سِمُوا‌ ۖ طَ‍‍اعَةٌ مَعْرُ‌وفَةٌ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qul 'Aţī`ū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ū Ar-Rasūla ۖ Fa'in Tawallaw Fa'innamā `Alayhi Mā Ĥummila Wa `Alaykum Mā Ĥummiltum ۖ Wa 'In Tuţī`ūhu Tahtadū ۚ Wa Mā `Alá Ar-Rasūli 'Illā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu (An-Nūr: 54). Say, "Obey God and obey the Messenger."‌ But if they turn away, then he is responsible for his obligations, and you are responsible for your obligations. And if you obey him, you will be guided. It is only incumbent on the Messenger to deliver the Clarifying Message. 024054 قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا‌ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ ۖ فَإِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّو‌ا‌ فَإِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مَا‌ حُ‍‍مِّ‍‍لَ ‌وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا‌ حُ‍‍مِّ‍‍لْتُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍وهُ تَهْتَدُ‌وا‌ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ ‌إِلاَّ ‌الْبَلاَغُ ‌الْمُب‍‍ِي‍نُ
Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Minkum Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Layastakhlifannahum Al-'Arđi Kamā Astakhlafa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Wa Layumakkinanna Lahum Dīnahumu Al-Ladhī Artađá Lahum Wa Layubaddilannahum Min Ba`di Khawfihim 'Amnāan ۚ Ya`budūnanī Lā Yushrikūna Bī Shay'āan ۚ Wa Man Kafara Ba`da Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna (An-Nūr: 55). God has promised those of you who believe and do righteous deeds, that He will make them successors on earth, as He made those before them successors, and He will establish for them their religion"”which He has approved for them"”and He will substitute security in place of their fear. They worship Me, never associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that"”these are the sinners. 024055 وَعَدَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَعَمِلُوا‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ لَيَسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍لِفَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُم فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ كَمَا‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍لَفَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ ‌وَلَيُمَكِّنَ‍‍نّ‌َ لَهُمْ ‌دِينَهُمُ ‌الَّذِي ‌ا‌رْتَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى‌ لَهُمْ ‌وَلَيُبَدِّلَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ خَ‍‍وْفِهِمْ ‌أَمْناً ۚ يَعْبُدُ‌ونَنِي لاَ‌ يُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِي شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَفَ‍رَ‌ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍ق‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa 'Aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa 'Aţī`ū Ar-Rasūla La`allakum Turĥamūna (An-Nūr: 56). Pray regularly, and give regular charity, and obey the Messenger, so that you may receive mercy. 024056 وَ‌أَ‍قِ‍‍يمُوا‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَ‌آتُوا‌ ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا‌ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Mu`jizīna Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Wa Ma'humu An-Nāru ۖ Wa Labi'sa Al-Maşīru (An-Nūr: 57). Never think that those who disbelieve can escape on earth. Their place is the Fire; a miserable destination. 024057 لاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا‌ مُعْجِز‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ۚ ‌وَمَأْ‌وَ‌اهُمُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ۖ ‌وَلَبِئْسَ ‌الْمَ‍‍ص‍‍ِي‍رُ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Liyasta'dhinkumu Al-Ladhīna Malakat 'Aymānukum Wa Al-Ladhīna Lam Yablughū Al-Ĥuluma Minkum Thalātha Marrātin ۚ Min Qabli Şalāati Al-Fajri Wa Ĥīna Tađa`ūna Thiyā Bakum Mina Až-Žahīrati Wa Min Ba`di Şalāati ۚ Al-`Ishā'i Thalāthu `Awrātin ۚ Lakum Laysa `Alaykum Wa Lā `Alayhim ۚ Junāĥun Ba`dahunna Ţawwāfūna `Alaykum Ba`đukum ۚ `Alá Ba`đin Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu ۗ Lakumu Al-'Āyā Ti Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 58). O you who believe! Permission must be requested by your servants and those of you who have not reached puberty. On three occasions: before the Dawn Prayer, and at noon when you change your clothes, and after the Evening Prayer. These are three occasions of privacy for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to intermingle with one another. God thus clarifies the revelations for you. God is Knowledgeable and Wise. 024058 ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ لِيَسْتَأْ‌ذِ‌نْ‍‍كُمُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مَلَكَتْ ‌أَيْمَانُكُمْ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمْ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ‍‍غُ‍‍وا‌ ‌الْحُلُمَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ثَلاَثَ مَرّ‍َ‍‌اتٍ ۚ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ صَ‍‍لاَةِ ‌الْفَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِ ‌وَح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ثِيَابَكُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍هِي‍رَةِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ صَ‍‍لاَةِ ‌الْعِش‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ۚ ثَلاَثُ عَوْ‌رَ‍‌اتٍ لَكُمْ ۚ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَيْهِمْ جُن‍‍َاح‌‍ٌ بَعْدَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۚ طَ‍‍وَّ‌اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍كُمْ عَلَى‌ بَعْ‍‍ضٍۚ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَك‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa 'Idhā Balagha Al-'Aţfālu Minkumu Al-Ĥuluma Falyasta'dhinū Kamā Asta'dhana Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۚ Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'Āyātihi ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 59). When the children among you reach puberty, they must ask permission, as those before them asked permission. God thus clarifies His revelations for you. God is Knowledgeable and Wise. 024059 وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ ‌الأَ‍طْ‍‍ف‍‍َالُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمُ ‌الْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَأْ‌ذِنُوا‌ كَمَا‌ ‌اسْتَأْ‌ذَنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ ۚ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ‌آيَاتِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَك‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Al-Qawā`idu Mina An-Nisā' Al-Lātī Lā Yarjūna Nikāĥāan Falaysa `Alayhinna Junāĥun 'An Yađa`na Thiyābahunna Ghayra Mutabarrijātin Bizīnatin ۖ Wa 'An Yasta`fifna Khayrun Lahunna ۗ Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 60). Women past the age of childbearing, who have no desire for marriage, commit no wrong by taking off their outer clothing, provided they do not flaunt their finery. But to maintain modesty is better for them. God is Hearing and Knowing. 024060 وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وَ‌اعِدُ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نِس‍‍َا‌ء‌ ‌ال‍‍لاَّتِي لاَ‌ يَرْج‍‍ُ‍ونَ نِكَاحاً فَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْهِ‍‍نّ‌َ جُن‍‍َاحٌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ضَ‍‍عْنَ ثِيَابَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ مُتَبَرِّج‍‍َاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Laysa `Alá Al-'A`má Ĥarajun Wa Lā `Alá Al-'A`raji Ĥarajun Wa Lā `Alá Al-Marīđi Ĥarajun Wa Lā `Alá 'Anfusikum 'An Ta'kulū Min Buyūtikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Ābā'ikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Ummahātikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Ikhwānikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Akhawātikum 'Aw Buyūti 'A`māmikum 'Aw Buyūti `Ammātikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Akhwālikum 'Aw Buyūti Khālātikum 'Aw Mā Malaktum Mafātiĥahu 'Aw Şadīqikum ۚ Laysa `Alaykum Junāĥun 'An Ta'kulū Jamī`āan 'Aw 'Ashtātāan ۚ Fa'idhā Dakhaltum Buyūtāan Fasallimū `Alá 'Anfusikum Taĥīyatan Min `Indi Allāhi Mubārakatan Ţayyibatan ۚ Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakumu Al-'Āyāti La`allakum Ta`qilūna (An-Nūr: 61). There is no blame on the blind, nor any blame on the lame, nor any blame on the sick, nor on yourselves for eating at your homes, or your fathers' homes, or your mothers' homes, or your brothers' homes, or your sisters' homes, or the homes of your paternal uncles, or the homes of your paternal aunts, or the homes of your maternal uncles, or the homes of your maternal aunts, or those whose keys you own, or the homes of your friends. You commit no wrong by eating together or separately. But when you enter any home, greet one another with a greeting from God, blessed and good. God thus explains the revelations for you, so that you may understand. 024061 لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَعْمَى‌ حَ‍رَجٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَعْ‍رَجِ حَ‍رَجٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْمَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍ضِ حَ‍رَجٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِكُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْكُلُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بُيُوتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌آب‍‍َائِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أُمَّ‍‍هَاتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍وَ‌اتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أَعْمَامِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍اتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍وَ‌الِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ خَ‍‍الاَتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مَا‌ مَلَكْتُمْ مَفَاتِحَهُ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ صَ‍‍دِي‍‍قِ‍‍كُمْ ۚ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُن‍‍َاحٌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْكُلُوا‌ جَمِيعاً أَ‌وْ أَشْتَاتاً ۚ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا دَ‍خَ‍‍لْتُمْ بُيُوتاً فَسَلِّمُوا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ مُبَا‌‍رَكَةً طَ‍‍يِّبَةً ۚ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍ل‍‍ُو‍نَ
'Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa 'Idhā Kānū Ma`ahu `Alá 'Amrin Jāmi`in Lam Yadh/habū Ĥattá Yasta'dhinūhu ۚ 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yasta'dhinūnaka 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi ۚ Fa'idhā Asta'dhanūka Liba`đi Sha'nihim Fa'dhan Liman Shi'ta Minhum Wa Astaghfir Lahumu Allāha ۚ 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 62). The believers are those who believe in God and His Messenger, and when they are with him for a matter of common interest, they do not leave until they have asked him for permission. Those who ask your permission are those who believe in God and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission to attend to some affair of theirs, give permission to any of them you wish, and ask God's forgiveness for them. God is Forgiving and Merciful. 024062 إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ كَانُوا‌ مَعَهُ عَلَ‍‍ى أَمْر‌‌ٍ جَامِعٍ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا‌ حَتَّى‌ يَسْتَأْ‌ذِن‍‍ُ‍وهُ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَسْتَأْ‌ذِنُونَكَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ ۚ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌اسْتَأْ‌ذَن‍‍ُ‍وكَ لِبَعْ‍‍ضِ شَأْنِهِمْ فَأْ‌ذَ‌ن‌ْ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شِئْتَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‌اسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ رَح‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Lā Taj`alū Du`ā'a Ar-Rasūli Baynakum Kadu`ā'i Ba`đikum Ba`đāan ۚ Qad Ya`lamu Allāhu Al-Ladhīna Yatasallalūna Minkum Liwādhāan ۚ Falyaĥdhari Al-Ladhīna Yukhālifūna `An 'Amrihi 'An Tuşībahum Fitnatun 'Aw Yuşībahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun (An-Nūr: 63). Do not address the Messenger in the same manner you address one another. God knows those of you who slip away using flimsy excuses. So let those who oppose his orders beware, lest an ordeal strikes them, or a painful punishment befalls them. 024063 لاَ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُوا‌ ‌دُع‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُع‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بَعْ‍‍ضِ‍‍كُمْ بَعْ‍‍ض‍‍اً ۚ قَ‍‍دْ‌ يَعْلَمُ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتَسَلَّل‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ لِوَ‌ا‌ذ‌اً ۚ فَلْيَحْذَ‌رِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُ‍‍خَ‍‍الِف‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِهِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
'Alā 'Inna Lillāh Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Qad Ya`lamu Mā 'Antum `Alayhi Wa Yawma Yurja`ūna 'Ilayhi Fayunabbi'uhum Bimā `Amilū ۗ Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 64). Surely, to God belongs everything in the heavens and the earth. He knows what you are about. And on the Day they are returned to Him, He will inform them of what they did. God has full knowledge of all things. 024064 أَلاَ إِنّ‌َ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ۖ قَ‍‍دْ‌ يَعْلَمُ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يُرْجَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا‌ عَمِلُوا‌ ۗ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ بِكُلِّ شَ‍يْءٍ‌ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
