Bismi A l-Lahi A r-Raĥmā ni A r-Raĥī mi
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful (Al-Fatihah 1:1) بِسْمِ ا ل لَّهِ ا ل رَّحْمَنِ ا ل رَّحِي مِ
Al-Ĥam du Lillahi Rabbi A l-`Ālamī na
All the praises and thanks be to Allāh, the Lord of the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Fatihah 1:2) ا لْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ا لْعَالَمِي نَ
Ar-Raĥmā ni A r-Raĥī mi
The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (Al-Fatihah 1:3) ا ل رَّحْمَنِ ا ل رَّحِي مِ
Māliki Yawmi A d-Dī ni
The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). (Al-Fatihah 1:4) مَالِكِ يَوْمِ ا ل دِّي نِ
'Ī yā ka Na`budu Wa 'Ī yā ka Nasta`ī nu
You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). (Al-Fatihah 1:5) إِيَّا كَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّا كَ نَسْتَعِي نُ
A hdinā A ş-Şirā ţa A l-Mustaqī ma
Guide us to the Straight Way. (Al-Fatihah 1:6) ا هْدِنَا ا ل صِّرَا طَ ا لْمُسْتَقِي مَ
Şirā ţa A l-Ladh ī na 'An`am ta `Alayhim Gh ayr i A l-Magh đū bi `Alayhim Wa Lā A đ-Đā llī na
The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians). (Al-Fatihah 1:7) صِرَا طَ ا لَّذِي نَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْر ِ ا لْمَغْضُو بِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ ا ل ضَّا لِّي نَ
